This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

I still believe they were, even down to those ratifying the Constitution in the states lightyears ahead of nearly all politicians and academicians in their intelligence and education. But their views are not new at all but can be found in 5 English documents that came into being over hundreds of years:

    • When you read the arguments for and against Independence and the Constitution you find those documents mentioned, they were mentioned a lot. As was the fact that the Revolution was being fought to restore our rights as Englishmen, this isn’t mentioned much these days but use to be taught in all schools. The American Revolution was fought to restore rights, rights that came from the 5 documents.

      Police identify 21-year-old Ahmad Al Aliwi Alissa as suspect in Boulder shooting

      he suspect in the King Soopers shooting in Boulder, Colorado, has been identified as Ahmad Al Aliwi Alissa, 21, of Arvada, authorities revealed Tuesday.

      He has been charged with 10 counts of first-degree murder, Boulder Police Chief Maris Herold said at a press conference.

      Alissa, who was shot in the leg, was in stable condition at an area hospital and was expected to be released later Tuesday, officials said.

      Boulder County District Attorney Michael Dougherty said authorities have not yet pinpointed a motive, stressing that the investigation is still in its preliminary stages.

      The suspect’s brother, Ali Aliwi Alissa, told the Daily Beast that the suspect was “very anti-social” and paranoid.

      “Why did this happen?” Dougherty asked. “We don’t have the answer to that yet and the investigation is in its very early stages.”

      The top prosecutor also said Alissa appears to be the only suspect, and Herold added that he was not known to police prior to the slaughter.

      He will be transferred to the Boulder County Jail later Tuesday and an arrest affidavit and warrant will be made public then.

    • Ahmed Al Aliwi Alissa 21, born in Syria in 1999 – family came to US in 2002. Classmates, and wrestling team mates described him as a loner, short-tempered, violent, paranoid.

      He did attack a classmate in 2017 and was charged and convicted of assault – received 2 months probation and 48 hours of community service.
      He later had a second charge of criminal mischief details not available.

      ARVADA, Colorado—The 21-year-old man accused in the King Soopers grocery store massacre is a martial-arts buff with a history of violence whose own brother describes him as “very anti-social.”

      Ahmad Al Aliwi Alissa allegedly stalked through the Boulder supermarket on Monday afternoon with a rifle and a pistol, firing shot after shot, and stripping off his combat vest and clothing until surrendering to a SWAT team.

      He was charged with one count of first-degree murder for each of the 10 people killed: Denny Stong, 20; Neven Stanisic, 23; Rikki Olds, 25; Tralona Bartkowika, 49; Suzanne Fountain, 59; Teri Leiker, 51; Kevin Mahoney, 61; Lynn Murray, 62; Jody Waters, 65; and Boulder Police Officer Eric Talley, 51.

      Investigators said that after the wounded, bloodied suspect was hauled out of the crime scene, he asked for his mother.

      The motive for the nation’s second major mass shooting in a week remains unknown, but a family member said he believes the alleged shooter—a former high-school wrestler who was born in Syria but raised in Colorado—is mentally ill.

      Ali Aliwi Alissa, 34, told The Daily Beast in a phone interview that his brother was paranoid, adding that in high school he would talk about “being chased, someone is behind him, someone is looking for him.”

      “When he was having lunch with my sister in a restaurant, he said, ‘People are in the parking lot, they are looking for me.’ She went out, and there was no one. We didn’t know what was going on in his head,” he said.

      He said he was sure the shooting was “not at all a political statement, it’s mental illness.”

      “The guy used to get bullied a lot in high school. He was like an outgoing kid, but after he went to high school and got bullied a lot, he started becoming anti-social,” the brother said.

      Court records show Ahmad Alissa has at least one previous run-in with the law: an arrest after “cold cocking” a classmate at Arvada West High School in 2017.

      According to court documents first obtained by KDVR, Alissa punched a classmate in the head without warning after he “had made fun of him and called him racial names weeks earlier.” The victim suffered bruising, swelling, and cuts to the head. Alissa pleaded guilty to an assault charge and was sentenced to two months of probation and 48 hours of community service in connection with that episode.

      An Arvada Police spokesperson also confirmed Alissa had two interactions with local cops over the “past few years,” including cases involving allegations of simple assault and criminal mischief.

      On a now-deleted Facebook page, Alissa described himself as “born in Syria 1999 came to the USA in 2002. I like wrestling and informational documentaries that’s me.” He also said he was “interested in “computer engineering/ computer science…. kickboxing.” Posts about mixed martial arts, especially jiu jitsu, dominated the page. Alissa sometimes posted about Islam, often about prayer or holidays.

      He shared pictures of himself in his wrestling uniform from Arvada West High, as well as wearing medals from a fighting association.

      Conrad, a former wrestling teammate of the suspect who spoke under the condition his last name be withheld, told The Daily Beast he was deeply surprised by the allegations, but that Alissa did have a temper.

      “One thing I can tell you is he didn’t take losing very well,” he said. “I remember that in wrestling. He would throw his headgear, wouldn’t talk to the coaches when he lost. If I remember correctly, even cussed out one of the coaches one time.”

      In one Facebook post, the suspect appeared to express fears that someone was targeting his phone for Islamophobic reasons.

      “Yeah if these racist islamophobic people would stop hacking my phone and let me have a normal life I probably could,” he posted in July 2019.

      He made similar allegations months earlier, accusing his former high school of hacking his phone. He asked Facebook followers for information about laws against phone hacking, and said he suspected someone was starting rumors about him, which “set off” the alleged hacking.

      On Facebook, his politics appeared mixed throughout several camps. He shared an article rebuking Donald Trump’s stance on immigration, but also posted about his own opposition to gay marriage and abortion.

      A day after the 2019 Christchurch mosque shootings in New Zealand, Alissa had shared a Facebook post from another user that read, “The Muslims at the #christchurch mosque were not the victims of a single shooter. They were the victims of the entire Islamophobia industry that vilified them.”

      An arrest affidavit released Tuesday says Alissa purchased a Ruger AR-556 semiautomatic on March 16. A family member told police that Alissa had been playing with a “machine gun” just two days before the shooting and “had been talking about having a bullet stuck in the gun.”

      On Monday, the Boulder Police Department was bombarded with “multiple” calls about Alissa, including one that he was armed with a “black AR-15” and “might have body armor on,” the affidavit says.

      King Soopers employees told police the man shot “an elderly man in the parking lot” before walking up to him and shooting him several more times. Alissa had on a green tactical vest, a rifle, a semi-automatic handgun, and a pair of jeans, the affidavit says.

      Sarah Moonshadow, a 42-year-old south Boulder resident, was buying strawberries with her 21-year-old son when the gunfire erupted. “He shot right at us. I didn’t look. I just ran,” she told The Daily Beast on Monday.

      Boulder Police Officer Eric Talley was first on the scene, and Alissa allegedly shot him in the head. When SWAT teams arrived and entered the store, the suspect walked backward toward them to be taken into custody. He had “removed all of his clothing and was dressed only in shorts” and “had blood on his right thigh.”

      Alissa spent the night in the hospital and was booked into the Boulder County Jail by Tuesday afternoon.

      His brother, Ali Aliwi Alissa, said he traveled to another King Sooper’s location after work on Monday to look for a third sibling who had run an errand and couldn’t be reached. He said he found that relative in police custody, and that he and more family members were detained as well.

      He said that police spent the night searching every corner of the home, which sits on the edge of a quiet cul-de-sac lined with two-story homes and a mix of Aspens, evergreens, basketball hoops, and bird feeders. Multiple generations of the family reside at the Arvada house, its roof covered with solar panels, a flagstone path leading to the backyard.

      If the neighbors hadn’t seen the news online, they learned something was wrong around 9:30 p.m. Monday when an armada of vehicles arrived and stormed the block. “It looked like the house was surrounded by Navy SEALs,” said a 39-year-old pilot and neighbor, who was in bed next door when law enforcement arrived and declined to give his name.

      Matt Benz, a 37-year-old investment manager who lives five doors down, woke up to a loudspeaker asking everyone in the Alissa house to come to the front door. “It’s a quiet neighborhood, full of young families, that’s why we moved here,” he told The Daily Beast, detailing his shock at the news.

      On Tuesday morning, a woman who identified herself as an older sister answered the door of the Alissa family home. She said she was floored, and the family never suspected their brother capable of committing this act of violence. “We’re shocked. He is nice, a quiet brother,” the 30-year-old told The Daily Beast, declining to give her name.

      Asked what message the family had for the public, brother Ali Aliwi Alissa said: “I feel so sorry for the people that were shot by Ahmad. This was something I would have never expected Ahmad to do. What he did… why, I don’t know.”

      The events in Boulder unfolded just days after a gunman shot up three massage parlors in the metro Atlanta area, killing eight people, six of them Asian women.

      Colorado has also been the scene of some of the nation’s worst mass shootings after the 1999 Columbine High School massacre that left 13 people dead. In 2012, an attack at an Aurora movie theater left 12 dead.

      “I wish I could stand here and promise that pain will heal quickly,” Colorado Gov. Jared Polis said at a Tuesday press conference. “But it won’t…. At times like this, it’s hard to see the light that shines through the darkness.”

      “Not only did we lose ten lives, this is real horror and terror,” he added.

    “…I’ve said all along that you cannot put negative interest rates on consumers until you eliminate cash. Otherwise, savers would just withdraw cash from the banks and stuff it in mattresses to avoid the negative rates. Implicitly, the European Central Bank (ECB) seems to agree.

    One of the ECB Board members says that negative rates (really confiscation) will be applied as a “penalty” against “hoarding” cash. In plain English, that means they will create digital money, force you to spend it, and if you don’t spend it, they will take it away as a “negative rate.”

    Now all of the pieces of the global elite plan are converging.

    The IMF SDR issuance will reliquify global central banks that cannot print dollars. Then CBDCs will be used to eliminate cash.

    Once the cattle (that’s us) have been herded into the digital slaughterhouse, we will be told to “use it or lose it” when it comes to our own money. In other words, either we spend the money, or the government will take it away.

    Of course, the spending can be channeled into politically correct causes by excluding unpopular vendors such as gun dealers or conservative social media platforms from the payment system. This represents total domination of human behavior through world money + digital currencies + confiscation.

    NIAID Statement on AstraZeneca Vaccine

    Late Monday, the Data and Safety Monitoring Board (DSMB) notified NIAID, BARDA, and AstraZeneca that it was concerned by information released by AstraZeneca on initial data from its COVID-19 vaccine clinical trial. The DSMB expressed concern that AstraZeneca may have included outdated information from that trial, which may have provided an incomplete view of the efficacy data. We urge the company to work with the DSMB to review the efficacy data and ensure the most accurate, up-to-date efficacy data be made public as quickly as possible.

    Authorization and guidelines for use of the vaccine in the United States will be determined by the Food and Drug Administration and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention after thorough review of the data by independent advisory committees.

      World Health Organization (WHO) Director-General Tedros Adhanom spoke about the unequal distribution of COVID-19 vaccines at a press briefing in Geneva on Monday.

      Tedros also stated that more producers of the COVID vaccine should follow AstraZeneca’s example of licensing technology to other manufactures, highlighting that the company was not trying to profit from its product. “It’s the only vaccine developer that has made a significant contribution to vaccine equity, by licensing its technology to several other companies.”

      AstraZeneca and Oxford University released data from a clinical trial on Monday showing that their coronavirus vaccine was 79 percent effective in combatting the COVID-19 strain.

        A nasal spray that will be marketed as capable of killing 99.9 percent of virus particles has started rolling off production lines in an Israeli factory.

        The spray could have prevented much of the world’s COVID-19 infection, its inventor, Dr. Gilly Regev, told The Times of Israel.

        “We are hoping that our nasal spray will now save many lives of people in countries that are waiting for the vaccine,” said Regev, an Israeli-raised biochemist who co-founded the company SaNOtize and developed the spray in Canada. “This will be affordable and can be used for prevention, to protect from any respiratory viral infection.”

        She said that it has been shown to be effective in the lab against a wide range of viruses, and said that new variants of the coronavirus won’t interfere with its effectiveness, emphasizing: “It contains a broad spectrum antiviral which kills all viruses and all variants.”

        Regev called Enovid a “hand sanitizer equivalent for the nose,” and said that it creates a physical barrier in the nasal passages to stop viruses along with a “chemical barrier” of nitric oxide, which is known for its antimicrobial qualities. “The nitric oxide means this is a special spray that doesn’t just block viruses but actually kills them,” she said.

        Israel will become the first country where the spray is sold. The Health Ministry has given interim approval for its sale as a medical device suitable for people age 12 and up – meaning it could be used by many who aren’t yet approved for coronavirus vaccines – with packaging stating: “Scientifically tested to kill 99.9% of viruses within 2 minutes.”

      The coronavirus outbreak made household names of companies like Moderna Inc. and BioNTech SE, whose shots offered hope for ending the pandemic. Now a new wave of vaccines is on the horizon that may get the world over the finish line of inoculation.

      Protecting 7.7 billion people is a herculean task. There are more than 250 vaccine candidates in the wings to take on the challenge, including 82 in human studies. In addition to sheer numbers, they offer unique benefits compared to the dozen now available.

      The next generation includes shots built from the coronavirus’s genetic material and nasal sprays that defend without using a needle at all. They are stealthy, faster to make and easier to ship, offering workarounds for hurdles that limit the impact of the first inoculations to reach the market.

      “It’s absolutely essential to share vaccine products with the entire world as quickly as possible,” said Richard Hatchett, chief executive officer of the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations, which accelerates development of vaccines, including those against Covid-19. “The virus will have less opportunity to evolve, and it will slow down the rates of mutation that we’re seeing.”

      Here’s what you need to know about the next wave of vaccines:

      One-Shot Wonders

      With most Covid vaccines requiring two shots, those that need only one will simplify the process. This approach is known as viral vector technology. It uses an unrelated virus, one that’s been modified so it doesn’t cause infection, to insert the directions for making the coronavirus’ spike protein into healthy cells. Those cells then crank out large amounts of the spike protein, triggering an immune response. Of the dozen candidates in human studies, most involve one injection.

      Response Trigger

      The most common type of vaccine now in human trials—accounting for nearly one-third of those in development—protein subunit shots use a fragment of the virus to generate an immune response. It’s usually the famed spike protein that dots the surface of the coronavirus, combined with a chemical known as an adjuvant to deepen the reaction.

      Virus Decoy

      These vaccines contain a coronavirus decoy—a protein shell whose shape closely mimics the virus without any of its genetic material. The so-called virus-like particle is still able to generate an immune response against the real thing.

      DNA Building Block

      Like the breakthrough mRNA vaccines from Pfizer Inc., BioNTech and Moderna, DNA vaccines insert a bit of genetic code into a human cell. The cell becomes a factory, producing the coronavirus spike protein to elicit an immune response. The DNA vaccines have to take an extra step, though. They must convert the genetic material into mRNA, which contains directions for making the proteins. Should a vaccine using this approach get to the market, it would be the first of its kind.

      • Israeli company claims oral COVID-19 vaccine on its way

        Oramed Pharmaceuticals Inc., a clinical-stage pharmaceutical company based on technology developed by Hadassah-University Medical Center, announced over the weekend a joint venture with India-based Premas Biotech to develop a novel oral vaccine. Together they formed the company Oravax Medical Inc. The vaccine is based on Oramed’s “POD” oral delivery technology and Premas’s vaccine technology.

        Oramed’s technology can be used to orally administer a number of protein-based therapies, which would otherwise be delivered by injection.       Scientists tracing the origins of the Covid-19 pandemic believe they’ve identified a possible transmission source: China’s thriving wildlife trade.

      The highly anticipated findings from experts convened by the World Health Organization and the Chinese government are expected to show parallels to the spawning in 2002 of severe acute respiratory syndrome, or SARS, a bat-borne coronavirus spread by civets that killed 800 people. The path trod by SARS-CoV-2 — as the new coronavirus is known — before it emerged in central China in December 2019 remains a mystery, though it’s one researchers say can be solved.

      In Wuhan, where the first cluster of cases occurred, scientists involved in the hunt identified four hypotheses to explain the virus’s genesis, including two that stoked controversy even as they were deemed unlikely. The idea that the virus was introduced via contaminated food or packaging is one embraced in Beijing, while the Trump administration said it may have been the result of a laboratory accident. But the most plausible theory, say experts involved in the mission, concerns China’s wildlife trade for food, furs and traditional medicine, a business worth about 520 billion yuan ($80 billion) in 2016.

      Live animals susceptible to coronavirus infection were present at the Huanan food market in downtown Wuhan, the city where the first major Covid-19 outbreak was detected. It’s possible they acted as conduits for the virus, carrying it from bats — likely the primary source — to humans, says Peter Daszak, a zoologist who was part of the joint research effort, which saw international experts visit Wuhan earlier this year after months of stonewalling by the Chinese government.

      “The main conclusion from this stage of the work — and it’s not over yet of course — is that the exact same pathway by which SARS emerged was alive and well for the emergence of Covid,” said Daszak, who is also president of EcoHealth Alliance, a New York-based nonprofit that works to prevent viral outbreaks around the world.

      Farmed and wild-caught civets, a small, nocturnal mammal consumed in China, were blamed for spreading the SARS virus in a market in the southern province of Guangdong in 2003. Scientists later found the infection originated in horseshoe bats, a natural reservoir of coronaviruses.

      The two species likely collided in markets where live animals are caged in crowded conditions, potentially allowing the bat-borne virus to adapt and amplify before it spilled over to humans, initially among workers and those handling the animals.

      Scientists working on the origin hunt say a similar scenario may have played out with Covid-19. A study of the first 99 patients treated at an infectious diseases hospital in Wuhan found half were linked to the Huanan seafood market, which also reportedly sold live animals, some illegally captured in the wild and slaughtered in front of customers.

      Still, questions remain about the market’s ultimate role.

      Testing after it was shut down in December 2019 failed to turn up any infected animals. Contaminated surfaces were widespread, compatible with the virus being introduced via infected people or tainted animal products. Compounding the confusion, the first known Covid-19 patient developed symptoms four days before the earliest cases tied to the market.

      The WHO research team found evidence that wildlife farms in southern China were supplying vendors at the Huanan market, Daszak told the U.S.’ National Public Radio. It also found a route from southern provinces such as Yunnan — where the closest known coronavirus to SARS-CoV-2 was found in horseshoe bats in 2013 — to Wuhan, he said on the Chatham House webinar.

      “It provides a link and a pathway by which a virus could convincingly spill over from wildlife into either people or animals farmed in the region, and then shipped into a market by some means,” Daszak said. “That’s a really important clue. Those beginnings of an understanding of a pathway need to be followed up pretty rapidly.”

    According to Politico, the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) is paying Elias to represent the campaign of Rita Hart, a Democrat who lost by six votes to Rep. Mariannette Miller-Marks.

    Hart has appealed to Congress to adjudicate the outcome of the election after state officials declared Miller-Marks the winner. Hart claims that Iowa officials failed to count 22 ballots that would have swayed the election in her favor.

    San Antonio Fox affiliate KABB ran disturbing footage last Thursday of migrants drowning as they attempted to cross the Rio Grande.

    Jesus Vargas, a fisherman who captured the incident on his cell phone, told authorities he saw three people — two teenagers and a woman — in the water near the Texas border town of Laredo, with only their heads bobbing above the surface. “You don’t have life jackets, nothing? They’re drowning, these guys!” Vargas can be heard shouting to U.S. Border Patrol agents standing nearby. He used his fishing rod to save one boy, who is about 13, but he claims three others drowned as he looked on.

    The incident occurred following Border Patrol agents foiling of a human smuggling attempt, prompting migrants who hadn’t been detained to attempt to swim to safety.

    Since Vargas posted his footage on social media, he has received calls from families all over Central America asking for descriptions of those who drowned in attempts to determine whether they were relatives.
