4. Tesla police car nearly runs out of power during chase
A San Francisco-area police department says it still has full faith in a pilot program to use a Tesla electric patrol car, even though the vehicle reportedly ran low on power last week during a pursuit.
The East Bay Times newspaper reported that a Fremont police officer in the Tesla Model S, which the department bought in March, became involved in a police pursuit Friday but radioed dispatch to say that the electric vehicle warned that it had only 6 miles of battery life left and that he may not be able to continue in the chase.
Fremont police spokesperson Geneva Bosques told NBC Bay Area that the Tesla was not fully charged at the beginning of the officer’s shift at 2 p.m. and that the pursuit didn’t begin until around 11 p.m.
(Question: Does the car start to run slower and the lights dim as the battery runs down? A great think about gasoline, and bullets for that matter, is they work the same till you run out. Energy weapons work less and less well till charged again. Like a flashlight. Do the cars run like that?)
5. Pakistani PM Imran Khan Forecasts Bloodbath in India’s Kashmir When Curfew Lifted
The day before, Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan said during a press conference that after meeting world leaders at UN Headquarters in New York he was disappointed with the international community’s reaction on the events Kashmir.
The Pakistani prime minister said Friday at the United Nations General Assembly that there would be a bloodbath in Kasmir if curfew is lifted.
“There are 900,000 troops there, they haven’t come to, as Narendra Modi says — for the prosperity of Kashmir… These 900,000 troops, what are they going to do? When they come out? There will be a bloodbath,” he said.
The region of Kasmir has been a stumbling block in relations between two neighbouring countries – India and Pakistan, for many years.
Despite a ceasefire reached in 2003 after several armed conflicts, instability in the region continued, leading to the emergence of various extremist groups.

2 – The British Liberals have decided to use activist Judges to rewrite their Constitution the same way the libs in the US have been doing since FDR was President.
That’s what I was thinking. He says that if there is a majority government and they make a law, the Supreme Court can do nothing. What’s to stop them from striking down a law and saying it’s unconstitutional?
Not a thing, the libs do it all the time in the US, the only solution is to do what Trump is doing and appoint Judges that rule according to the original intent of the Constitution and the laws. I think that one of the purposed amendments for the Article 5 Convention of the States is to make it a criminal offense for a Judge to change the meaning of the laws or the Constitution.
