Turkey, Greece, toilet paper in Oz: Links 1 for March 7, 2020

1. March 7: Migrants attack Greek border guards with rocks using slings.

(We could make a best of, video with the rocks at guards videos we have since 2015 in Greece alone. This is not new. But its important that people know they do this, and have been for years. It goes to motive. This has been an invasion and not a refugee situation from the start.)

(Glad to see they are burning the scrub on the Turkish side of the border though. That should give them less cover.)

2. There are more and more signs of how frightened people are because of the Wuhan Flu. (as an aside, more and more authoritative people have reverted to calling it that, because that is what it should be called) Harkening back to the famous, War of the Worlds radio play by Orson Wells, the number of people fleeing the broadcast area and heading for the hills and clogging the highways was not indicative of the size of the Martian invasion. But it was 100% indicative of the extent to which people feared it. In this case, the Wuhan Flu is real and has real consequences. But the scale is yet to be determined and the measures taken appear more optical than practical. For example, at Costco, you grab a cart outside and push it in. There, a man at the door politely asks you to remove your hands and wipes the handle with what is presumably an antiseptic liquid. Then you put your same hands back on the bar.

Hard to say what, if any, value this has other than as a kind of anti-virus virtue signal. Perhaps it does have some prophylactic effect on transmission of the flu. But it didn’t seem obvious what it might be from his actions.

4. Saddam and his friend Manzur arrested for burning a mother and her daughter alive in West Bengal: Here are the details

Two people have been arrested in West Bengal over the murder of two women in Haldia. The charred remains of the deceased, Riya Dey and her 40-yer old mother Rama were discovered at Jhikhukhali on the banks of the Haldi river on February 18 after they were burnt alive by the murderers. The accused have been identified as Sheikh Saddam Hussain and his friend Manzur Alam Mullick.

There is some confusion regarding the age of the daughter as some reports claim she is 19 and others that she is 22. East Midnapore police superintendent Indira Mukherjee said that a preliminary probe had revealed that Saddam was in a relationship with the daughter. She also revealed that the women were alive when their bodies were set on fire. She also said that more people could have been involved in the murder.

“It was a pre-planned murder. The accused are now in custody. Once we interrogate them thoroughly, we will get to extract further details as to what exactly happened, how the victims were brought to Haldia, whether they were sedated or raped and how they were murdered,” Mukherjee said.

(One thing that is stunningly under reported, is the way Muslims treat non-muslims in and around India. If people were aware, policies would change. There would be no choice. Which is why we are not made aware. RAIR Foundation now has translators from the region who have been translating videos from India on events that may still manage to shock even readers of this site. It is worth checking out the site from time to time, as while we may have the videos here, the story and detail will be written up at RIAR.)

5. Germany: Leftist Europeans and migrants demand the borders be open to Europe for anyone at anytime for any reason.

6. Moroccan migrant explains his motive for trying to break into Europe illegally.

Whatever else he is, he is not a refugee and not deserving of any more consideration in law than any legal applicant for immigration to a European nation. This is at the very kindest, mere queue jumping. But the Palestine headband might suggest a darker more political motive as well)

7. Greek minister lashes out at Turkish use of migrants

8. Greeks fire water cannons to Turkish side of the border while invaders throw rocks and approach the border behind dumpsters as protection.

9. On the Greek side of the border, it appears they are taking it seriously, or are creating the impression that they are.

10. On the Turkish side of the border, what are clearly soldiers at this point, are pulling down border fences as part of the invasion.

11. Swedish Populist Leader Reported to Police for Handing Out ‘Sweden Is Full’ Flyers

Swedish populist leader Jimmie Åkesson has been reported to the police for inciting “hate” after handing out “Sweden is full” flyers in Turkey this week.

Swedish attorney Behrang Eslami reported the Sweden Democrat (SD) leader to the police, claiming that Åkesson was engaging in incitement against a group of people by handing out the flyers near Turkey’s border with Greece.

“I believe that it is everyone’s right to seek asylum in Europe or in Sweden,” Elsami told Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet.

“To go down and try to persuade people, who are fleeing for their lives and in need, not to go to Europe. It is in principle wrong and it violates human rights,” he claimed.

Åkesson responded to the police report, telling broadcaster TV4, in comments reported by Nyheter Idag, that he considered himself a voice for many Swedes, pointing to recent opinion polls that have shown his party as the most popular in the country.

(Democracy, if not dead, is very very sick. In a democracy a government typically has a minister of immigration and a shadow minister from opposing parties. As we have seen in France and perhaps most clearly in Holland, the left has managed to criminalize all opinions which do not fit the Neo-Marxist narrative of full negation of Western people and values by Islamic and African immigration. This includes even shadow ministers of immigration who dare suggest the COMINTERN open borders policy is destructive to local peoples and culture. Geert Wilders is on trial for suggesting Moroccan immigration should be reduced as they are grotesquely over represented in crime stats in The Netherlands. I believe at this point, he is on trial for the third time for this same ‘crime’ even though in fact it is his JOB DESCRIPTION.)

12. Turkey Wipes Out the Christian Culture of Occupied Cyprus

Since the Turkish invasion, much information has emerged not only about the atrocities committed against the Cypriots, but also of the destruction of historic, cultural and religious monuments.

In 2016, a report by the Cypriot Ministry of Foreign Affairs noted that:

“More than 550 Greek Orthodox churches, chapels and monasteries located in towns and villages of the occupied areas, have been pillaged, deliberately vandalized and, in some cases, demolished. Many Christian places of worship have been converted into mosques, depots of the Turkish army, stockyards and hay barns. This fact clearly proves that the religious heritage in the occupied areas has been the target of the occupation regime as part of its policy to eradicate the cultural character of the area. Moreover, important cultural monuments and places of worship continue to be completely inaccessible because they are located within the ‘military zones’ of the Turkish occupation army…

“The destruction is not limited to the monuments belonging to the Church of Cyprus, but also extends to religious monuments belonging to the Orthodox Patriarchate of Jerusalem and to the Armenian, Maronite and Catholic Churches of Cyprus.”

Thank you ET., M., Wrath of Khan, Richard, Xanthippa, Andrew Bostom, PC., Johnny U., and many more who are working diligently this weekend to try and retain as large a fraction of reality as one can in these times.

Here is a link to a comment by ET. which should be viewed by Canadians for some perspective on the many standards of the Trudeau government, or rather the one standard that appears to be many, so long as it advantages Islam and leftists.

  1. 1- Yes they are removing the cover on the Turkish side of the border which is good for the Greeks. What struck me was how the “refugees” throwing the rocks are acting like they are expecting return fire. Note how they are remaining low to the ground in as much cover as they can find except when they are actually throwing the rocks. Either they are trained blooded troops who are expecting resistance or they have trainers who are treating this like a training exercise for the unblooded troops.

6 – Note how the man is acting like it is right to move to Europe and how the Europeans have no say in the matter. Another data point on proving this is an invasion by people who expect to conquer the land they are moving to.

11 – When you don’t have the rule of law with one law for everyone and you don’t have freedom of speech the voting is just a proforma action to give the Political Oligarchs who are reigning in that nation propaganda cover about being elected officials.

Democracy dies in the darkness and the left is working hard to ensure that there is darkness all around the world. We are waiting to see if the Wuhan Flu is going to change the direction of the change towards the light of democracy and freedom of are is the left going to be able to use the flu to take over more countries. There are signs pointing both directions and we will have to wait and see what is going to happen.

      • She is good, one thing she seems to have confused is global trade and globalism. we have had Global Trade and Globalism since the 16th Century. Modern shipping allows the Globalists to try and control nations by moving jobs from one nation to another and then treat people as another commodity to move around nad exploit. We need a global economy in order to grow and prosper or to keep prosperous. We don’t need a globalist/socialist one world government with the Marxists as the self proclaimed unelected leaders of the world. All cultures aren’t created the same and we will never find one culture that fits every nations. for this reason (among many others) we need independent nations with their own cultures that they cherish and protect.

  2. 2 – Notice so many are fixated on toilet paper but forgot about soap.
And those alcohol-based hand sanitizers are useless in combating most viruses because they quickly become resistant to it. Wash your hands often and avoid your face, when in public areas.

At home, toilet paper can easily be replaced with the Mid-East way aka a bottle of warm water poured slowly from behind to clean yourself. A small soaped sponge to finish off, rinse, and dry. Disinfect the sponge before bed.

Mind you, I use toilet paper but it has happened I was out of it. And the sponge, I use every time to be super clean. It’s a 90-second deal and you feel great aka very clean undies.

BUY SOAP before the prices go up or toilet-paper-grabbers catch on.
