Reader’s Links for September 10th, 2023

Each day at just after midnight Eastern, a post like this one is created for contributors and readers of this site to upload news links and video links on the issues that concern this site. Most notably, Islam and its effects on Classical Civilization, and various forms of leftism from Soviet era communism, to postmodernism and all the flavours of galloping statism and totalitarianism such as Nazism and Fascism which are increasingly snuffing out the classical liberalism which created our near, miraculous civilization the West has been building since the time of Socrates.

This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

This is the new Samizdat. We must use it while we can.

    • Jack stroked his beard for a moment. His eyes followed his thoughts regrouping on the floor like smart little toys. “Hypocricy doesn’t cut it!” he spat. “Neither does stupidity.”

      He was emphatic. The group sat silently as he paused for a breath. “There are no longer accidents, coincidences, or misunderstandings. Once is happenstance, twice is coincidence, three times is enemy action.”
      “But what about the person who is just, you know, going along to get along?” said Margaret. “They’re just minding their own business.”
      “Yes, like you were minding yours until they made you wear a mask, locked you down, and fired you from your job for protecting your body. There is no more being left alone, now, got it? Are you going to wait around with your thumb up your ass to see what they have in store for you next? Like my father used to say, you can ignore politics for only so long.  Eventually it comes for you.” Jack reached for his coffee. His lips pursed as his tongue slid over a sore front tooth. Doug, who was silent and sat in the corner smoking his cigar, cleared his throat.
      “Jack’s right. There is no hypocricy when the goal is your demise. And what do they care if your think climate change is bullshit? As long as the majority buy into it they’ll keep going. Calling Johnson stupid misses the target. Calling him a communist in the service of the Comintern is the bullseye they want you to keep missing. There is no stupid.”
      “It’s time to shoot first and ask questions later,” said Chris. She was cute, young and smart as a whip. “I mean this figuratively only in part. There’s enough water under the bridge to know who is with us. And if you can’t tell by looking at them, or by what they’re saying, just try a few words of code. –Joke about your pronouns. See how they react. Watch their eyes.”
      “How’s the clinic in Vinton?” Frank asked. “I heard Dr. Lowe was under review.
      “That’s right,” said Jack. “He’s waiting for his hearing.”

      The College of Physicians and Surgeons was systematically pulling the licences of all doctors who tried to keep their autonomy. Health care was going to be top-down from now on. There would be confidential doctor-patient care only as far as it did not conflict with state mandates and control.

      “Has anyone heard from Julius?” Chris asked.
      “I talk to him almost every day,” said Jack. “He’s getting money. Lots of it. Banya is going there next week to help him. He’s got an apartment near the big Synogogue. He says it isn’t huge but it’s big enough.”
      “And the money has no problem getting in?”
      “Not at all. They only look for Open Society proxies. In fact they’re doing a lot to help. It was the right decision. At least so far.”

      The group went on talking until about 11 p.m.. Parallel structure was slowly forming. They learned as they went. Soon they would have set up their government in exile. It had not been easy to do, but since they started getting better legal help it was beginning to roll.

      “So Julius is still up for it? Still enthusiastic?” Chris asked.
      “More than ever,” said Jack.
      “The pressure doesn’t bother him?”
      “No. He knows he’s just there to start it. Good people will follow.”

      • Why do politicians rely on polls? IF everyone spoke up and just said NO, they would back off — some might wet their pants and start sucking their thumbs in private — but I guarantee you they would change their minds quicker than cLIemate change.

        The politicians have stood back and allowed thousands to lose their jobs, BUT they will do what they have to do to save theirs. It is that simple.

        As for the WEF ( including Canada’s Prime Minister, Deputy PM, Freeland, and other collaborators) ,and the mostly unelected ones, we are talking about 3,000 vs maybe 6 billion now.

        When I had an eye operation in the middle of the Covid outbreak, pandemic, Event-201 plandemic, BS, whatever you choose to call it, I was told I would have to have a PCR test, I simply said “No thank you” and that was the end of the conversation.

        I did ask some doctors if they ever heard of Kary Mullis and they said no. I told them he was the man who invented the PCR test and actually won the Nobel Prize for his work. He also said the PCR test is a research tool and was NEVER to be used to diagnose disease in human beings.

  5. Flashback: NM Governor Michelle Grisham Caught Using Taxpayer Money to Pay for Her Groceries, Whiskey and Tequila

    In March of 2020 New Mexico Governor Michelle Grisham locked down her state due to the coronavirus threat. New Mexico was ranked 39th out of the 50 states in coronavirus cases at that time.

    But after Grisham locked down the state she made a private call to her favorite jewelry store to make a purchase. Of course, she was able to do this because she is the Democrat governor.

    But she got caught and started changing her story.

    Then in 2021 the far left governor was caught using taxpayer money to pay for groceries, whiskey and tequila.

    Democrat Governor Facing Calls of Impeachment from Elon Musk After Attack on 2A

    New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham is under attack after a Friday order that banned carrying guns in Albuquerque and Bernalillo County for at least 30 days.

    Lujan Grisham, a Democrat, said she was responding to recent shootings that included the death of an 11-year-old boy when she issued her emergency health order.

    Elon Musk was among those bristling at the move.

    “At risk of stating what should be obvious, deliberately violating the Constitution is next-level illegal. How soon can this person be removed from office?” Musk wrote on X in response to a post about the governor’s action.

    National Association for Gun Rights Files Lawsuit Against New Mexico Governor Over Emergency Order Banning Firearms

    The National Association for Gun Rights has filed a lawsuit against New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham and other state officials over her emergency order prohibiting people from carrying firearms in Albuquerque.
    The lawsuit was filed by the organization and Albuquerque resident Foster Haines one day after Governor Grisham suspended concealed and open carry laws city-wide.

    The complaint argues that the order violates the Second Amendment and cites the 2022 Supreme Court decision in New York State Rifle & Pistol Association, Inc. v. Bruen.

    In that case, the court ruled that New York’s “proper-cause” requirement for a permit to carry a concealed firearm violates the Fourteenth Amendment in that it “prevents law-abiding citizens with ordinary self-defense needs from exercising their Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms.”

    The lawsuit seeks a temporary restraining order against enforcement of the measure.

      New Mexico State Representatives Stefani Lord (R-22) and John Block (R-51) called for the impeaching of Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham (D) after she issued a public health emergency to strip the right away for law-abiding citizens to carry firearms in public in and around Albuquerque, the state’s largest city.

      “This is an abhorrent attempt at imposing a radical, progressive agenda on an unwilling populous. Rather than addressing crime at its core, Governor Grisham is restricting the rights of law-abiding gun owners,” Lord wrote in a press release shared on X.

      While impeachment calls grow, Erich Pratt, Senior VP of Gun Owners of America, told us: “The Governor’s actions are evil and tyrannical. GOA’s attorneys are already preparing a complaint. So heads up to the Governor: ‘We will see you in court.'”

      On Friday evening, New Mexico Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham (D) issued an emergency order suspending the right of law-abiding citizens to open and conceal carry firearms in crime-ridden Albuquerque and the surrounding county for at least 30 days, after declaring a public health emergency in response to a spate of recent gun violence.

      Grisham, who apparently thinks criminals will follow her orders, says she expects legal challenges, but was ‘compelled to act’ following recent shootings, AP reports.

    • Liberty Safe Scandal: Parent Company Exposed as Major Donor to Gun-Control Democrats – Report

      Liberty Safe, which describes itself as “America’s #1 heavy-duty home and gun safe manufacturer,” has come under fire after a report revealed that its parent company has donated almost half a million dollars to pro-gun control Democratic officials.

      On Wednesday, Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk shared FEC filings on the social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, that show Liberty Safe’s parent company, Monomoy Capital Partners, has donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to Democrats.

      “I pulled the FEC reports on the company and found approximately $400,000 over the last 10 cycles of max donations to Democrats,” Kirk wrote.

      “Liberty Safe’s current CEO, Justin Hillenbrand, was a founding partner of Monomoy and donated $4,600 to Obama for America,” Kirk added.

      In a news release Monomoy Capital issued announcing its acquisition of Liberty Safe in 2021, it called the move “another great example of Monomoy partnering with a branded, market leading, consumer products manufacturer that has garnered an enthusiast customer base throughout the company’s history.”

      Among the many donations listed, the most notable were to Democratic Sens. Raphael Warnock of Georgia, John Fetterman of Pennsylvania and Mark Kelly of Arizona, and former Lt. Gov. Mandela Barnes of Wisconsin – all of whom have expressed support for gun control.

      Barnes lost a bid to unseat Wisconsin Republican Sen. Ron Johnson in November.

      Kirk’s report comes as Liberty Safe is already facing fierce backlash for giving the FBI the passcode to a customer’s safe.

      Nathan Earl Hughes of Fayetteville, Arkansas, was arrested on Aug. 30 for his involvement in the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol incursion, according to The New York Times.

      The FBI executed a search of Hughes’ home that day and, in doing so, sent a request to Liberty Safe asking for access to Hughes’ gun safe.

      Hughes’ lawyer, William Shipley, said Liberty Safe voluntarily gave the FBI the passcode to get into the safe, despite the fact that there was no court order requiring the company to do so, the Times reported.

      Hughes’ case has been highlighted by the conservative duo known as the “Hodgetwins,” who described Hughes as an “outspoken American Patriot” and a “friend of ours.”

      The Hodgetwins shared a video of Hughes’ arrest and of a convoy of FBI vehicles pulling into his driveway. Since the FBI reportedly disabled his home security system, there was no footage of agents executing the search.

      Meanwhile, Liberty Safe has attempted to recover from the backlash by announcing that customers can now remove their safe’s passcodes from Liberty Safe’s database of combinations.

      “Effective immediately, customers can visit http://www.libertysafe.com/pages/combination-removal and fill out the form to have records of their access codes expunged,” Liberty Safe said in a statement shared on X.

      “Our mission is to protect what matters most to our customers, whether that be valuables or privacy,” the statement said. “It is our pledge to continue to make excellent products that serve gun owners everywhere.”

    Kari Lake attorney Kurt Olsen shared his thoughts Thursday on a recent Arizona court ruling that could help Kari Lake in her ongoing fight against the stolen 2022 election.

    It’s a “good ruling” for Kari Lake, Olsen told Brannon Howse on Frank Speech.

    As The Gateway Pundit reported, Lake released a statement highlighting the recent court order related to Maricopa County’s fraudulent signature verification and telling Americans she has the “utmost confidence” in her upcoming trial on September 21.

    The Gateway Pundit recently reported that a Yavapai County judge last week rejected Defendants’ Motions to Dismiss the Arizona Free Enterprise Club and Restoring Integrity and Trust in Elections’ recent lawsuit to prohibit the Arizona Secretary of State from enforcing illegal election procedures relating to mail-in ballot signature verification. This ruling confirmed that Maricopa County has been conducting elections unlawfully.

    The Judge ordered that “the language of the statute is clear and unambiguous,” and the current procedures for verifying mail-in ballot signatures “do not have the force of law.”

    President Joe Biden’s reelection campaign announced a digital ad buy tying former President Donald Trump to the GOP’s push for a national abortion ban and highlighting Biden’s support for reinstating the now-defunct Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision.

    The sixty-second “These Guys” ad will run in Iowa and South Dakota, where Trump is making appearances, and in Florida on Friday, when a hearing will determine whether a six-week abortion ban signed into law by Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) will go into effect.

  9. I am not sure what the motive was for this clearly illegal/unlawful order unless she is being thrown under the bus to set up a Second Amendment defense for Hunter Biden.

    An emergency order from SCOTUS vacating this Executive Order would allow the Federal Prosecutor to drop the gun charges against Hunter. This would also give a victory to dozens of gun rights law suits currently before the courts. The left may think this is acceptable to cover up the Biden and Obama bribery scandals.

    There is sure to be more on this scandal soon.

    This man is part of a government that divided the people of the country by accusing some of being anti-vaccine, super spreaders, a “fringe-minority” who should not be tolerated, A government that told people they could not leave the country, go to a restaurant, movie, sports event, ride a bus, a train, fly in a plane, and he still has the audacity to use the word “occupy”.

    He raised human rights while he was in China. LOL LOL HA HA HA

    Not all scientists agree with this climate Fairy tale spinner or Greta. Scientists who are not receiving MONEY from the federal government seem to have different opinions. Science isn’t about putting data into a system — manipulating.

    In early August 2023 a wild fire ripped across Maui. Hundreds were lost in the fire or are still missing.

    A recent report from the Hawaii State Department of Education shows that there are more than 2,000 children who are unaccounted for in the public school system.

    They’re still digging up charred corpses in the ashes.

    After sending more than $100 billion to Ukraine, Biden offered a one-time payment of $700 per household to people displaced by the Maui fires.

    “We’ve also authorized one-time payments of $700 per household for folks who have been displaced so they can do the immediate things…” Biden said.

    $700. Per. Household.

    Meanwhile, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has been given over $100 billion via US taxpayers. The Biden Crime Family was paid millions by Ukrainian officials over the years in their pay for play schemes.

    But Joe Biden is not focused on Maui. He could not care less. Joe Biden wants to build a train across Africa.

    And they wonder why the people LOVE Trump?

    It’s just too bad Maui was not caught up in the Biden bribery scandal, they’d be making more than $700 per household.
