This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

    • The police may be wearing Hong Kong uniforms but they are the Constabulary/combat MPs that the Chicoms moved into the new Territories a months or more ago. Xi has turned them loose to shut down the protests but is trying to keep the rest of the world from knowing that it isn’t being done by the Hong Kong Government.

      Xi has made a major move, the next move is up to Trump and other world leaders.

      It is time for a major gut check to see how brave you are.

      I ask all of you to not concentrate on Hong Kong to the extent that you forget the other areas where China and the other trouble makers are creating trouble. A few days ago I posted an article by a Taiwanese Government Official who was warning that China might use the Hong Kong protests as cover to move on Taiwan or other neighboring nations to try and solve their economic problem by looting the neighboring nation(s).

    • I don’t know if the Dems are coordinating with the Chicoms but the Chicoms are taking advantage of the internal political turmoil in the US thinking that the Dems will block or delya any response to their actions.

      Remember nothing is happening in a vacuum, they are all connected to one degree or another.

  10. Germany: Truck crashes into church+++
    This morning around 08:40 am, a truck crashed into a church in Hommertshausen. According to our current information, there were no injuries in the accident. What is certain is that the 49-year-old driver left the road with his truck after passing a left turn. The cause is not yet known. The truck first touched a house and then hit the following house before the cab collided with the side wall of the extension of the scaffolded church.Only after salvaging the truck and investigations by the building authorities and structural engineers the actual, probably very high damage is known.The lorry is a large lorry with a container body and a trailer. The truck had apparently been loaded with scrap metal. The street Schelde-Lahnstraße in Hommertshausen has been completely blocked since the accident. The closure will continue for several hours. Warning messages on the radio announce that the road has been closed completely.

    I think this is the most straight forward editorial I have read on this issue. As soon as the news broke that the WH had released the phone transcript I read it, before the spin could go to work… I found the conversation to be reasonable and benign. Then the SHTF and here we are.
    Trump has probably known about the Crowdstrike/DNC hoax since before the election in 2016. As Obama used to say, he heard about it in the news… He also should have known that Biden leveraged ONE BILLION of US aid to Ukraine to get their top prosecutor fired since Biden confessed to it on video in 2018. When should Trump have inquired about that or, should he not have inquired about any of it ever? That’s what a huge number of Washington insiders want you to think. As it turns out he inquired about it roughly 90 days after the Mueller investigation concluded. Can you imagine the sh!t storm that would have ensued had he inquired while still under investigation by Mueller? OMG, it would have been epic!
    Joe Biden is now a multi millionaire, his son is a millionaire, and even his wife is a millionaire. By a strange set of circumstances Biden’s younger brother was hired by a construction company and BINGO that company was awarded a billion dollar contract to “build houses in Iraq”. The guy has zero construction experience, sound familiar? And why is the US taxpayer even building a billion dollars worth of houses in Iraq?

      The masked man was critically wounded by a gunshot in Sai Wan Ho as wild scuffles broke out this morning after the city’s 24th straight weekend of protests.

      In footage broadcast live on Facebook, a Hong Kong policeman drew his weapon as he wrestled with a man at a blockaded road junction, with a second protester advancing towards them in a bid to help his comrade.

      That second protester appeared to take a swipe at the officer’s pistol and just moments later the policeman opened fire at him, hitting him in the torso.

      Today the critically wounded man was having an operation in hospital, sparking further anger at alleged police brutality in Hong Kong.

      On top of that, another man was badly wounded after he was doused in petrol and set on fire after remonstrating with protesters in separate clashes at Ma On Shan Plaza.

      LA PAZ (Reuters) – Looting, fighting and roadblocks convulsed Bolivia on Monday after President Evo Morales’ resignation ended his 14-year rule and created a power vacuum following weeks of violent protests.

      The departure of Bolivia’s first indigenous president, who was the last survivor of a wave of leftist leaders in Latin America from two decades ago, came on Sunday when the military abandoned him amid unrest over his disputed Oct. 20 re-election.

      The Organization of American States (OAS) had denounced “clear manipulations” and urged a re-vote.

      “I am afraid of what will happen, everything is a mess in the city. There are fights between neighbours,” said Patricia Paredes, a 25-year-old secretary in capital La Paz.

      Overnight, gangs roamed the highland capital and other cities, businesses were attacked, rival political supporters clashed and properties were set on fire.

      Schools and shops were largely closed, while public transport halted and roads were blocked.

      Morales, 60, flew out of La Paz and was believed to still be in Bolivia – but his exact whereabouts were unclear.

      Here is my comment that I posted on YT to this video:
      I really must take aim at you BPS to insinuate that Trump is “Caesar” like. Please cite to me exactly when Trump overruled the law and did not comport with judicial rulings. In fact, he allowed some pipsqueak judge in Hawaii to over rule his PLENARY POWER (look it up) on immigration policy. If you want to look at Caesar power look at the Obama admin. They are the ones that , without judicial push back, DACA, clearly an unconstitutional act as Obama actually said over 20 times… Then he went and did it with his pen and his phone…
      Yeah, I don’t agree with lumping Trump in with other despots now ruling. As far as I can see he has aquest to every judicial challenge that has come his way and won the majority of them.

        We could speculate as to why, but you are 100% spot on about President Trump and Obama. Obama in fact said out loud that he felt the US Constitution was outdated.

      He was elected “Dictator” by the Senate, a martial law equivalent in the Roman Republic. His uncle Sulla had held the title decades earlier and resigned after a few years.

      We’ll never know what Julius Caesar would’ve done. He was murdered, his name misappropriated by lesser men. They were indeed “emperors”.

    “Earlier this year, Syrian Hawar news agency reported that Syrian Kurds of the Autonomous Administration (AA) in the northeast of the country handed over to the Netherlands and France14 orphaned children of Daesh* terrorist group.

    Reuters reported Monday that a court in The Hague ruled that the Netherlands must actively help repatriate the children of women who joined Daesh in Syria.

    The ruling, however, notes that the mothers don’t need to be accepted.

    The report says, lawyers of 23 Dutch women, who previously joined Daesh, asked a judge to oblige the state to repatriate them and their children from a camp in northern Syria.

    According to the lawyers, the families live in “deplorable conditions” in the Al-Hol camp that houses some 68,000 defeated Daesh fighters.

    The Dutch Intelligence Agency previously reported that as of 1 October, there were some 55 Daesh fighters and at least 90 children, who used to live in the Netherlands for a considerable amount of time but then travelled to Syria.

    “Le Mesurier, a former MI6 officer, created the controversial ‘urban search and rescue’ organisation in 2013. The White Helmets have been repeatedly accused of staging fake attacks in the conflict in Syria in a bid to prompt a Western-backed military intervention in the war-torn country.

    A law enforcement source has confirmed the death of James Le Mesurier at his home in Istanbul. However, the source added that at this time, it remains “unclear whether he was murdered, or committed suicide.”

    The White Helmets’ official Twitter account has confirmed Le Mesurier’s passing, saying the group was ‘shocked and saddened’ by the news and expressing its “deepest condolences to the James family.” The group commended the former intelligence agent’s “humanitarian efforts which Syrians will always remember.”

    Earlier, an anonymous diplomat was quoted by Reuters as saying that Le Mesurier’s body had been found early Monday morning at his home in the city’s Beyoglu district.

    Sözcü, a major Turkish daily newspaper, reported, citing police sources, that Le Mesurier may have killed himself, and that he had been taking anti-depressant medication for some time ahead of Monday’s incident.
    Sabah, another major Turkish paper, also reported, citing law enforcement, that police consider suicide the most likely cause of Le Mesurier’s death, with the former spy possibly jumping to his death from the balcony of his 3rd floor apartment. No traces of gunshot or knife wounds were found his body, police told Sabah.

    A source close to the investigation later said that there was no evidence of any unauthorised persons being near his residence at the time of his death.

    Le Mesurier’s wife was quoted by Sabah as saying that she and her husband had dinner together on Sunday. “After that we took sleeping pills and went to bed. A few hours later I woke up from the ringing of our doorbell. It was the police. They told me that my husband had fallen from the balcony and died.”
    Police are continuing their investigation.

    Founder of Terrorists’ ‘Propaganda Arm’
    Le Mesurier, a British private security specialist and former UK military intelligence officer, founded the White Helmets in Turkey in March 2013. Before that, he served as an intelligence officer in other theatres of conflict, including a stint in Pristina, Kosovo soon after the NATO intervention in 1999. In the 2000s, he went on to serve as vice president of special projects at the Olive Group, a private mercenary organisation which later merged with Blackwater-Academi into Constellis Holdings.

    In a 2014 interview, Le Mesurier said that he spontaneously raised about $300,000 in initial funding from the UK, the US and other countries and trained 25 vetted operatives to create the White Helmets after witnessing the suffering in Syria, with the group soon accumulating over $150 million in cash after Western NGOs, Gulf countries, several European countries and Japan sent money and supplies to help the group. The group continues to enjoy widespread publicity and support in Western countries, and is a UK-registered non-governmental organisation.

    Syria considers the White Helmets a “terrorist organisation,” citing the group’s regular operations in areas controlled by jihadist militants, including al-Qaeda offshoot the Nusra Front,* as well as its creation of video fakes which seem designed to prompt Western military intervention in Syria. Independent journalists have repeatedly accused the group of serving as ‘al-Nusra’s propaganda arm’, given its alleged ties to the militants.

    In April 2018, the US, UK and France launched a series of air and cruise missile strikes against Syria following the publication of a White Helmets video appearing to show that a horrific chemical attack that had taken place in Douma, a city in the Damascus suburbs about 10 km from the capital. The Douma attack was later debunked by verified testimony from multiple eyewitnesses who appeared in the video, including that of an 11-year-old boy who revealed that he and his mother had been given food to participate in the video. Since that time, Damascus and its allies have repeatedly voiced concerns about the possibility of more fake videos and false flag attacks by the groups designed to prompt Western intervention.

    Last week, the Russian Foreign Ministry urged London to investigate Le Mesurier’s possible ties to al-Qaeda. At a briefing on Friday, Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova pointed to independent research indicating the former spy’s possible links to terrorist organisations going back to his work in Kosovo. “There is data suggesting that there were al-Qaeda members among his team there,” Zakharova said, adding that Moscow would “very much like to hear what London has to say about these facts.”

    Earlier this year, Britain’s Home Office announced that some 100 volunteers and family members from the White Helmets had been resettled in the UK after being evacuated from Syria last year with the help of British government officials.

  28. Mexico is urging SCOTUS to stop Trump’s bid to end DACA

    The Mexican government is urging the Supreme Court to protect the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, telling the justices that supporting DACA recipients is an important goal of Mexican foreign policy.

    The justices will hear arguments over President Donald Trump’s bid to terminate DACA on Tuesday. Mexico filed an amicus (or “friend of the court”) brief in the case, saying it has a “legitimate, substantial and compelling interest to protect the rights of its citizens.”

    “Mexico’s government has supported DACA beneficiaries and Mexican nationals living in the United States by holding clinics, providing funding and access to competent legal counsel in connection to the application process under DACA,” the brief reads. It goes on to note that Mexican consular officials have assisted approximately 30,000 DACA recipients with “obtaining the necessary documents and, in some cases, providing economic assistance to apply for DACA.”

    • For Decade the Mexican Government has been using the US as the dumping grounds for its excess population, pushing them North so we in the States (and at times Canada) have to pay the welfare, Healthcare and education costs.     “Turkey has begun sending foreign ISIS fighters back to their home countries, Ankara announced today.

    An American ‘terrorist fighter’ has already been expelled and two more jihadists from Germany and Denmark are set to be deported later today.

    More than 20 Europeans are being processed with another seven Germans due for deportation on Thursday.

    The Europeans also include 11 French citizens and two Irish, interior ministry spokesman Ismail Catakli told state media.

    The government of Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan has frequently criticised Western countries for refusing to take back their ISIS fighters voluntarily.

    Ankara has repeatedly warned it will deport them even if they have been stripped of citizenship, although it is unclear how that will work in practice.

    Interior minister Suleyman Soylu said last week that Turkey had nearly 1,200 foreign ISIS members in custody, and had captured 287 during its recent operation in northern Syria.

    It was not clear if all those being deported this week were captured in Syria, or if some were in Turkish territory.

    ‘There is no need to try to escape from it, we will send them back to you. Deal with them how you want,’ Soylu warned the West on Friday.

    A French official told AFP that the French nationals being expelled were mostly women.

    Some had been in Turkey for a long time, while others arrived recently, the official added, without giving further details.

    These 11 will be tried, the official said, adding that discussions were under way to determine whether their arrival will be handled by civil or military airport authorities.

    A French foreign ministry source told AFP at the weekend that a number of jihadist suspects had been quietly repatriated under a 2014 agreement with Turkey, and that the current deportations were nothing new.

    ‘Jihadists and their families are regularly sent back to France and arrested as they leave the airplane. Most of the time it is done secretly. The news is not published, or released much later,’ the source said.

    A German foreign ministry official confirmed the legal proceedings involving the 10 German nationals, saying they included three men, five women and two children.

    Germany’s interior ministry said ‘it did not wish to oppose the return of German citizens’ and that authorities were still verifying the identities and the reasons for their repatriation.

    Turkey has lately increased pressure on Europe to take responsibility for the problem.

    ‘Turkey is not a hotel for Daesh members,’ Soylu said last week, using another acronym for IS.

    The return of jihadists follows Turkey’s offensive last month in northern Syria against Kurdish militants who were holding thousands of IS fighters and their families.

    Turkey said it would take control of captured jihadists in areas that it seized from Kurdish groups, but demanded greater assistance from Europe.

    It remains unclear, however, whether Turkey will be able to repatriate those who have lost their citizenship.

    Although the 1961 New York Convention made it illegal to leave people stateless, several countries, including Britain and France, have not ratified it, and recent cases have triggered prolonged legal battles.

    Britain alone has stripped more than 100 people of their citizenship for allegedly joining jihadist groups abroad.”

    “A judge has expressed her “abhorrence” at foster parents caring for children taken from an abusive Muslim household, because they Westernised and ate bacon.

    Judge Angela Finnerty said she “shared the abhorrence of the [biological] parents” over the fact the children were served bacon and eggs for breakfast, according to The Sun, which further reports that “One of the children also ate a hot dog at a fair.”

    The biological father of the children accused the council of “playing God” by failing to ensure they continued to follow Islam, somewhat counter-intuitively.

    “One matter that sits terribly with me is that they have been feeding my children bacon. You yourself told [the foster parents] not to feed my children pork products,” he complained indignantly to the judge.

    The children were taken into care in the first place as a result of concerns about the father violently abusing the children’s mother.

    It was alleged that the foster parents told the children “If we make bacon, you eat it,” but they objected that the children had simply Westernised and, according to The Sun, “turned their backs on religion”.

    Judge Finnerty took a stand on behalf of Islam at her court in York, however, declaring that she “shared the abhorrence of the [biological] parents” that their children had eaten bacon sandwiches, and suggesting that they may have Westernised due to “their cultural and religious needs not having been sufficiently nurtured in foster care”.

    It has become increasingly common for non-Muslims in the United Kingdom to be essentially forced to eat halal meat, slaughtered in accordance with Islamic religious principles which many non-Muslims object to for ethnical reasons.

    For example, Breitbart London reported in 2017 that the Queen Elizabeth Hospital was only serving halal meat, and in 2018 that in many schools “all of the meat served is non-stunned” with “no alternative options” without “the knowledge or consent of the majority of pupils and parents”.

    Indeed, in one council area, a democratic vote to stop serving halal meat in schools — including Christian schools — was overturned after a council of mosques threatened a to organise a school boycott and launch a judicial review.

    There have also been cases of non-Muslim children being penalised for objecting to Islamic food practices, with a vegetarian schoolgirl who described halal as “inhumane” in an exam paper being failed for “obscene racial comments” earlier this year.

    A university student also claimed to have been suspended for describing halal as “cruel” and “inhumane” in February.”

    “Denmark will temporarily reinstate border controls with Sweden and step up police work along the border after a series of violent crimes and explosions around Copenhagen that Danish authorities say were carried out by perpetrators from Sweden.

    The checks, which start Tuesday for six months, will take place at the Oresund Bridge between Copenhagen and the Swedish city of Malmo, and at ferry ports.

    Lene Frank of Denmark’s National Police said there will be both random and periodic checks of people crossing the border and officers will focus “particularly on cross-border crime involving explosives, weapons and drugs.”

    Since February, there have been 13 blasts in Copenhagen. Authorities believe an Aug. 6 explosion at the Danish Tax Agency “was committed by criminals that had crossed the border from Sweden.” Two Swedish citizens are in custody.

    Denmark Justice Minister Nick Haekkerup has called a June 25 double murder — where two Swedish citizens were gunned down in suburban Copenhagen — “a showdown between feuding gangs from Sweden.”

    On Saturday, one 15-year-old boy was shot dead and another 15-year-old was critically wounded in Malmo, Sweden’s third-largest city, which lies just across the water from Copenhagen.

    The boys “were well-known to the police despite their young age,” senior police officer Stefan Sinteus told a news conference Monday. “It was a somber weekend.”

    The shooting took place just minutes after an explosion in another Malmo district where a bomb set under a car detonated, destroying the vehicle and damaging other cars. Police said Monday that the blast could have been a diversion from the killing.

    No one has been arrested in the Malmo shootings.

    Police in Malmo — a Swedish city also hit by explosions and shootings between feuding gangs — will get extra officers to cope with the violence, said Carina Persson, the southern Sweden regional police chief.

    “We have a serious situation,” Prime Minister Stefan Lofven told the Swedish news agency TT. “The inhabitants of Sweden should feel safe, whether they are on the streets and squares, at home in their residential area or wherever they are.”

    Haekkerup said last month that the blast at the headquarters of the Danish Tax Agency and the twin murders in suburban Copenhagen were “examples of the serious crime that can flow over the border from Sweden. We will not accept that.”

    He said the temporary border controls should protect Denmark against both “foreigners who do not live up to the entrance criteria and foreigners who may intend to commit serious organizes crime or terror in Denmark.”

    Along with the border checks, authorities plan to have more CCTV surveillance, more surveillance of gang members, more drones and more bomb-sniffing dogs, Haekkerup said.”

    “Three car bombs went off Monday in the northeastern Syrian town of Qamishli near the border with Turkey, killing at least six people, while a priest was shot dead in a nearby area by extremists, state media and activists said.

    Northern Syria has been hit by several explosions that have killed and wounded scores of people over the past month. That’s since Turkey began a military operation against Kurdish fighters in the wake of President Donald Trump’s decision to pull out of northeast Syria.

    Reports of the explosions gave differing casualty figures, which is not uncommon in the immediate aftermath of this kind of attack.

    Syria’s state news agency SANA, which has reporters in Qamishli, said the explosions were triggered by car bombs. It said they killed at least three people and wounded around 20. It said two blasts went off in a commercial street while the third was near a hotel.

    The Kurdish news agency Hawar said the blasts killed six people and wounded 21. It said two of the explosions hit a market.

    The Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, an opposition war monitor, said six people were killed and 22 were wounded in two of the blasts alone.

    Elsewhere in northeastern Syria, unknown gunmen shot dead an Armenian Catholic priest and his father as they drove from Qamishli to the city of Hasakeh, according to Hawar and the Observatory.

    The Islamic State group claimed responsibility for the killing, saying its fighter shot dead two priests. The IS-linked Aamaq news agency posted a copy of the priest’s identity card with his photo and name on it.

    IS had persecuted Christians and displaced tens of thousands of them when it ruled large parts of Iraq and Syria. The extremists lost the last area of land in eastern Syria in March, marking the end of their so-called caliphate.

    Christians made up about 10% of Syria’s pre-war population of 23 million, who co-existed with the Muslim majority and enjoyed freedom of worship under Syrian President Bashar Assad’s government. Most have left for Europe over the past 20 years, with their flight significantly gathering speed since the start of the current conflict.

    Earlier in the day, Russia Today aired an interview with Assad, who said his forces will soon retake control of the last major rebel stronghold in the country’s northwestern province of Idlib.

    Assad said in the interview that they are now giving civilians some time to leave the area, which is dominated by al-Qaida-linked militants.

    Syrian troops launched a four-month offensive on the province earlier this year, forcing hundreds of thousands of civilians to flee their homes and capturing the important town of Khan Sheikhoun and several other villages and towns.

    Let’s take two recent examples, Senator Kamala Harris and Terminator: Dark Fate. Both clunkers have two things in common. They’re overhyped vehicles that wasted millions of dollars of other people’s money, $25 million or so for Kamala, and an estimated $100 million for Terminator: Dark Fate, for negligible results, Kamala is polling at 2%, and Terminator: Dark Fate blew its opening weekend.

    And they both took out identity politics insurance policies against their eventual failure.

    Kamala didn’t run on identity politics just because it was a good winning strategy, but also because it was a good losing strategy. That’s why, as her campaign sinks, she keeps emphasizing two things, that she’s always won elections in the past, and that, if she loses, it’s because America may not be ”ready for a woman of color to be President of the United States”. Kamala isn’t losing. America is losing.

    Like a lot of movie franchises with no reason to exist, Terminator: Dark Fate adopted ‘wokeness’ as its identity. It’s the latest in a series of ‘woke’ franchise cash cows to bomb, not because of their politics, but because their politics couldn’t disguise the hollowness of the cash grab at the heart of the movie.

  44. Germany: “We Expect Imams from Abroad to Speak German”

    The German government, after years of equivocating, has approved a measure that would require clergy from abroad to prove that they have sufficient German language skills before they are allowed to work in Germany.

    The move, aimed at cracking down on foreign government control over Muslims in Germany, comes after an academic study found that approximately 90% of the imams leading the 2,000 or so mosques in Germany are from abroad.

    The new measure, approved by the Cabinet on November 6, would amend two German laws — the Employment Regulation for Foreigners (Beschäftigungsverordnung) and the Residence Act (Aufenthaltsverordnung) — to stipulate that, in the future, anyone seeking to obtain a residence permit for the exercise of religious employment must demonstrate a sufficient knowledge of German.

    Important details about the measure, which must still be approved by the German Parliament, remain unclear. The government said that during a transition period, proof of “simple knowledge” of German would be acceptable. It did not, however, clarify how long that transition period would be, define what is a “sufficient” level of German, or say what will happen to the foreign imams currently leading German mosques. Will those imams be exempt from the measure, will they be required to learn German, or will they be replaced by other imams who have the requisite language skills?
