Reader’s Links for April 5, 2021

Each day at just after midnight Eastern, a post like this one is created for contributors and readers of this site to upload news links and video links on the issues that concern this site. Most notably, Islam and its effects on Classical Civilization, and various forms of leftism from Soviet era communism, to postmodernism and all the flavours of galloping statism and totalitarianism such as Nazism and Fascism which are increasingly snuffing out the classical liberalism which created our near, miraculous civilization the West has been building since the time of Socrates.

This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

This is the new Samizdat. We must use it while we can.

    • “Due to the urgent need for a vaccine in a surging pandemic, Pfizer and Moderna were given approval to simultaneously test their vaccines on animals while they were conducting Phase 1 trials on humans. The vaccines were tested on mice and macaques.

“They overlapped preclinical studies with the early phases of the trials,” said Dr. William Moss, executive director for the International Vaccine Access Center at Johns Hopkins University. “In fact one of the reasons we are even talking about vaccines now just 10 months later is that some of the phases in which vaccine development normally occurs were overlapped rather than done sequentially.””

“In two peer-reviewed studies published this spring in Science magazine, researchers who infected groups of rhesus macaque monkeys with the coronavirus found that primates were capable of developing protective immunity against the disease. That development helped pave the way for the vaccines that could start to put an end to the pandemic.”

  1. It was a good Easter.

My neice got me to relook at the Gospel of Thomas, which warns from the very start you won’t understand it, if you carry pride and judgement. For many people will age and act exactly like their age as bitterness grows; but a few live out their whole lives being children. Inquisitive, interested and happy. Born from within, and not from without.

    Saying 15:

“Jesus said, “When you see the one who wasn’t born of a woman, fall down on your face and worship that person. That’s your Father.””

    I had to laugh.

Do I think that actual Jesus 1.0 said this, or another Jesus said this? Doesn’t matter. Why pick over the gone from this world. What exactly does it mean?

I look around, and the majority males are into the females: bucks, cucks and sucks.
muslims, Socialists and Sexuals being today’s preeners of pride and complaining of Hate Crimes. These made femaled.

So if you meet a man not born of a woman, you’ve met a sane person. It’s awesome. For the father is in them. You can talk sense about everything and anything. And not stumble into thorns and thickets.

Where a woman can be free, and not some man trying to get into her identity. And she
does not have superiority over such weaklings lusting after a whorehouse in Heaven.

Anyway, these saying, from a book that was meant to be burned, make me laugh.

What will the left loons allow a “non-compliant, super spreaders, racist, anti-vaxers, Nazis” to do? Will the independent thinkers be allowed to go to the mall, sporting events, the pub, grocery stores, the Doctor’s offices, the Dentist, a restaurant, church, anywhere?

Will they be allowed to go to an abortion clinic?

German Defence Minister Annegret Kramp-Karrenbauer welcomed the opening of Germany’s first round-the-clock COVID-19 vaccination centre in Lebach on Sunday.

According to Kramp-Karrenbauer, the military-run centre needed to be operating 24/7 as “the virus fights us day and night, and that is why we also have to fight the virus day and night.”

She emphasised the tremendous effort on behalf of the armed forces, saying “I want to make it very clear that 24/7 also means a great effort from the army.

An average of 1,000 vaccinations per day could be offered in a three-shift operation, seven days a week, which could serve to speed up the inoculation campaign.

Around 11 percent of the German population has received at least one dose of a coronavirus vaccine, according to Robert Koch Institute data, but with the government restricting the use of the AstraZeneca vaccine to over 60s, the biggest stumbling block to vaccinations is believed to be a lack of available doses, not a lack of appointments available.

Let me say that again, the government’s idea of helping you make an informed decision is paying people to trick you into doing what they want you to do.

    • summit news – Poll Finds Almost HALF Of Americans Want Vaccine Passports

“So 44% of America has bought into tyrannical fascism. Got it.”

A Rasmussen poll has revealed that almost half of Americans support the introduction of vaccine passports in order to get “back to normal.”

The findings were released over the Easter period, and noted that 44% of Americans said that a government run system requiring proof of vaccination is a “good idea.”

The poll dovetails with similar findings in the UK, where a majority of 62% said they would support the mandating of vaccine passports to visit pubs or restaurants, while only 22% opposed the idea.

An even higher figure, 78% said they would mandate the vaccine passport for international travel, while 61% said it should be required to attend sports games and 58% said it should be mandated for public transport.

The findings in the U.S. come as it was confirmed that the Biden regime is working with major corporations to develop a country-wide vaccine passport, and after New York has begun the rollout of its own vaccine passport system.

In addition, the FBI is warning people against fake vaccine passports or COVID-19 vaccination cards.

As National File reported, the Biden administration is working with major corporations to develop a vaccine passport system that would require Americans to take one of the controversial vaccines and receive a vaccine passport to engage in commerce.

The passport system is also being pushed by the mainstream media, with the likes of the L.A. Times declaring that vaccine passports are a “good idea” because they will help the Biden administration “break the resistance down.”

Some lawmakers have vowed to resist the introduction of vaccine passports, including Florida Governor Ron DeSantis who has signed an executive order banning them in the state, and revealed that he is working with the Florida legislature to institute a permanent ban.

Georgia Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene has claimed that the Biden administration aims to force all Americans to have Covid-19 vaccine passports, comparing it to the “mark of the beast” prophesied in the Bible.

    • How Will the US vaccine Passport Work?

It has been months since a vaccine passport was touted to be the hope to safely jumpstart the hard-hit travel industry.

Vaccine passports that provide proof of immunity to the coronavirus are supported by the travel industry and other businesses that have suffered from concerns about the risk of contagion in public places.

Several countries have already announced they will allow non-essential travel from vaccinated individuals.

United States President Joe Biden and his administration are working with private industries to develop a COVID-19 vaccination credential system.

White House officials said that the push for vaccine passports should come from the private sector and that the federal government won’t take the lead in creating a centralized document proving vaccination.

White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki said in a separate briefing there will be no centralized federal vaccination database, and no federal mandate requiring a single vaccination credential.

“A determination or development of a vaccine passport or whatever you want to call it will be driven by the private sector…Ours will more be focused on guidelines that can be used as a basis, and there are a couple key principles we’re working from.” – Jen Psaki

  7. Iran Probably Already Has the Bomb. Here’s What to Do about It

Washington’s mainstream thinking assumes Iran does not yet have atomic weapons, but could “break out” to develop one or a few A-bombs in a year, which the intelligence community would supposedly detect in time for preventive measures.…

By 2003, 18 years ago, Iran was already a threshold nuclear-missile state. On Feb. 25, 2021, the Institute for Science and International Security assessed that Iran had a break-out time of as short as three months for its first nuclear weapon and five months for a second.

There is no reason to believe U.S. and IAEA intelligence capabilities can assuredly detect Iran’s clandestine efforts to build atomic weapons. Indeed, the U.S. and IAEA did not even know about Iran’s clandestine nuclear-weapons program until Iranian dissidents exposed it in 2002.

IAEA inspections failed to discover clandestine nuclear-weapons programs in North Korea, Pakistan, Iraq, and Libya. It is implausible and imprudent to assume that Iran refrained from making atomic weapons for more than a decade, when they could do so clandestinely.

Arms control non-solutions like the Iran nuclear deal (JCPOA) will only make matters worse, just as arms control did with North Korea, by offering false hope while the nuclear threat grows.

  8. Beijing Accelerating Timeline for Possible Invasion of Taiwan, Expert Warns
    By Frank Fang
    12-15 minutes

TAIPEI, Taiwan—The Chinese communist regime is accelerating its plans to invade Taiwan, an expert warns, as Beijing ratchets up military maneuvers against the island.

Twenty Chinese military aircraft—including four nuclear-capable H-6K bombers, 10 J-16 fighter jets, two Y-8 anti-submarine warfare aircraft, and a KJ-500 airborne early warning and control aircraft—entered Taiwan’s air defense identification zone (ADIZ) on March 26, according to Taiwan’s Ministry of National Defense. It was the largest incursion ever reported by the ministry.

Taiwan’s ADIZ, located adjacent to the island’s territorial airspace, is an area where incoming planes must identify themselves to the island’s air traffic controller.

The incursion caps off a significant increase in hostility by Beijing against Taiwan since 2020. Taiwan’s President Tsai Ing-wen, re-elected last January, has taken a hard line against threats posed by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), while the island has deepened its cooperation with the United States—prompting the regime to escalate its warmongering towards the island.

The CCP sees Taiwan as a part of its territory and has threatened war to bring the island under its fold. The self-ruled island is in reality a de-facto independent country with its own democratically-elected government, military, constitution, and currency.

The Republic of China (ROC)—Taiwan’s official name—overthrew China’s Qing Dynasty emperor in 1911. After the ROC retreated to Taiwan upon being defeated by the CCP during the Chinese Civil War, the CCP established a communist state called the People’s Republic of China (PRC) in 1949, while Taiwan gradually transitioned to become a democracy. But to this day, the Chinese regime has refused to recognize Taiwan’s sovereignty.

Russia and China prepare a two-fer at either end of Asia

      Russian MOD

Today, a survey of two hot spots where trouble is brewing in the Eastern hemisphere. In a different time, there would have been a pause to acknowledge America’s years of earnest preparation to meet the requirements of “two major regional conflicts” simultaneously, and consider how the current moment measured up. But the irony that we quietly stopped doing that a decade ago is a bit too melancholy to dwell on now.

These two developments are being couched, antiquely, as “tests” for the Biden administration. The Biden administration is applying little but words to them, but in any case, we are really beyond Russia and China “testing” new U.S. administrations at this point. The leaders in Moscow and Beijing see the leaders of the West more clearly than the Western media do. Their purpose is not to test the reaction of the U.S. but to achieve objectives.

At the western end of Asia, Russia’s objective appears to be consolidating the division of Ukraine begun seven years ago. NATO is growing more alarmed and jittery. Ukraine says some 20,000-25,000 Russian troops have been moved to Ukraine’s eastern border (in 28 “battalion groups,” which would be optimized for dispersed infantry combat) and believes there are about 3,000 Russian “advisers” in various guises, in separatist-held portions of Ukrainian Luhansk and Donetsk.

    • In my opinion the second article is the more realistic, China isn’t going to wait 2 to 6 years before it makes and attempting to conquering Taiwan. While waiting 2 years would give Biden and the left more time to destroy the US military it would also give the neighboring nations time to build more Naval vessels and more combat aircraft.

Two years would also give Taiwan time to build more missiles to use in their Sampson Option of attacking one or more of the big dams in China. It’s the it would be a last effort to destroy the enemy before or as the enemy conquers Taiwan. Is Taiwan going to be desperate enough to use the Sampson Option? Is Xi going to be desperate enough to ignore the Sampson Option?

Then there is the internal politics of the CCP, Xi is in trouble because of the food shortages, the flu in at least one province and the way India kicked them out of the Ladakh region. His political and possible physical survival depend on cleaning up the mess he and and the other communist have made in Mainland China.

Now throw in the uncertainty of what will happen in the Western Elections over the next 2 years and then add in the massive diversion that Russia is about to provide by invading Ukraine.

All the sign points to an invasion attempt this year with the weather in the straits allowing an invasion in April and October those are the times that are the greatest threat.

In the first article he mentions that civilian freighters and fishing boats may be used in the invasion, I think we can take that as a given, No one would complain too much over Taiwan sinking CCP Naval vessels headed towards Taiwan, but think about the level of outrage that will be reached if/when Taiwan sinks a bunch of civilian transports carrying PLA soldiers and equipment.

  9. Yemen’s “Hizbullah”: Implications of Houthi Missile and ????? Improvements

On March 25, Yemen’s Houthi militia attacked Saudi Arabia with 18 explosive drones and 8 ballistic missiles, striking energy targets 900 miles away in the oil-rich Eastern Province and 650 miles away on the Red Sea coast.

Such attacks … underlin[e] the presence of a mature missile-drone assembly industry in Houthi-held areas of Yemen and foreshadowing further range increases that could allow the Iran-backed rebels to reach new targets including Israel, Egypt and Jordan.

Iran and the Houthis have developed a military industry in Sanaa and Saada that fuses imports from Iran … with domestically available military items and imported industrial materials (e.g., fiberglass). In March 2021, 70 major weapons systems were fired into Saudi Arabia, compared to 25 in February and 3 in January.

The U.S. and its partners should intensify their efforts to map out missile and drone procurement networks and expose them to kinetic, cyber, financial, and counter-smuggling operations. Separately, any international peace deal must be conditioned on the Houthis removing Iranian technicians and … giving up all of its missiles.…

Given the group’s growing long-range arsenal and its commitment to its official motto of “Death to America, death to Israel, curse the Jews, victory to Islam,” such contingency planning already seems prudent.

A group of Republican legislators from Georgia is seeking to remove all Coca-Cola Company products from their offices after the company’s top executive came out against the state’s newly enacted election law.

The eight GOP state House representatives sent a letter to Kevin Perry, president and CEO of the Georgia Beverage Association, requesting that the products be removed from their offices immediately in response to Coca Cola’s participation in the campaign to “cancel” the Peach State.

The lawmakers characterized the beverage giant’s move to criticize the law as an intentional attempt to mislead Georgian residents and further divide the state.

“We have the responsibility to all of Georgia to not engage in those misguided intentions nor continue to support corporations who choose to,” the lawmakers wrote in their letter that was dated April 3. “Given Coke’s choice to cave to the pressure of an out-of-control cancel culture, we respectfully request all Coca-Cola Company products be removed from our office suite immediately.”

While the Biden administration and the European Union are forging ahead to revive the Iran nuclear deal – which, by the way, Tehran never signed — and lift sanctions on the Iranian regime, they are turning a blind eye on the regime’s alarming and increasing human rights violations.

Human rights violations committed by the Iranian regime have become even more shattering and appalling. Unfortunately, Iran’s leaders have been acting with full impunity. First, the suppression and execution of political prisoners and those who protest against Iran’s theocratic establishment have reached an unprecedented level. According to a recent Human Rights Watch report, the Iranian regime is one of the world’s leading executioners. In 2020, Iran’s regime executed more than 230 people. These include individuals who committed their alleged crimes when they were children.

To execute political prisoners, Iran’s judiciary brings up vaguely defined charges, labelled as “national security crimes,” against the defendants. These “crimes” include moharebeh (“enmity against God”), ifsad fil arz (“sowing corruption on earth”), and baghi (“armed rebellion”).

Asian-American parents mobilized to oppose the de Blasio administration’s specialized high school proposal. Now they’re fighting a larger battle.

    April 4, 2021

On February 26, when former New York City schools chancellor Richard Carranza announced his resignation, the Asian-American parent groups who had been calling for his ouster for more than 18 months were wary celebrants. Carranza’s departure was a measure of vindication for these parents, who want the city to retain its current selective admissions systems for gifted children and for teenagers seeking entry into top public high schools. Carranza was determined to reduce what he called segregation in city schools and to create more opportunities for black and Hispanic students—an effort, the parents understood, that would come at the expense of Asian-American students who worked hard to do well under the current system. Even before the surge in attacks against Asians in the past year, the education issue had made many feel victimized by American society. But now that Carranza is gone, they aren’t popping champagne corks: New York City mayor Bill de Blasio still opposes the current admissions system, and his handpicked replacement, Meisha Ross Porter, is committed to keeping the issue on the front-burner. Next January, a new mayor will choose Porter’s successor.

Daniel Greenfield, a Shillman Journalism Fellow at the Freedom Center, is an investigative journalist and writer focusing on the radical Left and Islamic terrorism.

After North Korea’s latest missile test and a threat from Kim Jong-Un’s sister that if the Biden administration “wants to sleep in peace for [the] coming four years, it had better refrain from causing a stink”, the administration had a firm and unyielding response to the threats.

Officials told the media that the Biden administration sees North Korean missile tests as “normal military activity” and that they “don’t want a situation where it is perceived that our door is not open to talk.”

North Korea knows that Biden’s barn door is wide open. The snarling threat by Lil Kim’s sister was the first North Korean response to a month of diplomatic overtures from Biden.

  17. Biden & Democrats: ‘American Lives Don’t Matter’

    Destroying America from within.
Mon Apr 5, 2021 Wayne Allyn Root

We know Democrats support “Black Lives Matter.” It’s all they talk about. While I’m no fan of the Marxist BLM organization, I think all of us can agree that black lives matter. No one wants a single law-abiding, innocent black American to die needlessly.

But someone needs to ask puppet President Joe Biden and every Democratic politician in Washington, D.C., a simple question: Do American lives matter?

Because, from their actions, it’s pretty darn clear that they don’t. It seems like they’re purposely trying to destroy the lives of American citizens.

Who in their right mind would open the borders, stop construction of the wall, invite the entire world to come to America, announce they won’t deport anyone, and incentivize migrants with free lawyers, welfare, bus or air fare and, of course, free health care?

Even worse, who in their right mind would open the borders in the middle of this COVID-19 pandemic?

Who’d be insane enough to demand every American citizen returning to the U.S. to take a COVID test but refuse to give COVID tests to thousands of immigrants illegally breaking into our country each day?

  18. Turkey arrests 10 retired admirals who voiced security fears over Erdogan’s straits project
Turkish police have arrested 10 retired admirals, who among over 100 ex-navy officers, voiced concerns that the ambitious plan to dig a new canal between the Black Sea and the Sea of Marmara would endanger the country.

Four other individuals were ordered to report to the Ankara chief prosecutor within three days as part of the investigation of an alleged attempt to commit crimes “against national security and the constitutional order,” Turkish news agency Anadolu said.

The arrests and summonses on Monday came due to an open letter signed by former high-ranking personnel of the Turkish Navy. Published on Sunday, it raises concerns over the suggestion that Turkey could abandon the 1936 Montreux Convention, a cornerstone international treaty that governs Turkey’s sovereignty over two straits connecting the Mediterranean Sea and the Black Sea, and the inland Sea of Marmara in between. Turkish authorities reacted to the letter with anger, saying it invoked the numerous military coups the country has experienced in modern history and is thus a threat to the civilian government.
At the core of the issue is the Istanbul Canal, a 50km-long waterway that would run parallel to the Bosporus and help deal with the heavy maritime traffic through the straits. It is one of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s projects meant to reshape Turkey with heavy investment in infrastructure. Erdogan first unveiled the project in 2011 during his election campaign, calling it a “crazy project.”

Critics fear that the new man-made waterway, not covered by the Montreux Convention, would potentially lead to a confrontation between major naval nations. The treaty allows free passage of civilian ships through the straits but limits the tonnage and number of military vessels of non-Black Sea countries.

Erdogan stated that the Montreux Convention would not apply to traffic through the new canal once it’s finished, which led to speculation that Turkey may withdraw from the treaty altogether.

The letter signed by retired naval officers expressed concern that there is even a debate regarding the move, saying the convention is crucial to national security and that without it, the country could face grave threats.

The warning triggered outrage from the Turkish government, with Presidential Spokesman Ibrahim Kalin saying it was “reminiscent of coup times” and made the signatories look “ridiculous and pathetic.”

“They should know that our esteemed nation and its representatives will never allow this mentality and enthusiasm for [military] tutelage,” he tweeted.

The Turkish military, which has historically played the role of guarantor of the country’s secular constitution, staged three successful coups between 1960 and 1980. In 1997, a ‘military memorandum’ forced the resignation of Islamist Prime Minister Necmettin Erbakan. In 2016, there was a failed coup against Erdogan which left scores of people killed and led to a purge in Turkey’s security apparatus.

Concerns about the Montreux Convention were expressed in a similar open letter last year by retired Turkish diplomats. Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said at the time that the canal project will not compromise the treaty.

  19. Ex-soldiers’ declaration unacceptable: Erdo?an
A recent declaration released by retired admirals is unacceptable and is a malicious attempt, President Recep Tayyip Erdo?an has said.
“Turning issues that can be resolved within democracy and rule of law into the pretext of coup declarations is not a demonstration of constitutional allegiance against the political authority, but a clear threat to the constitution,” Erdo?an said on April 5 following a meeting with top officials at the Presidential Complex.
He said the declaration cannot be seen as exercising freedom of expression.
“It is not the job of retired admirals to come together and publish declarations that contain hints of a coup on a political debate,” he said.
“Freedom of expression does not include a language that threatens the government of the country with a coup d’état.”
Erdo?an also said Turkey remained committed to the Montreux Convention on its straits and is aware of its benefits

  20. breaking 911- 200 Companies Speak Out Against Election Reform Efforts, Including PayPal, Dow, HP, Microsoft, Uber, Under Armour

200 companies, including PayPal, Dow, Estee Lauder, HP, Microsoft, Uber, and Under Armour have signed a joint statement condemning election reform efforts in Texas, Georgia, and other states.

“There are hundreds of bills threatening to make voting more difficult in dozens of states nationwide,” the statement began.

“We call on elected leaders in every state capitol and in Congress to work across the aisle and ensure that every eligible American has the freedom to easily cast their ballot and participate fully in our democracy.”

The statement also took aim at legislation “threatening to make voting more difficult” by “[imposing] barriers that result in longer lines at the polls” and “[reducing] access to secure ballot dropboxes.”

    Read the full statement here.

The statement comes a week after Georgia Republicans passed multiple new election reform bills that Democrats say are voter suppression efforts.

Coca-Cola and Delta Airlines recently spoke out against the new voting laws, as well as American Airlines, Southwest Airlines, Dell Technologies, and AT&T.

The MLB also announced that they will be moving their All-Star game out of Georgia in response to the new voting laws:

The Right to Vote is the Cornerstone of our Democracy.

We believe every American should have a voice in our democracy and that voting should be safe and accessible to all voters. We stand in solidarity with voters ? and with the Black executives and leaders at the helm of this movement ? in our nonpartisan commitment to equality and democracy. If our government is going to work for all of us, each of us must have equal freedom to vote and elections must reflect the will of voters.

Our elections are not improved when lawmakers impose barriers that result in longer lines at the polls or that reduce access to secure ballot dropboxes. There are hundreds of bills threatening to make voting more difficult in dozens of states nationwide. We call on elected leaders in every state capitol and in Congress to work across the aisle and ensure that every eligible American has the freedom to easily cast their ballot and participate fully in our democracy.

  21. global news – Police visit, leave Calgary church that was allegedly not following COVID-19 restrictions

Calgary police said Sunday they responded to a religious gathering allegedly in contravention of the province’s COVID-19 restrictions the previous day.

An officer and representatives from Alberta Health Services and city bylaw went to Street Church, located at 4315 26 Ave. S.E.

In a video posted online by pastor Artur Pawlowski, authorities are seen leaving the church after the pastor yells at them to get out, calling them “Nazis” and “Gestapo.”

“The organizer of the gathering was uncooperative with the health inspector and repeatedly raised his voice asking all parties to leave the premises, which they did approximately one minute after entry and in a peaceful manner,” police said.

Officers said no tickets were issued at the time, adding that it’s up to the police’s partner agencies to determine further steps.

An AHS spokesperson said a health inspector was not allowed inside the church so they were unable to confirm if orders were being followed.

“We stand by all of our public health inspectors who are doing an incredible job in trying and challenging circumstances. AHS is continuing work on enforcement options.”

While the majority of Calgarians are understanding and co-operative, police said they often respond to these cases to “keep the peace due to high levels of conflict between citizens and health inspectors.”

“We understand the pandemic has caused great disruption to all Calgarians in their professional and personal lives,” police said in a news release, adding that the public health orders are in place to “ensure everyone’s safety.”

“We do not wish to disrupt anyone’s holidays or religious or spiritual events, however, we must support our partner agencies when called upon to help ensure everyone can safely celebrate these occasions.”

Global News has reached out to Street Church and will update this story if we receive a response.

Since Dec. 13, 2020, religious services are limited to 15 per cent of fire code occupancy. Physical distancing between households must be maintained and masks are mandatory, according to the Alberta government.

    • global news – Business licences suspended for Vancouver restaurants that defied COVID-19 health orders

The City of Vancouver confirms it has suspended the business licences of two Vancouver restaurants for failing to comply with B.C.’s COVID-19 provincial health orders.

Suspension letters and Vancouver Coastal Health closure orders were posted on the front doors of Gusto’s restaurant and Corduroy Lounge.

Video posted to Facebook on Saturday showed what appeared to be staff with Vancouver Coastal Health attending to speak with Corduroy owner Rebecca Matthews.

In the video, Matthews, who is unmasked and has an infant strapped to her chest, tells the inspectors she does not recognize their jurisdiction and that they are trespassing.

Diners at the packed restaurant then join in a chant of “Get out! Get out!” prompting the health officials to leave to cheers from the crowd.

B.C. banned indoor dining for three weeks last Monday, as a part of a “circuit breaker” meant to curb the third wave of COVID-19 infection.
