Rinke Terpstra, one of four people killed in a terrorist attack on a tram in Utrecht in 2019, is to be awarded the country’s highest civil award for bravery posthumously.
The Erepenning voor Menslievend Hulpbetoon (“honorary medal for charitable help to others”) will be handed to Terpstra’s children by Utrecht mayor Sharon Dijkstra on Friday.
“We think it’s a beautiful gesture and very deserved,” Tepstra’s brother Bauke told the Volkskrant. “My brother always put others before himself,” he said.
Terpstra, who worked as a rail manager and was 49 at the time, was the first to pull the emergency brake when Gökmen Tanis opened fire in the tram on March 18, 2019, allowing several passengers to escape.
He blocked two bullets with his laptop before kicking in a window. After helping five other passengers out, Terpstra was fatally shot in the back as he left the tram.
Three others were killed in the attack and six others were wounded. Tanis was sentenced to life in prison in 2020.

So, between them, the school and the board have had Josh arrested for trying to attend classes and then when he didn’t attend classes because he was excluded they un-enrolled him. George Orwell might have something to say about his predicament.
On Thursday, Josh has a meeting with the board in a bid to get back into school.

Here’s what never happened in the hospital during COVID: a doctor sat down next to a patient and said, “You have a choice. We can give you Remdesivir, which killed 53% of the patients in an Ebola trial. It was so bad the trial had to be shut down. And you’ll notice here in Remdesivir’s fact sheet, it says, ‘Not a lot of people have used Remdesivir. Serious and unexpected side effects may happen.’ Or we can give you ivermectin, a safe and effective drug that’s been successfully used for decades, and send you home. Which do you prefer?”
The reason that conversation never happened is that it would have cost the hospital too much money. If the hospital gave you ivermectin and sent you home, the federal government paid the hospital $3,200. If the hospital gave you Remdesivir, the federal government paid the entire hospital bill, plus a 20% bonus. So the hospital executives’ choice was to receive $3,200 or $500,000, which was the average hospital bill. No contest. Patients were going to get Remdesivir — whether they wanted it or not.

Central Banks are not yet satisfied by the raising of interest rates to combat inflation. “Plan B” appears to be raising the level of unemployment to the extent that impoverishment of the middle and lower classes will sufficiently destroy purchasing power, thereby bring down the prices of goods and services. This ignores Friedman’s mantra that inflation is always only a function of money supply while ensuring a cruel and unusual destruction of the lives of millions of hard working people. It also won’t work to bring down inflation so long as they keep printing. I believe the proper word for this is “stagflation”.

Learning Georgia Special Grand Jury Wanted to Indict Him For Questioning State About Election Integrity (VIDEO)

Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) on Friday reacted after learning the Georgia special grand jury that investigated Trump wanted to indict him.
In January 2021 Fulton County Georgia District Attorney Fani Willis requested a special grand jury in her investigation into former President Donald Trump’s efforts to overturn Georgia’s fraudulent 2020 election results.
Fani Willis based her investigation on President Trump’s call with Georgia officials that was later doctored and leaked to the fake news outlet Washington Post. The WaPo published a completely fraudulent text of the call. These phony charges have already been debunked by The Gateway Pundit and others.
In February a Georgia special grand jury that investigated Trump’s effort to challenge the 2020 election recommended issuing multiple indictments after meeting for several months.

At the time, a Fulton County judge only ordered parts of the grand jury report to be released to the public.
On Friday, the entire special grand jury report was released and it revealed the special grand jury recommended charges against 39 people.
The jury recommended charges against Senators Kelly Loeffler, David Perdue and Lindsey Graham.
A regular grand jury ended up indicting President Trump and 18 others last month for speech crimes. The Senators were not charged.
Lindsey Graham said of the news, “This is troubling for the country. We can’t criminalize senators doing their job when they have a constitutional requirement to fulfill.”
“We are opening Pandora’s Box here,” he added.
