A baker’s deca of crazy plus Salvini gaining ground: Links 1, Aug. 4, 2019

1. The police in the UK clearly have taken on a new mission which is not fighting crime, protecting people from crime, and being respected in the general community, without stating what the new mission actually is.

2. Girl Guides leader to sue chiefs who expelled her after she objected to a controversial policy allowing boys who identify as female to join

(Once before on this site, we have seen rational groups using Marxist language to defeat itself. It seems to be a quite effective tactic for the moment. Until the Marxist motives behind much of today’s deconstructionist policies become more straightforward about their end game anyway)

A Girl Guides leader is set to sue the organisation after she was expelled for objecting to the controversial policy allowing boys who identify as female to join.

Katie Alcock is launching the landmark case against Girlguiding chiefs claiming that they have discriminated against her beliefs as a feminist.

Ms Alcock, who had been a leader for ten years, also fears that the change in the rules could affect child safety.

Concern has been raised over biological males sharing accommodation, showers and toilets with girls on trips away ever since The Mail on Sunday revealed the change in policy in 2017.

Ms Alcock says that as a feminist she believes males cannot change their biological sex, so should not be admitted to a group created for females.

Her dispute with the Guides began in June 2018 when, along with fellow leader Helen Watts, her objections to the transgender policy were secretly reported to the Girlguiding leadership.

A four-month investigation concluded she had breached the organisation’s social media rules by airing her concerns online.

It also ruled she had broken the ‘code of conduct’ by refusing to adhere to the Guides’ equality and diversity policy on transgender inclusion.

(So disagreeing with a policy publicly is also a firing offence? Has that always been the case? It seems rather Soviet, at least in this context. How did gay people and ‘trans’ activists manage to change so many policies if they were not allowed to disagree with previous policies publicly?)

3. ‘Puberty is not a disease’: Italian council moves to ban gender-bending drugs for kids

TRIESTE, Italy, July 23, 2019 (LifeSiteNews) — The regional council of Friuli Venezia Giulia, an autonomous region in northeastern Italy, approved a motion calling on the national government to prohibit so-called puberty-blocking drugs used in so-called reassignment treatment for gender-confused children.

In a July 17 move by a center-right majority led by the League party, the Friuli Venezia Giulia regional council approved a motion calling on Italy’s national government to prohibit the prescription of drugs that prevent normal sexual development of adolescents.

The League’s leader is Deputy Prime Minister Matteo Salvini, who is one of the three members in Italy’s coalition government that includes Deputy Prime Minister Luigi Di Maio of the Five Star Party (M5S) and Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte. The leftist parties in the regional council, including M5S, voted against the motion.

According to the council’s motion, “puberty is not a disease” and thus should not be prevented with surgery and medications that can produce irreversible effects. It also noted the long-term negative effects of drugs containing triptorelin.

(As wonderful as this is, its a trifle sad that such a rare moment of obvious sanity in the Western world is thought of as a wonderful thing.)

4. Manchester Arena bomber’s brother, 22, is granted legal aid to fight his murder charges while families of the 22 victims continue to be denied cash

The brother of the Manchester Arena terrorist has been given legal aid – but his victims haven’t.

Hashem Abedi, 22, will be represented by state lawyers when he goes to trial accused of 22 counts of murder for each of the victims killed.

But the families of the children and their parents murdered as they left the Ariana Grande concert in May 2017 have been denied taxpayer money to help their cases.

The shocking revelation was made at a pre-inquest hearing into the death of their loved ones, reports The Sun.

In court in Manchester on Friday the victims’ lawyer Paul Greaney QC told coroner Sir John Saunders: ‘Bereaved families are experiencing difficulties in obtaining funding from the Legal Aid Agency.’

6. Former Google Engineer Says Google Will Try to Prevent Trump’s Reelection

On Friday, former Google engineer Kevin Cernekee told Fox News’s Tucker Carlson that his former employer will try to prevent President Donald Trump’s reelection.

“Do you think that Google will attempt to influence the election outcome, attempt to prevent Trump from being reelected?” Carlson asked.

“I do believe so,” Cernekee replied. “I think that’s a major threat. They have openly stated that they think 2016 was a mistake. They thought Trump should have lost in 2016. They really want Trump to lose in 2020. That’s their agenda.”

The former engineer also said Google has “very biased people running every level of the company. They have quite a bit of control over the political process. That’s something we should really worry about.”

This video is quite disturbing.

7. Iran seizes third foreign tanker, says it was carrying ‘smuggled fuel’

Iranian media reports 7 crew members aboard ship captured Wednesday have been arrested; Revolutionary Guards commander says vessel was bringing fuel to Arab Gulf states

TEHRAN, Iran (AP) — The Iranian Revolutionary Guard seized a ship in the Persian Gulf suspected of carrying smuggled fuel, state media reported Sunday, marking Iran’s third seizure of a commercial vessel in recent weeks and the latest show of strength by the paramilitary force amid a spike in regional tensions.

State TV and the semi-official Fars news agency reported that seven crew members were detained when the ship was seized late Wednesday carrying 700,000 liters of “smuggled fuel” from Iran. The local reports did not provide further details on the vessel or the nationality of the crew

8. Salvini Victory: NGO Ship Gives Up on Landing Migrants in Italy, Heads to Malta

The German-based NGO Sea-Eye have announced they will not be challenging the closed port policy of Lega leader Matteo Salvini, opting instead to head for Malta to drop off migrants.

The Sea-Eye vessel Alan Kurdi announced on Friday that they would be changing course from the Italian island of Lampedusa and heading instead to the Maltese port capital of Valletta, Il Giornalereports.

Gordon Isler, a spokesman for the NGO, said they would “not offer Matteo Salvini another opportunity for such an unworthy show. We take our responsibilities to the saved people seriously and now we go to Malta.”

9. UN Warns Of ISIS Terror Attack By End Of Year

(Odd. Given that the UN is run by the OIC and is busy creating and enforcing anti blasphemy laws only for Islam all over the world in all but name, I thought the UN was an Islamic State terror attack)

There’s new concerns out of the UN, that ISIS could launch a terror attack by the end of the year.

A recent report by UN analysts claim there are thousands of fighters still remaining, despite the group being pushed out of Iraq and Syria.

They said these individuals are working to plan more attacks throughout the world, and may even be considering joining Al Qaeda or other terror groups.

The UN is now growing concerned, as thousands of people who joined ISIS leave the Middle East, and return to their home countries.

They are worried this could lead to more people becoming radicalized.

10. Salvini Vows Criminal Migrants Will Be Punished, Deported: ‘We Are Becoming a Serious Country Again’

ROME — Italian interior minister Matteo Salvini has promised to expel a Nigerian migrant who attacked a passenger on a tram in Florence Friday morning, sending her to the hospital.

The Nigerian, a 22-year-old asylum seeker who was already deported once in 2017 and, after re-entering the country illegally, was again deported in 2018, punched a 36-year-old woman seated in front of her on the tram.

The assault provoked a scene on the tram, leading other passengers to restrain the woman until the police could arrive and arrest her.

The police took the Nigerian attacker to the hospital for a psychiatric evaluation, having found her to be in a “confused state,” Italian media reported. When questioned, she was unable to provide any reason for her assault on the other woman.

In a Facebook post, Salvini, who has been committed to restoring the rule of law, said that this sort of behavior would no longer be tolerated.

11. Online ISIS supporter deemed a danger to Canada ordered released from custody

A Jordanian man who has been declared a danger to Canada’s security for spreading ISIS propaganda on the internet is being released from custody to live in rural B.C. while the government tries to deport him.

Immigration and Refugee Board Member Geoff Rempel ordered the release of Othman Hamdan on Friday afternoon, rejecting the Canada Border Service Agency’s concerns that he is a risk to national security

While Rempel acknowledged the release involved “a level of danger to the public,” he said it was less than in other cases and Hamdan had no history of committing violence in Canada.

He imposed more than two dozen conditions on Hamdan, including that he not drive or possess weapons or electronic devices capable of accessing the Internet. He must also not make any social media posts or have contact with ISIS.

(And what deeply religious and observant muslim would not hesitate to follow those rules to the letter? Why none of them of course!)

Thank you M., Wrath of Khan, Xanthippa, Richard, EB., PC., and all who have helped and contributed in any way at all.

Now this photo needs a good explanation. Short of that, it needs some really funny captions.

  1. 7 & 9 – Iran and China are good friends, China wants the worlds attention on other regions besides Hong Kong, Iran does them a favor or two.

Remember how during the Obama Years North Korea and Iran would keep the worlds attention bouncing between the two locations like a tennis ball.

  2. If you told these people, half of them men, they would have to wear the bloody thing whenever outside their homes, on pain of death or flogging, I don’t think they’d find this ‘freedom’ so attractive.

  3. A special task force needs to be dispatched to hunt down and kill every single one of the miserable bastards who signed up to fight for ISIS. They knew they were going to be committing war crimes and they went anyway so there is no need for mercy of any kind. They cannot even say, “I was just following orders”. They knew what they were getting into and need to be hanged for their crimes – with a bill for the rope being sent to their mothers for teaching them to hate…
