  1. I think it was the barons who forced the signing of the Magna Carta, the ‘common folk’ remained common. In the UK ‘common’ remained a term of contempt and derision until well into the 20thC.

  2. I recently had a conversation with a friend about who to vote for, Maxime Bernier or Pierre Poilievre.

My problem with Bernier is not with the man, who is the best, but with time. Voting Bernier gets Dear Leader into office again. We won’t survive another four years of him because we’re going down the drain too fast. At least with Poilievre we may buy a little more time even if he is controlled op. This video says enough right that, if he turns bad, it would give us more fuel for push back, so more time. Wishful thinking maybe, and I know it won’t stop the debate.

    • Poilievre reminds me of DeSantis. Both, overnight, changed their discourse for electoral purposes.

Normally, a political party remains in power for ten years unless its first term is a disaster.

For the upcoming election, it’s going to be tight between Justin and Pierre. I’m still voting for Max in the hope the PPC comes in third place.

The debates might include Max as his party is in 4th place. That will put him in 3rd place as most people are fed up with the NDP.

The importance of 3rd place: the Kingmaker.

      • … here in my riding if people vote for the PPC the Liberals will win … the only choice to prevent that is voting for the Bloc …. !!! …. even voting for the PC is too risky… they got a very low score last time — and it was very tight between the Liberals and the Bloc ( only 2 500 votes more for the Bloc )

    • EB, Thanks for the link. I just read the article. My take …

Internet search suggests average ontario police officer makes a little under $50/hour. Let us round it to $50/hr for simplicity.
      $50/hr * 80hr = $4000

If overtime comes into play (let us say at 1.5x), then this becomes $6000.

So the headline should be … “Canadian cop ordered to perform up to $6000 of unpaid work for making a $50 donation”.

  3. Mr Poilievre absolutely knows what is going on, for he is directly involved in it. The degree to which he says precisely what he thinks you need to hear in order to vote for him, is a most telling feature of his position.
No better than Justin, since they are of a kind.
    TINVOWOOT.

  4. Let’s do what we can to get Max elected in the by-election. Once he is allowed a platform, I am confident he will wake up Canadians. The MSM have been worried about him for a long time, he has been banned like everyone else in this country who speaks the truth. He will be allowed to talk about his views on mass migration, vaccines, WEF, abortion……..where the left climate clowns are taking us. We might end up with a real Conservative member of parliament.

From there – – we could possibly have a Conservative and a pretend Conservative official opposition. YESSSSSS

The Liberals and the NDP have lied to Canadian on so many levels, vaccine safety and efficacy #1 BIG LIE, Climate clowns #2, there is absolutely room for any Canadian supporting WEF #3…….Digital currency, AI…….Throw the bums out, leave them with no party status. Hell no, we will not tolerate freezing Canadians bank accounts, firing people for not getting the jabs and the not allowing them EI, ENOUGH Just do it.

  5. Little decent-looking Pierre boy and his sweet deceptive stories of limited hangout… seem to be meant to keep the trucks (powerful resistance to tyranny) at bay.

Because the cultural and especially the institutional takeover he is talking about is now complete in Canada: the WEF criminals have “penetrated” the government. Turdo and his W_E_F ilk should be in prison now. But no: Pierre legitimizes the Turd by regarding him as his legit counterpart… spreading the Big Lie that one can still vote oneself out of this mess. His function is to buy time for the globalists for their next totalitarian tech-commie power grab (CBDC, 15-minute gulags, stifling of free speech, One Health takeover, etc.).

Pierre is a shill for the enemy strategy that Stephen Coughlin explains that the Left (the primary vehicle of globalist takeover, IMO) focuses your attention on their bygone LoEs, while they have already started shooting their next missiles that can easily hit their unprotected targets that way. So that the resistance always miss the point.

Despicable traitor. Someone should try and track down those who pay him… follow the money.

  6. Trying to po–st it once again. The Sys–tem did not let it through — probably it cought some prohibited keyw–ords. I’ll try and modify those words:

    • Sometimes the firewall lets comments through slowly for one reason or another. Your earlier one posted as well.

      All good.

  7. I am still pissed with Poilievre from his unwillingness to speak out about any of these types of issues prior to February 2022 (i.e. trucker convoy). However, I agree with Johnny, especially about buying some time. I also believe that things would be much worse if we still had O’Toole and for that I am grateful. I have just come around to feeling this way…..faint glimmer of hope.

    • I have never been a lover of strategic voting. Listen to the candidates, what they are saying – – I see Justine, Singh and PP and then I see Max Bernier, I believe he will be our last kick at the can.

The only leader who told the Muslims he would treat them like all other Canadians.

Speaks out about mass migration, vaccines, lockdowns, sex changes, Paris Accord……..Max is a must.

Don’t let the monsters in media, the WHO, WEF collaborators make your decisions. Screw them, vote Max for your maximum freedom. Tired of fence sitting liars, come over to Max Bernier’s camp.

  8. MARCH 2023 – Poilievre – Ramadan mubarak

As the sun sets tonight and Ramadan begins, I wish all Muslims in Canada the best during this holy month.

May your fasts be blessed and your gatherings filled with peace and joy. Ramadan Mubarak.

  9. APRIL 2023 – Poilievre – Eid Mubarak

After a month of fasting and prayer, 1.7 million Muslims across Canada will now come together to give thanks.

To everyone celebrating today, have a happy and blessed Eid.

    Eid Mubarak!

  10. OMG 1.7 million Muslims … that’s a tragedy

Poilievre is even more disgusting and malicious than I thought. Pretending to be the protector of the native culture while s***ing up to islam that is the terminator of cultures. A venomous snake.

  11. Mr. Poilievre is a well-read man and not a fool. Winston Churchill said the first duty of a politician is to get elected.

You have to choose your battles and ones that you think you can win.

It’s a while ’til the election. If Maxine Bernier were running in my riding he would get my vote, he should be in Parliament. But it will depend on the local candidates as to who gets my vote. (Definitely not NDP or Liberal)
