Tanks before banks? But don’t they use primarily digital currency? I don’t get it. Can you stop a bank run this way? Most people seem pretty calm and are just taking video. Terrible terrible quality video, but that is what they are doing nonetheless.
Recently there were stories about Chinese people refusing to pay their home mortgages because some policy shift had eaten up more equity on their homes than they owed. So in protest, many Chinese nationals stopped paying the mortgage. Could this be connected? If anyone has a clue what this is please leave a comment. At this point I would believe it was the 766th tank battalion in Beijing all going to cash their paycheques before a holiday weekend. We also don’t KNOW that is a bank. It could be a tank muffler repair place for all we know.
