2. ‘Masks Are Symbolic,’ say Dr Fauci and The New England Journal of Medicine

In the past week, Dr. Anthony Fauci and the New England Journal of Medicine have admitted that masks are little more than symbols. Virtue signaling.

For those of you who shout “science” like it’s a Tourette tick, this is from the New England Journal of Medicine on May 21, 2020:

We know that wearing a mask outside health care facilities offers little, if any, protection from infection. Public health authorities define a significant exposure to Covid-19 as face-to-face contact within 6 feet with a patient with symptomatic Covid-19 that is sustained for at least a few minutes (and some say more than 10 minutes or even 30 minutes). The chance of catching Covid-19 from a passing interaction in a public space is therefore minimal. In many cases, the desire for widespread masking is a reflexive reaction to anxiety over the pandemic.

So, why are we ordered to wear masks? Symbolism. From the same article in NEJM:

It is also clear that masks serve symbolic roles. Masks are not only tools, they are also talismans that may help increase health care workers’ perceived sense of safety, well-being, and trust in their hospitals.

3. CDC Says Possibly ‘Less Than Half’ Of Positive Antibody Tests Are Correct

In updated guidance posted on its website over the weekend, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention acknowledged an inability to accurately determine if individuals had been infected with Covid-19 via antibody tests; if the test is used in a population where prevalence is low, it’s possible that “less than half of those testing positive will truly have antibodies.”

(Best to read this at source. At the end its basically more ‘fear-porn’. “Just when you thought you were safe, when you get a test saying you have it and now you’re immune IT TURNS OUT THE TEST IS PROBABLY WRONG AND YOU SHOULD NOT BE ACTING LIKE IT’S SAFE TO GO OUT!” Try to imagine scary TV music as you read the article. It works better that way)

4. So what the heck was this about? Baltimore’s reaction may not be an example of what one would hope for, after the murder of a black man by two police officers the other day.

At a guess it would likely mean that productive non-criminals be they White or Black will find motivation to move to a Red state. Like so many are doing anyway. The US is set to be divided in a way not seen since the Civil war. But this one will be harder to fight.

5. No known animal host and ‘almost perfect’ human adaption: Top Australian vaccine scientist reveals how COVID-19’s unique structure means it’s either man-made – or a ‘complete fluke’ of nature

(We need to make a list of all the authorities that said it was not made in a lab and saying so is bad or racist. Trudeau for sure and his minions like Tam. The UN, WHO etc. But we need a list of people who knew the truth and lied to the world about it.)

Coronavirus is so ‘perfectly adapted’ to infect humans that the possibility it was made in a Chinese lab can’t be ignored, Australian vaccine researchers conclude.

Professor Nikolai Petrovsky said the virus was better at attaching itself to human cells than to any other animal, explaining why it has infected five million people.

The vaccine expert warned the investigation into where COVID-19 started, as proposed by Prime Minister Scott Morrison, was as a result urgently needed and should have begun months ago.

The startling results of his research were first revealed by the Mail on Sunday on the weekend – and on Wednesday his team gave Daily Mail Australia fresh details about why it must be considered a possibility the virus escaped from a lab in Wuhan.

6. Trump ‘feeling perfect’ after two-week hydroxychloroquine regimen and ‘would take it again’

President Trump is “feeling perfect” after finishing his two-week regimen of taking the anti-malarial drug, hydroxychloroquine.

“He said, quote, he’s ‘feeling perfect.’ Quote, he’s ‘feeling absolutely great’ after taking this regimen, and, quote, he ‘would take it again’ if he thought he was exposed,” said White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany at a Thursday briefing. “He’s feeling very good.”

The president underwent a two-week trial of the drug earlier this month to protect against the coronavirus after several staff members within the White House had tested positive for it. He faced pushback after advocating the drug as a preventative measure against COVID-19 […]

(The rest of the article is such clear propaganda that its clear the part I posted here was a set up. A honey trap for people who like Trump and accept the overwhelming data that HCQ actually works, to be bludgeoned with ‘trump is an idiot’ and HCQ is for idiots’. Please see the previous post about the president of Nicaragua.)

  1. 10 – This is one of the reasons the Second Amendment exists, the police can’t and in some cases won’t be everywhere the people are expected to protect themselves. A fact the left hates.

  2. 9 – I don’t know if India and China are headed into a shooting war or not, I do know that the CCP is in trouble and is facing growing social unrest as more and more problems pile on and the ordinary Chinese are deciding that the CCP has lost the mandate of heaven. No Chinese Dynasty has ever survived the people deciding they have lost the mandate from heaven.

Having said that the CCP is in a position where they can start a foreign adventure to distract the people and buy time. The purpose of the Chinese agitation may be to take peoples minds off the Flu, the Economy and the growing food shortage. If this is the case they are walking a very thin line between creating tension and starting an armed conflict with India. The videos I posted today that are talking about the might of the Indian Military v the Chinese Military are correct as far as I know. The Indian military spends all of its training time learning to be better soldiers, the Chinese military spend about half of their training time learning to be better communists. China is either not expecting to fight a shooting war or is expecting combat to short the people and remove the ones who don’t know what they are doing. The problem with this approach is that when you are going up against a professional Army the side that has trained the least usually looses the war.

Another danger is that the Chinese would loose the fight and loose it quickly, this would be another data point for the Chinese people that the CCP has lost the mandate of Heaven.

  3. China, in their increasing aggression in multiple forums, seems to need a hot war. Usually such a serious decision has multiple justifications.
