In the last French debate, Justin Trudeau said he has to continue the fight against Conservative premiers Jason Kenney, Doug Ford and the oil interests that support them.
I don’t know about you, but I think fighting against oil interests is as good as a declaration of war against Alberta. Would he have ever said that about the auto industry?
He also went on to say that it is necessary to have a strong government, full of Quebecers and full of francophones, who are going to be able to continue the fight against Conservatives. Wow, how divisive can this prime minister get. When was the last time a federal leader ever said we needed a government full of people from any other province or a government full of anglophones. How can anyone doubt that Justin Trudeau is out to destroy Alberta at any cost.

“The chief problem is that public service has a left-wing bias,” Moderate MP Edward Riedl argued in the debate on public service broadcasters held at the meeting.
Matilda Ekeblad, a representative from Östergötland, complained that too many programs on Sweden’s public broadcasters were light entertainment which brought no clear public benefit. “I don’t want to pay for overweight dogs or how priests find love,” she said.
Some in the debate called for the three public service broadcasters to be abolished, while others regretted the Moderate Party’s support for a recent decision to abolish the TV license, replacing it with an extra tax imposed on all working people.

6. UK: 20-strong Gang Target ‘White Bastards’, Cut Off Teenager’s Hand with Axe
A 20-strong gang set upon four tree surgeons in Rochdale, England, calling them “white bastards” and cutting off a teenage worker’s hand with an axe.
27-year-old Habibur Rahman, of Milnrow Road, Rochdale, gathered the mob after the workers had stopped him from abusing an elderly woman, the Manchester Evening Newsreports.
Rahman, incensed that he had been “disrespected” on his “territory”, tracked the four workers to the property they were working on in the rape gang blighted city, blocking them in by parking his car across the driveway while the mob approached armed with weapons including a claw hammer, knives, machetes, a knuckle-duster — and the fateful axe.
“I am not going to let them leave,” Rahman said from his car, abusing the workers as “white bastards” who were in his “country”, the court heard.
“They’re going to get what they deserve. They’re going to get stabbed.”
7. Liberals reveal they will regulate social media content if re-elected

The Liberal party has told an advocacy group that it will regulate social media content if re-elected.
The response came after the Ukrainian Canadian Congress sent a questionnaire to all federal parties, which included a question on “online hate and disinformation.”
In its response, the Liberal party made it clear that social media companies will have to abide by government “hate speech” rules or face consequences.
“To help stop the proliferation of violent extremism online, we will move forward with new regulations for social media platforms starting with a requirement that all platforms remove illegal content, including hate speech, within 24 hours or face significant financial penalties,” the Liberal response said.
(To be perfectly clear, hate speech in Canada is a selectively enforced set of standards which always move the bar towards Islam and leftism, and have nothing to do with hate or racism.)

1) Obama’s version of Fast and Furious as a program to let peope who couldn’t legally buy firearms legally buy firearms and smuggle them to Mexico. The idea was that US cops would kee[ am eye on the guns and arrest the criminals before they could commit a crime. Since US cops have trouble survelling people in Mexico they lost track of all of the firearms and people were killed (both US citizens and Mexican citizens) including several cops in both nations. A liberal reporter at CBS discovered what happened and started doing a series of reports on the scandal. When she insisted on putting the facts before the people CBS fired her to they could protect Obama.
