In the street: Bearded man brutally stabs German woman (VIDEO)+++
A “blonde German woman” was seriously injured in Moroccan Tangier on Saturday, 15 June. The perpetrator, known to the woman, had rammed a knife into the woman’s neck in the street. Whether the perpetrator could be caught is not known at the moment.The German woman, aged about 50, is said to have lived with the alleged perpetrator and another man. She would have got into an argument with the perpetrator in the street. He had tried to steal her handbag and then stabbed her. Social media circulated a video showing a blonde woman lying motionless on the ground. Eyewitnesses reported that a bearded man had stabbed her in the neck.German media reported that the German Foreign Office had not responded to a request from the German Press Agency (DPA). Neither the name nor the exact origin of the victim have been clarified. There is also no further information on the condition of the woman, who was admitted to hospital with life-threatening injuries. The perpetrator is wanted.

The Sweden Democrats’ prohibition proposal is to be introduced from pre-school through high school. Exceptions should only be made for regular language lessons and Sweden’s official so-called minority languages, which are Finnish, Yiddish, Romani as well as Sami and Meänkieli, the two Finnish-Ugric languages spoken in the north of the country.
If they have their way, Swedish will become the only language spoken during lessons and breaks. At present, numerous foreign languages are spoken at the county’s schools, which, according to the Sweden Democrats breeds exclusion and misunderstanding.
“To dare to demand that only Swedish is spoken in our schools is to take responsibility for the school, something that unfortunately has been lacking for a long time. Therefore, we are convinced that it Swedish should normally be used as language of conversation in corridors and classrooms, for faster integration into Swedish society,” the party said, as quoted by the local newspaper Lokaltidningen.
According to the Sweden Democrats, this measure will help the newcomers adapt to Swedish society.
“Many new arrivals have come to our municipality and many of them cannot speak Swedish at all. The key to entering Swedish society is the language. To get a decent job, you should read newspapers, take part in media, then you have to speak Swedish to get a decent job,” Lars Nyström, member of the Skurup City Council and Sweden Democrats group leader, told Expressen. According to him, immigrants are free speak their own languages when they go home.
For historic reasons, Finnish was for centuries Sweden’s second most widely-spoken language, but was estimated to have been surpassed by Arabic at some point in 2018. This shift is largely due to an influx of asylum seekers from the Arabic-speaking countries amid the European migrant crisis. In 2015 alone, Sweden took in 163,000 asylum seekers, most of them from Arabic-speaking Muslim countries.

While many priests and bishops have come out against Salvini and his anti-mass migration policies, Monsignor Crociata stated that he is more interested in fighting Satan than Salvini in an interview with Roman Catholic website La Fede Quotidiana.

Other priests have taken a radically different view of Salvini’s policies including Father Alex Zanotelli who referred to the League leader as the “antichrist” during a sermon last year at the Vatican.

“YouTube has blacklisted the channel of Spain’s populist Vox Party, in a move that will likely exacerbate claims that Google is actively suppressing right-leaning and conservative content.
“YouTube has deleted Vox’s entire channel without explanation,” the party wrote on Twitter. “The decision to remove the channel is a serious attack on the freedom of expression and dissemination of a political party. We demand an explanation from YouTube and that the account is restored as soon as possible.”
Vox later revealed that YouTube had taken the decision on the grounds that left-wing activists had lodged complaints of copyright infringement.
“YouTube has informed us that the disabling of the VOX channel is due to the complaint made by three people who believe that we have used the content of theirs,” they explained. “The three people who have denounced us are left-wing activists… We have found that other political parties and progressive channels use the same audiovisual resources without being denounced for it.”
The Vox party later used the blacklisting to accuse YouTube of bowing to the demands of left-wing activists, a trend extensively documented by Breitbart News and other conservative news sources.
“We take advantage of this fact to show our outrage at the arbitrary actions of Twitter, Facebook and Google; hypersensitive to the requests of activists of totalitarian Marxism and the establishment,” they continued. “We show our support to all those who, like us, have been affected by these arbitrary actions by those responsible for these social networks in recent months.”
The move provides fresh evidence of political meddling on behalf of Google and other major Silicon Valley firms. In April’s general election, the Vox Party won 24 seats in the Spanish parliament, obtaining around 10 percent of the nationwide vote. The party also recently returned three MEP’s in last month’s European Parliamentary Elections.

According to Thursday’s decision by an appeals court in the southern city of Szeged, an Afghan man and two Bulgarian accomplices were sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole, while another Bulgarian man may request his release after 30 years in prison. A year ago, all four had been given 25-year sentences for belonging to a criminal organization and committing multiple crimes, including human smuggling and manslaughter.
Ten other defendants, mostly Bulgarians, were given prison terms ranging between four and 12 years.”

“Lebanese authorities are making their most aggressive campaign yet for Syrian refugees to return home and are taking action to ensure they can’t put down roots.
Mirroring the rise of anti-migrant sentiment in Europe and around the world, some in Lebanon say that after eight years of war in neighboring Syria they have had enough of the burden of the highest concentration of refugees per capita in the world — 1 million amid a Lebanese population of nearly 5 million — especially at a time when they are facing austerity measures and a weakened economy.
Anti-refugee sentiment in Lebanon has waxed and waned in the past. It’s been persistent but limited among a public torn by conflicting feelings — resentment over past domination by Syria and worry over the refugees’ impact on their country’s delicate sectarian balance, but also sympathy for the refugees amid memories of their own displacement during Lebanon’s long civil war.
But this time a rising star in the country’s politics has latched onto the issue. Foreign Minister Gebran Bassil has led the campaign, saying Syrians should return home and using nationalist language, like saying the “genetic distinction” of Lebanese will unite them to confront the refugee issue.
During one rally organized by Bassil’s party this month — held under the slogan of “Employ a Lebanese” — protesters chanted, “Syria get out,” and some attempted to storm a shop run by a Syrian, sparking a scuffle. Posters have popped up in streets and online calling on residents to report any Syrian working without a permit.
The tensions point to how a backlash in host countries burdened by long and intractable refugee situations intertwines with local politics at a time when numbers of displaced worldwide have swelled to record levels. The U.N. refugee agency said Wednesday 71 million people are uprooted from their homes as of this year — 26 million of them refugees, double the number the world had 20 years ago.
“Out of this grim number, Lebanon stands out as the country that has the highest number of refugees per capita,” said Mireille Girard, the UNHCR representative in Lebanon. “It is a huge responsibility that Lebanon is shouldering and the whole world has to show solidarity with the countries that are in the front of refugee flow.”
Allies of Bassil in the government have begun enforcing laws that were previously rarely implemented, shutting down shops owned by or employing Syrians without permits and ordering the demolition of anything in refugee camps that could be a permanent home.
The refugees are trying to weather the storm.
In the town of Arsal, near the Syrian border, where 60,000 refugees live in informal camps set up in the fields, Syrians have been tearing down brick and concrete walls they had built trying to make their shacks of canvas, sheet metal and plastic able to withstand the elements in the mountainous areas that sees harsh winters. The military gave them until July 1 to remove any wall taller than waist high.
The Syrians said no matter how much authorities squeeze them, they have no choice but to stay.
“They think a concrete block is what’s keeping us here?” one woman, Um Hassan, said angrily. She said she can’t go back because her sons will be drafted into the military of Syrian President Bashar Assad. The demolition order, she said, left her and her family sleeping without a roof over their head for over a week.
Most of the Syrians who came to Lebanon since 2011 were impoverished and dispossessed. Despite years of receiving aid, 51 percent of Syrian refugee families survive on less than $3 a day and 88 percent of households are in debt. Of more than 660,000 school-aged Syrians in Lebanon, 54% are not enrolled in formal education and an estimated 40% remain out of any kind of certified schooling.
Many Lebanese, in turn, complain that — despite $6 billion of foreign aid invested to support Lebanon — the flood of refugees has overwhelmed schools and the already debilitated infrastructure, increased rents and forced Lebanese to compete with cheap Syrian labor. Some are resentful of aid stipends some Syrians receive, pointing out that they don’t pay taxes and often work illegally as well.
Lebanese face an upcoming year of austerity measures trying to repair the economy. Critics say politicians are using the Syrians as a scapegoat for Lebanon’s worsening economic crisis and endemic corruption.
“The Lebanese public is frustrated and … wants anything to dump all their anger on. So who is the weakest, the refugee,” said journalist Diana Moukalled.
Bassil is the leader of the largest Christian party in parliament and the government and the son-in-law of the country’s president. He has been mobilizing a popular base and boosting his credentials as the prime protector of Christians — some believe with the aim of one day replacing his 84-year father in law, President Michel Aoun.
He has popularized the term “Lebanon above all,” while warning of an “international conspiracy” to settle Syrians in Lebanon. While pushing at home for implementation of laws against refugees, he has lobbied abroad for increased aid to Lebanon and an organized return of refugees.
He has gained ground in a political sphere divided over refugees and the Syrian war in general.
“The one who speaks of refugees returning is not a racist or a fascist, and those accusing us of racism either benefit (from the issue) or are conspirators,” he said during a recent conference.
Bassil’s ally, Hezbollah, has backed Assad’s government in the fight against rebels. His political opponents — including other Christian parties and the main Muslim Sunni party led by Prime Minister Saad Hariri — have sided with Syria’s opposition. Hariri called Bassil’s rhetoric “racist,” and the prime minister and his allied have pushed against his campaign.
At a recent small rally in Beirut, politicians, activists and Syrians held banners against hate speech. Paula Yacoubian, an independent Armenian Christian politician at the rally, said the campaign to “dehumanize” refugees is irresponsible.
“This is destructive and, even if it brings someone popularity for now, in the long run it is very harmful, for Lebanon and the Lebanese first of all,” she said.
Nasser Yassin, a professor of public policy at the American University of Beirut, said he doesn’t believe there will be a widespread public backlash against the refugees. But the rise of similar sentiments around the world makes it harder to challenge.
“If Europe is actually violating human rights when it comes to pushing people trying to cross the Mediterranean back to the Libyan militias, they will turn a blind eye or (be) silent when the Lebanese government is applying it,” he said.
The campaign is not simply political rhetoric.
Local vigilantes recently set fire to three tents in a refugee camp in the eastern town of Deir al-Ahmar, and Syrians there scuffled with the Lebanese firefighters, injuring one. An eviction order followed from the municipality, forcing 400 Syrians to move to a new spot to set up their tents.
In a possible violation of its international obligations, Lebanon in April deported at least 16 Syrians, including some registered as refugees, after they arrived in Beirut airport. Human Rights Watch and other groups said some of the deported expressed fear of persecution in Syria and were forced to sign “voluntary” repatriation forms, despite Beirut’s commitment not to forcibly return any Syrians.
Lebanese authorities estimate that over 170,000 Syrians have returned to their country between December 2017 and March 2019, many through government-organized bus trips.
Aid groups and many Western countries say conditions are not yet right for refugees’ return to Syria, with lack of a political resolution and guarantees for their security.
In Arsal, Abu Fares, an organizer of the Syrian camp, said the campaign to apply labor and building laws really aims to harass Syrians into returning home. He is campaigning to get an exemption or longer grace period for the disabled or elderly in the camp who can’t do their own demolition.
A defector from Syria’s police force, Abu Fares said he can’t even fathom a return to Syria without a political settlement, a pardon and new laws. “But if they can’t have us here, just say it and take us out of Lebanon” to another country besides Syria, he said.
But some have succumbed to pressure. Arsal’s mayor, Bassel al-Hujairi, said nearly 200 Syrians registered to return to Syria after the new orders to bring down the walls.
Abu Ossama, a 74-year old Syrian and a retired army general, said he put his name on the list.
“I used to be safe here. It is not anymore,” he said. “God will be my protector.””

“Turkey’s state-run news agency says a court in Ankara has sentenced several people accused of being the ringleaders of the 2016 failed military coup to life terms in prison.
Anadolu Agency says those sentenced on Thursday include Akin Ozturk, a former air force commander and Ali Yazici, who was President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s military aide. The sentences are still being handed down.
The suspects were on trial on charges of crimes against the state, leading an armed terror group, attempting to assassinate the president and the deaths of 249 people.
The trial is considered the main one among several underway in Turkey in relation to the coup attempt that the government says was carried out by followers of U.S.-based cleric Fethullah Gulen. The cleric denies involvement.”
‘Climate Emergency’: Ireland Set to Ban Private Cars While Planning Mass Third World Migration (breitbart, Jun 20, 2019)

“Drivers will be forced off the roads in Ireland and the population packed into “higher density” cities under a long-awaited climate plan which will ‘revolutionise’ people’s lifestyle and behaviours, according to local media.
“Nudge” policies such as huge tax hikes, as well as bans and red tape outlined in the plan, will pave the way to a “vibrant” Ireland of zero carbon emissions by 2050 according to the government, which last year committed to boost the country’s 4.7 million-strong population by a further million with mass migration.
In order to avert a “climate apocalypse”, the government plans to force people “out of private cars because they are the biggest offenders for emissions”, according to transport minister Shane Ross whose proposals — which include banning fossil fuel vehicles from towns and cities nationwide — are posed to cripple ordinary motorists, local media reports.
Launching the plan in Dublin, leader Leo Varadkar outlined his vision for an Ireland of ‘higher density’ cities consisting of populations whose lifestyles and behaviours have been totally transformed by ‘carrot and stick’ policies outlined in the climate plan.
“Our approach will be to nudge people and businesses to change behaviour and adapt new technologies through incentives, disincentives, regulations and information,” the globalist prime minister said.
“We are going to change how electricity is produced and consumed, how our homes and workplaces are heated; the way we travel; the types of vehicles we purchase; and how food is produced.
“It’s about vibrant, populated city centres, liveable, with excellent amenities and transport as we embrace higher densities.”
The document, which was unveiled on Tuesday, features more than 180 measures to decarbonise the Irish economy including making private car ownership prohibitively expensive — with petrol and diesel car sales banned by 2030, a date by which it says general carbon tax will be increased from €20 a tonne to “at least” €80.
In addition, the plans demand that coal and peat-fired power stations are replaced with wind farms and other “green” energy sources in order to meet the requirement that 70 per cent of electricity will be generated from renewables by 2030.
But plans to dramatically slash carbon emissions by ditching tried and tested energy sources such as coal and nuclear in favour of renewables will necessarily result in a collapse in living standards according to scientists including Cambridge engineering professor Michael Kelly, who has previously explained that such proposals “represent total madness”.
“In energy terms the current generation of renewable energy technologies alone will not enable a civilised modern society to continue,” he asserted in a peer-reviewed paper published in 2016, pointing out that renewables such as solar, wind, and hydro power supply just seven per cent of electricity needs globally while “the rate at which fossil fuels are growing is seven times that at which the low carbon energies are growing”.

The Dutch government subsidizes electric cars, and built free charging stations in the large cities. In the medieval centres that is, where only rich people can afford to live. Also, these cars are Teslas, which are pretty expensive too. So millionaires get 25,000 EU in tax payer money for their expensive toys, which they can only use for shopping. Of course, they all have 2nd and 3rd cars, gas guzzling Beemers, Mercs and Audis to commute or holiday.
The green energy thing is failing miserably too, one reason being the US is exporting mega-cheap coal. The netherlands has never burned so much coal in history.. Meanwhile the government wants to shut down an expensive state-of-the-art, clean and efficient coal plant, a few years after it started production. Building wind parks is taking forever, problems with planning permission and there’s little space anyway. Output is variable, at peak it’s more than the network can handle, so they’re shut down.
Using biofuel leads to deforestation and drives up food prices, so that’s banned or will soon be.
The government wants to wean people off gas, so installation of heat pumps is stimulated with interest-free loans. These require more electricity than the network can handle, and can only heat a house if it’s insulated to the max.
Ordinary lightbulbs are banned.. I tried LEDs, they all broke down on me within a few weeks (shitty electronics break down, which makes them blink).
Politicians are now talking about making food more expensive, since “food production is polluting”.. it already is expensive, but that’s due to a supermarket near-monopoly. The farmers can’t charge honest prices and are driven to bankruptcy.
All these policies are utter fails. The people who dream this up are out of touch, seem to have no technical background whatsoever, and don’t understand economics.
As for migration.. let’s not go there.

“A new study by Dutch authorities on the rate of deportations of failed asylum seekers across Europe has found that only 6.5 per cent of illegal migrants in Belgium are actually sent back home.
The study, which was released this week, is based on figures from the European Union statistics agency Eurostat and covers a period from 2013 to 2017, French-language Belgian magazine Le Vif reports.
Asylum seekers from countries such as Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, Iran, Somalia, and Eritrea are the main focus of the study which found other countries across Europe to have much higher rates of deportation but none that approached even half of the failed asylum seekers.
Norway stands out as one of the highest with 25 per cent of illegals being returned to their home country, followed by the United Kingdom at 19.4 per cent and the Netherlands at 18.2 per cent.
The reasons for migrants returning home are numerous but also have to do with local policies such as limiting the ability of failed asylum seekers to find work in the countries as well as limited access to housing.

Germany, which bore the brunt of the migrants in the 2015 migrant crisis, has had immense problems with the deportation of failed asylum seekers to the point where the German Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF) reported last year that the vast majority of failed asylum seekers from Africa would likely be able to remain in the country.
BAMF reported that in the first half of 2018, 27,250 African migrants had been denied residency or asylum but of those only a mere 3,164 were actually deported.
Later that year, German parliament president Wolfgang Schäuble also admitted that it was unlikely failed asylum seekers would ever leave the country saying that they should instead stay and integrate into society.”

72 Philadelphia Police Officers Placed On Desk Duty Over Offensive Social Media Posts
The Philadelphia Police Department has pulled 72 officers off their regular duties as authorities investigate inflammatory social media posts revealed in a database that found thousands of offensive postings by current and former officers, the city’s police commissioner said Wednesday.
Police officials in Philadelphia are describing the action as the largest removal of officers from the street in recent memory.
“We are equally as disgusted by many of the posts that you saw and in many cases, the rest of the nation saw,” said Philadelphia Police Commissioner Richard Ross.
It is the latest fallout since the advocacy group The Plain View Project earlier this month released thousands of Facebook posts and comments by current and former police officers that range from racist memes, to posts celebrating violence and messages containing Islamophobic themes, among other offensive material.

DHS to Move Biometric Data on Hundreds of Millions of People to Amazon Cloud
The department seeks a new platform to identify people using fingerprints, irises and faces, and eventually DNA, palm prints, scars and tattoos
The Homeland Security Department is looking to upgrade the software it uses to analyze biometric data on hundreds of millions of people around the globe, and it plans to store that information in Amazon’s cloud.
The agency’s Office of Biometric Identity Management will replace its legacy biometric analysis platform, called the Automated Biometric Identification System, or IDENT, with a new, more robust system hosted by Amazon Web Services, according to a request for information released Monday.
IDENT essentially serves as an enterprisewide clearinghouse for troves of biometric and biographic data collected by the Transportation Security Administration, Customs and Border Protection, Secret Service and other Homeland Security components. The system links fingerprint, iris and face data to biographic information, allowing officials to quickly identify suspected terrorists, immigration violators, criminals and anyone else included in their databases.
In total, IDENT contains information on more than 250 million people, a Homeland Security spokesperson told Nextgov.
According to the solicitation, Homeland Security is in the process of replacing IDENT with the Homeland Advanced Recognition Technology System, or HART. The new system will include the same biometric recognition features as its predecessor, and potentially additional tools that could identify individuals based on DNA, palm prints, scars, physical markings and tattoos.

On Wednesday, former employee Samantha Davis was charged for allegedly tampering with evidence and abetting computer fraud. On that same day, her former co-worker Jackson Cosko was sentenced to four years in prison.
Davis reportedly gave her colleague and close friend Cosko a key to the senator’s office, where he was able to steal the data. Davis reportedly agreed to loan him the key, and wipe his fingerprints from the office computers.

CBC – Toronto imam charged with sexual assault after allegedly convincing woman she was possessed
Police say the 49-year-old was arrested Tuesday while trying to board a plane to leave Canada
A Toronto imam has been arrested and charged with multiple counts of sexual assault after allegedly trying to board a plane to leave the country amid an investigation into allegations against him.
Police are concerned there may be other victims.
The 49-year-old came to the attention of investigators in early 2019 when a woman came forward alleging the imam had sexually assaulted her, police say.
In a news release Wednesday, police said the woman first met the imam at a mosque over a decade ago in 2008. At the time, they say, the imam went to the woman’s home, convinced her that she was possessed and that he could help her.
Police allege the woman was sexually assaulted at the imam’s home during what he claimed was a religious ceremony.
The alleged assaults continued for a period of several years, they say.
Police also say the imam threatened to harm the woman on numerous occasions, as well as threatening to “expose her to the community and congregation.”
Accused arrested at Pearson airport
On Tuesday, police said the imam tried to leave Canada and was arrested at Pearson International Airport.
They also have a message for other victims that haven’t come forward.
“We want to make sure that everyone has access to support services and an exit strategy, regardless of their decision to proceed criminally,” police said in the release.
The imam now faces a string of charges, including:
Breach of trust.
Three counts of sexual assault.
Threatening death.
Criminal harassment.

A Toronto imam is facing charges in connection with the alleged sexual assault of a woman over the course of more than a decade.
Toronto police said that the woman and the imam met at a mosque in 2008. The imam went to her home, convinced her that she was possessed and offered to help, police said.
According to police, the woman was brought back to the imam’s living quarters and sexually assaulted during what he claimed was a religious ceremony.
The woman was sexually assaulted continually over the next few years and during that time the imam threatened to harm her and to expose her to the community and congregation, police said.
Investigators allege the imam used his position to manipulate and control the woman.
Earlier this year, the woman came forward to report the allegations, police said in a news release Wednesday.
Imam Syed Zaidi, 49, was arrested on June 18 at Pearson international Airport as he tried to board a plane to leave Canada, police said.
Zaidi has been charged with breach of trust, three counts of sexual assault, threatening death and criminal harassment.
Police said they are concerned there may be more victims and are asking anyone with further information or complaints to contact investigators.

Reparations: Democrats ask Americans who never owned a slave to pay Americans who never were a slave
WASHINGTON (AP) — Lawmakers on Wednesday held the first congressional hearing in more than a decade on reparations, spotlighting the debate over whether the United States should consider compensation for the descendants of slaves in the United States.
The witnesses at the House Judiciary subcommittee included actor and activist Danny Glover, writer Ta-Nehisi Coates and Sen. Cory Booker of New Jersey, a Democratic presidential candidate.
Coates, who drew new attention to the issue with his essay “The Case for Reparations,” published in The Atlantic magazine in 2014, told the panel “it’s impossible to imagine America without the inheritance of slavery.”
“The matter of reparations is one of making amends and direct redress but is also a question of citizenship,” Coates said.
But another writer Coleman Hughes, who at times testified over boos from the audience, said black people don’t need “another apology,” but safer neighborhoods, better schools, a less punitive criminal justice system and better health care.
“None of these things can be achieved through reparations for slavery,” said Hughes, who added that he is the descendant of blacks enslaved at Thomas Jefferson’s Monticello.
The hearing comes amid a growing discussion in the Democratic Party about reparations. Several of the party’s presidential candidates have endorsed looking at the idea, though they have stopped short of endorsing direct payouts for African Americans.

Democrats Hold Reparations Hearing — Witness Burgess Owens Calls for Democrat Party of Slavery to Pay Restitution (VIDEO)
The House Judiciary Committee’s Subcommittee on the Constitution, Civil Rights, and Civil Liberties held a hearing on Wednesday to discuss “the Path to Restorative Justice.” Specifically, they were discussing H.R. 40 — a bill that proposes a commission on reparations.
Ta-Nehisi Coates, Danny Glover, Sen. Cory Booker and various other activists spoke at the hearing.
So did race-baiting Bishop Eugene Taylor Sutton from Maryland. Bishop Sutton argued that white people need to pay reparations to black people to save their souls from damnation.
But the Republican panelists stole the show. Former NFL great Burgess Owens called for the Democrat Party to be held accountable for reparations.

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi said Wednesday that she does not trust Attorney General William Barr, adding that she is “afraid.”
The Department of Justice agreed to give more lawmakers access to the former special counsel’s completed report in late May, however, many Democrats have still not read the less-redacted report. Pelosi has had access to the less-redacted report, but has previously refused to read it after Barr offered in April, according to Politico.
“I don’t know if this is news or it was news last week but we will be having access to [a] less-redacted version of the Mueller report. I had said originally unless the whole country can see what they show us. We shouldn’t see it,” Pelosi said at a Christian Science Monitor breakfast.
“But I have. When we had the offer of this less redacted for many more people than just the leadership I accepted that because I’m afraid. I really don’t trust the attorney general of the United States and I’m afraid,” Pelosi continued.

It is astonishing that while the fundamentalist government of Iran continues to enjoy unchallenged power, and engages in whatever violent behavior it wishes, its apologists proclaim that peace and stability can still exist within the Middle East.
An honest analysis of acts of terrorism in the Middle East, and throughout the world, reveals that nearly every conflict, war, and tension in the Middle East, can be traced back to the Iranian government. Despite the illusion that those who would like to appease the Iranian leaders attempt to create, it is clear that the Iran, still racing toward nuclear-breakout capability, has no interest in peace.
In Yemen, Iranian authorities have empowered a militia group known as the Houthis. Tehran is actively supplying the militia with ammunition and continues to smuggle illicit weapons and technology into Yemen. According to a report by Reuters, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) is a key supporter and sponsor of the Houthis. The IRGC is also currently using a new route across the Gulf covertly to deliver arms shipments to the Houthis.
In Iraq, Iran’s Quds Force exerts significant direct or indirect influence through a conglomerate of more than 40 militia groups, which operate under the banner of the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF). The Quds Force has also apparently found new sources of funding to evade current US sanctions.
The Quds Force is in charge of Iran’s extraterritorial operations, which include organizing, supporting, training, arming and financing Iran’s predominantly Shiite militia groups in foreign countries; launching wars directly or indirectly via these proxies; fomenting unrest in other nations to advance Iran’s ideological and hegemonic interests; attacking and invading cities and countries; and assassinating foreign political figures and prominent Iranian dissidents worldwide.
Given their economic problems and their trying to piss off PT I don’t think the Islamic Republic will survive much longer.

Rev. Dr. Mae Cannon — the executive director of Churches for Middle East Peace (CMEP) — is charming and disarming. Her friendly smile, calm demeanor, and quiet passion for her topic is engaging. It comes as no surprise, then, that the Palestinian Authority (PA)/Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) appears to have selected her as the face of their strategic “Christian” anti-Israel lobby — even sharing, on the PLO’s social media, a piece in which Cannon blames Christian Zionists for the rise in antisemitism and hate crimes.
Cannon seeks to disguise her true agenda (pro-PLO/PA and anti-Christian Zionism) beyond strategic coded messaging. Her friends at the PA are fully aware that directly confronting Christian supporters of Israel with their genuine agenda would probably be unfruitful. The PA seems to have become alarmed by the increased influence of Christian Zionism, which consists of genuine Christian theological support for Israel, and of Christian Zionists in particular. The PA has apparently decided to shift strategies. Its latest initiative is apparently to use their “Christian” lobby — and various organizations that lobby creates — to infiltrate Christian pro-Israel communities through a carefully crafted narrative designed to appeal to Christians’ love for all humanity and desire to pray for the Middle East. The PA’s end goal, apart from displacing Israel, is both to dilute Christians’ pro-Israel beliefs and their influence, and to convert Christians outright to the PA’s narrative and cause. The tools of infiltration include speeches, media, and trips.
When Mae Cannon spoke at Christ at the Checkpoint Conference USA in October 2018, she took issue with Dexter Van Zile, a Christian Media Analyst for the Committee for Accuracy in Middle East Reporting (CAMERA), who has written about her work. Van Zile recounted, “A few minutes into her [Cannon’s] talk, she defended CMEP and her leadership of the organization — which has been harshly critical of Israel. ‘And they say my goal is to get you to pray against the Jewish people, which just for the record it’s not,’ she said. ‘Don’t believe what Dexter Van Zile says about me.'” The prayer point may be a sensitive point for Cannon as it is so very close to pulling back the curtain and exposing her pro-PLO/PA and anti Christian Zionism agenda.
