Iran attack on Paris foiled: Links 1, June 26, 2019

1. Gotta love those Russian counter-terror guys. Every week in the Contributor’s Links post, there are great videos of the FSB (I think) busting into a nest of jihadis, arresting them, then showing to the cameras the stashes of explosives, weapons and Islamic literature. This is no exception.
But in this case the muslim terrorist got killed during the event.

Russia: Muslim terrorist killed during counter-terrorism operation in Saratov

A counter-terrorism operation in the Russian city of Saratov ended with one Muslim being killed, as shown in footage released on Wednesday.

 

According to the Federal Security Service (FSB) Public Relations Centre the armed terrorist was ‘neutralized’ after resisting arrest.

 

The reported member of the so-called Islamic State was allegedly planning an act of terrorism in a crowded location.

The FSB stated that the Muslim fighter acquired everything necessary for the manufacture of explosive devices and had equipped a laboratory for synthesizing explosives in a garage.

 

The secret service noted that firearms, ammunition and components of several explosive devices were found and seized at the scene of the incident.

5. Ottawa unveils anti-racism strategy, which includes definition of Islamophobia

The three-year strategy fulfils key recommendations from a parliamentary committee study that arose from a controversial anti-Islamophobia motion, M-103

OTTAWA — The federal government has released a new anti-racism strategy that promises $45 million to fight systemic discrimination through community programs, public education campaigns and combating online hate.

 

The three-year strategy, unveiled in Toronto on Tuesday by Heritage Minister Pablo Rodriguez, fulfils key recommendations from a parliamentary committee study that arose from a controversial anti-Islamophobia motion, M-103, which concluded last year. […]

 

The strategy promises $4.6 million to establish an anti-racism secretariat within the federal Heritage department that would “lead a whole-of-government approach in addressing racism” and would report publicly on its results.

 

It commits another $30 million to community-based projects focused on reducing barriers to employment and participation in sport, arts and culture. It promises further investments in a national awareness campaign and to improve data collection regarding racism and discrimination.

 

The government is also pledging $5 million for civic literacy programs that “address online disinformation and hate speech.” The document points out that Canada joined the Christchurch Call to Action, a pledge to fight violent extremism online, following the March shootings at two mosques in Christchurch, New Zealand.

 

The federal government has also chosen a definition of Islamophobia. It defines Islamophobia as “Includ(ing) racism, stereotypes, prejudice, fear or acts of hostility directed towards individual Muslims or followers of Islam in general. In addition to individual acts of intolerance and racial pro?ling, Islamophobia can lead to viewing and treating Muslims as a greater security threat on an institutional, systemic and societal level.”

(No mention of any call to action for the thousands of Christians, Jews and non believers in islam, murdered by muslims everywhere on Earth for jihad. For policy purposes, only when muslims are killed does it matter. Huston,… etc.)

6. Nicaragua: Police arrest 4 ISIS terrorists on their way to Mexico

Four Muslim terrorists with ties to ISIS were captured on Tuesday by members of the Nicaraguan armed forces after entering the country illegally from Costa Rica.

 

The identities of three of the terrorists matched those of suspects featured in an alert attributed to US Homeland Security Investigations warning Mexican authorities that three terrorists had recently arrived in Central America.

The Egyptians were named as Mohamed Ibrahim, 33, and Mahmoud Samy Eissa, 26, while the Iraqis were Ahmed Ghanim Mohamed Al Jubury, 41 and Mustafa Ali Mohamed Yaoob, 29.

7. Hamas sleeper cell and Islamic Jihad discovered working together inside UNRWA

“The head of UNRWA’s employees’ union in the Gaza Strip is a fairly anonymous Hamas official who has been placed by the terror organization inside the agency as a “sleeper” who can use the organization’s resources for Hamas’ purposes.” Alarming news considering the enormous global funding going into UNRWA [United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees];  and in fact into other jihad terror groups who manipulate ‘charities’ who claim to aid the ever expanding Palestinian refugee “crisis”.

 

If Western funding for all jihad terror organization (and all of their affiliates) ended, the jihad mission against Israel and against the West would be substantially stymied.

While many Western governments have rightly condemned state-funding of terror, they too have found themselves reeled in, in the name of humanitarianism, to fund the same jihad terror. Only Donald Trump has been taking an active role in ending such funding. For example, he pulled out of the Iran Deal, cut hundreds of millions in ‘aid’ to Pakistan; and while America was UNRWA’s biggest single donor, last year, the U.S. ended all funding for UNRWA .

 

The U.S. State Department described the agency as “irredeemably flawed”.  UNRWA was found to be inciting anti-Israel sentiment within its Jerusalem schools. Arab children were “being taught that they will one day destroy Israel and replace it with a Palestinian state.” The Palestinian jihad terror mission continues to thrive on Western taxpayer dollars.

8. IRAN ATTEMPTED ATTACK IN PARIS, HALF A TON OF EXPLOSIVES FOUND – REPORT

(Remember that it was revealed that Hizb’allah had 3 tonnes of explosives in London a few weeks ago, although the discovery was much older)

Half a ton of explosives was brought to Paris in a diplomatic suitcases in order to carry out a terror attack, before being foiled by French authorities, it was reported in the British media.

The British newspaper “Independent in Arabic” quoted an intelligence source as saying that in 2018 Iran had delivered half a ton of TATP explosives in diplomatic packages to a civilian plane that was supposed to be transferred to Paris to carry out an attack in the city.

According to the report, the plane arrived from Tehran to Geneva in June 2018, following an Iranian plan to carry out a terrorist attack during a meeting of the Iranian opposition. According to a report based on intelligence sources, the attack was supposed to be carried out by an Iranian intelligence official who worked at the Iranian embassy in Austria since 2014, but French intelligence thwarted the attack after the authorities arrested a Belgian couple of Iranian origin who had the explosives in their car on their way to Paris.

(It almost looks like Iran was trying to get the US to make a strike that would make a decent casus Belli, in order to justify launching terror-cell attacks across the West that are clearly in place. Because if they were found out in London and Paris, they are almost certainly in Montreal, Ottawa, Washington and LA etc.)
