1. Call to prayer should be allowed after Ramadan and the pandemic

(Did ANYONE have a single doubt that this was going to happen?)

The Muslim call to prayer, which is being publicly broadcast by outdoor loudspeakers at mosques across Canada amid the COVID-19 pandemic during Ramadan, has sparked controversy.

This is the first time in history where the public call to prayer has occurred in Canada. Municipalities have agreed to waive their noise bylaws to allow the call, which would otherwise violate that bylaw.

Mosques remain empty due to the pandemic and this call to prayer exception has been granted in hopes that of giving Muslims a sense of unity and connection when they cannot gather in person.

While the gesture for the call to prayer to be broadcast during Ramadan is appreciated and we at the Muslim Advisory Council of Canada are grateful for the leniency shown by municipalities across Canada during Ramadan, we believe this exception raises a more pressing matter: that Christian churches in Canada are and have been exempt from this noise bylaw.

(Yep. Now it will be the new normal. Just watch.)

2. Canada: Call that it is “forbidden” for Muslims to do business with “Zionists” goes out over mosque loudspeaker

“Jewish group calls on Toronto mosque to denounce anti-Semitic ‘prayers,’” JNS, May 19, 2020:

(May 19, 2020 / JNS) Friends of Simon Wiesenthal Center (FSWC) on Tuesday called on a Toronto-area mosque to publicly denounce anti-Semitic remarks broadcasted on its property over the weekend.

A man using a loudspeaker at the Jaffari Center, a Shia mosque in Thornhill, recited the Islamic call to prayer and instructed followers to boycott “all the Zionist businesses,” claiming that it is “illegal” and “forbidden” for Muslims to do business with “Zionists.”

He also said the mosque and its followers stood with him against the “illegitimate Zionist regime,” the “betrayal of the holy land” and “whatever kind of evil things they [the Jews/Zionists] do.”

3. Another grooming victim has come forward and now makes the charges laid against the last one for “obstruction of Justice” even more odious.

4. HUNDREDS turned out to support the survivors of the muslim grooming gangs but stayed in the cars as the ongoing medical theatre continues

6. “It’s time to lift the COVID-19 lockdowns” – Canadian Infectious Disease Experts Say Rate Of Death For People Under 65 is 0.0006 Per Cent

[…] Did the lockdown achieve the desired goals? Yes and no. Success in “flattening” the outbreak curve permitted the health-care system to handle the surge in cases safely and to avoid unnecessary deaths. But, we were not successful in protecting the elderly and frail population in nursing homes, where roughly 80 per cent of Canada’s deaths occurred. It is important to point out that more than 95 per cent of COVID-19 deaths occurred in those over 60, compared with none under age 20.

Protection of the former group deserves the most attention; this will be easier if limited resources are diverted from other, low-risk groups.

In Canada, the individual rate of death from COVID-19 for people under 65 years of age is six per million people, or 0.0006 per cent. This is roughly equivalent to the risk of dying from a motor vehicle accident during the same time period. In other countries where data are available, 0.6-2.6 per cent of deaths in people below age 65 have occurred in people without known underlying health conditions. Although the risk of death is small in this group, ongoing research to discover the critical risk factors for death from COVID-19 in younger age groups must remain a top priority. This will permit us to better protect those at risk, while loosening restrictions for the majority.

(I wonder what the per-million rate is on drowning? Flu? traffic accidents?)

7. Tens of thousands of coronavirus tests have been double-counted, officials admit

(OK is ANYTHING real? Most reports also show the tests are 50 to 80% inaccurate. How can you even tell if a Corona test is inaccurate if most of the infected are asymptomatic?)

Two samples taken from the same patient are being recorded as two separate tests in the Government’s official figures

Tens of thousands of Covid-19 tests have been double-counted in the Government’s official tally, public health officials have admitted.

Diagnostic tests which involve taking saliva and nasal samples from the same patient are being counted as two tests, not one.

The Department of Health and Social Care and Public Health England each confirmed the double-counting.

This inflates the daily reported diagnostic test numbers by over 20 per cent, with that proportion being much higher earlier on in the crisis before home test kits were added to the daily totals.

Almost 350,000 more tests have been reported in Government data than people tested since the start of the pandemic.

The discrepancy is in large part explained by the practice of counting salvia and nasal samples for the same individual twice.

Public Health England oversee the testing of patients who are seriously ill in hospital, as well as the most critical key workers.

The test involves a swab from the mouth and nose as well as a sample of saliva. Although both of these are taken from the same patient, they are counted twice by the Government in its daily data.

9. Gavin Boby has an uncomfortable moment in an interview with some British interviewers that is well worth seeing. FF to one hour twenty eight minutes and start there.

Ed gets it right out of the gate. When the virus is gone, the fact that government knows it can utterly control you and know every aspect of your life for any reason, at any time, that, is NOT going away.

Thank you Pam Purnell, ET., M., PePi, ML., Wrath of Khan, Richard, Yucki, Chris Jones, MissPiggy, Gates of Vienna, and all who sent in materials this weekend so far.

There is a lot more to post. I will do my best to get to it this weekend. Germany… just wow.

  1. 1. Call to prayer should be allowed after Ramadan and the pandemic

Would I ever not want to hear the sound of the Muslim call-to-prayer wafting through my window from the Mosque a few blocks away. Why don’t they just go into the local synagogue and play Wagner’s “Ride of the Valkyries” at full volume instead?

I understand Islam and it is my considered opinion that it is a thing of obscene evil and I adamantly resist any attempt by the Muslims to impose their views on me or my country much less play their call-to-prayers at me. It’s not very nice, I know, but I truly and honestly hate the religion of Islam and do not want it anywhere in my country. If we have freedom of speech then I am allowed to hate the religion of Islam if I think it deserves it. I hate Naziism as well and I’m not too keen on communism or warlords either. Well, excuse me for hating evil…

  2. 8. Ed Snowden on whatever the hell is really going on now

I think he’s right and I think they’re just getting started. Imagine how it would be if Alexandria Ocasio Cortez and Elizabeth Warren were running the United States and they got the idea that they had an actual electoral mandate to act on climate change. Just think of all the ways they could judge you and spy on you and call your actions non-essential and accuse you of leaving a carbon footprint. Honestly, I won’t be able to stand it. Imagine going for a walk and having to produce proof that you really need that walk and were just going to get some organic vegetables and then hurry home. They could fine you for having your house too warm and imprison you for using your fireplace – all in the name of “saving the damn planet”. The list would be endless and it would be unbearable and it’s exactly what the average Democrat seems to crave like heroin…

  3. 8.

    My favourite 18th. Century scottish philosopher David Hume said it quite succinctly;

“It is seldom, that liberty of any kind is lost all at once.
Slavery has so frightful an aspect to men accustomed to freedom, that it must steal upon them by degrees, and must disguise itself in a thousand shapes, in order to be received.”

And they have speeded up that process tremendously with modern Technology, and we all fell for it without much of a fight initially.
Until they found out that the “Tool” of oppression can also be reverted and used against them, and through that, Censorship has been used at such a Grand Scale that it actually boggles the mind.
The fight for our Freedom is not over.

  4. 5 – The only time the high ranking Dem politicians are worried about the vets is 1) close to elections and 2) when they think they see an opportunity to screw us. This is why they delay anything going to the vets we are the group that is the most capable of leading and winning a kinetic counter revolution. We are also (these days) veterans of wars where you couldn’t be sure you could trust you allies and thus don’t trust the government don’t want to be disarmed.

The best form of authoritarian propaganda is to tell the truth about you opponent in such a way that breeds distrust in their government. Snowden is doing that, the knowledge that the Government can (and in some cases) has almost total control over out lives will never be forgotten. Not by the governments and not by the thinking people, for better or for worse we are entering into a new era where we need the ability to limit what the Governments and do and to inflict massive punishment on those who over step their authority. This is why it is so important to punish the politicians who are overstepping their authority in the pandemic and why we need to punish the politicians and political appointees who were responsible for the attempt to over throw the US Government before, during and after the 2016 election. The laws must be applied to everyone and to all groups with no person or group above the law, selective enforcement is driving the counter revolution (and victim disarmament is making that counter revolution harder). We are seeing this in all Western Nations, the big question is how long will it take the nations that have a long history of freedom to revolt?

  5. Mr Collett is so typical of many jumping on the justifiable arguments against immigration and Muslim influence, and trying to smuggle in old anti-Semitism. He seems to think all Jewish organizations are pro-Israel, like hell they are, a good many are pro-Palestinian (Pallywood propaganda is believed by Collett). Israel is not strictly speaking an ethno-state because it never excluded other non-Jewish peoples within its borders. Influential Jews can be anti-Zionist: think Marx or Trotsky. As most Jews are not religious, their identity seems to come from a self-image of being the benign liberal, always on the side of the underdog.
