There is a lot of biblical stuff floating out there about the Wuhan virus. Its very difficult to determine what is information and what is not. One video says: The sound of distant gunfire deters people thinking of escaping the city”.

This is easy to believe.

The man in the video below seems to be among the most rational of voices from what is floating around out there.

Personally I am quite concerned that we have not heard a single report of infection from Vancouver, which is a Chinese city in pretty much every way. If there are cases in Toronto and across the US, why have we heard nothing from Vancouver.

  1. I am one of the first people to share his video to Twitter yesterday. I can’t stop thinking about him. I hope he’s ok.

    • How can regular readers here upvote your twitter link? The man in the video appears to be indoors, not coughing, and wearing an N-95 mask–seems to be OK.

      • Around 10:05, he has a deep sniffle. Maybe he has a sinus problem. I hope he comes out of this ordeal safe and healthy. He is very brave for speaking out against the Chinese regime and it is reassuring to know the younger generation is not brainwashed.

      • N95 is not good enough for the virus, although it will catch the droplets the virus is riding on. It also prevents you from touching your face. Next problem is keeping it out of your eyes, as mentioned in the video.

  3. The lack of any reports from Vancouver is indeed troubling, it sounds like the Canadian Government is moving to burying news before it makes it way out of the cities.

      • WHO and the Tedros guy are on their way to Beijing to discuss the outbreak and how they can help. People are saying he should visit Wuhan instead of Beijing.

        Between all of us here, does anybody really believe the Chinese officials will be honest about the situation? I don’t. The Chinese officials and Xi Jinping don’t want to be caught in a loss-of-face scenario, and even less trigger anger among their citizens if the truth was known about their lack of vigilance and hiding of the facts.

        • None of them believe it. They’ll wink and shrug and sound upbeat.
          The head of WHO is Ethiopian. China owns him (and much of Ethiopia).

        • China’s economy was already shaky, now a major pandemic is causing more disruption.

          That Chinese kid in the video may get his wish and the CCP loses power, to do a better job of prediction we need up to date maps on where in China the virus has been found. (truthful reports which the CCP won’t allow) We need to know the real numbers of infection and deaths.

          • By now, it’s almost everywhere. Even in Xinjiang, land of the Uighur. Those in the detention rehab camps don’t know.

        If the pandemic breaks out of China, or should I say when? The massive number of deaths will allow some nations to stop some of the corruption, with luck most of it. We will never be able to get rid of all corruption but with luck we will be able to reduce the amount in our governments and in the international groups that are suppose to keep track of the medical problems of the world.
