When we first read the translation, we thought it odd that she would say “1% of the rich”. Kill the one percent makes more sense from the point of view of communist thought. But in the interest of intellectual honesty we left it as our translator wrote it. Oz-Rita however just called and after listening to it carefully a couple of times and reading the linked article, is confident that the woman in fact did mean, and even say but with a thick regional accent, “kill the one percent” meaning all the rich people in the one percentile group of personal wealth.

“DIE LINKE” the stage name this party chose to thinly disguise that they are still the SED, the communist party of the the former (now revived by Merkel) communist East German ruling Junta. In Germany they are called the “Mauermörder” Party (the party of the Wall-Killers), they were the ones shooting these Germans in the back that attempted to flee over the wall to the West. The “Linke” has changed nothing but the name. There is no reason to hate the rich other than to give expression to your own envy and jealousy and, yes, pettiness. Sure, it’s hard to be trudging up a hill in the rain and see a rich-looking family go by in a BMW but it would do no good if they got out and trudged with you, would it?
When Thomas Crapper invented the flush toilet he did it for Queen Victoria, not for the common man. What envious leftists don’t understand is that the world goes around on the actions of rich people, not poor ones. If no one had the money to buy a Ferrari or a Lambo there would be no work for the expert leather stitchers and the award-winning designers and mechanics. Similarly, there would be no such thing as air travel if there hadn’t been rich people to take the flights at the beginning. Radios and TVs were out of the average person’s reach at the beginning, but they’re giving the things away now, aren’t they…

Hatred of rich people is just another defect of character like hating Jews or blacks or Catholics or the Chinese. It’s called “prejudice” and it’s nothing to be proud of…
I agree with that …mostly.
However disliking a certain group for whatever reasons, real or imaginary, is not hatred, nor is it racist if they are of a different race. It is only racist or actual hatred if you actively discriminate by word or action to face, any individual(s) of such a group.
This is an area that has been drowned by the Left into black and white and it is wrong. You cannot control how people think and to attempt to do so is typically totalitarian. We all have petty likes and dislikes. It is all part of being human and one has no right to make any legislation that calls this illegal.
Hate speech is the most ridiculous and open ended concept possible and is typical of leftist lunacy. First you stop them saying it Thern you stop them thinking it.
The end effect of what the Left have done here is via their classical inversion with making Hating and Racism(by the definition above) ONLY acceptable when they do it.
The whole idea of creating perfect humans without faults petty or otherwise is ridiculous and extremely dangerous.
I dislike many groups and often for very good reasons but each individual receives a fair go (even muslims whom I really do hate)and is only judged by what I see as acceptable in everyone else.
To pontificate from supposed personal purity strikes me as dangerous at most and hypocritical at least as no one is perfect.

Apologies for possibly sounding confused in my post above. It’s nearly 4 am in Australia. But I have to add: just now I hear that a “Führer” (yes I mean a “Führer”) of the “Die Linke” was voted as PM of Thüringen just a few moments ago. Führer of that unashamedly COMMUNIST party, who want to shoot dead the 1 % of rich people in Germany as soon as they are in power.
Perhaps you did follow the recent events in the German State of Th?ringen, but for those who did not: what happened there recently is dangerous and significant for all of us who value democracy:
In a democratic election that State (Germany has a constitution in which States are independently ruled) had voted for a Prime Minister of that state. (I will not bore you with the details, as juicy as they might be for people familiar with the intern politics of Germany). This Prime Minister was voted in, amongst others, with the votes of the AfD (Alternative for Germany). He was not the “Linke” guy of the party who wants to shoot dead all rich people, but a neutral, close to the centre guy.
He was voted in via an intelligent strategy by the AfD intelligent AND democratic. Adolfina Merkel, who was amongst her equals in South Africa (the new rulers who “kill the white farmers”) did a broadcast from this very seat of deadly dictatorship and said, verbatim:
“this election outcome is unforgivable and must be reversed!!!”.
(Incidentally, as she is not even the leader of her party any longer, she had not legally the right to interfere in any state affairs).
Breaking the fundamental laws of the German Republic was not new to Führer Merkel however, and – with the help of her Antifa SS, she achieved her aim: the democratically elected new PM of Thüringen “resigned” after 24 hour in the job. He had been threatened with death, his 6 children needed police escort to their schools and his wife was spat on publicly.
And now, Merkel having “suggested” the leader of the “Linke” (the “Wall-Murderer-Party, die Mauern-Mörder Partei) be the PM of Th?ringen, he IS the PM of Th?ringen. (“Elections” results just in).
My personal opinion? Merkel is Evil, very very evil.
