2. Top aide to Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei dies of coronavirus

A senior Iranian official and close advisor to country’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has died of coronavirus. Mohammad Mir-Mohammadi, a member of the Expediency Council, which is known as the closed circle of Iran’s leader, died at a Tehran hospital on Monday.
The death Mirmohammadi came as Iran announced the virus had killed 66 people among 1,501 confirmed cases in the country.
Iran has the highest death toll in the world after China, the epicenter of the outbreak.
Mirmohammadi died at a north Tehran hospital of the virus, state radio said. He was 71.
The council advises Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, as well as settles disputes between the top cleric and parliament.
His death comes as other top officials have contracted the virus in Iran.
(Hopefully the Ayatollah will have a top level meeting with all his senior advisers in a mosque where they will spend the day doing downward dog behind each other’s buts. That should protect them all from the Hunan Flu)

4. Australian Border Patrol Forces Illegal Immigrants Back to Indonesia
Australian maritime authorities intercepted an illegal asylum seeker boat last month and forced it to immediately return to its port of departure in Indonesia.
It is the 38th people-smuggling turnback since Operation Sovereign Borders began in 2013 under the current conservative coalition government.
All eight people on board, who were Chinese and Indonesian nationals, were returned to Indonesia, the Sydney Morning Heraldreports.
Home Affairs Minister Peter Dutton said the interception and turnback reiterates Australia’s commitment to ending people smuggling and stop people risking their lives at sea.
“We will not tolerate a return to past circumstances where more than 1,200 people died at sea attempting illegal and dangerous journeys to Australia,” Dutton said.
“Illegal maritime travel to Australia is as pointless as it is dangerous. There is zero chance of illegal migration to Australia.”

10. Greek Government Labels Alleged Killing of Migrant on Border ‘Fake News’
The Greek government has claimed that a widely spread video claiming to show a migrant fatally wounded along the countries border is “fake news.”
Government spokesman Stelios Petsas commented on the footage, which was released by BBC World Service journalist Mughira Al Sharif on Monday, stating on social media platform Twitter that the alleged killing of a Syrian refugee was Turkish propaganda.
“Video showing fatality on Greek-Turkish border is fake news. We call upon everyone to use caution when reporting news that furthers Turkish propaganda,” Petsas said.
The footage claims that the man in the video is a Syrian asylum seeker named Ahmed Abu Emad who is originally from the city of Aleppo. Mr Al Sharif went on to state that the incident occurred on Monday morning at 9:07 am and the Syrian died after being shot in the throat. The true facts of the case have yet to emerge.

1) The receding of the glaciers as the Ice Age glaciation period passes.
2) The end of the “Little Ice Age” dating back to about 1850.
3) The end of the little-reported Twentieth Century cool period that went from the end of the War to the mid-seventies. The Swindlers keep that cool period a secret so they can route their “statistics” from, say, 1948 and always show pronounced warming as long as they end the stat in 1995.
If next year was the warmest in human history it would be the most natural and expected thing possible – nothing out of the ordinary – but they never bother to mention that and always make warming out to be some unnatural disaster.
