Daily Links Post graphic

Each day at just after midnight Eastern, a post like this one is created for contributors and readers of this site to upload news links and video links on the issues that concern this site. Most notably, Islam and its effects on Classical Civilization, and various forms of leftism from Soviet era communism, to postmodernism and all the flavours of galloping statism and totalitarianism such as Nazism and Fascism which are increasingly snuffing out the classical liberalism which created our near, miraculous civilization the West has been building since the time of Socrates.

This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

This is the new Samizdat. We must use it while we can.

  1. Boston Mayor Slams ‘Police Misconduct’ After ANTIFA Injures Four Cops Over the Weekend

Boston Mayor Martin Walsh is taking a page from Portland Mayor Ted Wheeler

Boston Mayor Martin Walsh decried “police misconduct” after four officers were injured due to coordinated assaults from ANTIFA terrorists who wanted to stop the “Straight Pride Parade” from taking place this past weekend.

“Let me be clear that I take any accusation of police misconduct seriously. I also want to be clear that sowing division between people is exactly the goal of Straight Pride organizers, and I will not stand for it,” Walsh said in a public statement.

“Just as the people of Boston work to make our values of love, inclusion and acceptance known to all, our public safety officials work tirelessly to keep people safe from harm every single day of the year, and that will never change,” he added.

  2. Italy: Salvini Down but Not Out

Matteo Salvini, Italy’s deputy premier and interior minister since 2018, has been shut out of the Italian government after his gambit to force snap elections to become prime minister backfired.

As the de facto leader of Europe’s anti-mass-migration movement, Salvini’s departure from government may set back efforts to slow illegal immigration to the continent. Many analysts, however, believe that Salvini, who continues to lead his rivals in opinion polls, will be back in government soon and in an even stronger position than before.

On August 8, after months of public feuding, Salvini declared the governing coalition between his League party and the anti-establishment Five Star Movement (M5S) unworkable. He accused M5S of blocking the League’s main policies and said that the only way forward was to hold fresh elections.

The League and M5S, ahead of an inconclusive election in March 2018, had been political adversaries. Three months later, however, they formed an unlikely alliance. Their June 2018 coalition agreement, outlined in a 39-page action plan, promised to crack down on illegal immigration and to deport up to 500,000 undocumented migrants.

  4. Totally terrific take-down of latest Kashmir kerfluffle:

Pakistan’s Anguish on Kashmir Elicits An Extremely Hollow International Response
Pakistan’s relentless anguish seems to have fallen on deaf ears and it remains in a tight spot on Kashmir.
Anybody who cares at all leans toward India:

“All of this, much to Pakistan’s deep chagrin, have bestowed a massive reality check for a country that has always strategically positioned itself as the protector of the world’s Muslims and played the Islamic card. (Of course, Pakistan too has hypocritically and conveniently overlooked the appalling plight of the Uighur Muslims in China and Saudi Arabia’s slaughtering of the Yemen population because of its own selfish interests.)”

The U.K. is increasingly responsive to its domestic Southeast Asian tardish constituency. A hostage to its most batty demographic.

  5. Erdogan says it’s unacceptable that Turkey can’t have nuclear weapons (memo, Sep 4, 2019)

“Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan said on Wednesday it was unacceptable for nuclear-armed states to forbid Ankara from obtaining its own nuclear weapons, but did not say whether Turkey had plans to obtain them, Reuters reports.

“Some countries have missiles with nuclear warheads, not one or two. But (they tell us) we can’t have them. This, I cannot accept,” he told his ruling AK Party members in the eastern city of Sivas.

“There is no developed nation in the world that doesn’t have them,” Erdogan said. In fact, many developed countries do not have nuclear weapons.

Turkey signed the Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty in 1980, and has also signed the 1996 Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty, which bans all nuclear detonations for any purpose.

Erdogan hinted that he wanted the same protection for Turkey as Israel.

“We have Israel nearby, as almost neighbours. They scare (other nations) by possessing these. No one can touch them.”

Foreign analysts say Israel possesses a sizable nuclear arsenal. Israel maintains a policy of ambiguity around the nuclear issue, refusing to confirm or deny its capabilities.”

“Although he expresses his regret after getting caught by security guards, it is the tenth time that the young Moroccan steals electronics and escapes to sell them later in the streets of Valencia,” explains Las Provincias…”

  7. Turkey: Over 117 terrorists neutralized in August (aa, Sep 4, 2019)

“Turkey “neutralized” 117 terrorists during counter-terrorism operations across the country in August, the country’s deputy interior minister said on Wednesday.

Turkish authorities often use the term “neutralized” to imply the terrorists in question surrendered or were killed or captured.

Ismail Catakli, also Interior Ministry spokesman, told a monthly briefing that some 117 terrorists were neutralized in August.

**A total of 10,800 counter-terror operations were carried out in rural areas and 895 in cities, he added.

The neutralized terrorists included 10 senior operatives. One was in the orange category and seven in the gray category of the Interior Ministry’s wanted list.

The wanted list is divided into five color-coded categories, with red as the most wanted, followed by blue, green, orange and gray.

Catakli said 52 terrorists were killed, 41 captured and 23 surrendered to security forces.

Also, 2,179 suspects were arrested over their suspected links to terrorist organizations and 272 of them were remanded in custody.

The security forces destroyed a total of 54 caves, shelters and hideouts used by the PKK terrorists during the operation.

He added that over 100 weapons including 61 heavy and long barreled guns, 29 mines, 61 hand grenades and 25 kg of explosives were seized.

    Internal security and drug operations

Referring to the ongoing Operation Kiran, Catakli said a total of 12 terrorists were neutralized — eight of them were killed, two caught alive and two surrendered.

He added that the security forces destroyed 43 caves and seized three rockets, four rocket launchers, 150 rocket ammunitions and many other weapons and emplacements.

On Aug. 18, Turkey launched Operation Kiran against PKK terrorists in Van, Hakkari and Sirnak provinces, followed by the launch of Operation Kiran-2 on Aug. 27 in the Mardin, Sirnak and Batman provinces.

Underlining 10,850 anti-drug operations were carried out in August, he said nearly 14,750 people were arrested and 1,587 were remanded in custody in the same month.

He said that the anti-drug operation team seized nearly five tons of marijuana, 648 kilograms of skunk weed, 1.3 tons of heroin and 84 kg of cocaine.

He added that 1,901 suspects were arrested over their links to drug trafficking and 14 of them were remanded in custody.

He also said that that the ministry initiated a legal procedure against 333 people as part of its fight against cyber crimes.

    Syrian refugee issue

He said a total of 47,316 irregular migrants were held the country in August.

He added that nearly 352,000 people returned to their homeland and 761 human smugglers were arrested in the same month.

Referring to a possible wave of migration from Syria’s Idlib, he said Turkey is geared-up for a new migration flow.

“Of course we do not want it [new wave of migration] in anyway. We especially want reestablishment of stability [in the region] as soon as possible, finding a solution to prevent more people from suffering,” he added.

Syria has been locked in a vicious civil war since early 2011, when the Bashar al-Assad regime cracked down on pro-democracy protests.

Since then, hundreds of thousands of people have been killed and more than 10 million others displaced, according to UN officials.

Turkey has been the main route for refugees trying to cross to Europe since 2011, when the civil war in Syria began.

In its more than 30-year terror campaign against Turkey, the PKK — listed as a terrorist organization by Turkey, the U.S. and the EU — has been responsible for the death of some 40,000 people, including women, children and infants.”

I just found another anti-India Islamist operation in the Deep South of America. They’re posing as “civil rights” group, but real motive is pushing Islamism.

I am telling you: There is a Muslim Brotherhood network and they are aiming for India and Hindus, and Israel and West.
