2. Military equipment is moving around all the time. Usually for exercises and whatever reasons. But recently there seems to be a lot of Twitter vids showing movement of heavy military equipment into civilian areas. We know already that the military is on the streets of France and other locations. We have the footage of that and have posted it here at Vlad in the past couple of days.

Yesterday, Miss Piggy found a few more and here is one from Canada that I wouldn’t have bothered with except for all the others, and at this point, to dismiss anything out of hand would be a failure of the imagination.

Germany:

(Some of the tweets of military hardware in Germany have already been removed. There are a lot of twitter and YT videos of heavy military equipment moving around in Germany, mostly by rail.)

4. If one was to write a movie about a global pandemic, then you would research the subject and come up with a lot of real material to make it believable and effective as a story. So it doesn’t mean anything that reality reflects a movie necessarily. The movie is a fictionalized account of a hypothetical situation. If that situation occurs, the experts who were researched for the movie would say the same things to the public.

This doesn’t mean it isn’t worth saying Hmmmm though.

6. Now this is interesting. No verification yet, but worth considering in case it’s true. If China made it, it would make sense. They have a ‘gender balance’ problem there. But it could also be because men in China smoke and women do not.

French border guards impounded trucks filled with 130,000 face masks bound for the UK leading to hurried negotiations between the British and French governments.

The masks were meant for brave NHS workers battling coronavirus across the country.

 

After realising what was on board, border guards in France held the truck in the wake of President Emmanuel Macron‘s promise to ‘requisition’ face masks for the French crisis, reported The Sun.

 

This came just a day after another truck bound for the UK, this time stocked with hand sanitiser, was delayed by authorities on the other side of the Channel.

Officials in the UK were swiftly made aware of both incidents.

A government source told The Sun: ‘On Tuesday night, French authorities stopped the hand sanitiser and confiscated the lot. On Wednesday night, it was lorries full of FFP3 face masks to protect staff.’

8. Coronavirus Killer? Important Follow-Up Info on Hydroxychloroquine Studies

Since pharmaceutical attorney Gregory Rigano appeared on Fox News, others (real MDs) have come forward with more information on recent studies of hydroxychloroquine, a newer version of the commonly used antimalarial drug chloroquine, and also remdesivir, which was created to fight the ebola virus. The French study referenced by Rigano is real, and there’s one out of Australia and another out of China.

 

Cutting the Red Tape to Save Lives

 

Rigano had called on President Trump to cut as much red tape as possible to hasten the approval process on new therapies. And on Thursday, the President did just that, calling on the FDA to “eliminate outdated rules and bureaucracy so this work can proceed rapidly, quickly, and I mean … fast.”

 

He means … FAST. And all the other words that mean fast.

“We have to remove every barrier,” the president said, “and they’ve done that, to get to the rapid deployment of safe, effective treatments.”

 

A Cocktail That Clears COVID-19

 

According to Tennessee Republican Rep. Mark Green, a former Army flight surgeon who appeared with Shannon Bream on Fox News Thursday night, the French study touted by Rigano earlier this week showed that when mixed in a “cocktail” with the antibiotic azithromycin (the familiar “Z-pack” often given to patients who have bronchitis and/or bacterial pneumonia), hydroxychloroquine can completely clear COVID-19 in as little as three days. It happened in all patients who were in the study. The sample size in the study he referenced was small, Green said, “so it’s kind of hard to extrapolate…to the whole population, but it’s very promising. One hundred percent of the virus gone in six days.”
