Thanks for the sprinkling Johnny, this peoplekind now finds it hard to look at that little pathetic creature.

        • If there were to be an election in Canada today, Justine would not win says Liberal, Nick Nanos. SHOCKING LOL. Methinks Canadians are tired of the divisive, name calling, 2+2=5, little global puppet.

What about the Deputy Prime Minister, Chrystia Freeland, the board member of the World Economic Forum, is it not a conflict of interest that she sits on the board with other freaks who are pitching One World Government? Is it not treasonous, does she not represent the COUNTRY of CANADA?

De-facto Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs already signed four executive orders just one week into her term.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, Kari Lake recently appealed her historic lawsuit to overturn the highly questionable election, arguing the trial court and Maricopa County Judge Peter Thompson dismissed “explosive findings.”

Moments after she was sworn into office, Hobbs signed the “Protecting Employment Opportunity,” aimed at prohibiting discrimination based on sexual orientation, gender identity, or expression.

This is why brave Republican Arizona Legislators turned their backs on the Hobbs “Democratic Fascism” regime and walked out during Hobbs’ first State of the State address on Monday. State Senator Jake Hoffman later said in a statement that Katie Hobbs’ far-left, woke agenda “elevates her actions to tyrannical.”

On Election Day in Maricopa County, over 50% of tabulators and printers failed the moment that polls opened, causing voters to be turned away from the polls and creating long wait times of four hours or more. According to cybersecurity expert Clay Parikh’s testimony, this was an intentional act aimed at disenfranchising Republican voters who turned out 3:1 for Trump-Endorsed candidates. County Elections officials failed to give an adequate explanation of these failures and seemingly lied under oath in Kari Lake’s recent trial. This and other election catastrophes in Maricopa County possibly stole the election from Kari Lake

De-facto Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs has already signed four executive orders just one week into her term.

The Gateway Pundit reported on Katie Hobbs’ ‘First 100 Days Initiative‘ to bring radical change in her first 100 days as Governor. Alleging attempts to “illegally legislate via executive order fiat in order to advance her woke agenda,” the Arizona Freedom Caucus has announced that they will sue Katie Hobbs for her unconstitutional bypass of the legislature

Hobbs’ radical use of executive authority led brave Republican Arizona Legislators to turn their backs on the Hobbs “Democratic Fascism” regime and walk out during Hobbs’ first State of the State address on Monday. State Senator Jake Hoffman later said in a statement that Katie Hobbs’ far-left, woke agenda “elevates her actions to tyrannical.”

Hoffman and the Arizona Freedom Caucus slammed Hobbs in a statement, after demonstrating their contempt for the “election riddled with violations of Arizona law” and Hobbs’ embrace of “the left’s extreme, woke agenda.”

Countries should consider recommending passengers wear masks on long-haul flights to counter the latest Omicron subvariant of COVID-19, given its rapid spread across the U.S., World Health Organization (WHO) officials said on Tuesday.

In Europe, the XBB.1.5 subvariant is being detected in small but growing numbers, WHO officials said in a press briefing.

Passengers should wear masks in high-risk settings, said WHO’s senior emergency officer for Europe, Catherine Smallwood, adding “this should be a recommendation issued to passengers arriving from anywhere where there is widespread COVID-19 transmission.”

The XBB.1.5 subvariant — the most transmissible Omicron sub-variant that has been detected so far — accounted for 27.6 per cent of COVID-19 cases in the United States for the week ending Jan. 7, U.S. health officials have said.

It remains unclear if XBB.1.5 will cause its own wave of infections around the world. Current vaccines continue to protect against severe symptoms, hospitalization and death, experts say.

    • the babylon bee – Experts Say They Don’t Know What Thing Is Causing Everyone To Suddenly Collapse, But It’s Definitely Not That One Thing

U.S. — Medical experts are absolutely stumped as to what could be causing the recent uptick in healthy, young people everywhere that are suddenly collapsing with heart failure. Despite their uncertainty, experts do feel confident that we can rule out that one thing as the culprit.

“It’s too early to say what could be causing this, but it’s never too early to say what isn’t causing this,” said local expert, Dr. Scott Rufflinger. “This could be caused by anything. But the one thing we know for certain is that it’s definitely not what we’re all thinking that’s behind this — if you know what I mean.

We can go ahead and rule that thing out right now because Science just called us on the phone and told us not to discuss it. We always follow Science.”

According to sources, experts have been working tirelessly around the clock to try and get to the bottom of why so many seemingly perfectly healthy, athletic people are falling over suddenly. “I wish I could point to something in the past year or two that large groups of people were exposed to, or forced into, but nothing comes to mind,” added Dr. Rufflinger. “If only there was one thing all these patients had in common.”

At publishing time, experts said they had narrowed down the list of what most likely was causing these sudden health issues down to: climate change, racism, Christian Nationalism, standing up too quickly, standing up too slowly, and not eating enough bugs.

    • CBC – ‘My body was burning’: Suffering since COVID shots, Gatineau man desperate for relief

      + VIDEO

Tisir Otahbachi developed debilitating skin condition after getting Moderna vaccine in 2021

A Gatineau, Que., man who developed a severe skin condition after receiving a COVID-19 vaccine says he’s ready to give up on Canada’s health-care system and seek treatment abroad.

Mohammed Tisir Otahbachi, 29, received his first dose of the Moderna vaccine on July 15, 2021, at a Walmart pharmacy in Gatineau. Ten days later, small acne-like blisters appeared on his right hand.

Otahbachi, who goes by his middle name, told CBC he had never experienced any kind of skin problem before. He tried a topical cream suggested by a pharmacist, but it didn’t work.

While serious complications from COVID-19 vaccines are rare, Otahbachi had a sneaking suspicion his shot might have had something to do with the rash. Nevertheless, he was eager to receive his second dose and returned to the same pharmacy for another Moderna jab on Aug. 13, 2021.

“Two days after that, like 48 hours later, almost the whole of my body — my hands, arms, my legs, even my back — it was [hit with] the same thing, and it started burning a little bit. There was some pain,” Otahbachi recalled.

“I recognized there is something happening on my body because of the vaccine.”

      Couldn’t find a doctor
Accompanied by his father, Otahbachi, who has no family doctor, went to the Gatineau Hospital. After waiting 23 hours and learning it could be many more, they left.

Otahbachi said he tried every doctor’s office he could find in Gatineau, then began calling medical clinics in Montreal, Mirabel, Terrebonne and even Quebec City, more than 400 kilometres away. None were accepting new patients. Numerous attempts to book an appointment at a local walk-in clinic proved equally fruitless.

By then it was September, and Otahbachi’s skin condition was worsening. He had been working as a mover and Uber driver, but the painful rash that covered much of his body cost him both jobs.

“I couldn’t work because my body was burning. I was not able to touch anything, even the water,” said Otahbachi, who was reduced to washing with baby wipes.

Increasingly desperate, Otahbachi began searching for a doctor in Ontario, where Quebec residents must pay out of pocket for some health-care services.

His wife, Fatima Outaleb, was working from home for a major insurance company, but the couple was expecting a baby and money was tight.

      ‘I was dying’
With a loan from his father, Mohammad Tawfiq, Otahbachi finally managed to get an appointment at a medical centre in Ottawa. He was prescribed a hydrocortisone/anti-fungal cream and tablets used to treat bacterial infections, and referred to a dermatologist. The dermatologist prescribed him antihistamine tablets and more ointment.

None of the medication helped. By that point it was March 2022, more than eight months since Otahbachi’s first vaccine dose.

“At that time I was dying, I needed any solution,” he said. “The pain I was in, you cannot imagine it. I couldn’t sleep [for] many nights, months, weeks … my normal life was done.”

Throughout his ordeal, Otahbachi noticed something else: none of the doctors he had consulted appeared willing to acknowledge any possible link between his vaccination the previous summer and the sudden onset of his skin condition.

One doctor he visited suggested his condition was an allergic reaction to his gloves, or the shampoo he’d been using for years.

“The doctors that I’ve been to, they were very worried and scared to mention or say my condition … is because of the COVID vaccine. They were very worried about that,” he said.

      Severe reactions rare

Moderna acknowledges a “remote chance” that its COVID-19 vaccines will cause severe allergic reactions, including “a bad rash all over your body,” but says such symptoms typically occur within a few minutes of injection.

The Public Health Agency of Canada notes that serious adverse reactions to COVID-19 vaccines are extremely rare, representing just 0.011 per cent of the more than 95 million doses administered in this country as of Dec. 9.

Still, there have been 20 reported cases of erythema multiforme, a skin reaction that can be triggered either by an infection or by some medicines, in people who received the Moderna vaccine.

Other studies have noted “growing evidence” of a link between COVID-19 vaccines and various cutaneous reactions including pruritus (itching), urticaria (a raised, itchy rash), angioedema (swelling) and morbilliform (measles-like) eruptions.

Both Outaleb and Tawfiq told CBC that prior to receiving the COVID-19 vaccine, Otahbachi had never experienced any sort of skin ailment.

      Allergist notes possible link
That spring, Outaleb gave birth to the couple’s first child, Julia, in Winchester, Ont. For pediatric care, they were referred to a family physician in Ingleside, Ont., about 100 kilometres from their home. (Unable to find adequate maternity care near Gatineau, Outaleb had also turned to Ontario.)

On their first visit with their newborn daughter, the doctor, Michael Bensimon, noticed Otahbachi’s blisters.

“[He] said, ‘What’s that on your hands?'” Ohtabachi recalled. “He told me, ‘This is because of the COVID vaccine, yeah?'”

Bensimon referred Otahbachi to Ottawa allergist Antony Ham Pong, who on Aug. 29 provided him with a letter confirming that Otahbachi suffered “a severe blistering, weeping peeling eczematoid skin reaction” shortly after receiving the Moderna vaccine.

“There appears to be a significant temporal relationship to receiving the vaccine and his skin symptoms,” Ham Pong wrote. “While there is no absolute proof that the COVID-19 vaccine caused this condition, the time relationship … strongly suggests that the vaccine played a role in bringing these symptoms on.”

Ham Pong told CBC he has seen cases of hives among other patients who received the Moderna vaccine, but those mostly occurred after booster shots. He said to his knowledge, Otahbachi’s case of chronic dermatitis appears relatively unique.

“You have to have a number of people reporting this to say, OK, there is a link,” Ham Pong said. “From my point of view, we’re trying to manage his condition, whatever the cause of it.”

      Seeking compensation
Armed with that letter, Otahbachi reached out to his MP Greg Fergus and his MNA Mathieu Lévesque, whose offices assisted him in applying to Quebec’s vaccine injury compensation program for financial relief.

It was a long shot. By the end of last March, 125 claims had been filed since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, of which only eight had been evaluated and only three had resulted in payouts.

(It’s not known how many of those claims were related to COVID-19 vaccines, though the program’s administrators acknowledge a spike in applications since the pandemic was declared.)

In late October, Otahbachi received a reply from Quebec’s health ministry informing him that to complete his claim, he’d need to obtain a letter from a physician practising in that province. He was back to square one.

“I was dying for over four or five months to find a doctor in Quebec, and I couldn’t,” he said.

Doug Angus, a professor emeritus at the University of Ottawa’s Telfer School of Management and an expert in health economics and policy, called Otahbachi’s ordeal a “classic example” of a chronic shortcoming of Canada’s health-care system.

“This image that we have of a Canadian health-care system being portable from one province to another province is kind of a fallacy,” Angus said. “It’s frustrating for people who, like this individual, get caught right in the middle of it.”

Otahbachi has now paid hundreds of dollars to consult doctors in Ontario, not including the cost of his prescriptions that aren’t covered by Quebec’s health insurance plan.

Quebec’s health ministry declined CBC’s request for an interview about Otahbachi’s case, but wrote in French in an email that “the declaration of a clinical event related to vaccination … does not constitute a claim under the compensation plan.”

The ministry reiterated that the physician representing the claimant before the medical review committee that assesses claims for compensation “must have a licence to practise in good standing and be a member of the Collège des médecins du Québec.”

Some physicians may be hesitant to draw a link between COVID-19 vaccines and serious medical complications, said Earl Brown, a professor emeritus of virology at the University of Ottawa.

      Diagnosis difficult

Earl Brown, a professor emeritus of virology at the University of Ottawa, said diagnosing such cases can be extremely difficult for physicians.

“Sometimes they don’t know what caused it, and so they don’t feel they can associate it with the vaccine. But you have to be careful you don’t rule things out when you have no reason to rule them out,” he said. “Those are tricky situations, but I think it happens all too often.”

According to Brown, some medical professionals may be extra cautious because they don’t want to fan the flames of the vaccination debate.

“There’s a big nervousness about amplifying negative stories about vaccine,” he said. “People are very careful because the anti-vaxxers will take anything and run with it, whether it’s on-base or off-base.”

Last fall, Ham Pong suggested one more possible option to ease Otahbachi’s suffering: injections of a drug called dupilumab, approved by Health Canada in 2017 under the brand name Dupixent.

The hitch with Dupixent was the cost. At more than $1,000 a shot, and with biweekly doses required for at least a year, Otahbachi was staring at a $30,000 prescription that he couldn’t possibly afford.

While Ham Pong explored the possibility of getting the drug covered for his out-of-province patient, he referred Otahbachi to another allergist at The Ottawa Hospital who was able to at least get him started with samples.

After two injections, Otahbachi’s symptoms have improved considerably but haven’t disappeared entirely. He fears as soon as the free doses run out, the painful rash that has tortured him for well over a year will return.

His faith in Canadian health care shattered, Otahbachi has begun exploring treatment options in Morocco and Turkey.

“Here, actually I feel like … I’m wasting my time, I’m wasting my health, I’m wasting my body. It’s [a] hopeless case,” he said.

Outaleb, still the family’s sole breadwinner, said it’s been heartbreaking to watch her husband’s suffering.

“I really feel sorry for that because he does not deserve it. He’s a great dad, he’s a great husband,” she said. “As a family we’re a victim of what happened. It’s not really fair for a family who are just starting their life to live this.”

Since the end of December, a ‘parade of cyclones’ has swamped California. 9. Since the end of December, a ‘parade of cyclones’ has swamped California. The most powerful in a “relentless parade” of atmospheric rivers continues to pummel California.

The big picture: This latest deadly storm has triggered evacuations and the closure of schools and major roads across California due to the threat of “torrential rain, widespread flooding, rapid water rises, mudslides and landslides with possible debris flows, heavy mountain snow and gusty high winds,” per the National Weather Service.

Authorities called off the search for a 5-year-old boy who was swept away in floodwaters near Paso Robles in central coastal California, as the death toll from the barrage of severe storm systems increased to 14 Monday, AP reports.
On Tuesday morning, severe thunderstorms swept across north-central California, knocking out power to tens of thousands and prompting rare tornado warnings.
More than 16 inches of rain have already fallen in the mountains of Santa Barbara and Ventura Counties, and as much as 7.12 inches in Los Angeles County.

  10. El Chapo’s Son Might Not Face US Justice for Years, If Ever
The U.S. wants Ovidio Guzmán-López, but sources say his extradition will likely be painfully slow and plagued by corruption.
    By Keegan Hamilton

Like father, like son — it’s true in many ways for imprisoned Sinaloa Cartel leader El Chapo and his son Ovidio Guzmán-López, who now faces extradition to the United States after his recent capture by the Mexican military in a chaotic operation.

But while it took less than a year for Mexico to ship the 65-year-old El Chapo (real name: Joaquín Guzmán-Loera) off to the U.S. in January 2017, just a year after Mexican soldiers tracked him down for the final time, the extradition process will likely be different for Ovidio.

Mexican Foreign Minister Marcelo Ebrard has said Ovidio, 32, alleged co-leader of a cartel faction known as Los Chapitos, will need to resolve charges in his native country prior to extradition, and on Friday a Mexican federal judge officially suspended the process.

The wait now could vary from several months to years—or even never—according to lawyers and former U.S. law enforcement officials who’ve been involved in extraditions from Mexico. They described the process as plagued by corruption and painfully slow, especially in cases involving narco suspects with useful information to share with gringo investigators.

Jurors will determine whether Proud Boys leader Enrique Tarrio and four other members of the group, decorated Army Veteran Joe Biggs, Ethan Nordean, Marine Corp veteran Dominic Pezzolla, and Zachary Rehl, will be convicted of sedition and serve a 20-year prison sentence.

Judge Kelly has interviewed approximately 120 potential jury members. 16. reuters –Japan minister calls for new world order to counter rise of authoritarian regimes

WASHINGTON–Japan’s trade and industry minister said on Thursday post-Cold War free trade and economic inter-dependence had bolstered authoritarian regimes and the United States and like-minded democracies should counter them with a “new world order.”

“Authoritarian countries have amassed tremendous power, both economically and militarily,” Japan’s Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Yasutoshi Nishimura said in a speech at the Center for Strategic and International Studies in Washington.

“We must rebuild a world order based on the fundamental values of freedom, democracy, human rights and the rule of law,” he added.

Nishimura spoke ahead of a visit to Washington next week by Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida for talks expected to cover issues including Ukraine, North Korea and China’s tensions with Taiwan. That summit will be preceded by talks between defense and foreign ministers of the two countries.

Kishida said this week he would discuss Tokyo’s new security policy after Washington’s key ally in countering China’s growing might in Asia last month unveiled its biggest military build-up since World War Two.

Nishimura’s call to arms comes amid growing concern after Russia’s invasion of Ukraine that Beijing and Moscow will use their control over energy resources and sway over manufacturing supply chains to stop the United States, Japan, Europe and others from opposing their diplomatic and military goals.

Leaders from the Group of Seven industrialized nations are likely to discuss how to respond to economic coercion when they meet in May in the Japanese city of Hiroshima, Nishimura said.

“We might need to make preparations to identify the choke points of countries wanting to engage in coercion and then take countermeasures if necessary,” he said.

Nishimura warned that democracies need to protect their industrial power and guard against the loss of technologies, particularly those that could be diverted to military use.

He urged that U.S.-Japan cooperation extend beyond semiconductors to biotechnology, artificial intelligence and quantum science.

He also promised to work more closely with Washington on export controls, although he did not say whether Tokyo would match the sweeping restriction on exports of chip manufacturing equipment imposed by U.S. President Joe Biden’s administration in October.

“It is … absolutely imperative for us to reinforce our cooperation in the area of export controls,” he said. “We will implement strict export controls grounded in international cooperation while engaging closely in the exchange of views with the United States and other relevant countries.”

Nishimura met with U.S. Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo ahead of his speech. A Commerce Department statement said they discussed the importance of working together on research and development and export controls.

The statement said they were joined by executives from International Business Machines Corp and Japan’s Rapidus Corp who shared an overview of their collaboration on semiconductor R&D.

The Biden administration said in October it planned to ink a deal with allies in the near-term to bring them on board with sweeping new U.S. rules curbing China’s access to sophisticated chipmaking tools in a bid to slow its technological and military advances.

Nishimura is to meet with U.S. Trade Representative Katherine Tai on Friday to sign a memorandum for the launch of a task force to promote human rights and international labor standards in supply chains, the U.S. Trade Department said.

Canada will buy a U.S.-made National Advanced Surface-to-Air Missile System (NASAMS) for Ukraine, a statement from Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s office said after a meeting with U.S. President Joe Biden in Mexico City on Tuesday.

Trudeau and Biden are being hosted by Mexico for a North American leaders’ meeting and Trudeau told Biden about the purchase during separate discussions the two had on supporting Ukraine in its war with Russia.

“This is the first Canadian donation of an air defense system to Ukraine,” Defense Minister Anita Anand said on Twitter after the announcement.

Air defense systems are Ukraine’s top priority, she said her Ukrainian counterpart, Oleksii Reznikov, told her in a phone conversation held earlier on Tuesday.

The NASAMS is a short- to medium-range ground-based air defense system that protects against drone, missile, and aircraft attack, Anand said.

The donation has a value of about C$406 million ($302.6 million), and is in addition to the C$500 million Canada promised to Ukraine in November, according to a defense ministry statement. Since February, Canada has committed more than C$1 billion in military assistance to Ukraine.

Trudeau and Biden also “discussed their shared commitment to the defense of North America, including Canada’s acquisition of F-35 fighter jets for the Royal Canadian Air Force,” according to the statement from the prime minister’s office.

Canada finalized a deal to buy 88 F-35 fighter jets from U.S. defense company Lockheed Martin Corp on Monday in a C$19 billion project to replace its aging fleet of fighter aircraft.

Biden does believe in walls when he personally benefits, not so much other Americans. The Daily Mail revealed yesterday that construction of a big, beautiful wall around his luxurious vacation home in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware began just last week.

Last year, Joe Hoft broke the story of the Biden Crime Family applying for a variance to build a wall around their vacation home

Biden has the audacity to build a personal wall while millions of illegal aliens stream across the U.S.-Mexico border. Because of Biden’s lawless border policies, thousands of Americans are dying from fentanyl overdoses and getting killed by illegals. Social services are also in dire straits due to providing care for these illegal migrants.

The hero customer who shot and killed an armed robber at a Houston taco joint last week has been ordered to face a grand jury by District Attorney Kim Ogg, the Soros-funded prosecutor who appears to have let the career criminal he put down out on bond.

A grand jury will decide whether an armed taqueria customer, who shot and killed a robber last week in southwest Houston and is now being hailed a hero, will be criminally charged.

Investigators said the 46-year-old customer, who police have not identified because he’s not under arrest, turned himself in and is cooperating with detectives.

His lawyer put out the following statement:

Ukraine’s Soledar town falls to Wagner group — Russian media

Kiev says its forces are still holding on to positions in eastern mining town of Soledar, withstanding assaults by wave after wave of Russian soldiers and mercenaries, as fighting enters its 321st day.

‘Urban fighting’ escalates in Ukraine’s Soledar town

The head of Russia’s mercenary group Wagner has said his forces had taken control of the eastern Ukrainian mining town of Soledar but that fighting continued, Russian news agencies reported.

Ukraine had said earlier in the day that its forces were still holding out despite a Russian onslaught.

“Wagner units took control of the entire territory of Soledar. A cauldron has been formed in the centre of the city in which urban fighting is going on,” Wagner head Yevgeny Prigozhin said in a statement cited by Russian agencies.

“The number of prisoners will be announced tomorrow,” he added, giving no further details.

NYT – Russian Mercenaries Claim to Take Embattled Eastern Town

The claim that Soledar had fallen to soldiers-for-hire working for Wagner Group could not be verified. The assault on the city is part of Russia’s broader push in the area around the city of Bakhmut.

The founder of a Russian mercenary force leading Moscow’s assault on the town of Soledar in eastern Ukraine claimed late on Thursday that his troops had seized control of the town, according to the Russian state news agency TASS.

The claim that Soledar had fallen to soldiers-for-hire working for Wagner Group could not be verified. Ukraine’s defense ministry said on Twitter just before midnight local time that Russia was still trying to capture the town. The assault is part of Russia’s broader push in the area around the city of Bakhmut that Moscow sees as important to achieving its goal of occupying all of Ukraine’s eastern Donbas region.

If true, the fall of Soledar, a relatively small municipality, would be Russia’s first significant victory in months, since Ukraine regained momentum with its capture of the Kharkiv region in September and then the city of Kherson in November, successes of far greater magnitude that changed the course of the war.

The entrepreneur who started the Wagner Group, Yevgeny V. Prigozhin, maintained in a post on the Telegram messaging app that his troops had control, though he added that urban battles were still being fought in the town.

In his nightly address on Tuesday, President Volodymyr Zelensky of Ukraine thanked the troops defending Soledad. “Today, I would like to pay special tribute to the warriors of the 46th separate airmobile brigade for their bravery and steadfastness in the defense of Soledar!” he said.

How a tiny, salt-mining town with a prewar population of 10,000 people became a focus of such a sustained assault by Wagner’s forces has been an open question. In his overnight address on Monday, President Zelensky of Ukraine asked, “What did Russia want to gain there?”

The most critical factor is perhaps not what Russian forces hope to gain in Soledar, but rather what Mr. Prigozhin and his mercenaries fighting there have to gain in terms of reputation. In Bakhmut, the Wagner Group, a private military contracting company that has recruited prisoners into its ranks, has become the main force leading the offensive for Russia, and the fighting has become bloodier.

Before the emergence of the Wagner Group’s claims on Tuesday, Britain’s defense ministry said in its daily intelligence update that Russian forces and the Wagner Group were likely now in control of most of Soledar after intense fighting over the past four days, The capture of the city, which is about six miles north of the city of Bakhmut, was likely to be part of “an effort to envelop Bakhmut from the north, and to disrupt Ukrainian lines of communication,” the update said.

In his address on Monday, Mr. Zelensky said that the fighting in Soledar was “extremely difficult” for Ukrainian forces, but that their resilience had “gained additional time and additional power for Ukraine.” “Everything is completely destroyed — there is almost no life left,” he said.

The Ukrainian leader also said that thousands of fighters on Russia’s side had been killed there. “The whole land near Soledar is covered with the corpses of the occupiers and scars from the strikes,” he said. “This is what madness looks like.”

A spokesman for the eastern group of Ukraine’s army, Serhiy Cherevatyi, said on national television on Tuesday that Russian artillery had struck Soledar 86 times over the past day. He said that the situation was “very challenging.”

The tactics employed by the Wagner Group have resulted in a high number of casualties. In recent days, reporters for The New York Times embedded with a Ukrainian drone crew on the front line saw the bodies of Russian fighters scattered across open ground in the area around Bakhmut. Images and videos on Ukrainian social media in recent days also appear to have come from these aerial reconnaissance missions and show similar scenes.

Mr. Prigozhin, a caterer and businessman who is a close associate of President Vladimir V. Putin of Russia, is thought to want a victory in Bakhmut to boost his own political standing at home. The Institute for the Study of War, a Washington-based research group, noted in an analysis on Monday that Mr. Prigozhin “continues to use reports of Wagner Group success in Soledar to bolster the Wagner Group’s reputation as an effective fighting force.”

Mr. Prigozhin has emphasized that the group is the only Russian force fighting in Soledar, although Ukrainian officials and the Russian military say that Wagner is not the only group fighting for the city on Moscow’s behalf.

Some Ukrainian messaging around the battle for Soledar on Tuesday appeared to suggest that losing control of the city to Russian forces would not be a major setback. Mr. Zelensky emphasized the importance of his forces’ broader goal of retaking the eastern Donbas region.

“The result of this difficult and long battle will be the liberation of our entire Donbas,” he said in his overnight address.

The larger battle is the fight for Bakhmut. For Russia, capturing it would be the most significant success in months.

    Truth Social:

The amount was 54 Million Dollars that the Biden Think Tank received from China. That’s a lot of money. They saw the Classified Documents

The Penn Biden Center is affiliated with the University of Pennsylvania.

Millions have been donated from China to the University of Pennsylvania. Between 2014 and 2019 $54.6 million went from China to the University – most of these donations came after the Biden Center was announced.

A lot of those donations were “anonymous.”

    The New York Post reported(2022):

A government watchdog is demanding the US attorney probing Hunter Biden in Delaware investigate tens of millions in anonymous donations from China to the University of Pennsylvania, where an academic center is named for his father, President Biden.

The Ivy League college raked in a total of $54.6 million from 2014 through June 2019 in donations from China, including $23.1 million in anonymous gifts starting in 2016, according to public records.

Most of the anonymous donations came after the university announced in February 2017 that it would create the Penn Biden Center for Diplomacy and Global Engagement. Joe Biden, whose term as vice president had just ended, was to lead the center and was also named a professor at the university.

The Ivy League university received $15.8 million in anonymous Chinese gifts that year, including one eye-popping $14.5 million donation in May 2018, records show.

    Gaetz shared:

Well the whole sum of this movement was to ensure that never again would be forced to take a vote on something like this omnibus legislation. And I actually think this will make Kevin McCarthy stronger as a speaker because in negotiating with the Senate he’ll be able to say, I’m sorry the House rules don’t allow us to consider things that aren’t germane.

The new rules will also make it difficult to pass a budget because it has to be a balanced budget. The House going forward will have to make tough decisions on what to spend money on.
