This has been a busy week in all aspects here at Chez Tepes. There are many emails and video edits waiting to be looked at, death with and posted. But this is also a time of huge stories with major consequences. It is difficult to know where the focus should be.
As I always do, but now with extra urgency, I recommend reading the comments, links and analysis left by regulars in the Daily Reader’s Links Post for the past few days for those that want the best this site has to offer. But over the weekend we hope to catch up on much that has happened.
The toilet-paper wars are a great example of a set of events that happen for nothing. there is no toilet paper shortage, and its hardly a catastrophe if there was one. But people are getting in fights at stores over it. A gun was pulled in a Toronto box store over toilet paper and a fight at a Vancouver COSTCO harsh enough to have the police come, and I believe one was so over crowded that fire Marshalls shut one down in Toronto altogether.
The good news is restaurants are very quiet and well stocked with food.
In any case, please do check the Reader’s Links comments and there should be some more European news videos titled for you all later and over the weekend. Some of great interest. Like proof that the German government funds ANTIFA as their own little Bolshevik army. More on that as the details arrive.
Thank you all who contribute to this site, and our mutual education.

1. UPDATE: Poland closing borders as coronavirus spreads
Poland has declared a state of “epidemic emergency” and will temporarily close its borders to non-citizens from Sunday in a bid to curb the spread of the coronavirus, the country’s prime minister announced on Friday evening.
Polish citizens returning from abroad will be placed under a 14-day quarantine after crossing the border, Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said.
“With the security of the Polish people in mind, we will introduce full controls at all our borders … initially for 10 days, with a possible extension to 20 days and then by another month,” he said.
International passenger air and rail connections will be suspended from Sunday.
But charter flights will be allowed in so that Poles abroad can return home, public broadcaster Polish Radio reported.
2. Trudeau determined to create massive epidemic in Canada
(While Poland locks down its border as do many other nations, Canada has not even stopped inviting illegals to border crash at Roxham Rd.)
(Yes. The RCMP, a now highly politicized police force, are literally baggage handlers for illegal migrants, claim jumpers and how knows who is coming to Canada. Meanwhile the Quebec Premiere has asked Trudeau to stop all migration to Canada legal or otherwise. “If you kill the virus, the Virus wins!” -What Trudeau would say if anyone still listened to him)
3. We Are Heading for a Depression – Charles Nenner
Renowned geopolitical and financial cycle expert Charles Nenner told his clients back in January 2020, “It was time to sell . . . . I am afraid they can lose 40% to the downside.” Well, we are more than halfway there, and Nenner warns it’s going to go lower—much lower. Nenner says, “You know it was all over the media, and they were always laughing at me that my long term target is 5,000 for the DOW Jones. They ask me how are we going to get there, and I say I don’t know. Now, this thing with the virus, there is no business anymore because the United States has stopped flights with Europe. So, maybe we can see how we get there.”
I think people have finally stopped laughing about Nenner’s 5,000 DOW call.
Another way the markets can crash is a full blown banking crisis that is brewing in Europe. At the center is Deutsche Bank (DB), which the IMF called the “most systemically dangerous bank” in the world back in 2016. Nenner predicted on USAWatchdog.com that if DB stock crashed through a $6.44 price target, it could go to $0. DB closed Thursday at $5.53, down 15% in one day. Nenner says, “I have real estate I want to sell because in Amsterdam, it’s going through the roof. I decided not to do it because I don’t trust the banking system. For years, we have talked about Deutsche Bank, and I said if it goes below $6.50, it could go into bankruptcy. Now it’s $5.50. They are interconnected to most European banks.
So, something is really cooking over there, and I don’t really trust the banks. That’s why I am not selling my real estate. . . . I don’t trust the banks anymore.”
4. Hungary: all schools are closed until further notice, digital remote education will replace it.
5. CAIR Applauds muslim call to prayer in Patterson US
6. Some good news at last. Canadian Parliament shuts down due to CHICOM Flu fears. (Im gonna go with that instead of Wuhan. Its more appropriate to the source) Now lerts hope that shutting it down means they actually don’t do anything since doing nothing is going to do less damage to Canada then when they are actually at work.
Today Canadian grade schools also extended march break by minimum 2 weeks.
7. Italians in self isolation sing off of balconies
(Most of this is beautiful. But gang-singing the Macarena could bring Ebola)
8. Two US Aircraft Carriers to Continue Operating in Middle East Amid Escalation With Iran – Pentagon
WASHINGTON (Sputnik) – The United States will continue operating two aircraft carriers in the Middle East for the first time in nearly a decade amid a dramatic spike in tensions with Iran, US Central Command (CENTCOM) commander Kenneth McKenzie told reporters on Friday.
“I have asked and the Secretary has granted my request to continue to operate two aircraft carriers strike groups in the region, which is the first period of extended dual US carrier operations in the US Central Command since we believe, around 2012”, McKenzie said.
9. There is a lot of dire and weird economic news today. This at least makes some sense.People are using a Soros tactic, or Soros himself is shorting the market to make money off of major losses the seller causes, and in the process make President Trump look bad.
This site is not a market site and do not pretend to be experts, if there indeed are such things. But at least this makes sense as its consistent with what we do track.
10. Sweden feels the right measures for dealing with the CHICOM flu is to not talk about the USA.
11. The Greek Turkish border continues to be intense. 27X more migrants than this period in 2015.
12. Saudi Arabia, African States Impose Travel Bans on Europe – No Accusations of Racism
Saudi Arabia and a number of African states have imposed travel restrictions on Europe — and unlike the Trump administration do not appear to have attracted any accusations of racism for doing so.
With Italy having become a coronavirus epicentre and other European countries including Britain and Germany expecting a huge percentage of the population to become infected, the Saudi government has imposed travel bans on the European Union and Switzerland, along with India, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka in South Asia, the Phillippines in the Pacific, and Djibouti, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Kenya, Somalia, and Sudan and South Sudan in Africa, according to the Hindu Times.
13. Italy: Deliberate Coronavirus Spreaders Face up to 21 Years in Prison for Murder
Italian authorities warned that people showing signs of coronavirus and who refuse to self-quarantine could face murder charges if they fatally infect another person.
Italians who demonstrate symptoms associated with COVID-19, such as fever, cough, or other signs of the illness, and refuse to isolate themselves from the community, risk being prosecuted for causing injury.

Things have moved fast. Recovery will with heaven’s help be just as fast.

3 – Is a depression coming? Probably, the Chicom Flu is driving the worlds economy down and the only major country that has a leader who will do the rational things that will end a recession/depression is the US. All of the rest have Marxist leaders who will refuse to step out of the way and let the Free Market recover.
The nations that are closing their borders should have done this earlier, they have let the Chicom virus into their nations and I am afraid that it will spread like it is in Iran. There is a very real possiblity that we are going to see the big die off that Yucki mentioned, I don’t see the politically correct nations run by globalists doing what is necessary to prevent a major die off. A die off that makes the 1919 Spanish Flu look small.
