Reader’s Links for July 22, 2021

Each day at just after midnight Eastern, a post like this one is created for contributors and readers of this site to upload news links and video links on the issues that concern this site. Most notably, Islam and its effects on Classical Civilization, and various forms of leftism from Soviet era communism, to postmodernism and all the flavours of galloping statism and totalitarianism such as Nazism and Fascism which are increasingly snuffing out the classical liberalism which created our near, miraculous civilization the West has been building since the time of Socrates.

This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

This is the new Samizdat. We must use it while we can.

    M. Apologies for the length but I think that he has a point WRT the USA now and history is full of such.

And yet, one could ask, what constitutes a monarchy? Must it be the traditional construct of a single individual holding court with sceptre and crown…. Or could a monarchy take a far more sinister, stealth-like form? Could there be those who abdicate their oaths of office and thereby secretly pursue policies and actions that avoid the sunlight of public scrutiny?

Or could a monarchy be the abdication of authority to those who were never elected to serve in that position? Or maybe they have left office but still exert enormous influence – even control – over foreign and domestic decisions made by the executive branch?

Could we, in effect, be living with a monarch and not even know it?

Depending on your definition of “monarchy,” the scenarios are chilling. Like the experience of George III, would those close to power seek to advance their own political agenda at the expense of anyone and everyone? Would social media, tuned to the ideology of their corporate owners, actually dictate the nation’s agenda? Would a federal budget be so loaded with pork barrel deficit spending that it destroys the nation’s economic future? Would control of America’s nuclear arsenal actually be in the hands of a constitutionally authorized commander in chief?

History records that it was a “mad” monarch, King George III, who lost the American colonies so very long ago. British researchers have since studied his scribbled notes, the diaries of his advisors, and his royal decrees to suggest he suffered from possible psychiatric illness such as bipolar disorder.

    Fortunately, America has no monarch.

We are taught from our earliest days in school that our government is comprised of three separate and equal branches. The idea of a monarch, above the law, immune from scrutiny and without accountability to anyone is an attack on the very foundation of our democracy. Americans would take to the ramparts once more if we were threatened with such a form of government.

And yet, one could ask, what constitutes a monarchy?

Must it be the traditional construct of a single individual holding court with sceptre and crown. Must it be an obvious dictator issuing orders behind a squad of bodyguards? Or could a monarchy take a far more sinister, stealth-like form? Could there be those who abdicate their oaths of office and thereby secretly pursue policies and actions that avoid the sunlight of public scrutiny?

Or could a monarchy be the abdication of authority to those who were never elected to serve in that position? Or maybe they have left office but still exert enormous influence – even control – over foreign and domestic decisions made by the executive branch?

Once again, history reflects on what happens when a monarch cedes authority. When King George III would retreat to a distant palace to recover from one his bouts, researchers say, London power-brokers were thrown into crisis. Those who sought to fill the power vacuum included the King’s son, with whom historians say he had a miserable relationship. With a diminished monarch, the knives were out for power, policy, and position.
Of course, in Washington today we will assume we don’t have a monarch with diminished abilities.

    But what if we did?
Could we, in effect, be living with a monarch and not even know it?

Depending on your definition of “monarchy,” the scenarios are chilling. Like the experience of George III, would those close to power seek to advance their own political agenda at the expense of anyone and everyone? Would social media, tuned to the ideology of their corporate owners, actually dictate the nation’s agenda? Would a federal budget be so loaded with pork barrel deficit spending that it destroys the nation’s economic future? Would control of America’s nuclear arsenal actually be in the hands of a constitutionally authorized commander in chief?
It is the stuff of national nightmares.

Historians speak of the “Madness of King George III,” as if it were a distant footnote in the history of a nation that once had an empire. Perhaps. Perhaps.

    • He is right a Monarchy can work in many ways besides the one we see in history, just as a feudal system doesn’t have to be called a feudal system. What is the difference between the Feudal system that was in Czarist Russia and the system that the Communists set up? The same question is also true of Communist China, the Party, the Feudal Lords owns everything including the lives of the subjects. This is one of the reasons that the CCP is so arrogant about the organ harvesting of people who oppose them. Everything in Communist China belongs to the feudal overlords.

The Shadow Monarchy that applies to most if not all Western Nations (although Canada, France and Germany aren’t shadow) thinks that all money and property belongs to the Oligarchy (Feudal Lords) that run the nation. Our struggle is one with the wanna be Feudal Overlords so we can regain our freedom while they are pushing to acquire more power over and control of the populations of their nations. The one world socialist government doesn’t have to be proclaimed as a one world socialist government or even as a one world government.

    M. This beautifully illustrates the limited cognitive function in most, if not all, leftists. BEWARE if you read the addendum below as it in quite unpleasant ,if factual, and it may return.

First They Came For The Statues… Protesters Demand Wealthy MP Pays Up For Family’s Slave Trade Past

Protesters demanded yesterday that a Conservative MP should hand over his 621-acre sugar plantation to the people of Barbados as compensation for his family’s 200 years of slave owning and trading on the island. Richard Drax, the MP for Dorset South, has said the role of his ancestors was “deeply, deeply regrettable” but resists demands for reparations.

As part of this year’s Tolpuddle Festival, a rally organised by Stand Up to Racism, Dorset, at the gates of the Drax family estate highlighted the family’s historic role in slavery. The festival celebrates the Tolpuddle Martyrs, poorly paid farm workers, who were transported in 1834 for organising trade union activities.

Kinda ironic that the Tolpuddle Martyrs were white guys deported to Oz.

    M. As an addendum One of the standing sneers (especially from muslims) at Australia is that it was “home to convicts” and therefore all are ancestors of such. When you can see they would hang a starving child or adult for stealing something worth over 5 shillings then (or 40US$ now) you can see why there were so many convicts.
Why this happened was because the US revolution had made the dumping of convicts there, an ongoing process almost from the start(ie > 100 years), clearly impossible. I do not all of the details about Canada but I gather than transportation of convicts there was reduced then ceased as many just fled south.
( read the below, ONLY if you have strong stomach..

The common people everywhere, just like now, were always deemed “worthless trash” and hanging them in public was great entertainment ( THE source of the Saturday Matinee) for the masses (and the elite who always managed a good window). Hanging can kill in many ways: if a drop is used it can behead or break the neck and cause asphyxiation: if you are unconscious from the fracture all well and good but if not, you gasp away your life.
If no drop, then there are three ways:
    1) throttling…fairly uncommon but still possible and like any asphyxiation, unpleasant;
    2) carotid compression which is usually the way and which you just lose consciousness rather peacefully( I have been strangled unconscious and I can confirm this);
    3) however the “piece de resistance”? of the hangman, and the source of the infamous “Well hung! executioner” was in stagnant venous congestion, Here you had to have someone with a low weight and starved children and adults were excellent. The rope could not compress the carotids but it could the jugulars and so blood accumulated in the head (bulging eyes, swollen tongue etc.). Eventually and very slowly the brain lost oxygen and the victim would “dance” in an attempt to release the compression but just made it worse. It could take an hour but usually 10-20mins. If male the victim would develop a huge erection (function of the stagnant congestion) and hence the cheers and clapping as the above “praise” was made.
I wont discuss decapitation as it can never be as quick as they say and there is proof.

  3. Cetin Gören, turkish-dutch “drugs baron” fled from dutch authorities in 2016. He regrets this move, now that a turkish prosecutor demands a prison sentence of 1482 years:

The Schiedam drug lord Çetin G. regrets his flight to Turkey. One of his four lawyers in Ankara reports. G. was sentenced to twelve years in prison in the Netherlands, but escaped by cutting his ankle bracelet. The Turkish prosecutor is now demanding 1482 years in prison against the Schiedammer, who believed himself to be inviolable in his homeland.

The demand is actually against mr Gören and his associate Nejat Da?:

    Some background:

Profile of Turkish drug boss Cetin Gören, one of Europe’s most wanted drug lords
In March of 2007, police in Brazil suspected him of involvement in the smuggling of the party drug ecstasy, along with the Dutchman Eric Adrian Mook, the Libian national Wassin Beyhod, and the Turkish national Mahmet Sait Mavi. Mook was caught with 2.8 kilograms of ecstasy in his luggage and began cooperating with authorities, pointing them towards the other suspects. The drugs were smuggled from Amsterdam in the Netherlands via Frankfurt in Germany to Brazil.
Gören was also the suspected mastermind in the smuggling of 15,000 kilograms of cocaine. The investigation into the shipment took two years and turned into one of the largest investigations of its kind. In October 2012, police seized 8,000 kilos of coke in the port of Antwerp in Belgium. The drugs were hidden inside a container packed with bananas from Ecuador. Police discovered the shipment during an investigation into a corrupt customs agent named Tim Deelen. The name of notorious crime lord Samir Bouyakhrichan was also dropped as one of the gangsters who participated in this piece of business.
On June 30, 2020, police in Turkey arrested Gören in what that country’s minister of the interior, Süleyman Soylu, dubbed “the most important anti-narcotics operation in the history of Turkey”. Over 60 people were arrested, including Gören, who had been a fugitive for several years.

Pulling a Hillary: As VP, Biden used private email account to send gov’t info to Hunter

    By K. Walker

If you thought Hillary Clinton had cornered the market on using a personal email account to conduct government business, think again. The website Just the News reports that Joe Biden used an unsecured email address to send government information to his Hunter and other people during his stint as vice president under Barack Obama.

Investigative journalists John Solomon and Natalia Mittelstadt note having obtained messages from Hunter Biden’s laptop that show that his father used a private email address to forward information to his “globetrotting, foreign-deal-making son Hunter.” The messages, sometimes signed “Dad,” were sent from the email account

Maritime migration from Cuba to South Florida has come to a mysterious halt over the past few weeks, during what was expected to be the busiest period of migration in four years, the Miami Herald reported.

For about the past 10 days, U.S. officials with the Coast Guard have not come across any person from Cuba in the Keys or anywhere else in South Florida by sea or land, the Herald reported. Similarly, the U.S. Border has not run into any Cuban migrants who’ve landed in South Florida since July 12.

This is a shift from months prior, where officials were encountering multiple groups weekly, if not daily. The Coast Guard has stopped 554 people traveling from Cuba at sea this year, compared to the previous fiscal year where they only stopped 49, The Miami Herald reported.

  7. Gartner Predicts By 2025 Cyber Attackers Will Have Weaponized Operational Technology Environments to Successfully Harm or Kill Humans
    6-7 minutes

By 2025, cyber attackers will have weaponized operational technology (OT) environments to successfully harm or kill humans, according to Gartner, Inc.

Attacks on OT – hardware and software that monitors or controls equipment, assets and processes – have become more common. They have also evolved from immediate process disruption such as shutting down a plant, to compromising the integrity of industrial environments with intent to create physical harm. Other recent events like the Colonial Pipeline ransomware attack have highlighted the need to have properly segmented networks for IT and OT.

“In operational environments, security and risk management leaders should be more concerned about real world hazards to humans and the environment, rather than information theft,” said Wam Voster, senior research director at Gartner. “Inquiries with Gartner clients reveal that organizations in asset-intensive industries like manufacturing, resources and utilities struggle to define appropriate control frameworks.”

  8. Greece: Water cannon, tear gas deployed against protesters challenging vaccine mandate in Athens

Police deployed water cannons and tear gas against a gathering of over a thousand COVID-19 policy protesters outside the Hellenic Parliament in Athens on Wednesday.

New legislation submitted by the Greek government is set to make vaccination against COVID-19 mandatory for employees at nursing homes and care facilities.

Greece has seen a recent increase in COVID-19 infections, with the authorities having announced a curfew on the island of Mykonos, a tourism hotspot, in the middle of the popular summer holidays season.

Thousands of protesters also marched against the vaccine mandate through the city of Thessaloniki, albeit without heavy police involvement.

According to the latest data compiled by the Johns Hopkins University Coronavirus Resource Centre, Greece has seen a total of 466,441 cases of COVID-19, with 12,846 related deaths.

A total of 5.5 million people (52.74 percent of the population) in Greece have received at least one dose of a vaccine against COVID-19, with 4.69 million people (45 percent of the population) having completed a full vaccination cycle by 20 July, as per information compiled by Our World in Data.

[…]Suffolk police said the 1,500-pound bull escaped from a Manorville farm by breaking through a fence. Customers called it a slaughterhouse busy with Muslims practicing the ritual of livestock sacrifice in observance of the holiday Eid.

“We have to slaughter cows. It’s like a festival. We eat it with the family,” said Shiful Islam of Brooklyn.

Animal rights activists joined the search, sealing a deal with the owner that when found, the bull on the run will be given to a sanctuary, its life spared.

“He was scheduled to be slaughtered for animal sacrifice today. There is no need to kill an animal for sacrifice. He is terrified. He is running for his life right now just like you or I would if someone was trying to murder us,” said John DiLeonardo, president of Long Island Orchestrating for Nature.

Suffolk police and the rescue groups said they will continue to search until the bull is found, for everyone’s safety.

  13. Sen. Paul: Fauci Is Example Of ‘Elitist’ Left Who Think ‘Common Man’s Too Stupid’ To Make Own Decisions
    Jon Brown
    3-4 minutes

Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) explained during a Tuesday interview why he believes Dr. Anthony Fauci epitomizes the condescending attitude the liberal elite hold toward the average person.

Just hours after his tense clash with Fauci on Capitol Hill, during which he accused the nation’s top infectious diseases expert of lying to Congress, Paul told podcast host Brad Polumbo (video below) that he doubts the sincerity of Fauci’s motives more than he did at the start of the pandemic.

“In the beginning of this, I said repeatedly that I didn’t question his motives, that I thought his motives were good. I still think his motives are good, but I actually am starting to question the sincerity of what he’s doing, and that it’s not all for the betterment of mankind,” Paul said.

Citing information in the trove of Fauci’s private emails that Buzzfeed made public in June, Paul said he believes Fauci has “been covering his ass” since late July 2020.

  14. House Republicans push impeachment resolution against David Chipman as decision looms for moderate Senate Dems
Dems Tester, Manchin, Hickenlooper, Sinema, King all remain undecided on controversial ATF nominee

FIRST ON FOX – Some House Republicans are pushing a resolution to impeach David Chipman, President Biden’s nominee to run the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) – even before he’s been confirmed by the Senate.

The effort, which is more political messaging than anything, is led by Rep. Matt Rosendale, R-Mont. It comes as at least five moderate Democrats remain undecided on the controversial nominee with a history of working for major gun control groups, and as the timing for Chipman’s final confirmation remains unclear.

The White House and a spokesperson for Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., did not respond to requests for comment Wednesday about when the Chipman nomination could be brought up for a vote. This is despite the fact that Chipman advanced out of the Senate Judiciary Committee on a party-line vote nearly a month ago.

  15. Pelosi bars Trump allies from Jan. 6 probe; GOP vows boycott
    7-8 minutes

WASHINGTON (AP) — House Speaker Nancy Pelosi on Wednesday rejected two Republicans tapped by House GOP leader Kevin McCarthy to sit on a committee investigating the Jan. 6 Capitol insurrection, a decision the Republican denounced as “an egregious abuse of power.”

McCarthy said the GOP won’t participate in the investigation if Democrats won’t accept the members he appointed.

Pelosi cited the “integrity” of the probe in refusing to accept the appointments of Indiana Rep. Jim Banks, picked by McCarthy to be the top Republican on the panel, or Ohio Rep. Jim Jordan. The two men are outspoken allies of former President Donald Trump, whose supporters laid siege to the Capitol that day and interrupted the certification of President Joe Biden’s win. Both of them voted to overturn the election results in the hours after the siege.

Democrats have said the investigation will go on whether the Republicans participate or not, as Pelosi has already appointed eight of the 13 members — including Republican Rep. Liz Cheney of Wyoming, a Trump critic — and that gives them a bipartisan quorum to proceed, according to committee rules.

Pelosi said she had spoken with McCarthy and told him that she would reject the two names.

After Katharine Lee got her COVID-19 vaccine, she noticed an unusual side effect: a heavier period. She shared her observation with a fellow anthropologist, Kathryn Clancy, who had the same reaction. Clancy posted her findings on Twitter and the tweet went viral––apparently, they weren’t alone in this: thousands of people were experiencing similar side effects from the vaccination. The two biological anthropologists went on to launch a research study into the effects the COVID-19 vaccines might have on the menstrual cycle. Early findings: even some people who had aged out of periods, or were on hormone-suppressing drugs, experienced sudden, heavier periods.

  17. DAILY MAIL – Muslim public masturbator who ejaculated on young women at music festivals is SACKED from his $120,000 high-flying finance job – but his wife is still by his side

High-flying finance specialist sacked after committing a series of sex offences
Muhammad ‘Bilal’ Khan, 40, pleaded guilty to ejaculating on women at festivals
Court heard the father-of-two had made $120,000 a year as a senior employee

A high-flying finance specialist who ejaculated on a young woman at a music festival has been fired from his job where he was earning $120,000 a year.

Muhammad ‘Bilal’ Khan, 40, pleaded guilty to three counts of sexual touching and one count of indecent assault in Melbourne’s Magistrates Court on July 15.

Khan appeared in court again on Tuesday where his lawyer confirmed he had been fired from his job at financial services and insurance company AB Phillips.

The father-of-two had been a senior employee at the company until he was let go on Monday, after it was revealed he had committed a series of sex offences.

The court previously heard the serial public masturbator had carried out a spate of vile attacks on women from 2015 to 2019, after he migrated from Pakistan in 2009.

On Tuesday, Khan appeared in court via video link sitting next to his two children and his wife, who has remained by her husband’s side throughout the ordeal.

Acting as a character reference, his wife described as him as a ‘hard worker’ and a ‘devoted father and husband’.

His lawyer Amelia Beech said her client is the ‘breadwinner’ of the family and was feeling ‘enormous stress and distress’ after being terminated from his job.

She previously said her client had been concerned that if a conviction was recorded he would lose his lucrative job.

The Keilor man’s first accusation came from a young woman who attended the St Kilda Festival on February 8, 2015.

A police statement of facts reads that the woman ‘felt something warm on her back and turned around to see Khan buttoning up his pants’ reported.

Investigators launched a public appeal in the wake of the incident to identify the perpetrator, but it would be several years before Khan would finally be identified.

On February 8, 2017, two years after the incident at the festival, the finance specialist struck again, this time ejaculating on a woman on a tram.

The victim told police she had been travelling from Flinders Street to the Royal Melbourne Hospital when a man touched her leg and ejaculated on her dress.

On March 4, 2018, Khan attended the Brunswick Festival in Melbourne and again ejaculated on a female stranger.

The victim had felt something wet and saw he had ejaculated on her top and jeans.

While the woman could not identify who the masturbator was, she handed over her clothes for police to take a DNA sample.

Just over a year later on October 18, 2019, Khan was captured on CCTV approaching a woman from behind at the Carlton Club, a popular Melbourne nightclub.

The vision shows him touching her buttocks and dragging his finger up her legs.

The father-of-two lost his job as an IT lead at Bendigo’s Kangan Institute in October 2019 after his sex offences charges meant he failed a working with children check.

The court previously heard that before Khan moved to Australia ‘his relationship with women was very different’.

His lawyer said he found it ‘overwhelming’ moving to Melbourne after having limited contact with the opposite sex at university in Pakistan.

Magistrate Harnett said she plans to sentence Khan to a community corrections order under the condition he completes an offence-specific treatment program.

She said the treatment would benefit both him and the wider community.

He is due to be sentenced on Tuesday next week.

  18. Capitol Police Get Massive Military-Grade Gift from DOD
    4-5 minutes

We’ve all heard it said, the January 6 Capitol incursion was our nation’s darkest day of the modern era – as if hundreds of people died, the government was flipped on its head, or a near-earth-ending event took place. At least that’s the political left’s version.

As a result, literal walls and gates were put around the Capitol Complex for months on end, security was increased in just about every building in Washington, and private security teams hired for Democratic congressional members en masse.

Now here we are, some six months after the “attack,” and the U.S. Capitol Police or USCP have finally taken down the walls, fences, and barricades that made our government’s seat look like that of a war-torn country’s.

But don’t think for a second that means they are easing up on security. In fact, if anything, they are only increasing it.

According to a news release both from the USCP and the Department of Defense, new methods, providing the Capitol with an “intelligence-based protective agency,” are now being deployed.

So what does this mean exactly?

Well, for starters, it means that USCP is going to begin expanding, including setting up offices outside of Washington. Yes, you read that right. The Capitol Police, whose job it is to ensure the Capitol is kept safe, will begin constructing off-site offices as if being farther away from the Capitol is going to somehow help.

But if that seems a bit excessive, just wait. It gets better.

In addition to moving officers out of Washington, the USCP is also going to be transforming itself into another “intelligence agency,” complete with high-tech surveillance systems and equipment on loan to them directly from the DoD.

According to a news release given last month, “Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin today approved a request from the U.S. Capitol Police (USCP) for the Department of Defense (DoD) to loan surveillance systems to allow the USCP to improve U.S. Capitol security. Under this arrangement, the DoD will provide eight Persistent Surveillance Systems Ground – Medium (PSSG-M) units, on a reimbursable basis, for a period of one year.”

Naturally, the Army has been assigned to install these systems and then teach USCP how to use them effectively.

This means the USCP will now be equipped with things like night vision, high-tech listening and recording devices, spy software, etc.

The question is, what is all of this really needed for?

The incursion on the Capitol building was the first of its kind, resulting in a few protesters breaking in, taking some pictures, and causing some property damage. Some of it was even done with Capitol Police permission. Only one life was lost due to the attack and was the unfortunate incident of an officer’s bad aim.

And since then, there has been nothing. Nothing happened when Biden was inaugurated as the Democrats predicted. Nothing happened when the new Congress met for the first time.

And yet, apparently, if the Democratic left and USCP are to be believed, there are swarms of conservatives and American patriots out there just waiting to swarm the gate and kill everyone inside…

This means that all of this increased security, the thousands of dollars already spent on protection details, new ‘intelligence-based systems are all to simply support a political narrative that has done nothing but prove to be false.

In the USCP’s new release on the upcoming changes to their department, they made sure to mention the two officers’ lives who were lost shortly after the incursion, implying that the changes are necessary to prevent other similar losses from happening.

However, they fail to mention that both officers’ deaths had nothing to with the incursion or even violence, after all. Officer Brian Sicknick died from natural causes, according to a medical examiner’s report. And Howie Liebengood committed suicide several days afterward.

And yet, their names have now been forever used as nothing more than a political stunt meant to incite fear and panic. Oh’ and so the Democratic left can find new ways to spy on Americans.

Because one more politicized intelligence agency is just what we need…

  19. 2013 – Gain-of-Function Research on HPAI H5N1 Viruses: Welcome and Introductory Remarks

FAUCI ======> go to the 14:00 mark

    • The presentations in the opening session will set the stage for the Workshop by briefly highlighting the scientific, public health, biosafety, and biosecurity issues surrounding HPAI H5N1 research that increases transmissibility, pathogenicity, and/or host range; introducing the concept that HHS has developed a draft Framework for guiding funding decisions about proposed HPAI H5N1 GOF research; and noting that the meeting participants will have the opportunity to exercise this Framework through discussion of a series of case studies.

The global nature of the research and the benefits and risks associated with it underscore the importance of hearing a broad range of perspectives about the responsible funding and conduct of such research.

Discussions over this 2-day workshop will be carefully considered as HHS finalizes its Framework.

Pennsylvania state House Republicans will make another attempt at passing a voting overhaul bill after Democrat Gov. Tom Wolf signaled he would support a measure that includes voter identification provisions.

House State Government Committee Chairman Seth Grove on Wednesday told other lawmakers in a memo that he’ll reintroduce a bill that Wolf vetoed last month. Other than proposing new voter identification requirements, the bill would move up the voter registration deadline, limit drop-box usage, and would allow for the precanvassing of mail-in ballots.

Grove, in the memo, noted that Wolf recently told the Philadelphia Inquirer that he isn’t opposed to voter identification requirements—namely for mail-in voting.

  21. Biden Says the Quiet Part Out Loud: The Goal Is to Ban ALL Firearms

For years, gun control advocates have repeatedly beaten the same drum. They say their goal is to establish “common sense” gun control laws as a means of protecting Americans from so-called “gun violence.” When gun owners objected, they condescendingly assured us that no one wants to take your guns away.

But Second Amendment supporters weren’t buying that line. They could see the the direction gun controllers were headed and repeatedly warned that their endgame is to ban all civiliain-owned firearms.

It began with heavily regulating things like fully automatic firearms and suppressors to the point where the average Americans couldn’t afford those firearms. They’ve moved to outlawing concealed carry, “Saturday night specials” and “cop-killer” bullets. More recently, they’ve targeted “assault weapons” like AR-15s and now it’s ghost guns.

  22. Fauci Demands Censorship to Fight Pandemic – Frontpagemag

    8-10 minutes

The only thing unhealthier than a virus is big government.

Daniel Greenfield, a Shillman Journalism Fellow at the Freedom Center, is an investigative journalist and writer focusing on the radical Left and Islamic terrorism.

After Biden’s spokeswoman boasted that the administration was ordering Facebook to censor some people’s speech, Fauci joined the campaign by appearing on CNN to warn about the dangers of letting anyone say whatever they think. “We probably would still have polio in this country if we had the kind of false information that’s being spread now,” he falsely claimed.

Fauci, as usual, is wrong about everything.

The polio vaccine was the subject of numerous controversies which played out in public.

There were anti-vaccine campaigns long before Facebook. The most bracing of these took on the polio vaccine with the headline, “Little White Coffins” declaring, “Only God above will know how many thousands of little white coffins will be used to bury the victims of Salk’s heinous, fraudulent vaccine.” Walter Winchell, who at his peak reached over 50 million people, warned that one particular version of the vaccine, which contained a live virus, was a “killer”.

  23. paul j watson – YouTube Deletes 15 Videos From Brazilian President Bolsonaro’s Channel For ‘COVID Misinformation’

Google-owned YouTube is once again flexing more power than world leaders by deleting 15 videos from Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro’s channel over claims of ‘COVID misinformation’.

Videos that were removed included one that discussed the use of hydroxychloroquine as a treatment for COVID, as well as former health minister Eduardo Pazuello comparing coronavirus to AIDS.

“Post-HIV pandemic, HIV continues to exist. There are still some who are contaminated, most are treated, and life goes on,” he stated.

Some of the content was also deleted becauseYouTube doesn’t allow anyone to question the efficacy of masks.

This is particularly bizarre given that WHO and Anthony Fauci himself said early on during the pandemic that masks were useless.

Fauci wrote in a February 2020 email that a typical store-bought face mask “is not really effective in keeping out virus, which is small enough to pass through material.”

A similar argument was made recently by Dr Colin Axon, a SAGE advisor for the UK government, who told the London Telegraph that medics have given people a “cartoonish” view of how how microscopic viruses travel through the air, and the masks have gaps in them that are up to 5000 times bigger than COVID particles.

Apparently, discussing concerns shared by top doctors and scientists is enough to get content removed, even if you’re the leader of a major country.

“Bolsonaro and his office have not yet released a statement on the removal of the videos, but his official Twitter account did post a message urging followers to join him on Telegram to receive daily information directly,” reports RT.

As we previously highlighted, YouTube also automatically removes videos of anti-lockdown protests, even if the purpose of the video is to mock the protesters.

    • paul j watson – Italians Hit the Streets to Protest Mandatory Vaccine Passports

      Demonstrators shout “No dictatorship!”

After the Italian government followed other European countries in announcing mandatory vaccine passports, Italians hit the streets to protest the measure, with demonstrators in Turin shouting, “No dictatorship!”

After France and the United Kingdom announced that proof of vaccination would be required to enter some venues, Italy followed suit.

From August 6, Italian authorities will mandate their citizens be enrolled in a “green certification” program which will bar access for the unvaccinated or those who can’t prove a negative COVID test to venues such as “indoor bars and restaurants, go to museums, swimming pools, gyms, theme parks and more,” reports Axios.

Irate Italians in Turin reacted by immediately hitting the streets.

The crowd chanted, “No green pass, no green pass!”, “No dictatorship, no dictatorship!” and “freedom, freedom!” during the demonstration.

The new measures were justified by “a spike in infections driven by the Delta variant,” although the 5,057 new coronavirus infections reported on Thursday are around 10 times lower than the peak in infections the country experienced back in November.

If the protests in Italy are anything like what we’ve seen in France, expect them to become unruly in a hurry.

Although the unrest there forced President Macron to marginally reduce back some of the places where vaccine passports will be required, the list is still lengthy and includes public transport, bars, cafes and shopping centers with a surface area of more than 20,000 square meters.

Another major protest against vaccine passports is also scheduled to take place in London on Saturday.
