3. Emory Healthcare SCRAPS Christmas Eve as paid holiday, replaces with Juneteenth
Dr. Joon Lee, the CEO of Emory Healthcare in Atlanta, Georgia, notified employees that the company would no longer offer holiday pay for Christmas Eve because it was adding Juneteenth to the holiday calendar starting in 2024.
In a statement, Lee said the executive leadership team decided to make Juneteenth an observed holiday, however, he added that “to minimize impact to patient care, we will not be adding another paid holiday to our calendar.” Instead, “we will remove Christmas Eve from our holiday calendar and replace it with Juneteenth.”
This seems a good time to repost the following quote:
4. Quebec man charged with arson after allegedly setting wildfires, causing evacuations
(It’s almost like “Global Warming” is code for a commie with a pack of matches)
A man from northern Quebec has been arrested and charged with two counts of arson following a weeks-long manhunt. The 37-year-old, whose name has not been released, is accused of intentionally setting fire to forests in the area near Chibougamau, a town 500km north of the provincial capital, from which 7,500 residents had to be evacuated in early June.
Quebec was battered by wildfires all summer long, and though it has been claimed that firefighters were able to quickly extinguish those allegedly set by the suspect, an investigation is underway to determine whether they were, in fact, linked to those that wreaked havoc on la belle province. According to the CBC, the suspect appeared in court virtually via videoconference on Thursday from his home in Chibougamau. During proceedings, it was alleged that he had set a series of fires in the area between May 31 and September 5. Most of the blazes were said to have occurred in the forest, however, in one instance he allegedly torched a fishing cabin.
5. Here is some Rebel reportage from the trials of Tamara Litch and Chris Barber. This is very important. This will be the most solid evidence of dialectically driven ‘criminal’ courts Vs. evidence based law and order so far which ever way it goes. So far the indications are the Crown is behaving in ways which are at the very least dishonest and possibly even illegal as they submitted hundreds of pages at the last moment without having submitted them for discovery. One suspects that is illegal. In any case check out this report from The Rebel
Thank you all for checking out this site. Some exciting things to come, hopefully today.
#3 is striking in that there are other ways that this could have been worded. For example, “In reviewing, its policy on holiday time, we have decided to allow one holiday per month. This will result in the following days off for each month…” etc.
Christmas Eve is not a public or Federal holiday in the US. Some States may have it as one. I haven’t seen an expectation among employees that it will be a day off, except in manufacturing plants, where there is a mandatory Christmas to New Years closure.
In truth, the Friday after Thanksgiving is not a Federal holiday either. It is the case that when one holiday is added then another is dropped. If I were wearing a management hat, I would have dropped New Years, but that’s a Federal holiday because the Federal Reserve is closed. Dropping Christmas Eve seems like an easy thing to do.
So, the dropping in a way isn’t the issue, because that day seems like a natural for dropping if someone wamts to add. The question is why ad? Di so many employees take the day off as a personal day off that it no longer makes sense to remain open?
UPDATE: Trudeau’s plane grounded in India by technical issues following G20 summit
https://globalnews.ca/news/9950903/9950903-trudeau-plane-grounded-technical-issues-g20-summit/
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s return to Canada from the G20 summit in India has been delayed by problems with his plane.
The Prime Minister’s Office says it was alerted about the issue as Trudeau’s delegation departed for the airport.
“Upon our departure for the airport, we were made aware by the Canadian Armed Forces that CFC001 was experiencing technical issues. These issues are not fixable overnight, our delegation will be staying in India until alternate arrangements are made. We apologize for the inconvenience this might cause,” the office told Global News.
The plane was scheduled to depart New Delhi at 8 p.m. local time.
Trudeau arrived at the G20 summit in New Delhi early Saturday, the last leg of a trip to the Indo-Pacific region. He was originally slated to be back in Ottawa on Monday.
1. Ref. Klaus Slob and his WEF. We see countries such as mine, the UK, arresting spies, terrorists and traitors for their machinations.
But my question is:
Why are those who are actively executing the plans of The Slob not also being regarded as spies, terrorists and traitors. It seems to me that there is a right kind of fifth columnist and a wrong kind of fifth columnist. And the WEF/UN fifth columnists are regarded as the right kind or perhaps not recognised as the threat they are. Surely these infiltrators are every bit an enemy as our external enemies.
