1. Huge fire tears through Oldham church

Roads have been closed – and residents have been asked to close their doors and windows.

 

Fire crews are tackling a huge fire at a church in Oldham.

The alarm was raised just after 9pm after smoke was seen billowing from St Mark with Christ Church in Glodwick.

The roof of the unoccupied rectory next door to the church was ‘well alight’, fire bosses chief said.

 

Pictures showed bright orange flames lapping up through the collapsing roof of the rectory and big plumes of smoke.

Six fire engines from six stations – Oldham, Chadderton, Hollins, Blackley, Heywood and Mossley – are currently at the scene on Glodwick Road which is currently closed.

 

“Firefighters quickly set to work and are tackling the flames using three hoses and a jet, and are battling the blaze from ground level and from above using an aerial ladder” the fire service said in a statement.

(It would be good to talk to an expert on arson and ask how, should you wish to burn a church down, would be the most effective way which is the hardest to control. As it does seem so many of these fires happen in the roofs.)

(Best to read the whole article at source. Many may interpret it differently than I did. I see this as quite typical socialist thought. “We have freedom of speech but not for that. Had you said something we agree with, no problemo”. Racism is a beard at this point as the term can now be applied to any group creating problems and demanding protection. It has bugger all to do with race but in some cases can be seen as a race to bugger.)

Update: More news on this guy jailed for stirring up racial hatred. (Although there is no mention of what race that I have seen so far, which likely means that now, illegal migrants are a race and deserving of special protection as a vulnerable group. We are so glad the Nazis didn’t think of these tactics. After all, they were a minority, even within Germany. They identified as their own race. Aryans, (which technically was a race identified with medieval Spain or Constantinople I believe) and were a highly identifiable group, mostly because of their distinctive Hugo Boss uniforms. So imagine if they hadn’t chased the Frankfurt School out of Germany. They may well have won using these language based deceptions.

3. Trudeau Grilled After Trying To Blame Scandals On “We”

It appears some journalists are starting to get tired of Justin Trudeau attempting to blame all of his scandals on “we,” rather than taking responsibility himself.

Trudeau was recently interviewed by Dawna Friesen of Global News.

 

Friesen asked Trudeau, “You were found guilty twice of ethics Violations, what have you learned?”

Trudeau responded by saying “we have more to do.”

But Friesen wasn’t having it:

 

“We, or you? You keep talking we, but these ethics violations were you.”

4. Finland Stakes on Women-Only Swimming Pool Hours for the Sake of Muslim Migrants

(WTF is it with muslims and pools? Its not like its a big cultural thing with muslims. I do not think the koran mentions swimming even once. Mind you it doesn’t mention Jerusalem either but they seem to think that is important for them to control)

However, this goes hand in hand with the ongoing discussion on what kind of swimwear should be accepted in public swimming pools. Some institutions permit women to swim in comprehensive bathing suits known as Burkinis (a portmanteau word for burqa and bikini), which have long sleeves, leggings and a hood and are mostly worn by Muslim women in accordance with the teachings of Islam orthodoxy where showing skin is prohibited. Others, by contrast, are against it due to security aspects and hygienic considerations.

5. Captain Morgan website asks visitors to confirm they are ‘non-Muslim’

People were outraged to find Captain Morgan asking visitors to confirm they were ‘non-Muslim’ before entering their US website.

 

It provoked intense theological debate online, with some calling it an example of ‘back door Sharia’ and others branding it ‘corporate racism’. Although Islam forbids the consumption of alcohol, there is nothing in US law forbidding the sale of alcohol to Muslims.

 

The age verification box was spotted on Saturday and quickly taken down, but Captain Morgan did not issue a statement until Metro.co.uk contacted the rum brand. Twitter users who defended the age verification message were asked if people should also have to swear they aren’t Jewish to order a bacon cheeseburger or if meat shouldn’t be served to Christians on Fridays.

6. 300 Boys Freed from Islamic School Where They Were Tortured, Sexually Abused

(AFP) — Police in the northern Nigerian city of Kaduna have rescued more than 300 male students from an Islamic school where many had been tortured and sexually abused, a police spokesman said Friday.

Officers raided a building in the Rigasa area city on Thursday where the victims including adults and minors were kept in “the most debasing and inhuman conditions in the name of teaching them the Koran and reforming them”, Kaduna state police spokesman Yakubu Sabo told AFP.

 

“We found around 100 students including children as young as nine, in chains stuffed in a small room all in the name of reforming them and making them responsible persons,” Sabo said.

 

The school which has been operating for a decade, enrolled students brought by their families to learn the Koran and be rehabilitated from drug abuse and other illnesses, police said.

The proprietor of the school and six staff were arrested during the raid.

500 Scientists Write U.N.: ‘There Is No Climate Emergency’

More than 500 scientists and professionals in climate and related fields have sent a “European Climate Declaration” to the Secretary-General of the United Nations asking for a long-overdue, high-level, open debate on climate change.

Just as 16-year-old Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg addressed the U.N. Climate Action Summit in New York accusing world leaders of robbing her of her future, scientists were begging the United Nations to keep hysteria from obscuring facts.

 

“Climate science should be less political, while climate policies should be more scientific,” the declaration states. “Scientists should openly address the uncertainties and exaggerations in their predictions of global warming, while politicians should dispassionately count the real benefits as well as the imagined costs of adaptation to global warming, and the real costs as well as the imagined benefits of mitigation.”
