About the 4 top Italian intel officials asked to resign (adding to two previous vacancies), none of them were arrested. Brad Johnson suggested that they were during one interview, but Giulio Occhionero has confirmed to me that Johnson was mistaken on that point.
Is there possibly confusion with the four officials, including two from the cyber division of the State Police, and a Rome magistrate, who have been indicted for abuses in Perugia (related to Occhionero’s case)? But these are not the same people.
The fault is mine. I had read that they were arrested somewhere, or thought I had, but in fact they had been fired. Although I would consider that a detail in terms of the main aspect of this event, but the fault was mine. brad may have not wanted to contradict me.
