1. Revealed: Islamist Infiltration of French Public Services

French media have leaked details from a report on Islamic extremism within the French public service, claiming that many in the public sector are concerned about Islamist infiltration.

The new report, which has been compiled by MPs Éric Diard of the conservative Republicans and Éric Poulliat of President Emmanuel Macron’s La République En Marche! (LREM/Republic on the Move), questioned senior officials, researchers, and workers such as police and firefighters about Islamic radicalisation.

According to leaked information from the report given to French news magazine Le Point,  many of those interviewed by the MPs expressed concern over the issue, with one of the most poignant stories coming from a trade unionist from the RATP, the company in charge of the public transportation system in Paris. The trade unionist claimed that “premises are forbidden to women in terminals” and added that “practising Muslims are targeting non-practising female believers”.

This seems like a good time to repost the excellent Israeli documentary on Muslim Brotherhood in France, which shows much more dangerous levels of control than the leaked portions of this report does:

2. Pope seeks more freedom in theology, dialogue with Islam

Pope Francis called Friday for a reform of the way theology is taught in Catholic schools, saying students must learn about dialogue with Judaism and Islam, and that overall there must be greater freedom in theological research and academic pursuits.

The Jesuit pope made the call during a speech at the Jesuit-run theology university in Naples. It follows his outreach this year to the Muslim world with the signing of a joint statement with the imam of Cairo’s Al Azhar, the seat of Sunni learning, establishing the relationship between Catholics and Muslims as brothers, with a common mission to promote peace.

(Just spitballing here, but it feels more like the pope is asking to make heresy mainstream, and force Catholics to submit to islam and sacrifice freedoms, not get more freedom, as he says in para-1. This seems to be the trend with this pope as he even justified Islamic violence if their faith is offended.)

Here the pope uses classic MAFIA like language to justify Islamic terror as a response to criticism of Islam:

3. Court sentences Lahore man to death over blasphemy

(I’m sure the Pope would be for and against this)

A sessions court in Lahore sentenced a man to death in a three-year-old blasphemy case and fined him Rs200,000.

In 2016, police had filed a first information report against a man identified as Saleem under Section 295-C of the Pakistan Penal Code after he had uttered blasphemous remarks in a public place in the Lohari Gate area.

According to Deputy Prosecutor General Muhammad Amjad,12 witnesses had recorded testimonies against Saleem. Six of the testimonies had been recorded in court, while the other half were recorded via video link due to security concerns.

Half the trial had been conducted in court, and the other half via video link while the accused remained in Camp Jail for security purposes. Additional sessions judge Faizul Hassan read the verdict out to Saleem over video link.

(When you read that they had to do part of the trial over video-link due to security concerns, one’s first thought as a person from a civilized country might be, “how does a guy who says some stuff about islam and its icons suddenly become Hannibal Lecter? Then you realize that its probably to keep him safe from the howling mobs likely in the thousands that could easily grow to hundreds of thousands, that would kill the accused, and his lawyer, before any evidence, such as it is, would be heard in court at all and before he could be executed ritually by the state for whatever it is he said, that we cannot know, as its blasphemous.)

6. Sweden Opens Door to Increased Chain Migration

The Swedish parliament, the Riksdag, has voted in favour of making it easier for Syrian migrants and refugees to bring family members to the country, with only two parties voting against the proposal.

All of the parties in the Riksdag voted for the measure except for the centre-right Moderates and the populist Sweden Democrats (SD).

The two parties also voted against the so-called “high school law” which has allowed thousands of Afghan migrants to remain in the country, Swedish broadcaster SVT reports.

7. Migrant Transport NGOs Spending Millions Per Year on Operations

While many migrant transport NGOs have ceased operations over the last few years, a report claims that millions of euros are still being spent by those operating in the Mediterranean.

The number of NGOs operating off the coast of Libya has dwindled since populist Italian interior minister Matteo Salvini closed the country’s ports in 2018, but two NGOs remain — and according to a report from newspaper Il Giornale, and they have a combined spend of millions per year.

German NGO Sea-Watch, which currently has a ship with 42 migrants off the coast of the Italian island of Lampedusa, took in 1.7 million euros last year and 1.6 million the year before.

In 2017 alone, the NGO is estimated to have spent around 1.9 million euros including 456,000 euros to purchase the vessel Sea-Watch 3 and another 328,000 to keep the ship fuelled and operational.

Sea-Watch was allocated 421,000 euros towards the ship Sea-Watch 2 and another 70,000 for the fuel and maintenance of Sea-Watch 1. The NGO also has a small aircraft named Moonbird based in Lampedusa, used to locate ships in the Mediterranean, which they paid 359,000 euros to begin operations.

8. Speaking of more migrants to Sweden…

Underage Migrant Reportedly Rapes Foster Family’s Daughter, Says He Thought It Was Legal in Sweden

While the suspect’s legal guardian pointed out the teenager’s progress at school and described the event as “one-off”, the court decided to place the alleged culprit into special care and later prosecute him for child rape.

An unaccompanied 17-year-old migrant boy is suspected of having raped a much younger girl in the foster family where he was placed. In his defence, he explained during the interrogation that this was perfectly legal in his home country, and no one told him otherwise in Sweden, the newspaper Lokaltidningen reported.

According to the victim, she was forced to have sex with the 17-year-old in April this year. He, in turn, admitted to having sex with her, but argued that he was unaware that this is against the law. Instead, he described it as “something happening between two children”.

“[NN] has admitted the event to some extent but stated that he does not know the laws that apply in the country with regard to sex and cohabitation. Rectors at schools are obliged to inform every single person about the rules that apply to sex and cohabitation in Sweden,” the administrative court said, as quoted by Lokaltidningen.

However, it also transpired that the accused was clearly explained the rules that apply in Sweden to sexual relations at his previous accommodations.

9. Toronto imam charged with sexual assault after allegedly convincing woman she was possessed

(And of course there is only one way to drive out a Djinn from a decent looking woman. The holy pink torpedo of Allah)

A Toronto imam has been arrested and charged with multiple counts of sexual assault after allegedly trying to board a plane to leave the country amid an investigation into allegations against him.

Police are concerned there may be other victims.

The 49-year-old came to the attention of investigators in early 2019 when a woman came forward alleging the imam had sexually assaulted her, police say.

In a news release Wednesday, police said the woman first met the imam at a mosque over a decade ago in 2008. At the time, they say, the imam went to the woman’s home, convinced her that she was possessed and that he could help her.

Police allege the woman was sexually assaulted at the imam’s home during what he claimed was a religious ceremony.

The alleged assaults continued for a period of several years, they say.

Police also say the imam threatened to harm the woman on numerous occasions, as well as threatening to “expose her to the community and congregation.” […]

The imam now faces a string of charges, including:

  • Breach of trust.

  • Three counts of sexual assault.

  • Threatening death.

  • Criminal harassment.
