More potential Days of Rage attacks? Mayor Khan does not treat all attacks equally: Links 1, November. 30, 2019

1. The buck passing goes into gear in the UK over the London Bridge stabbing

First, the parole board:

We have every sympathy with those affected by the dreadful events that happened in London Bridge yesterday.

Given the seriousness of this attack, it is understandable that there is speculation about the attacker’s release from prison.

The Parole Board can confirm it had no involvement with the release of the individual identified as the attacker, who appears to have been released automatically on licence (as required by law), without ever being referred to the Board.

Second, Mayor Khan explains that if you want to live in a wonderful multiculti city like London, being stabbed to death is a small price to pay

2. The sudden flurry of buck passing appears to be due to this highly rational outrage.

3. Indian Anti-Terror Agency Raids Daesh Suspects in Country’s South

New Delhi (Sputnik): Following terror threats to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and cricket captain Virat Kohli in New Delhi, national security forces in India have been on heightened alert.

In order to crackdown on Daesh* in India, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) conducted raids in two different cities in southern India’s state of Tamil Nadu (TN) on Saturday, seizing documents and laptops.

Along with six mobile phones, 11 SIM cards, a pen drive, a hard disk, a memory card, and five CDs, an axe was also confiscated by NIA officials during the raid.

The seized items will be submitted to Tamil Nadu’s special NIA court located in Ernakulam city for further forensic examination.

The raids were conducted at the houses of two suspected Daesh terrorists – Alavudeen and S. Sarfudeen in two different cities, Thanjavur and Tiruchirappalli in Tamil Nadu, an official statement from the NIA said on Saturday.

Named Mohammed Azarudheen and Shiek Hidayathulla, the terrorists arrested in June were part of a six-person team who were propagating the radical ideologies of Daesh on social media, intending to lure vulnerable youth from Kerela and Tamil Nadu into the self-declared caliphate.

4. Migrants Arrested for Alleged ISIS Salutes at Strasbourg Christmas Market

A year after the terror attack at the Christmas market in Strasbourg, police have arrested two Chechens at the market for making signs of allegiance to the Islamic State.

The men allegedly took selfies at the market with their index fingers pointed to the sky, a gesture often used by Islamic State members to represent Allah as the one true god. The acts were witnessed by police who then arrested the suspects, broadcaster RTL reports.

Police confirmed they charged the pair with apologising for terrorism, saying that one of the men lived in Strasbourg while the other lived outside of the Alsace region.

“We are doing checks but they are not clearly known in the Alsatian place for links with the Islamist movement,” police said.

5. Ilhan Omar’s GOP challenger Danielle Stella blasts Twitter after her account suspended for saying the Democrat ‘should be tried for reason and hanged’ for ‘giving sensitive information to Iran’

Ilhan Omar’s Republican challenger blasted Twitter after her account was suspended for suggesting the Democrat should be ‘tried for treason and hanged’ amid reports she shared information with Iran.

Danielle Stella had written on her campaign Twitter account Tuesday: ‘If it is proven @IlhanMN passed sensitive info to Iran, she should be tried for #treason and hanged,’  according to The Washington Examiner.

She also included an article from a blog post that contained a drawing of a stick figure being hanged.

6. Bad to the bone: Moment hero Polish chef called Luckasz used a narwhal tusk to tackle London Bridge terrorist after grabbing it off the wall at Fishmongers Hall

(I wonder of Mayor Khan will ban fire extinguishers and animal tusks now that it can be shown they are useful for self defence.)

A chef at Fishmongers’ Hall who grabbed a narwhal tusk to fight off a knifeman is the latest hero to be identified in the London Bridge terror attack.

Luckasz, originally from Poland, tried to pin down knifeman Usman Khan, 28, who wore a fake suicide vest, using a five-foot narwhal tusk he took from the wall of Fishmongers’ Hall yesterday.

One man – identified as Cambridge graduate Jack Merritt, 25 – and one woman were killed in yesterday’s attack, and three others were injured.

Video exclusively obtained by the Daily Mail shows Luckasz using the narwhal tusk as he and a group of men try to pin down the attacker.

7. Dutch police now have the knife attacker in custody and still have released zero information that wasn’t totally obvious. Like he is a male. In this article, pre arrest, they deceive the public into saying they are using any and all means to catch the man, and still give no description at all. But in subsequent articles he has been arrested.

8. Ellesmere Port shooting: Armed police rush to town centre – shots fired

ARMED POLICE have rushed to Ellesmere Port following reports of a shooting this afternoon. […]

A witness told the Liverpool Echo that a man was shot on Enfield Road.

They said: “Three men fired shots from inside a car and shot a man.

“Apparently it was just a passerby and not the man they were actually looking for.

“Police have cordoned off the road and the helicopter is up over the area.”

Ellesmere Port Police said on Twitter that the incident is not believed to be terrorist related.

Police in Canada are saying the same thing about the guy who stole a fire truck and tried to run people over, and the guy in The Hague who stabbed people. None of them are terror, and a name and description is not given for any of the attackers.

9. Germany: An Arab attacked two young women with a gun

Early yesterday, Thursday morning, around 6 am, an armed man attacked two women at the junction of  the streets Wörthstrasse and Markgrafenstrasse in Essen. Although the two women had noticed the Arab man before, they were surprised when he suddenly ran towards them, physically attacked them and threatened them with a gun.

He violently prevented an emergency call by knocking the victim’s cell phone out of her hand. When the women loudly called for the police, the man fled. The unknown attacker is of Arab descent, about 30 years old, slim and about 170 cm tall. He has black hair and a short beard. At the time of the crime he was dressed in dark jeans, a petrol coloured jacket and a beige cap.

The scene of the crime, which is located directly on the noise barrier of the A40 motorway, can only be seen to a limited extent. Residents who may have made any observations in connection with the attack are asked to report to the Essen police by calling 0201-8290 as soon as possible.

(What colour is a petrol coloured jacket? Like a gasoline rainbow or something?)

Thank you C., Gary Fouse, M., Wrath of Khan, PC., Medforth, and all who sent in materials. Some important translations to come today.
