When I told my better Half about those “released” footages from the Pentagon, her first reaction was “COOL, let’s ask them for a ride to their Planet.”
No panic there…..
From what I have been able to find out the unknown air carft was suppose to have left the area at speeds of 7,000 miles per hour or faster. Also there was suppose to be more the one of the objects. They were also suppose to be about 40 foot long and have some type of device on the bottom.
What ever the aircraft are the Government can’t tell us what they know without telling the people flying them what we know. As Brad Johnson says if it is someone on Earth with that tech there is a grave national security problem. If it is aliens from outer space with that tech we have a grave national security problem.
As someone who loves Science Fiction there are a lot of interesting what if games we can play but without more evidence we can’t answer any question.
No way are we the only form of life endowed with intelligence (intellect aka brain power) in this Universe made up of so many galaxies.
I have a friend who, when in her late forties some 35 years ago, went to bed one night. A short time after closing her night light, blinds down, in full darkness and out of nowhere appeared before her a red illuminated elongated shape, blob-type, that hovered before her, moved around her bed, and seemed to be examining her. The visit lasted for about one hour and disappeared in one swift zoom out the wall.
My girlfriend, back then, was highly intelligent, lucid, and even completed her translator’s university degree when she was in her mid-sixties.
We are not alone and some are much more advanced than we are.
Then what is puzzling is, why after – how many years is it now? – the SETI Project listening for any signs of intelligent extraterrestrial life (radio waves,etc) has come up empty. Nada. Puzzling, if in fact such life does
exist (and it IS a big universe).
My favorite answer for that is in the episode of The Outer Limits called, “Final Exam”.

To summarize and adapt to today and the here and now,, what happens when a civilization reaches the stage where they can make a deadly virus which forces an end to all development, moves the culture backwards and eventually kills us all off?
The dominate species on all planets are going to be the top predators which makes the scenario likely on a lot, probably most planets. Those that survive will be the top predators who have learned self restraint. Given the seize of the Universe and the number of star systems that can produce life like we know it, it only takes a small percentage of the races surviving to move into space to have a large number of races spread out over a very large region with a lot of blanks spaces on the map of civilization.
Are there other intelligent races in the Universe? logic says yes.
Are they visiting Earth? Maybe.
Are these videos space aliens or has some nation made a technological breakthrough? I don’t know.
I do know that one way to hide something like crashed UFO’s and UFO research is to either make fun of the idea and then send people out to infiltrate the groups of believers and spread disinformation along with enough real info to make the disinfo look legit.
You are right I don’t know how many of the races out there kill themselves off but creating some weapon they can’t control but it has to be a large number. This tells is 2 things about any race that survives, 1) they are the top predator on their planet and 2) they have learned enough self restraint to avoid racial suicide. I doubt if they are out to conquer the Universe but I also doubt that the are the Altruistic Galatic Wizards who are out to help all other races. If we were visited by alien travelers in the past those who are now coming aren’t from the same civilization, they may be the same race but not the same civilization. Civilizations raise and fall
Question: Which is scarier, being visited by aliens checking to see if we are a threat to them? Or alien Grad Students studying us for a research project to get a higher degree? Which group is more likely to be smugly overbearing and oppressive not really caring about their test subjects?

Interesting, the pilotes testimony is the evidence, the films are just backing up the testimony.
I find the reactionless drive to be fascinating, the idea of creating a bubble in the gravitational field and wrapping around you craft to not only power the drive but to protect you crew from t he inertial changes when you change direction and speed is very fascinating.
