Several anti-viral and anti-malarial drugs, which have also been touted by US president as a treatment for coronavirus, have been exempted from strict approval regime.
The Morrison government has waived therapeutic goods registration requirements for anti-malarial drugs touted by Donald Trump as a potential cure for Covid-19 to prepare for their urgent importation to Australia.
On Thursday, hydroxychloroquine and chloroquine was exempted from a requirement to be listed on the Australian register of therapeutic goods, which is generally the only way medicine can be lawfully supplied in Australia.
Similar exemptions were also granted to Remdesivir, Lopinavir and Ritonavir, which are all anti-viral drugs currently being investigated for the potential to combat Covid-19.

7. Vietnam protests Beijing’s sinking of South China Sea boat
HANOI (Reuters) – Vietnam has lodged an official protest with China following the sinking of a Vietnamese fishing boat it said had been rammed by a Chinese maritime surveillance vessel near islands in the disputed South China Sea.
The Vietnamese fishing vessel, with eight fishermen onboard, was fishing near the Paracel Islands on Thursday when it was rammed and sunk by the Chinese vessel, Vietnam’s foreign ministry said in a statement posted on a government website on Saturday.
All the fishermen were picked up by the Chinese vessel alive and were transferred to two other Vietnamese fishing vessels operating nearby, the Vietnam Fisheries Society said in a statement posted to its website.
“The Chinese vessel committed an act that violated Vietnam’s sovereignty over the Hoang Sa archipelago and threatened the lives and damaged the property and legitimate interests of Vietnamese fishermen,” the foreign ministry said in its statement, referring to the Paracel Islands by its Vietnamese name.

Family members in Canada who have criticized Iran’s government after losing their loved ones in the downing of Ukraine International Airlines Flight 752 say they’re being targeted with threats and intimidation — and they blame Tehran.
Global Affairs is aware of “reports” of victims’ families “being approached in Canada in situations which have caused them concern,” according to an email the department sent to families that was obtained by CBC News. A government task force has warned families to immediately call police if they feel unsafe.

1 – I just posted a Tim Poole video where he and his people are talking about what is going to happen when . I everything crashes. Given time to organize the honest people will win but in a sudden crash decivilization the predators will win.
Trudeau has appointed his long time friend, Ralph Goodale, to investigate the downing of the Iranian flight 752 that was downed shortly after takeoff, I would not depend on him for any help.
I first read about 2 people getting sick in Wuhan, China, on November the 6th and they were being moved to an isolated spot. Why do CBC and CTV say this virus started in December? Does the Health Minister know when and where it started.
