Reader’s Links for October 27, 2020

Each day at just after midnight Eastern, a post like this one is created for contributors and readers of this site to upload news links and video links on the issues that concern this site. Most notably, Islam and its effects on Classical Civilization, and various forms of leftism from Soviet era communism, to postmodernism and all the flavours of galloping statism and totalitarianism such as Nazism and Fascism which are increasingly snuffing out the classical liberalism which created our near, miraculous civilization the West has been building since the time of Socrates.

This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

This is the new Samizdat. We must use it while we can.

Erdogan now wants to sue Wilders:

    https://www.politico.eu/article/erdogan-sues-dutch-far-right-mp-wilders-over-cartoon/
Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdo?an is suing Dutch far-right politician Geert Wilders for posting a cartoon of him on Twitter.
The state news agency Anadolu reported on Tuesday that Erdo?an’s lawyer filed a criminal complaint to the Ankara prosecutor’s office for “insulting the president,” a crime under Turkish law.
On Saturday, Wilders shared a cartoon depicting Erdo?an as wearing a bomb-shaped hat featuring the logo of his ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP), along with the headline “terrorist.”
Erdo?an already hit back at Wilders over the cartoon this weekend, saying: “There is this so-called Dutch deputy who speaks ill of us. Unlike him, we don’t condone racism, and fascists have no place in Turkey.”
Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavu?o?lu also condemned the cartoon, saying that “the racist losers of Europe have shown their true colors when faced with reality.”
Wilders — whose far-right Freedom Party (PVV) is the biggest opposition force in the Dutch parliament — in turn called Erdo?an a “loser” on Twitter. “So the man who calls me a fascist and previously called the whole of the Netherlands fascist and a remnant of Nazism is now going to press charges against me? The world upside down,” he added.
The row comes after Erdo?an sparked a fierce backlash from European leaders this weekend when he questioned French President Emmanuel Macron’s mental health over his stance on Islam.
Since Erdo?an took office as president in 2014, thousands of people have been sued and convicted for “insulting the president.” Last month, Turkish news outlet BirGün put the number of people put on trial for “insulting” Erdo?an at more than 29,000.

  2. Looks like Erdogan wants a SA (Sturm Abteilung) for his poltiical party:

Erdogan accused of wanting to build a loyal ‘militia’
    https://www.arabnews.pk/node/1688031/middle-east
Turkey’s parliament passed a controversial bill on Wednesday giving neighborhood patrols greater powers, with critics accusing President Recep Tayyip Erdogan of wanting to build a loyal “militia.”
The new law gives “nightwatchmen,” who walk the streets at night to report burglaries and disturbances, almost the same powers as police.
They will now be allowed to carry firearms and have the powers to stop and search people.
With more than 28,000 members, the nightwatchmen institution — which is attached to the interior ministry and dates back more than 100 years — has grown considerably after an attempted coup in July 2016 against Erdogan.
The bill’s debate in parliament triggered heated exchanges, with deputies even coming to blows during a feisty session on Tuesday.
Erdogan’s AKP party, which put forward the bill, says the new rules will enable the nightwatchmen to more effectively help law enforcement by thwarting burglaries and preventing assaults on the streets.
In old Turkish films the guards are portrayed as benevolent uncles patrolling the streets with a whistle between their lips, on the lookout for troublemakers.
But the opposition accused Erdogan of authoritarianism by setting up a loyal armed force.
“They are using the institution of nightwatchmen to set up a militia,” Mahir Polat from the main opposition CHP party said on Tuesday, adding the police should be reinforced if needed.

Censorship of Russian media outlets by foreign Internet companies has become systematic, with Google, Facebook and Twitter restricting access to materials of around 20 Russian outlets, the Russian communications watchdog, Roskomnadzor, said on Tuesday.

“Foreign Internet companies’ censorship of Russian media has become systemic, Google (YouTube), Facebook and Twitter restrict access to materials of around 20 Russian media outlets, including RIA Novosti, Russia Today, Sputnik and Russia-1,” Roskomnadzor said in a statement.

As a result of these foreign attempts to control the Russian media, Russians may fail to receive objective information, the watchdog specified.

“Multiple requests to stop the censorship of Russian media outlets are being ignored,” Roskomnadzor went on to say.

The communications watchdog added it had submitted to both chambers of the Russian parliament proposals on enshrining in the national legislation measures that may be implemented to retaliate to the facts of censorship.

Roskomnadzor also reported an increase in the spread of fake news by foreign platforms, such as YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.”

  7. ‘France Is a Muslim Country’ – French Ambassador in the Aftermath of Bestial Beheading (sputniknews, Oct 27, 2020)
    https://sputniknews.com/europe/202010271080886696-france-is-a-muslim-country–french-ambassador-in-the-aftermath-of-bestial-beheading/

“…While President Emmanuel Macron’s verbal attacks on political Islam stirred a diplomatic conflict with Turkey and led to protests and a nascent boycott of French goods in the Arab world, French Ambassador to Sweden Etienne de Gonneville firmly rejected the idea that there is a risk of a conflict between France and the Muslim world.

Furthermore, de Gonneville went so far as to call France itself a Muslim country in an interview with Swedish national broadcaster SVT.

“First, France is a Muslim country,” Etienne de Gonneville proclaimed. “Islam is the second-largest religion in France. We have anywhere between 4 and 8 million French citizens who have a Muslim heritage,” he underscored.

The ambassador emphasised that it was “al-Qaeda propaganda” that was forcing Muslims to commit acts of terrorism, not Islam as such.

When anchor Anders Holmberg suggested that even Muslims who are not radical are offended by images of Prophet Muhammad, De Gonneville retorted that this was a “loaded and morally ambiguous question”.

According to de Gonneville, the main topic of the discussion is terrorism and not Islam, and placing the emphasis otherwise would be wrong.

“The media must know how to address the issue of Islamic terrorism and not fall into the trap of that idea that it would supposedly offend Islam. Islam is very diverse. Those who we hear now are speaking for these radical Islamist outfits. We should not give them more weight than they have. They are a tiny minority,” the ambassador said….”

  8. Special Forces Reportedly ‘On Alert for Jihadis Disguised as Migrants’ on UK Ships (sputniknews, Oct 27, 2020)
    https://sputniknews.com/uk/202010271080889494-special-forces-reportedly-on-alert-for-jihadis-disguised-as-migrants-on-uk-ships/

“The Liberian-flagged oil tanker Nave Andromeda was stormed by UK special forces on 25 October after the ship was hijacked by stowaways off the coast of the Isle of Wight, in the English Channel, with police saying that seven men were taken into custody.

UK special forces are reportedly on alert for jihadis that might be disguised as migrants and asylum seekers in the wake of Sunday’s incident involving the storming of the SBS oil tanker Nave Andromeda to tackle seven violent stowaways, writes the Mirror.

After an operation carried out by heavily-armed anti-terror troops, the apprehended fugitives now face the possibility of life behind bars after allegedly threatening the 22-man vessel near the Isle of Wight, in the English Channel.

A security source was cited by the outlet as saying:

“Special forces have been practising for an event like this for many years but lately their training has increased as it is thought to be only a matter of time before there is a more serious taking of a ship, possibly by terrorists.”

Another expert, Rear Admiral Dr. Chris Parry, spoke on Good Morning Britain to warn that the next hijacking could involve terrorists:

“Next time it may not be just stowaways. It could be terrorists, it could be people smugglers or anything. We’ve got to approach this problem in a much more sophisticated way, we’ve got to up our intelligence.”

Parry added that the era of “mass migration” brought with it a whole range of fresh challenges.

“We’re seeing more and more of these incidents occurring around the world and this is the second incident in our own waters in a couple of years now.”
The former Royal Navy officer warned:

“It ended well but if they had been armed or carrying explosives it would have been a very ¬high-risk operation.”

    Stowaway Incident
A group of stowaways on board the Nave Andromeda oil tanker hijacked the vessel and reportedly verbally threatened the crew at around 9 a.m. on 25 October.

Just several hours later, UK special forces took control of the 42,000-tonne ship after the mayday alert, detaining the seven stowaways on suspicion of seizing or exercising control of a ship by use of threats or force.

16 members of the SBS, two Wildcats, two Merlins and with support from HMS Richmond, took NINE Minutes to board and detain Seven stowaways / hijackers and rescue the crew of MV Nave Andromeda. All on board are reported safe. Job well done.!

?As the suspects were detained under maritime laws they potentially face a maximum sentence of life imprisonment.

In a similar incident of migrants allegedly ghosting on UK vessels, four fugitives were removed from a cargo ship called the Alessandra Lehmann near Brighton on Thursday after boarding in Rouen, France, according to the Mirror. The stowaways were only spotted when the vessel reached Britain.

In response, the UK Home Office was cited as saying:

“We are fixing our broken asylum system… The new system will be fairer and firmer… And it will stop exploitation by those who come here illegally and often make unfounded or meritless claims to remain.”

The United Kingdom has faced a spike in the influx of refugees crossing the English Channel from France this year, with the number of clandestine arrivals to the country currently exceeding 300 per day – the highest numbers on record.”

  9. Lockdown BACKLASH: Violent protests sweep across Europe – police deployed in major cities (express, Oct 27, 2020)

  10. Pakistan explosion: HUGE blast kills at least 7 people at Islamic seminary (express, Oct 27, 2020)
    https://www.express.co.uk/news/uk/1352619/pakistan-explosion-peshawar-bomb-death-toll-islamic-seminary

“AN EXPLOSION at a religious seminary in the city of Peshawar, Pakistan has killed at least seven people and wounded more than 80, police and hospital officials have confirmed.

Tariq Burki, director the city’s Lady Reading Hospital, had earlier said four of the seven people dead from the bomb blast were children, but later said four children were wounded and all those killed were adults. He added five of the 83 people wounded in the explosion are in a critical condition. The hospital released a list which showed more than a dozen to those wounded are from Afghanistan.

Nobody has yet claimed responsibility for the bomb in the northwestern city, near the border with Afghanistan.

A police officer, who declined to be identified, said: “Unknown people planted explosives in a plastic bag.”…”

    • At least eight people were killed and 123 injured in an explosion at a religious school in Peshawar on Tuesday, according to local authorities.

According to reports citing Peshawar Police Chief Mohammad Ali Gandapur, the blast was caused by an IED with 5-6 kilogrammes of explosives inside an abandoned bag.

  11. Black Lives Matter Group Applies to Become Political Party in the UK (breitbart, Oct 27, 2020)
    https://www.breitbart.com/europe/2020/10/27/black-lives-matter-applies-to-become-political-party-in-the-united-kingdom/

“A Black Lives Matter group formally applied to become a political party in the United Kingdom on Monday, confirming suspicions that the far-left movement indeed has political aspirations in Britain, despite claims that the movement was non-partisan.

On October 26th, an application was filed with the Electoral Commission for Black Lives Matter to become a fully-fledged political party throughout the entire UK should the commission accept the request. The group will need to file a party constitution, pay £150, and submit any logos before being accepted.

In response to the move, political commentator and former teacher Calvin Robinson — who is himself mixed race and has suffered racist abuse in the past for failing to hold left-wing political positions — told Breitbart London: “There surely can no longer be any doubt, Black Lives Matter is a political movement with a political agenda. Anyone who still protests under that banner must be subscribing to their anti-British principles.”

Former Brexit Party MEP Martin Daubney added on social media: “Many of us who said this was their aim were dismissed as extremists, but it was inevitable all along!”

The Black Lives Matter movement saw a resurgence in the UK following the death of George Floyd in America, staging mass protests across the country, with many devolving into violent confrontations with police. The group was also behind a widespread iconoclastic campaign to tear down and deface statues honouring British historical figures.

In June, at the height of the furore and chaos, Brexit Leader Nigel Farage described Black Lives Matter as “a dangerous, Marxist organisation, hell-bent on anarchy, and we need to wake up, get some facts into our heads, and understand what it is we’re fighting.”

A spokesman for the Black Lives Matter affiliate in Britain (UKBLM) denied any connection or knowledge of the group that filed to become a political party, telling the Daily Mail: “We has absolutely no connection, affiliations or other and no individual or group has informed or made us aware of their intentions of forming a political party under the name of Black Lives Matter. It is not us.”

“We are operating as non-political, non-partisan, non-violence Black Lives Matter platform. Some content published on this website may have political elements by the nature of a society and state governed under a system of democracy; however we operate in a humanitarian capacity and concern before all else,” the spokesman added.

In the UK, there are many splinter Black Lives Matter groups, and the leadership of UKBLM has remained anonymous, meaning that another faction in the country may be behind the party application without the spokesman who talked to the Daily Mail even being aware.

In June, a self-described black radical protester addressed a “conspiracy about Black Lives Matter UK”, saying: “They are real, they are black, and they are in support of all black life”.

She claimed that “our organisation has been in contact with them”, adding that BLMUK is “facilitating the protests but cannot reveal themselves, because there is a great threat from police interception and right-wing interception.”

A common feature of Black Lives Matter protests in London has been the consistent demonisation of Britain, the United States, and Western Civilisation as a whole.

In a telling example of this, a leftist speaker in a Che Guevara t-shirt at a BLM rally in August asked the crowd: “Are you loyal to Britain?”

The BLM activists all chanted back “No!” in reply.

“Good, I hope not, because the backbone of our country — what made it an imperialist country was the blood of black people. That’s how Britain was built,” he explained, adding: “We only have contempt for the state, contempt for the police, and contempt for the ideology that formed Britain.”

There has also been a strain of anti-white racism at BLM demonstrations in the British capital.

In a protest in July, a mixed-race LGBT activist said that it was necessary to view issues facing black people as well as LGBT issues through the leftist prism of intersectionality, which he said: “means recognising that there is one common enemy: the white man. The systems that they use are capitalism, patriarchy, and fascism.”

“All of these groups of people, the issues they face, it all comes from the same people: white men. So we need to get rid of them,” he said, adding: “kill the rich”.

The move by the BLM group to register as a political party in the UK will likely put pressure on the left-wing Labour Party, which has attempted to move to the political centre since the ousting of ageing socialist Jeremy Corbyn as the leader of the party.

Corbyn’s replacement as leader, Sir Keir Starmer, initially backed the BLM protests, even going so far as to photograph himself ‘taking the knee‘ in the Houses of Parliament.

Starmer later backtracked, however, saying that he rejected the Black Lives Matter organisation’s goals, in particular, their call to defund the police.

In July, at a protest in Hyde Park, a BLM activist was seen leading the demonstrators in a chant of “Fuck Keir Starmer!”

“Labour has done nothing, people. They barely do anything. They don’t really care about us. We need to take our vote somewhere else,” the leftist activist proclaimed.”

  12. Swedish Border Police Boss Admits Illegal Migrant Numbers Far Above Official Stats (breitbart, Oct 27, 2020)
    https://www.breitbart.com/europe/2020/10/27/swedish-border-police-head-illegal-migrant-numbers-above-stats/

“While no authority has listed the exact number of illegal migrants in Sweden, the head of the Border Police has claimed the number is well above the established 12,000 migrants wanted for staying illegally.

Patrik Engström, head of the border police at the National Operations Department (Noa) stated that border police have no active measures to find migrants who have gone underground and disappeared off the radar of authorities.

“We register those wanted. If tips come in, we follow them up. Otherwise, we work with our regular control work where we find some of them,” he told the Swedish news service TT.

In 2015, Sweden saw 163,000 migrants arrive during the height of the migrant crisis and 47,000 were rejected for residency but the Swedish Migration Board has no idea exactly how many still reside in the country illegally.

At least 8,000 are registered with the Migration Board as they have tried to apply for asylum a second time, while 13,000 live without residency permits in various municipalities, and 14,000 are simply missing and unaccounted for.

“The conclusion is that there are likely to be far more people than the 12,000 who are more or less constantly wanted for staying illegally in the country,” Engström said and noted the difficulty Sweden has in getting some countries to take back their nationals.

Many countries refuse to take back their citizens unless the citizens are going back voluntarily. “This means that people who are to be deported to these countries largely decide for themselves whether or not a deportation can be carried out,” Engström said.

He also noted that illegal migrants wanted by police are not only at risk of being victims of crime but also of falling into criminality themselves. “Many people feel that they have very little to lose,” he said.

According to TT, cases against illegal migrants and those without residency permits are dropped after four years whether the individual has left Sweden or not.

Over the last decade, Sweden has granted 1.2 million residency permits, which has led to one-fifth of the population now being foreign-born and has been the main driver for the country’s recent population growth.

As a result of travel bans and restrictions to stop the spread of the Wuhan coronavirus this year, Sweden has seen its lowest population growth in 15 years.”

    https://abcnews.go.com/International/wireStory/iran-summons-french-diplomat-macrons-remarks-73850026

“Around 10,000 people in Bangladesh rallied in the South Asian nation’s capital on Tuesday to protest France’s president and his staunch support of secular laws that deem caricatures depicting the Prophet Muhammad as protected under freedom of speech.

Protesters from the conservative Islami Andolon Bangladesh group, which supports the introduction of Islamic law in the Muslim-majority country, carried banners and placards reading: “All Muslims of the world, unite” and “Boycott France.” It was the largest protest yet against the cartoons in recent days.

Some carried portraits of French President Emmanuel Macron with an “X” on his face. One protester carried a cutout image of the French president with shoes around his neck as a sign of insult.

The issue has once again come to light in recent days following a gruesome beheading near Paris of a French teacher who showed caricatures of the Prophet Muhammad in class. The 18-year-old Chechen refugee who carried out the attack was later shot dead by police…”

  17. Turkey’s Erdogan sues Dutch anti-Islam lawmaker for insults (abcnews, Oct 27, 2020)
    https://abcnews.go.com/International/wireStory/turkeys-erdogan-sues-dutch-anti-islam-lawmaker-insults-73852137

“Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is suing Dutch lawmaker Geert Wilders after the anti-Islam politician posted a series of tweets against the Turkish leader, including one that described him as a “terrorist.”

The state-run Anadolu Agency said Erdogan’s lawyer on Tuesday filed a criminal complaint against Wilders at the Ankara Chief Prosecutor’s office for “insulting the president” — a crime in Turkey punishable by up to four years in prison.

Wilders posted a cartoon depicting Erdogan wearing a bomb-resembling hat on his head, with the comment: “terrorist.”

Wilders continued posting tweets targeting Erdogan this week amid a growing quarrel between Turkey and European countries sparked by Erdogan’s sharp comments against French President Emmanuel Macron, including remarks questioning Macron’s mental health over his stance on Islam.

Erdogan has persistently sued people for alleged insults since he took office as president in 2014. Thousands have been convicted. More than 29,000 people were prosecuted on charges of insulting Erdogan last year, according to the Birgun newspaper.

The complaint against Wilders, whose political career has been based largely on his strident anti-Islam rhetoric, accused him of using language “insulting the honor and dignity of our president and of targeting Erdogan’s personality, dignity and reputation,” according to Anadolu.

Wilders, who leads the largest opposition party in the Dutch Parliament, shrugged off the Turkish criminal complaint and described Erdogan as a “loser.” Wilders has lived under tight security for 16 years due to death threats following his anti-Islam rhetoric.

On Monday, Turkey’s Daily Sabah newspaper, which is close to Erdogan, printed pictures of Wilders and Macron, with the headline: “the two faces of hatred and racism in Europe.””

The Danish Refugee Council (DRC) has documented a series of brutal pushbacks on the Bosnia-Croatian border involving dozens of asylum seekers between 12 and 16 October.
The Guardian has obtained photographs and medical reports that support the accounts, described by aid workers as “sickening” and “shocking”.
“The testimonies collected from victims of pushbacks are horrifying,’’ said Charlotte Slente, DRC secretary general. “More than 75 persons in one week have all independently reported inhumane treatment, savage beatings and even sexual abuse.’’
According to migrants’ accounts, the pushbacks occurred in Croatian territory over the border from Velika Kladuša in Bosnia, close to Šiljkova?a – a tented forest settlement of around 700 refugees and migrants.
“All of the persons interviewed by DRC bore visible injuries from beatings (bruises and cuts), as a result of alleged Croatian police violence,” reads the DRC report. “According to the statements provided by interviewed victims (with visible evidence of their injuries), pushbacks included brutal and extremely violent behaviour, degrading treatment, and theft and destruction of personal belongings.” One of the testimonies includes a report of serious sexual abuse.
On 12 October, five Afghans, including two minors, crossed the Croatian border near the Šturli? settlement. On the same day, near Novo Selo, an uniformed police officer stopped them and then called two more officers. One of the migrants ran, and the other four were detained at a police station. Two days later they were taken to court, where they say they were to “appear as witnesses in the case launched against the fifth member of the group – the one who escaped”, who had been accused of violent behaviour towards police.
The asylum seekers told the DRC that the original officers then took them “to some unknown location, where they were put in a van in the charge of 10 armed people, dressed in black and with full face balaclavas, army boots and with flashlights on their foreheads”. Their money was taken, their belongings torched and they were ordered to strip to their underwear. The migrants allege that they were forced to lie face down on the ground.
“One man in black was standing on the victim’s hands, preventing any movements,” reads the report. “Legs were also restrained. Once the person was hampered, the beating started. They were punched, kicked, whipped and beaten.” Medical reports confirm that migrants’ injuries are consistent with the use of a whip.
One migrant, MK, says at this point he was sexually assaulted by a man using a branch.
Mustafa Hodži?, a doctor in Velika Kladuša, examined the man. “The patient had wounds all over the back of his body, on his back and legs. I can confirm the signs of clear sexual violence … I have never seen anything like it. Even if it isn’t the first time as a doctor [that] I have seen signs of sexual violence on migrants, which, according the asylum seekers’ accounts, were perpetrated on Croatian territory by Croatian officials dressed in black uniforms.”

  20. October 26 2020 Explosion at Amsterdam home previously struck by bullets
    https://nltimes.nl/2020/10/26/explosion-amsterdam-home-previously-struck-bullets
There was an explosion at a home on Dijkmanshuizenstraat in Amsterdam early on Monday morning. This same home was targeted in a drive-by shooting in July, and their neighbors were the target of another explosion last week.
Monday’s explosion happened at around 3:30 a.m., the police said in a statement. Locals were woken by a loud bang and saw a scooter leave the scene. The home’s front door sustained significant damage. The police believe fireworks were used for the blast.
Last week Wednesday, October 21, the authorities also responded to Dijkmanshuizenstraat after an explosion at around 4:00 a.m. This blast was not at the same home as Monday’s explosion, but the police are taking into account that the two incidents are connected.
The home targeted on Monday, was also the target of a drive-by shooting in July. Locals were woken by multiple gunshots at around 5:00 a.m. At least four bullets were fired at the home’s kitchen window.
So far no one was injured in these violent incidents, but local residents are concerned.
“There was another huge bang just after three o’clock last night. At that house that had already been shot at and where the neighbor’s door was damaged by fireworks last week,” one local said to AT5. “We as local residents are afraid. Why is there no CCTV or why is the mayor not closing the house?”
“It is very scary. As local residents, we want measures to be taken. If this had happened at a pub, for example, it would have been closed by the mayor a long time ago,” said the residents, who asked the Amsterdam broadcaster not to reveal their name.

    (Bloomberg) —

The new coronavirus may remain infectious for weeks on banknotes, glass and other common surfaces, according to research by Australia’s top biosecurity laboratory that highlights risks from paper currency, touchscreen devices and grab handles and rails.

Scientists at the Australian Centre for Disease Preparedness showed SARS-CoV-2 is “extremely robust,” surviving for 28 days on smooth surfaces such as glass found on mobile phone screens and plastic banknotes at room temperature, or 20 degrees Celsius (68 degrees Fahrenheit). That compares with 17 days survival for the flu virus

(I think we can all see where we are headed.)

  22. DHAKA – Thousands rally in Bangladesh calling for boycott of French goods

Tens of thousands march in Dhaka, burning effigy of French President Emmanuel Macron for defending Prophet Muhammad’s caricatures.

Police estimated that more than 40,000 people took part in the march organised by Islami Andolan Bangladesh (IAB) party.

[…]Macron has sparked outrage across the Muslim world by accusing Muslims of “separatism” and describing Islam as a “a religion in crisis all over the world”.
The French leader also announced a plan “to reform Islam” in order to make the country’s six million Muslims more compatible with France’s republican values.

Tensions further escalated in the aftermath of the killing of Samuel Paty, a middle school teacher who showed his pupils drawings of Prophet Muhammad during a discussion on the freedom of speech.

As Macron slammed Paty’s killing, he also defended the prophet’s caricatures.

Since then, the backlash over Macron’s remarks has grown, with calls for expulsion of the French envoy from several Muslim-majority countries and a boycott of French goods.

“Macron is one of the few leaders who worship Satan,” Ataur Rahman, a senior IAB leader told the rally at the Baitul Mukarram national mosque, from where the march began.
Rahman called on the Bangladesh government to “kick out” the French ambassador while another leader, Hasan Jamal, said activists would “tear down every brick of that building” if the envoy was not ordered out.

“France is the enemy of Muslims. Those who represent them are also our enemies,” said Nesar Uddin, a young leader of the party.

  23. Oct 27 2020 Lebanon: Armenians slam Turkish support for Azerbaijan
Members of Dashnak Party gather in front of Turkish embassy in Beirut, attack security forces with stones, fireworks
    https://www.aa.com.tr/en/middle-east/lebanon-armenians-slam-turkish-support-for-azerbaijan/2020197
Members of the Armenian Dashnak Party gathered Monday in front of the Turkish embassy in Beirut to protest Turkey’s support for Azerbaijan in its fight against Armenian occupation.
The group of about 200 people hurled stones and fireworks at Lebanese security forces who sought to prevent the protesters from entering the embassy.
The protesters chanted slogans against Turkey and Azerbaijan and burned the flags of the two countries and then left the area.
Although Azerbaijan agreed to a fresh humanitarian cease-fire to exchange prisoners and the bodies of the dead, Armenian forces broke the truce only minutes after it was supposed to take effect, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said Monday, marking the third such truce broken by Armenia in less than a month.
Relations between the two former Soviet republics have been tense since 1991, when the Armenian military occupied Upper Karabakh, or Nagorno-Karabakh, an internationally recognized territory of Azerbaijan, and seven adjacent regions.
Four UN Security Council resolutions and two from the UN General Assembly as well as international organizations demand the “immediate complete and unconditional withdrawal of the occupying forces” from the occupied Azerbaijani territory.
In total, about 20% of Azerbaijan’s territory has been under illegal Armenian occupation for nearly three decades.
A cease-fire, however, was agreed to in 1994.
World powers including Russia, France and the US have called for a lasting cease-fire. Turkey, meanwhile, has supported Baku’s right to self-defense and demanded the withdrawal of Armenia’s occupying forces.

  24. The Circle Is Complete: Bank of Japan Joins Fed And ECB In Preparing Rollout Of Digital Currency

    By Tyler Durden

First it was the Fed, then the ECB, and now the BOJ: the world’s central banks are quietly preparing to unleash digital currencies on an unsuspecting population in one final last-ditch attempt to spark inflation and do away with the current monetary orthodoxy which has failed to push living conditions for the masses higher (but most importantly, has failed to inflate away a growing mountain of insurmountable global debt).

On Friday, the Bank of Japan joined the Fed and ECB when it said it would begin experimenting on how to operate its own digital currency, rather than confining itself to conceptual research as it has to date.

In this special episode the new encyclical “Fratelli Tutti” by Pope Francis is discussed. Is this encyclical setting the stage for what is to come? Is it getting rid of your individuality for the sake of the common good? Does it do away with private property for redistribution of wealth among the poor? Walter Veith & Martin Smith

    • Absolutely its setting the stage. Bible prophesy is unfolding before our eyes. Communism and mohomedism are bad, but romanism and popery will be hell on earth. Washington DC is copied from vatican city. Usa will force the world to worship the pope for “the common good”. Next step for the pope, digital currency.

  26. Hunter Biden Chaired a Foundation to Stop Child Abuse, While Engaging In It

Who’s going to protect the children from the Bidens?

The Hunter Biden laptop at the center of the political scandal had a sticker on it with the name of the Beau Biden Foundation. The sticker has been widely reported, but not its full name.

The full name of the foundation named after Joe Biden’s son and Hunter Biden’s brother is the Beau Biden Foundation for the Protection of Children. It’s both tragic and disgusting then that Rudy Giuliani has alleged that the laptop contained material involving underage girls.

It’s unclear if the Hunter Biden laptop actually belonged to the Beau Biden Foundation, but the The Mac Shop, at the center of the story, is in Wilmington, as is the Beau Biden Foundation. It’s a short drive down the 202 from the physical address of the foundation at the University of Delaware Law School to the Trolley Square address of the shop where the laptop ended up.

Earlier this year, the Beau Biden Foundation was one of the beneficiaries of grants from the Delaware COVID-19 Strategic Response Fund. The Biden foundation had received a $22,000 grant to provide “virtual training” to protect children from abuse. That is the sort of thing that the foundation, co-chaired by Hunter Biden and other Biden family members, does.

  27. Swedish Police Didn’t Believe Emergency Call, While Man Murdered and Woman Raped Twice (breitbart, Oct 27, 2020)
    https://www.breitbart.com/europe/2020/10/27/swedish-police-didnt-believe-emergency-call-while-man-murdered-and-woman-raped-twice/

“A man was left to die after being stabbed and a woman raped twice by a migrant man after Swedish police refused to believe the woman’s first emergency phone call.

The murder of Swedish teen Tommy Lindh, who was stabbed to death by African migrant Mohamad Abubaker while trying to defend a woman from being raped in Härnösand, made headlines in Sweden earlier this year.

Originally, prosecutor Stina Sjöqvist claimed that Lindh had not tried to stop the rape of the woman but later reports revealed that the victim had told Lindh about the first rape and had contacted the police.

Now, according to a report from broadcaster SVT, the operator who spoke to the victim on the phone not only noted that the call was not likely to be valid but recorded the wrong address initially.

The first call, which lasted nearly ten minutes, took place at 6:37 am on May 10th after the African had raped the girl and threatened her with a knife.

At 7:35 am the girl, now in a toilet with Lindh, called again and confirmed to the police that the migrant was still in the apartment armed with a knife.

Lindh and the victim were waiting for the police but did not lock the door and Abubaker is said to have entered and stabbed Lindh to death, then raped the victim a second time in the same room as Lindh died.

Police officers finally arrived at the apartment at 8:10 am and interrupt the migrant raping the victim as Lindh lay bleeding to death on the floor. SVT states that police have not commented on their handling of the incident as it has been passed on to internal investigators.

The case is not the only murder case committed by a migrant this year in Sweden. In July, a 21-year-old man was stabbed 99 times by Afghan migrants while aboard a bus in Kiruna.

Three Afghan nationals, a man and his two sons, were later arrested for the alleged murder with prosecutors claiming the killing was motivated by honour culture.”

  28. At Least Four Migrants, Including Two Small Children, Drown as Boat Capsizes in the English Channel (breitbart, Oct 27, 2020)
    https://www.breitbart.com/europe/2020/10/27/at-least-one-dead-as-illegal-migrant-boat-capsizes-in-english-channel-several-remain-missing-report/

“At least four migrants have drowned in the English Channel after a boat, reported to be carrying mostly Iranian illegal migrants, capsized on the way to the UK from France on Tuesday.

A migrant boat carrying approximately 20 illegal migrants began to sink in the Channel at around 9:30 in the morning by Loon-Plage near Dunkirk. Four migrants, including a man, a woman, and two small children have tragically died. The death toll may still increase, however, as searches at sea are continuing.

So far, at least seventeen migrants have been rescued from the frigid waters, with three of the migrants suffering from cardio-respiratory arrest. The others, including small children between the age of 5 and 8-years-old, are reported to be in “a state of hypothermia” in hospitals in Calais and Dunkirk, according to Le Figaro.

The boat was first reported to be sinking by an English yachtsman around 9:30 am, prompting a large-scale rescue effort by French authorities, comprising of six boats and three aircraft.

Earlier in the day, sub-prefect for Dunkirk, Hervé Tourmente, said that one of the missing migrants “could be an infant”.

Mr Tourmente noted that the weather conditions for crossing the Channel on Tuesday “were not favourable at all”, with powerful gusts of wind recorded…”
