Daily Links Post graphic

Each day at just after midnight Eastern, a post like this one is created for contributors and readers of this site to upload news links and video links on the issues that concern this site. Most notably, Islam and its effects on Classical Civilization, and various forms of leftism from Soviet era communism, to postmodernism and all the flavours of galloping statism and totalitarianism such as Nazism and Fascism which are increasingly snuffing out the classical liberalism which created our near, miraculous civilization the West has been building since the time of Socrates.

This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

This is the new Samizdat. We must use it while we can.

On Monday anti-Semitic Democrat Ilhan Omar retweeted Trump-hater Reza Aslan’s attack on President Trump and Hungarian leader Viktor Orban.

The left’s latest attack on Orban is that he is undemocratic and an anti-Semite because he strongly opposes George Soros meddling in his country’s politics.

In July 2017 Viktor Orban took aim at the EU and the “Soros mafia network” for seeking to Muslimize Europe.

In October 2017 Viktor Orban accused Soros and his allies of using mass immigration to destroy Europ’s cultural and ethnic identity and Christian roots.

Because of his staunch opposition to George Soros and his devastating policies the left and liberal media has accused him of being anti-Semitic.

On Monday Trump-hater and former CNN host Reza Aslan accused President Trump of hosting a “tyrannical fascist and avowed anti-Semite” into the White House.
Aslan was speaking of Viktor Orban. Hungary has one of the fastest growing economies in Europe. His “tyranny” is making the people wealthy.,%202019%20at%2011:06:06%20AM

  2. REMINDER: EVERY BOGUS 2016 FISA REQUEST to Spy on Trump was Signed by Obama’s AG Loretta Lynch
Jim Hoft by Jim Hoft May 14, 2019 225 Comments

Last night on the Laura Ingraham Angle on FOX News, former Deputy Assistant Attorney General, John Yoo, noted that Obama’s Attorney General Loretta Lynch signed off on most all the FISA warrants during Obama’s last couple years in office (emphasis added) –

As somebody who’s worked on FISA applications, I can tell you how high it could go because under the FISA law itself the Attorney General has to approve the FISA application. So if the Steele dossier, which we now know was completely made up, was used as a basis for the FISA application, then you have somebody that was high up in the FBI that had to approve that. Somebody high up in the Justice Department had to approve that. Ultimately the Attorney General [Loretta Lynch] has to approve that.

And then a second thing we haven’t touched on yet is that appears that the FBI attempted to send undercover informants and agents to infiltrate the Trump campaign. There’s a whole other set of laws that are called the Attorney General guidelines which are supposed to only allow that in very, very rare circumstances. So I assume the Attorney General and Deputy Attorney General and maybe FBI Director Comey all had to sit in on that decision and approve it…,%202019%20at%2011:06:06%20AM

  3. Disgraced and Corrupt Former FBI Director Comey Recorded His Meetings with President Trump – Was He Wired Up?

US Representative and former US Attorney John Ratcliffe from Texas may have hinted at a bombshell over the weekend which was repeated again last night on Hannity related to fired FBI Director James Comey.

Last night on FOX News Hannity, Representative Ratcliffe shared an observation that went unreported. When talking about former and fired corrupt cop James Comey from the FBI, Ratcliffe said the following (emphasis added) –

Jim’s proud of himself but the [DOJ] Inspector General found him insubordinate and many of us either believe that he is or should be under investigation for violating the Espionage Act – for recording his conversations with President Trump in the Oval Office and then intentionally leaking classified information to start this investigation.,%202019%20at%2011:06:06%20AM

  4. UK: Court allows re-trial in Tommy Robinson contempt case

Judges ruled that new proceedings can be brought against far-right activist Tommy Robinson who was filmed arriving at the Old Bailey in London on Tuesday. He was met outside by rival crowds of supporters and opponents.

The court gave the permission to go ahead with a re-trial after an application from the UK attorney-general. Robinson, who has had a series of convictions, is facing a contempt of court charge for filming and broadcasting people involved in a criminal case on social media.

He was already convicted and jailed in this case in May 2017 for 10 months and to three more months for breaching a previous suspended sentence. It was cancelled by the court of appeal last August and Robinson was released on bail. The new proceedings may send him back to prison if he is found guilty.

  5. Al-Aqsa Mosque Address by Cleric Nidhal Siam: Muslims Are “Time-Bombs” Waiting for the Call to Jihad

In a video of an address before a crowd at the Al-Aqsa Mosque that was uploaded to the Internet on May 10, 2019, Palestinian cleric Nidhal Siam “Abu Ibrahim” said that this Ramadhan, the Russian, American, and British “devils” will be shackled.

He said that the “devils” know that every Muslim “constitutes a time bomb that will explode as soon as the Caliph of the Muslims gives the order [to] come to Jihad.

Abu Ibrahim said that these countries have mobilized their armies throughout the Arab world in order to prevent the establishment of an Islamic State, and that it this was not done in order to fight Iran, which he said is a “seal ring on America’s pinky toe” that is “drowning in collaboration.”

He added that the Emir of the Believers will soon emerge and declare the liberation of Al-Aqsa.

          • I hadn’t seen that article.
It’s too bad Moshe Dayan just threw it away. Hashem’s plan, whatever.
(Though I never go up there, I’m too old-fashioned. The Wall is as close as I need to be.)

        • I always wondered why those mosques had not been razed in June 67

I understand your sentiments and if it takes a hundred years (i.e., 2067) to see them razed, that wouldn’t be 48 years too soon.

In all sincerity, really amazing Islamic architectural masterpieces like the Alhambra should be preserved as artistic monuments. Clearly, Muslims didn’t even have that shred of decency about Notre Dame and this is exactly why I’ll be handing out chilled beers to strangers on the street when the world’s mosques are razed.

Like Bernie Maddox said about his victims, “Fuck ’em.” I’m sure Islam feels the same way about me so a little reciprocity is in order.*

          * And when I say, “reciprocity”, I mean, “massively disproportionate retaliation.” Carry on.

      • A couple years ago I gave up watching these devils on the Temple Mt.
Unless one drops DEAD, on the spot. That’d be fun to watch.

I’ve heard tell that Mr. Kar-98 and Mr. Wild Heerbrugg perform such ventilation services rather well when supervised by appropriately trained IDF personnel.

  6. Murder Rates Drop in Bolsonaro’s Brazil: More Guns, Less Crime

Rio De Janeiro, Brazil -( During the first two months of President Bolsonaro’s term, the Brazilian murder rate fell by 25%. From

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – The murder rates in Brazil for January and February this year were 25 percent lower compared to the same period last year, according to G1’s national homicide index. The index is based on official data from the 26 states and the Federal District.

Jair Bolsonaro was elected President of Brazil on 28 October 2018. President Bolsonaro has been adamant about reforming Brazil’s extreme gun laws, to allow more Brazilians to defend themselves.

Did President Bolsonaro’s reform policies in favor of self-defense cause the drop in murder rates? The answer is complicated. Bolsonaro’s policies probably had a positive effect.

    • Scientific community

With an appropriately sneering tone, Cullen refers to this momentous, yet ever-elusive “Scientific community”? Communities, by definition, are fairly well defined aggregations, be they boobies or polyps (that’s gannets and coral for the un-naturalists in the house).

From how often headline, primetime news features this eminent and globally respected (if not outright revered), authoritative body, just their mail room’s daily traffic must make some random forest weep. Having performed fundamental research into vacuum metallurgy, I full well know how all of those things can pile up—what with periodicals, journals, new publications, collegiate papers, speaking invitations, and plenary session guides to Hawaiian Eco-Summits.

Thus, the eternal question remains … To what town or street number should all this mail be sent? If this is, indeed, a “Scientific community”, then they must dwell somewhere. Letter carriers have to stop at one or another address to leave off all that mail. Or does this “Scientific community” have some sort of letter drop or post office box as capacious as an elephant’s scrotum?

My reason for putting such a hard (if wrinkled) point on things is that “Scientific communities”—like other alarmingly similar “collectives”—too often have this nebulous air about them that just as quickly becomes malarial, if not downright malodorous. Of late, “the powerful and obnoxious odor of mendacity” has become flat-out putrid.

As in: If this vaguely located “Scientific community” was meant to have a shred of credibility, they’d have a nice big building, with a shiny, brass number plate, on some paved road with utilities access.

More over, the lot of these miserable whoring bastards would be obliged to document the REPEATABLE AND REPRODUCIBLE SCIENTIFIC METHODOLOGY USED IN THEIR EXPERIMENTS.

Then there’s this nigglesome little procedure known as Peer Review. It’s yet another irritatingly meticulous high-hurdle these antiquated chrome domes thrust in front of Progressives who—in the absence of such irksome meddling with their illustrious Postmodern agenda—would long ago have executed their way to utopia.

Anyone who has not already done so, please, oh please, read the few pages of author Michael Crichton’s brilliant Caltech Michelin Lecture (i.e., JPL et al) lecture, “Aliens Cause Global Warming“.

The “Scientific community” that Apple and MSM nozzles gushy about so endlessly is CONSENSUS SCIENCE and it has killed millions of people, ESPECIALLY WOMEN, in its willful flouting of scientific methods ESTABLISHED BY THE ANCIENT GREEKS.

      From Crichton’s 2005 lecture:

… I want to discuss the history of several widely-publicized beliefs and point to what I consider an emerging crisis in the whole enterprise of science–namely the increasingly uneasy relationship between hard science and public policy.

HALF A DECADE AGO this prescient scrivener saw the wall’s writing through a glass, darkly. Since science is almost entirely based upon natural phenomenon, watching so many PoMo Progs gaily (in every sense) abandon logic, intellection and, in a more general sense, reality, would be hilarious were it not for the fact that mankind’s eternal struggle to achieve Power Over Nature always boils down in same old cannibal cauldron of (attainable) Power Over Man.

Most recently, in these politically fraught times, that power grows out of the barrel of a gun.

PS: Please note the curious similarity with how Islam’s famous “Arab Street” has the same exact address as that roadside dive, the “Scientific community”; namely fuckall.. Whatever incestuous buggery (i.e., mind-fucks) that happen in their squalid little psychic shithouse must be epic, if only for the noisiness of their throes.

  7. About the yellow vests and french cops:

  9. US Attorney John Durham Began Investigating Spygate Scandal “Weeks Ago” – Working Directly with IG Horowitz on FISA Abuses

The media was stunned Monday after it was revealed AG Bill Barr appointed top special prosecutor John Durham to investigate the origins of the Russia probe.

John Durham, a US Attorney in Connecticut was nominated by Trump in 2017 and has a history of investigating wrongdoing among national security officials.

It turns out that Bill Barr assigned John Durham to investigate the Spygate scandal weeks ago.

Fox News Producer Jake Gibson reported Tuesday that John Durham has been working on the investigation into the origins of the FBI’s CI probe into ‘Trump-Russia’ for “weeks.”,%202019%20at%2003:06:06%20PM

  10. Richard: This is a result of John Kerry back channeling to Iran (and visiting Iran) telling the Iranian government to ignore President Trump because he won’t be in office much longer. I think Kerry could be4 successfully prosecuted for giving aid and comfort to the enemy in time of conflict. The Constitution says that Treason charges can be brought during a war and at no other time. Congress hasn’t declared war so treason charges are not possible. Giving aid and comfort on the other hand carries the same penality and has fewer legal requirements. With his actions bringing us to the brink of war with Iran somethi8ng has to be4 done.

  11. Jakarta on terror alert ahead of election results (straitstimes, May 14, 2019)

“Indonesia is deploying more than 32,000 troops to secure the capital Jakarta, following intelligence of possible terrorist attacks during the impending release of the presidential election results next week.

Security agencies are scrambling to foil what they suspect is a plot by a local militant group to set off bombs during street protests that are expected after the official vote count is announced by the elections commission (KPU).

“There are indications of terrorists possibly mounting attacks when there is a mass gathering at the KPU building,” said national police spokesman Dedi Prasetyo on Monday. “So we are taking precautionary measures to optimally thwart such acts.”

Brigadier-General Dedi said police and military personnel will also set up cordons around the Bawaslu elections supervisory body headquarters in downtown Jakarta…”

  12. As Expected, The Left Is Probably Going To Freak Out Over Trump’s Move To Gut Nationwide Injunctions

he Trump administration is looking to outflank the activist Left on by curtailing the power of injunctions from lower district court judges. In most cases, Obama appointees have hamstrung constitutional and proper actions issued by this White House. Two of the most significant have been the executive order on immigration, which the Left erroneously calls the “Muslim ban,” and the rollbacks to the Deferred Action on Childhood Arrivals—the latter of which was already constitutionally questionable under Obama. The executive gave an order and they can rescind it. The courts have tried to block it. And the Trump White House has had enough.

  13. Faqasi: Qatar Funneled Bin Laden’s Money (aawsat, May 14, 2019)

“Ali al-Faqasi, a controversial inmate serving a three-decade sentence in Saudi jails, had played a role in organizing the Riyadh compound bombing in May 2003. The ex-Qaeda member surrendered shortly after being named as one of the Kingdom’s most wanted terrorists.

Rumored to have been an associate of senior al-Qaeda leaders Saif al-Adel, Abu Mohammed al-Masri and Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, Faqasi was reported to have been al-Qaeda’s second in command in Saudi Arabia, prior to his June 26, 2003 surrender.

Faqasi, in an exclusive interview on furlough with Rotana Khalijia Liwan program’s TV host, revealed how he served al-Qaeda at the peak of the terror group’s crimes.

Recalling how the September 11 attacks changed the nature of the terrorist group’s formation, Faqasi said: “We fled Afghanistan a few months ahead of the September 11 attacks – but the terror work remained open. Whoever can operate from anywhere, from Afghanistan to Syria, was asked to do so.”

“I returned to Saudi Arabia under the instructions of Khalid Sheikh Mohammed who tasked me with forming a terror cell.”

As for al-Qaeda’s affiliation with Iran, Faqasi said that the group’s notorious Saif al-Adel leader operates from within the cleric-led country.

Faqasi went over the roles many countries played in allowing al-Qaeda personnel to achieve their goals.

Iran directly facilitated his transit to Pakistan, whilst Qatar acted as a secure funding channel for the group, he said. More so, the admitted ex-Qaeda member revealed that Qatar’s official propaganda outlet, Al Jazeera, often backed what the terror group was trying to achieve on a regional level.

“Osama Bin Laden’s goal was in line (with Al Jazeera), whereby both sought to destabilize the security of Arab countries, namely Saudi Arabia.”

Expressing his deepest regrets, Faqasi blames the group’s pundits selling him anti-state edicts.

Changed, Faqasi said: “I’m thankful for the revolution being led by our Crown Prince–we are living a real awakening. I am reassured that my son is protected and entrusted to the homeland.””

  15. Turkey calls for action after arson at US mosque (hurriyetdailynews, May 14, 2019)

“Turkey’s foreign minister called for a united stance against Islamophobia late on May 13 after a mosque in the U.S. state of Connecticut was attacked over the weekend.

“Arson in Diyanet Mosque in #NewHaven during Ramadan is another example of increasing #Islamophobia in the world,” Mevlüt Çavu?o?lu wrote on Twitter.

The minister also called for a united stance against Islamophobia and racism.

“Perpetrators of this heinous attack should be identified &sentenced swiftly. Should

fight altogether against Islamophobia &racism,” he said, adding the only consolidation was there was no loss of life.

A fire broke out on the first floor of the mosque on May 12 afternoon and spread to the second level. A worshipper who was in the building called firefighters and was able to safely evacuate.

The mosque, which was still under construction, was significantly damaged, an official Turkish body said on May 13.

“There was no loss of life or injury in the fire, but it is determined that the mosque has suffered large-scale damage. Tons of water used to put out the fire [also] caused damage to the building’s unburnt part,” it said.

The incident saddened the Turkish community in the United States, primarily in New Haven, the statement added.

A reward of up to $2,500 has been offered for any information that leads to the arrest or conviction of the perpetrators, according to officials.

In a statement, the Religious Services Attache of the Turkish Consulate General in New York said an investigation is underway into the fire at Diyanet Mosque in the city of New Haven and efforts are continuing to catch the perpetrators.

A criminal investigation is underway, and officials believe the fire was intentionally set. Besides local police, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) are also involved.”

  16. Germany pledges action against illegal PKK (hurriyetdailynews, May 14, 2019)

“Germany on May 14 pledged to take stronger action against the activities of the illegal PKK organization as its supporters ramp up violence in the country.

The PKK is listed as a terrorist organization by Turkey, the U.S. and the European Union.

Speaking at a news conference in Berlin, Interior Minister Horst Seehofer said criminal offenses by foreign extremist and terrorist groups in Germany have increased more than 50 percent last year, largely due to the PKK.

“State authorities will continue to do everything to ensure that foreign terrorist and extremist organizations don’t use Germany as a sphere of action. This also and specifically applies to the PKK,” he stressed.

PKK followers committed 1,873 criminal offenses in Germany last year, according to annual statistics announced by the Interior Minister, an increase of more than 80 percent over the previous year, while violent offenses rose from 152 to 305.

Despite being banned in Germany since 1993, the PKK remains active with nearly 14,000 followers among the Kurdish immigrant population in the country.

Supporters of the PKK and its Syrian offshoot the YPG claimed responsibility last year for dozens of attacks against mosques, associations and other Turkish institutions in Germany to protest Turkey’s counterterrorism operations in northwestern Syria, Anadolu Agency reported.

Ankara has long criticized Berlin for not taking serious measures against the PKK and its affiliates in Germany, which use the country as a platform for fund-raising, recruitment, and propaganda.

Interior Minister Seehofer, an influential conservative politician, had promised a hard stance against foreign extremist and terrorist groups after assuming his new post in 2018.

In February, two major propaganda outlets of the PKK in Germany were banned and dissolved, following legal action by the Interior Ministry.”

Some 879 were dismissed from the Army, while 242 were suspended from the Navy and 432 from the Air Force, security sources said, speaking on condition of anonymity due to restrictions on talking to the media.

Additionally, some 151 retired soldiers’ ranks were revoked over FETO links.

  18. Refugees can’t be repatriated – EU court (ansa, May 14, 2019)

“The European Court of Justice said Tuesday that it has ruled that EU member States cannot repatriate people who have a well-founded fear of torture or other forms of inhumane treatment in their country of origin even if they have not been formally granted refugee status or their refugee status has been revoked.

The court said that stance applied to the cases of an Ivorian national, a Congolese national and an individual of Chechen origin in Belgium and the Czech Republic.

It said this position held true even if in the case of persons representing a danger either to the security of the host Member State or, having been convicted of a particularly serious crime, to the community of that State.”

  19. Migrants: ‘Lifeline’ NGO ship captain convicted in Malta (ansamed, May 14, 2019)

“The capital of a migrant rescue ship operated by German NGO “Mission Lifenie” has been sentenced to pay a fine of 10,000 euros by a court in Malta. A court in La Valletta, the Dresda-based NGO was quoted as saying by German media, convicted Claud-Peter Reisch for registration irregularities. The ship Lifeline rescued over 230 migrants off Libya’s coast but the Maltese court said the vessel violated registration rules.

Lifenine’s spokesman Axel Steier announced an appeal, saying the captain is innocent: “The ruling is scandalous. It is clearly a political sentence”. At the time of the rescue operation, the vessel was registered under the Dutch flag.

‘Never contemplated jail in Lifeline case’, Malta judge

LA VALLETTA – The captain of Lifeline, Claus-Peter Reisch, was ordered to pay a fine of 10,000 euros by a court in Malta although the charges pressed against him could have cost him up to 12 months in prison. Nevertheless, judge Joseph Mifsud was reported as saying that detention ”was never contemplated” because, according to the Times of Malta, the court ”immediately understood the case’s circumstances”. Moreover, the magistrate stressed that the German citizen did not have a criminal record and always scrupulously respected judicial procedures. The court also rejected the Maltese authorities’ request to seize the ship and ruled against the charge that the ship was used for commercial purposes without the appropriate license. The ‘Lifeline’ was at the center of a harsh dispute between Italy and Malta and the Maltese government allowed it to dock only after an agreement was reached for the redistribution of the over 200 migrants rescued by Reisch. At the time, he stated: ”Bringing migrants back to Libya was never an option”. The captain was charged after the arrival in Malta over irregularities in the ship’s registration under the Dutch flag. The ship was seized despite several requests issued by the NGO Mission Lifeline to release it. The court today concluded that the registration ”was not satisfying for Dutch authorities” when the ship entered Maltese waters, hence the fine.”

  20. Police step up security after attack on Jewish woman in southern Sweden (thelocal, May 14, 2019)

“A Jewish woman is fighting for her life after she was stabbed on the street in the centre of the Swedish city of Helsingborg early on Tuesday morning.

The woman, who is around 60 years old and reportedly an active member of the city’s Jewish congregation, was on Tuesday afternoon in hospital being treated for life-threatening injuries.

Police stationed officers outside von Platenska Huset, the historic villa which serves as the city’s synagogue, after the stabbing.

“We don’t know if it’s a coincidence or if the attack has something to do with her being active in the congregation,” one of the congregation’s members told Swedish state television broadcaster SVT.

“We are deeply shocked. It’s a really wonderful and helpful person who has been subjected to this tragic event.”

Filip Annas from the local Helsingborg police said that they received the first reports of the stabbing at 7.30am. He could not immediately confirm whether the woman knew the attacker, who fled the scene before police arrived, or not.

Regional newspaper Helsingborgs Dagblad reported that witnesses heard a woman scream “help me, help me” in English.

Police are currently looking to interview any witnesses.

A police source told the Sydsvenskan newspaper that officers were as yet unsure if the attack was anti-Semitic. “That is something we are analyzing right now,” the source said.”

  21. CBC – [ Muslim ] father, son charged after explosive materials found inside home in Richmond Hill, Ont.

Federal government says there’s no known connection to national security

Police north of Toronto have charged a father and son after officers found explosive materials and a detonator device at a home in Richmond Hill, Ont.

Reza Mohammadiasl, 47, and his son Mahyar, 18, were arrested on Monday and charged with one count each of possession of an explosive device following a search of their home, located about 40 km north of Toronto.

Both men were scheduled to appear in Newmarket court today.

Public Safety Minister Ralph Goodale said the arrests and charges are a local matter that concerns York police and there is no known connection to national security.

“There is no known connection to any issue related to national security,” he said in Ottawa. “It is a local policing matter. Obviously they’ve made arrests, they’ve laid charges, and it’s up to them to comment further.”

    Border agents tipped off police

York Regional Police said the investigation began last Thursday when they received information about a person being investigated by the United States Customs and Border Protection and the Canada Border Services Agency.

On Friday, police executed a search warrant at a home on Larratt Lane, near Bathurst Street and Elgin Mills Road West, and discovered explosive materials. Police did not specify what exactly the materials were or how much was removed. They said chemicals were also seized.

Ontario Provincial Police, along with the York police’s explosives detection unit, helped to removed the materials.

As a precaution, police practically shut down the street on Friday, forcing neighbours from their homes and restricting vehicle and pedestrian traffic as officers carried out their work. Neighbours have since been allowed back into their homes, police said.

Despite, evacuation orders being lifted and the suburban street returning to normal, residents say they have been left feeling uneasy.

Jill Garazi, who has lived on Larratt Lane for 16 years, said the experience was “very stressful and traumatic.”

“You don’t know what’s going on, you don’t know if your house is going to blow up, you don’t know anything,” Garazi said.

Area resident Rajneesh Bir said crime was so uncommon in the neighbourhood that even minor robberies were rare.

“Suddenly we hear about explosives and wow. It’s very scary,” Bir said.

‘It’s a very serious case for sure’

Const. Andy Pattenden, spokesperson for the York Regional Police, said officers are investigating how the materials got into the home, why they were there and what the accused planned to do with them.

“We don’t often see things like this. It’s a very serious case for sure. The charge, possession of explosives, is a very serious charge,” Pattenden said.

“Thankfully, nobody was injured in this particular case. But there’s lots more to this investigation. That’s why we really need some tips and help from the public as to how these materials got there, why they were there and what these two people were up to.”

Police had a presence at the home on Saturday, Sunday and Monday, Pattenden said.

In a news release on Tuesday, police said dangerous chemicals being stored in a home can pose serious risks, including fires and explosions.

They urged members of public to call police if they see any suspicious activity, notice chemical odours, or unusual storage or stockpiling of chemicals and to take precaution

Hazardous materials should never be eaten, inhaled or consumed, and even slightly inhaling a chemical can cause serious injury, they said. If a material is considered hazardous, police urge the public to leave the area and call 911.

“If you witness anyone dumping material that appears to be hazardous waste, get the best description as possible and call police immediately. Never approach the suspects,” police said.

  22. BREITBART – Video: Muslim Intent on Killing Asia Bibi Claims He Is in Canada to ‘Send Her to Hell’

A Muslim filmed a message making the rounds on the Internet this week saying he is in Canada to slay Pakistani Christian Asia Bibi, who was recently released from prison in Pakistan after spending nearly a decade on death row over false blasphemy allegations.

“This message is for all the enemies of Islam and to the Jew government who helped her get out of Pakistan,” the unidentified man declared, according to a translation provided by the British Pakistani Christian Association (BPCA).

“To give Asia Bibi a terrible death and to send her to hell I also reached Canada last night,” he said, adding, “I am ready to die for the respect of Prophet Mohammed, and I will show that.”

The man also sings an Islamic chant honoring Muhammad and pledging to kill Bibi.

He sings, “The enthusiasm to die for the Prophet Mohammad will stay alive forever.”

  23. SNC Lavalin – MONTREAL – Former MUHC exec who took bribes approved for parole

Because his crimes were committed before 2011, Elbaz was eligible for parole faster than most offenders.

Yanaï Elbaz, the former MUHC executive who admitted in November that he accepted a $10-million bribe to award the superhospital contract to a consortium led by SNC-Lavalin, is expected to be released to a halfway house in the coming weeks.

Elbaz, 50, was sentenced in December to a prison term that left him with just under 38 months left to serve. He was a key player in the rigged bid that saw the McGill University Health Centre award the contract, worth a total of $4.6 billion to build and maintain the hospital over a 20-year period, in 2010. Beginning in 2008, Elbaz was part of the conspiracy to rig the bid along with, allegedly, Arthur Porter, who was then the head of the MUHC. Porter died while detained in Panama at the end of June 2015 and was never tried on the charges he faced in the same case.

According to evidence presented in court, Elbaz and Porter arranged for a total of $30 million in bribes from SNC-Lavalin, but only $22.4 million was paid out before executives at the engineering firm raised questions about questionable methods SNC-Lavalin used to pay out a series of what appeared to be contracts but were, in reality, a way for the firm to pay bribes.

In November, Elbaz pleaded guilty to receiving a bribe, breach of trust, conspiring to launder money with Porter and transporting or transferring the proceeds of a crime. The time frame of the crimes began before 2011 and therefore Elbaz was eligible for an accelerated parole review. It meant he was eligible for day parole after having served one-sixth of his sentence as opposed to the standard one-third. Such reviews were created in 1992 as a means to reduce the number of non-violent offenders serving time in federal penitentiaries. Accelerated reviews were repealed by the Conservative government in 2011, but in 2014, an appellate court ruled an offender should serve their sentence based on the legislation that was in place at the time they committed their crimes.

According to a written summary of the decision made by Parole Board of Canada member Micheline Beaubien on Friday, Elbaz has been accepted as a candidate at two different halfway houses. Because the decision was made under the accelerated review process, Elbaz will automatically be granted full parole after his period of day parole expires in six months.

The summary notes that Elbaz, who did not have a previous criminal record, worked while he was behind bars and was not a problem for Correctional Service Canada.

“Information in your file indicates that you accept your sentence, recognize your responsibility (in the crimes he pleaded guilty to),” the author of the summary wrote.

Elbaz also informed the parole board that he plans to “return to the workforce” when he gets out.

Lawyers involved in the case when Elbaz pleaded guilty in November revealed to the court that $6 million of the $10 million Elbaz received was recovered in Switzerland and that the Crown was trying to recover more.

Earlier this year, Pierre Duhaime, SNC-Lavalin’s CEO when key decisions were made in the awarding of the contract, pleaded guilty to helping Elbaz commit a breach of trust in November 2009. When Duhaime entered his plea, the prosecution withdrew 15 other charges that were filed against him. Duhaime received a 20-month sentence that he is allowed to serve in the community, including a six-month period of house arrest that will expire on Aug. 1.

On July 10, Riadh Ben Aïssa, the former SNC-Lavalin executive who arranged for the bribe, pleaded guilty to one of 16 charges he faced in the investigation, dubbed Project Laureat.

Ben Aïssa admitted he created a false contract that was key to transferring the bribe money to Porter and was sentenced to the equivalent of a 51-month prison term.

  24. ‘Creeping Sharia’ Blog BANNED from WordPress

The blog’s content apparently violated WordPress’ Terms of Service.

A blog that chronicled the rise of Sharia in the West and the persecution of Christians worldwide was told abruptly by WordPress Monday that its content was no longer welcome on the platform.

In an automated message, Creeping Sharia was informed that it had violated WordPress’ terms of service, and that it was no longer welcome to use the platform. The message said:

Upon review of your site we have determined that your content does not align with our Terms of Service or User Guidelines. As stated in our Terms, we may choose to stop providing service to an account at any time, for any reason, or none at all. As such, your site has been suspended and will not be returned.

Creeping Sharia’s apparent crime was reporting stories like Islamist terror attacks that killed Christians in Nigeria, or that Mohammad was the number one name for baby boys in Berlin, Germany in 2018.

The site describes itself on Twitter as “Documenting news on the threat of Islamic sharia law and jihad to freedoms in the U.S., and beyond.”

The topic of censorship by Big Tech is at the forefront of political discourse.

The purge of Creeping Sharia is the latest in a wave of de-platforming by large technology platforms.

Two weeks ago, high-profile conservatives Laura Loomer, Milo Yiannopoulos, Alex Jones, and Paul Joseph Watson were all banned from Facebook and Instagram, which is owned by Facebook. Loomer, Yiannopoulos, and Jones have all been banned from Twitter.

  25. Terror plot in Australia by an ugly bastard called Ali Ali, whose brother was the Bourke Street, Melbourne, terrorist:

The brother of the killer who stabbed cafe owner Sisto Malaspina on Melbourne’s Bourke Street has admitted to trying to buy a gun to prepare for a terrorist attack.
    Key points:

Ali Khalif Shire Ali was due to face a jury trial before his guilty plea and will return to court in August
The court heard the attack was designed to “advance the cause of Islam through violence”
He is the brother of Hassan Khalif Shire Ali, who was shot dead in last year’s Bourke St attack

Ali Khalif Shire Ali, 22, today appeared in the Supreme Court to plead guilty to making inquiries about gaining access to a firearm and ammunition in preparation for or planning a terrorist attack.

The court heard the attack was planned to take place in Federation Square in late 2017 to “advance the cause of Islam through violence”.

Ali was arrested at his home in Werribee during a series of raids by ASIO and other agencies in November 2017.

His case was due to go to trial in front of a jury until he pleaded guilty on Wednesday.

A plea hearing will be held in August.

Suppression orders have previously prevented reporting that Ali was the brother of Hassan Khalif Shire Ali, who was shot dead by police when he drove his car into Bourke St and set fire to gas cylinders before attacking Mr Malaspina.

Hassan Khalif Shire Ali killed 74-year-old Mr Malaspina, who was well known in Melbourne as a co-owner of the iconic Pellegrini’s Espresso Bar, and injured others in the Bourke St attack in November last year.
But police stressed at the time that the man, who was described as being a “high person of interest”, never actually managed to obtain a gun.

Victoria Police Deputy Commissioner Shane Patton said at the time of the arrest, the result of the plot could have been catastrophic.

“This is a person who’s expressed an intention to try and kill as many people as he could through shooting them in the Federation Square area on New Year’s Eve. Horrendous,” he said.

“If this attack were to have gone ahead, it would have been absolutely catastrophic, but the point is it was stopped.”

Police also said at the time that Ali Khalif Shire Ali had accessed documents produced by Al Qaeda, including a “guidebook” on how to commit a terrorist act and how to use firearms.
