A notorious vote-rigger jailed for forging postal votes played a far greater role in Labour’s narrow by-election victory in Peterborough this month than the party has admitted.
Tariq Mahmood, 51, a numberplate salesman and former taxi company owner who received a 15-month sentence for his part in a “systematic campaign of electoral fraud” in 2008, had denied involvement in the campaign to elect Lisa Forbes 10 days ago.
He said he had met Jeremy Corbyn briefly on the campaign trail but had not known in advance that the Labour leader would visit.
Labour said Mahmood, who also manages property, did “not play any role in its campaign”.

Since Cece Telfer’s victory in an NCAA track and field race last month, many people have questioned the fairness of a trans woman competing against a field of cis gender women.
Telfer agrees it isn’t fair. Although, she claims it’s her that has the disadvantage.
‘If anything, me competing against cis gender females is a disadvantage, because my body is going through so many medical implications,” Telfer told ESPN’s Ryan Smith on “Outside the Lines.” “It’s going through biochemistry changes. … Being on hormone replacement therapy … your muscle is deteriorating, you lose a lot of strength because testosterone is where you get your strength, your agility.
“I have to work twice as hard to keep that strength. If I slack a day, that’s like three days set behind. So, I have to keep up my workouts. … I can’t drink, I can’t eat unhealthy because it’s going to impact me harder.”
(If there was a scrap of truth in any of that, he would have lost, not won. And most of what he says applies to anyone training for an athletic event of that calibre short of darts.)
4. Sweden: Strong Explosion in Vicinity of Church
Södertälje is the latest city in Sweden to see yet another explosion, with police describing the blast as being strong enough to be heard 100 yards away.
Police say that they are still uncertain as to the nature of the explosion, which occurred at around 3am on Friday in Geneta, a neighbourhood in the Västertälje district of the Södertälje municipality. Peter Asp, the officer in charge of Stockholm Police’s management centre, told Swedish broadcaster SVT: “We are trying to sort out what has happened, but before the technicians have investigated, we do not know exactly what has happened.”
“It was so strong that people some 100 metres from there have reported it,” he added, with the broadcaster noting the blast happened in the vicinity of St. Afrem’s church.
So far, the Swedish national bomb protection agency has been called in to investigate and the area around the explosion has been cordoned off. Officer Asp noted that no one had been injured in the blast and that the damage from it had been limited.
The explosion comes only days after the multicultural southern city of Malmö was rocked by three different explosions within the span of 24-hours with two residences in the notorious no-go suburb of Rosengård being targetted along with a nightclub closer to the centre of the city.
(Personally I would not trust the Swedish Police to report anything that conflicts with the government’s politics at this point, exactly like Canada is headed for, rapidly. Remember the exploding house near Ottawa in 2014? Three buildings were flattened and zero, ZERO info on who and how and why from the police and officials since a day or two after the explosions, except to say it was not a drug lab or grow op. And that one could be heard FIFTEEEN MILES away! But the admission of what it wasn’t is a sort of admission of truth all on its own these days one can suppose.)

8- This isn’t the end of Belgium but it does show that the people there need to orginize and protect themselves from their Government and the invaders. The Founding Fathers of the US and the citizens knew that any government could (and given time will) turn oppressive. When there was no recognition of the right to self defens and to own the tools to be used for self defense written into the Constitution the People insisted that one be added or the Constitution would not be accepted.
So far the majority of the states have managed to hold onto the right of self defense and the right to own and carry tools for self defense. The Europeans have willingly given up that right and are now paying the price for their actions. The rights protected by the Bill of Rights, (note the protected by not given by) are natural rights that existed before we had governments and that will exist after all of the present governments fall. Because the Europeans gave up their right of self defense (thinking that their government would always protect them) they are being placed in the position of either acquire weapons illegally and fight against their government and the invaders or try and find some place they can run to that will let them protect themselves.
The only advise I can give is Keep your Musket Clean, Your Powder Dry and watch your back.
