1. UK tourists shocked to discover popular Turkish resort is now Sharia-compliant, serves no alcohol, women must cover

“HALAL HOLIDAY Holidaymakers at all-inclusive hotel shocked to find resort was taken over by Islamic company who banned booze,” by Andy Jehring, The Sun, January 17, 2020:

HOLIDAYMAKERS booked a hotel only to find it had been taken over by Islamic owners who banned booze.

They were scrambling for refunds after the Ova Resort on the Turkish Riviera was bought by Zehra Hotels.

The new owner enforces segregated male and female pools and hot tubs, offers halal food and does not serve alcohol.

It boasts of offering an alternative holiday that is “good for your Islamic lifestyle” and asks women to cover up when swimming.

But the dry policies have forced regulars at the resort to look elsewhere.

Brit Sam Taylor, 51, of Slough, Berks, told The Sun: “I am absolutely gutted. This place was like a second home for a lot of us.

(I wonder if its a publicly traded company. Might make a good short sell)

The good news is, Marine Le Pen is running for president in 2022. That video should be available soon we hope.

5. Lebanon protest: Beirut in chaos as riot police block every exit after bank attacks

Pictures from downtown Beirut show the streets engulfed in smoke, as police attempt to disperse the protests.  Riot police had erected barbed wire barricades to prevent protesters from reaching Government buildings, but the activists are attempting to force their way through. Tear gas and water cannons are being used by the police to try and disperse them, as the protests turn increasingly violent as the “week of rage” continues.

Today marks the 94th day of protests in Lebanon, as people have become increasingly fed up with they are calling a “corrupt and inefficient” government.

Protests became increasingly violent this afternoon, as activists clashed with police in the streets.

The protesters were caught on camera throwing stones and other objects at police, after weeks of excessive force by security forces.

6. San Fran’s newest ‘communist’ D.A. cleans house of tough prosecutors

Chesa Boudin, San Francisco’s newest district attorney, the guy once referred to as “communist” by city sheriffs, kicked off his new law enforcement leadership role by, get this, firing seven of the community’s experienced prosecutors — the ones, notably, known as tough on crime.

But it all makes sense. This is the city represented by none other than Speaker Nancy Pelosi — and Boudin, according to one past assessment, is practically a raging “communist.”

He’s the guy socialists cheered during campaign season; so, too, Sen. Bernie Sanders and noted anti-Israel activist Linda Sarsour, The Blaze reported.

8. Two teen men on trial over beating of senior in Vanier

Abdirahman Sahal and Yusuf Hussein, both 18 at the time of the alleged attack, have pleaded not guilty to aggravated assault charges related to the incident on Dec. 8, 2018.

The trial for two 19-year-old men accused of beating up a 74-year-old man in an apparent random daytime attack outside a Vanier bank machine will hear its closing arguments next week.

Abdirahman Sahal and Yusuf Hussein, both 18 at the time of the alleged attack, have each pleaded not guilty to aggravated assault charges related to the incident on Dec. 8, 2018, that left Morty White lying in a heap in a Scotiabank parking lot at the corner of Montreal Road and Hannah Street, bleeding from a broken nose with a cracked pelvis, two cracked ribs and contusions around his neck and head.

Sahal is also charged with simple assault for allegedly striking another man in a separate random assault that day.

Assistant Crown Attorney Matthew Humphreys showed court a video montage stitched together from home-security cameras mounted on porches along Hannah Street, where two men alleged to be Salah and Hussein were seen leaving a residence and walking south toward Montreal Road.

Thank you ML., M., Wrath of Khan, Richard, Xanthippa, EB., and so many of you who diligently pay attention and assist the rest of this community to find better understandings.

  1. 2 – France is falling apart before out eyes, the big question is will the 2022 election be held and will the left accept the loss and peacefully leave power?

    • 1 out of 5 babies born in France has a Moslem name.

      Marine _IS_ left-wing – she’s a populist, and reliably French. That’s it.
That’s far from good enough, as the economy tanks by 2022.
Those pension reform strikes? What happens when when socialist entitlements are paid with an IOU?

      • See that is why I have a hard time having any sympathy with the riots these days. Their demands are just unreasonable. I fully dislike Macron but raising the pension age to 63 from 60 or whatever, its hard to see it justifying this. They need to deal with the Islam problem and regain control of the culture. At least the Torch marchers had a meaningful ask.

        • Some retire at 53!
And pensions for sectors with heavy union clout are totally out of whack.

Last govt that attempted to reform the pension system was Chirac ‘s – and his govt fell.

  2. 8- Since they took no money the motive was to inflict violence on a kafir, preferably an older, weaker one who is easy prey. Vigilant groups of able-bodied men will soon be asked by citizens to offer the protection vacated by a PC justice system. Police will warn them to stay home yet will do nothing but arrest the protectors. We are all Tommy Robinson. And judging by the dominance and frequency of certain name types in Ottawa crime reports, kafir criminals clearly can’t keep pace with the sort of prolific, mindless, barbaric behavior on daily display by savage imports.

7- So long as police choose the feminized, “…path of least resistance…” we will lose to the Reds and the Greens. A space occupied by a Red or a Green means said space is no longer owned by the society. How remarkably similar are the tactics of both colours. Prayer in the street equals Antifa protest.

And, without a gram of coincidence, the only raised voice in Ezra’s report is when the female cop says, “…I’m speaking to you…” or some such thing.

    Female and fe-maled.

Have we not seen enough to know that a femmed male is utterly useless, and that a female using state-granted power over a man of Ezra’s caliber, here, is the state just manufacturing another cuck? Or at least trying to? That A-type men must rule with firm, wise fists in order to navigate in a chaotic world? That imported male savages of low intelligence see free reign in a femaled environment devoid of stronger, smarter male opponents? Don’t people see that it is truly time to put socialists and socialism back into the little black lady bag of history where it belongs, and then toss it into the depths of the ocean? Feminists are collectivists are communists.

The A-male, the hunter, the warrior, the leader, our smartest and strongest must rise to place themselves in the service of the greater good, for their own people and not for inferior foreign human capital that feminized, domestic socialists tells us to embrace.

    • You need a leader, Britain seems to have found their leader in Boris, the US in Trump and with luck France in la Pen. You need a leader to have a rally position during the fight. This is the position the Royal Family serves in Britain and the main reason the left wants to abolish the Monarchy.

      • Canada needs the Bill of Rights. And the Electoral College. Too late, too bad.

Anyway, I figure the best of both countries will come together to form the New American Republic.

  3. EXPLAINED: What are France’s special pension regimes and why are the French striking to protect them?

…The idea of ‘special regimes’ for pensions – whereby some workers get bigger pension pots and retire earlier than others – has become a key battleground of attempts to reform and streamline the French pension system, which are currently being fiercely resisted by French unions.…

Of France’s 17.2 million pensioners, 1,1 million (6 percent) belong to a special regime…. Most commonly associated with the railway and transport sector, critics say the special regimes are too generous and unsustainable, as well as being unfair.

For example SNCF train drivers and Metro drivers can retire at 50 and 52 respectively, with the average employee of RATP (which runs the Paris public transport network) getting a monthly pension averaging at €2,357. The official age for retirement in France is 62.

…According to a 2017 report published by the French Court of Audit, employees of the RATP and the SNCF retire at 55.7 and 56.9 years respectively.

    …….
How do pensions in France compare to the rest of Europe?

…Many special regimes – particularly in the public sector – calculate a person’s pension based purely on the last six months of their salary before retirement, while most people who work in the private sector have theirs calculated on the basis of their highest-earning 25 years of work.

This is another thing that the government wants to reform, bringing in a universal system of pension calculation, with ‘points’ earned for every euro and also accumulated for things like working anti-social hours or working in a profession with risks to health.…

On average, French people live to be 82.27 and enjoy 20.27 years of retirement.
