3. More troubles for the British Royals. This plus Charles and Harry nearly makes it a Royal Flush. This may be a threat to the institution of the monarchy. One wonders if that wasn’t the plan.

5. The New York Public Library opts to cancel un-PC feminists

You can’t make this up: The New York Public Library has canceled an event, scheduled for Friday at the main branch, that was to feature women who have been canceled.

Organized by the Women’s Liberation Front, a feminist organization that supports a biological definition of gender, the “Evening with Canceled Women” was to feature “five fearless feminists” speaking out about “women’s rights to a life free of pervasive harassment, silencing, coercion, violence, forced lying and endless punishment.”

That message is now apparently unwelcome in one of the Big Apple’s premier cultural institutions. (Full disclosure: One of the women is my ex-wife, Libby Emmons.)

(Similar to how the Ottawa Public Library, at that time Tim Tierney was city councillor in charge of it, canceled a movie with interviews with actual sex-slave victims from Rotherham because the film was Islamophobic. The library however, has several copies of Mein Kampf on the shelves on the second floor.)

6. Alert Issued for ‘Iranian Nationals Armed With Explosives’ at Mexican Border

A red alert was issued at the Mexican border town of Mexicali after the police chief received information that Iranian nationals armed with explosives may try to cross the border into the U.S.

The alert, issued by Customs and Border Protection in Arizona on January 10, was confirmed by Mexicali Police Chief Maria Elena Andrade. “We received reports that four nationals of Iran possibly carrying explosives were going to attempt to cross the border in the area of San Luis to Mexicali. We were told it was three men and a woman to be on the lookout for,” Andrade said.

“We have no incident that has happened as of now, we are responding accordingly and we will not underestimate these threats,” Andrade added.

“Operation Shield” was activated in Mexicali to counter the threat from the Iranian nationals, however details of the operation were not disclosed.

7. In Iran, it’s a crime for women to appear in public with their hair uncovered. Yasaman Aryani, a 24-year-old activist, wanted to change this. She’s been sentenced to 16 years in prison for campaigning against forced veiling.

(Wait, did Amnesty International actually do a real human rights thing?)

It was International Women’s Day 2019 when Yasaman and her mother took off their headscarves and walked through a women-only train carriage in Tehran, handing out white flowers. Yasaman spoke of her hopes for a future when all women would have the freedom to choose what to wear, “me without the hijab and you with the hijab”.  After a video of this went viral, Yasaman was arrested and charged with “inciting and facilitating corruption and prostitution” through promoting “unveiling”.

In the last few years, a growing movement against forced veiling laws has emerged inside Iran, with women and girls performing courageous acts of defiance. Men and women who actively choose to wear hijab have joined too – because the movement is about choice: a woman’s right to choose what to wear without fear of harassment, violence, threats and imprisonment.

8. Disturbing evidence in Jeffrey Epstein’s autopsy points to his murder: pathologist

(I wonder how that pathologist’s autopsy will be presented to the media)

Jeffrey Epstein’s eyes had burst capillaries after his body was found in his Manhattan jail cell, suggesting that the convicted pedophile was likely murdered through manual strangulation and did not hang himself, a forensic pathologist says in a TV interview.

In a clip provided to The Post from a “Dr. Oz” special set to air Thursday, former New York City Medical Examiner Dr. Michael Baden discusses his theories and examines graphic photographs.

Among them are the burst capillaries and the fact that Epstein’s lower extremities were pale and not purple or bluish, which he said would have been the case had he hanged himself in August at the Manhattan Correctional Center.

“The blood settles after we die. The so-called lividity, if you’re hanging, the lividity is on the lower part on the legs. These would be like maroon/purple, front and back and they aren’t,” Baden tells Dr. Mehmet Oz.

10. Ukraine pulled out of virulently anti-Israel, pro-Palestinian committee the day before Iran shot down its jetliner

The Ukrainian prosecutor general’s office “is investigating possible willful killing and aircraft destruction in its probe of the crash of a Ukrainian airliner in Iran.”

First Iran insisted that the jetliner crash was due to mechanical failure, but when Iranian authorities refused to turn over the black box, the Iranian government’s back was against the wall; it admitted to attacking the jet by “mistake.” Given the tensions that were sparked by the Iranian attack on the U.S. Embassy compound in Baghdad, followed by swift retaliation that saw General Qassem Soleimani, head of Iran’s elite Quds Force, killed in an airstrike at Baghdad’s international airport, here is a question to consider: why would Iran allow flight departures, given its own stated nervousness? “Iran’s Foreign Minister Javad Zarif blamed the U.S. for Iran’s mistaken decision to shoot down the plane, tweeting: ‘Human error at time of crisis caused by US adventurism led to disaster.’”

11. Two Mississauga men charged in smuggling scheme to aid Pakistan nuclear program, U.S. Justice Department says

Two Mississauga men have been charged in American federal court for their alleged role in a five-year global smuggling scheme to export aircraft parts, semiconductors and other equipment and aid Pakistan’s nuclear program, the U.S. Department of Justice says.

The men, Muhammad Ahsan Wali, 48, and Haji Wali Muhammad Sheikh, 82, are among five men accused of operating a front company that sought to smuggle American goods to two Pakistan agencies that have been black-listed by U.S. national security, according to a indictment that was unsealed in a New Hampshire federal court Wednesday.

“The defendants smuggled U.S. origin goods to entities that have been designated for years as threats to U.S. national security for their ties to Pakistan’s weapons programs,” said John C. Demers, assistant attorney general for national security, in a news release.

“This indictment puts the world on notice not to do business with these defendants and demonstrates our commitment to holding them accountable.”

  1. 11- Actually, it puts the world on notice that Canada may becoming a haven for tards trying to circumvent American embargoes on tech and specialty equipment.

  2. Reality Check- Her Gatlin Gun delivery is great. I find it incredible how some Iranians in the west can rationalize this scumbag regime on the back of Saudi and Israeli (let’s face it they do) interference.

    So convenient.

    • She is good. Be sure and check on the reality check I posted today.

They rationalize the regime in Iran the same way Bernie Saunders rationalizes the Soviet Union and communist china.

  3. Gossip from Ukraine:
Prez Zelenskiy of hates the job. It’s horrible beyond belief. He’d quit if he could. Just go off to live a private life with his young family.

  4. 6 – Was it a real threat or just a fake story to get a reaction? There are suppose to be sleeper cells in the US that were under the personal command of Solamini the human jigsaw puzzle. Every one with 2 working brain cells knows they are going to hit us and if possible hit us hard, the question is when and where.

  5. 3- I don’t know if their demise is part of any plan, but these blue bloods have done their own damage. I think the Queen is a classy, interesting woman, but where has she been while watching the invasion of Sharia law? What about her progeny? Are they so arrogant as to believe the British people will offer their undying loyalty no matter what? I’ve always hoped the Queen would make one final speech that would speak the grand truth about the demise of western civilization. Alas, I am waiting for Godot.

    • Good observation, Johnny.
The grand old girl smiles and waves and THAT’S IT?
That’s not enough for all the gushy reverence around this decadent House of Windsor. Phooey.

  6. 10/ The Elder writes:
Iran now blaming their shooting Ukrainian airliner on “US disrupting our radar”

The Iranian regime has gone back from pretending to accept responsibility for shooting down Ukraine International Airlines Flight 752 to blaming the US.…

Guess what? If Iranian radar is so easily fooled, then no one has any business trying to use it to shoot down objects that could be passenger airplanes!

Meanwhile, Forbes has been interviewing experts who make it sound like either Iran’s air defense operators are incredibly incompetent or criminally negligent.…”
