Most notably, Islam and its effects on Classical Civilization, and various forms of leftism from Soviet era communism, to postmodernism and all the flavours of galloping statism and totalitarianism such as Nazism and Fascism which are increasingly snuffing out the classical liberalism which created our near, miraculous civilization the West has been building since the time of Socrates.

This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

      Man Claims To Be Robinhood Employee & Says The White House Pressured Halt of GameStop Trading

      Thursday morning, Robinhood, one of the top free trading apps, put restrictions on trading $GME (GameStopCorp.) This action was immediately met with backlash across the internet. One Reddit user, Odin19199, claiming to be an employee of Robinhood, stated that the company was pressured to halt GameStop trading by Sequoia Capital and the White House. These allegations have not been independently confirmed by Breaking911.

      In the post, he alleges that he overheard that “Vladimir, yes founder Vladimir [Tenev], and the C-Suite, received calls from Sequoia Capital and the White House that pressured into closing trading on GME.”

      The user then goes on to state that he has information and documentation regarding the situation that he is planning to provide to Project Veritas and lawyer Glen Greenwald.

      The newly-confirmed Treasury Secretary, Janice Yellen, has financial ties to one of the hedge funds that came to the aid of Melvin Capital, one of the companies that saw large losses after GameStop’s market surge. Yellen’s financial disclosure shows her receiving around $800,000 from Citadel for speaking fees.

      White House Press Secretary, Jen Psaki, stated on Wednesday that Yellen is ‘monitoring’ the GameStop stock situation.

      New York Attorney General, Letitia James, released a statement Thursday announcing that “we are aware of concerns raised regarding activity on the Robinhood app,” and that “we are reviewing the matter.”

      Citadel, a hedge fund founded by Ken Griffin, a major GOP donor, paid Yellen $810,000 to speak at several events from October 2019 to October 2020, according to Yellen’s filings with the Office of Government Ethics.

      The Chicago-based hedge fund paid Yellen $292,500 for a speech on Oct. 17, 2019, $180,000 for one on Dec. 3, 2019, and $337,500 to speak at a series of webinars held from Oct. 9-27, 2020.

    2 Canada Post ?w?o?r?k?e?r?s? useful idiots in Regina suspended after refusing to deliver Epoch Times

    Two Canada Post workers in Regina were temporarily suspended earlier this month after they refused to deliver the latest sample edition of the Epoch Times.

    The head of the local CUPW union that represents postal workers said both mail carriers were escorted from the building when they informed their supervisors they were unwilling to deliver the publication. They were suspended without pay for three days.

    According to its sample issue, the Epoch Times was created to “bring honest and uncensored news to people oppressed by deception and tyranny in communist China.”

    Kasich, a “Republican,” who unsuccessfully ran against former President Trump in 2016 and endorsed Joe Biden in 2020, suggested to Lemon that supporters must confess their sins before being welcomed back into the fold.

    In other words, confess that the Capitol riots were as bad as the media portrays them and the whole event was all Donald Trump’s fault.

  21. Two years ago, I saw a young deer falling down, he kept falling down, his left front leg would buckle. He bedded down a ways up the bluff, on a little level spot. He eventually had trouble getting up, so I took him large amounts of food twice a day. He would lick the snow and stayed there for a couple of weeks. I called him Chester, after the man on the tv show “Gun Smoke”
    Eventually he could get up and he walked throwing his left front leg out in a sideways move. He got better.
    I have not seen Chester, people told me the wolves would get him or the hunters.
    I am sitting about three feet from the window ledge reading, and just a while ago I looked up and there was standing this huge buck, his nose about a foot from the window. He took a step backwards and I realized it was Chester.
    I made him some porridge sandwiches, that he loves and gave some cut up apples.
    He stayed a while, then walked up the bluff and bedded down on his old spot.

  42. Air raid sirens heard in Tehran as Turkish airline flight diverted to Baku

    Air raid sirens were sounded in and around parts of Iran’s capital Tehran, according to multiple local reports and activists.

    Iran International news outlet reported that some Iranian activists on social media were sharing videos of the siren being heard for several minutes in western Tehran.

    According to Aurora Intel, the air raid sirens were heard in the Shahr Ara and Marzdaran areas in western Tehran.

    A Turkish Airlines flight from Istanbul to Tehran circled above Iran’s capital before being diverted away. A Flight Radar 24 path of the airplane showed it changed its flight path to Baku during the same time as reports of the sirens were heard.

    “Disruption in the sound system of an organization was the reason for the siren heard in western Tehran,” the semi-official ISNA news agency quoted Hamidreza Goudarzi, Tehran Governor’s Deputy for Security, as saying. Goudarzi did not specify which organization.

    “There are no security problems and people should not worry,” Goudarzi added.

    Law enforcement in Washington state on Thursday cleared a homeless camp that was dubbed an “occupation,” after the far-left Antifa network called for members to descend on the camp and confront officers.

    Bellingham Mayor Seth Fleetwood gave permission to police to clear the camp a day earlier than was previously announced because of information indicating calls to action were made to activists in the Pacific Northwest to try to stop the clearance.

    “We took urgent, emergency action this morning outside Bellingham City Hall to protect the safety of all. … We acted today to reduce the risk of further injury, violence, and vandalism by those who are using the plight of our community’s most vulnerable to further their own agenda,” Fleetwood told reporters during a press conference.

    Texas Republican Gov. Greg Abbott on Thursday vowed to oppose what he called the Biden administration’s bid to destroy jobs with its volley of actions targeting the oil and gas industry.

    Abbott signed an executive order during a press conference in Odessa on Thursday, which directed all state agencies to sue the Biden administration for any federal actions that threaten the Lone Star state’s energy sector.

    “Texas is going to protect the oil and gas industry from any type of hostile attack launched from Washington D.C.,” Abbott said. “President Biden’s embrace of the green new deal is a job killer in Texas. It also takes a wrecking ball to the energy independence that Texas has been able to provide to the United States of America and Texas is not going to stand idly by and watch the Biden administration kill jobs in Midland, in Odessa or any other place across the entire region,” he added.

    Abbott’s order (pdf) came on the heels of a series of executive actions taken by President Joe Biden in the name of fighting “climate change.” These include the decision to revoke authorization for the Keystone pipeline, the decision to rejoin the Paris Climate Accord, and a moratorium on issuing new oil and gas leases on federal land and waters.

    As many in the international community express more and more concern about the economic and humanitarian crisis in the Hamas-controlled Gaza Strip, the Palestinian terror groups there seem less and less concerned about improving the living conditions of their people.
