The most beneficial cooperative kind easy-to-get-along-with thing we do toward the radical Muslims is to always vigorously oppose the idea of classifying terrorism as “war” and always trying to keep it a civil matter – kind of like writing a bad check or spitting on the sidewalk. If this was 1941 and I overheard someone speaking German on a phone and talking about U-boats and gun-emplacements while looking through binoculars I would contact the authorities and the Nazi spy would be arrested, interrogated, and shot.
