Most notably, Islam and its effects on Classical Civilization, and various forms of leftism from Soviet era communism, to postmodernism and all the flavours of galloping statism and totalitarianism such as Nazism and Fascism which are increasingly snuffing out the classical liberalism which created our near, miraculous civilization the West has been building since the time of Socrates.

This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

    LAKE CITY (AP) — A Florida man who was jailed after refusing to remove what authorities called an obscene sticker from his vehicle’s window said Tuesday that he is fighting the charges and will defend his constitutional right to free speech.

    Dillon Shane Webb, 23, was arrested Sunday and charged with misdemeanor counts of violating Florida’s obscenity law and resisting an officer without violence, a Columbia County Sheriff’s Office report said.

    Webb told The Associated Press in a telephone interview that he plans to file a wrongful arrest lawsuit against the sheriff’s office.

    “I’m tired of police forces thinking they are above the Constitution, the Bill of Rights,” Webb said.

    A deputy stopped Webb in Lake City because of a vehicle sticker crudely describing a sexual appetite, the sheriff’s report said. When told about the reason for the stop, Webb reportedly said, “They’re just words.”

    Wedd said the deputy seemed angry from the start of the traffic stop.

    “Like the whole time, he was just really rude,” Webb told the AP. “It just felt to me like his goal was to get me in jail.”

    Democrats are quick to politicize mass shootings, and school shootings, against conservative who support the right to bear arms.

    But when the school shooter is a far left terrorist and it does not fit their agenda they tend to ignore the politics of the shooter.

    On Tuesday there was a school shooting that left one dead and many injured at STEM School Highlands Ranch, Colorado.

    And in that shooting the two perpetrators did not fit the mold that the media likes to portray of the gun toting conservative.

    One of the shooters was Devon Erickson, 18, who said he hated President Donald Trump and Christians and loved former President Obama.

    “In 2016, he shared a video of Seth Meyers criticizing President Donald Trump, and the year before he shared an Occupy Democrats post praising then President Barack Obama,” The Heavy reported.

  4. President Donald Trump issued a full pardon Monday to former Army First Lieutenant Michael Behenna, who served five years in prison after being convicted of murdering a suspected Al-Qaeda terrorist.

    In May 2008, Behenna was questioning Ali Mansur Mohamed, a suspected terrorist who had allegedly been involved in an IED attack that killed two U.S. soldiers. The interrogation ended when Behenna fired two rounds into the terrorist — which the 1st Lt. claimed was in self-defense after Mansur lunged for his pistol.

    A military court convicted Behenna of unpremeditated murder in a combat zone in 2009. The prosecution said Behenna was not acting in self-defense, but in retaliation for the deaths of his fellow soldiers, and killed Mansur while returning him to his hometown.

    In a statement released Monday announcing the pardon, the White House noted that Behenna’s 25-year sentence was greatly reduced following certain concerns about the case. Behenna was released from prison on parole in 2014.

    “After judgment, however, the U.S. Army’s highest appellate court noted concern about how the trial court had handled Mr. Behenna’s claim of self-defense. Additionally, the Army Clemency and Parole Board reduced his sentence to 15 years and paroled him as soon as he was eligible in 2014—just 5 years into his sentence.”

    Oklahoma Attorney General Mike Hunter has repeatedly petitioned the White House for clemency, writing to Attorney General Bill Barr last month that Behenna’s conviction was predicated on improper procedure by prosecutors.

    Special Counsel Attorney Michael Dreeben informed the court the special counsel was charged with investigating an obstruction case against President Trump from the beginning. President Trump was the target of their investigation from the outset.

    It would be targeting and banning Muslims who, more than any other group, threaten to murder people on their platform. None on Facebook, or in the world, are more violent than Muslims, and they habitually threaten to rape and murder on Facebook without paying a price for it.

    And I’m well aware that I have no right to be on Facebook, but unlike those who state that fact as if that’s the end all and be all, I have the right to criticize Facebook for its fraudulent practices.

    And let me repeat this: I don’t want our corrupt government coming in to regulate a corrupt social media platform. Facebook is justifiably paying a price for its corrupt policies by losing users, and it will eventually pay the ultimate price for it by being supplanted by a far better and more honest platform.

    I’m back on Facebook today (for the moment) after my latest 30 day ban. None of the bans that I’ve been hit with on social media have been justified, and all were made under a false pretense. I’m not “violent”, nor do I ever call for violence against others. I am not “dangerous”, no matter how dangerous my enemies think my work is to their agenda. The first time they banned me was after I won the AFDI Mohammad cartoon contest. I can surmise that after Muslims failed to murder me right after I was announced the winner of the contest, that Muslims on Facebook wanted to at least “murder” my Facebook account, by bitching and moaning about me, and reporting me for who knows what reason, and it worked, as my account disappeared. But then there was a huge online backlash against Facebook and they reinstated my account, claiming it was a “mistake”. And since then, Facebook has been banning me regularly. For a day, a week, to now frequent 30 day bans.

    This entire story is a reminder that there is no corruption, no crime, and no venality too despicable and criminal for the intersection of Democrats and unions to carry out. This isn’t an aberrant incident. There’s an entire political movement across multiple states that has been engaging in the practice of forcibly ‘unionizing’ the parents of disabled children, children carrying for disabled parents, and other home caregivers, and then stealing their money.

    It’s disgusting and despicable. And if Republicans were doing it, you would be hearing about it on the news every single day.

    But you haven’t and won’t. At least not until now when the Trump administration finally put a stop to it.

    Durbin claimed that Americans who interrogated Al Qaeda terrorists in Gitmo had committed atrocities similar to those that “have been done by Nazis, Soviets in their gulags, or some mad regime — Pol Pot or others.”

    When Karl Rove noted that, “Al Jazeera now broadcasts the words of Senator Durbin to the Mideast, certainly putting our troops in greater danger”, Dems began shrieking that Durbin was being accused of treason.

    Recently the Democrat-controlled House of Representatives failed to censure Rep. Ilhan Omar for indulging anti-Semitic tropes like the “dual loyalties” slander. Not long after, the international edition of The New York Times published a vile cartoon caricaturing Israeli Prime Minister as a guide-dog leading a blind Donald Trump, another anti-Semitic lie about the Jews’ malign influence, one popular in Nazi propaganda of the Thirties.

    Jew-hatred on the left is becoming more prevalent and bolder, these days nourished by the progressive Democrats’ alliance with traditional Muslims, whose ancient Islamic doctrines have for 14 centuries made Jews the scapegoat of Islam’s ills.

    One of the biggest current bipartisan cover-ups is the studied silence about traditional Islamic Jew-hatred. As Andrew Bostom documented in his compendious The Legacy of Islamic Anti-Semitism (and here), from Islam’s birth the Jews have been depicted as the inveterate enemies of Allah’s revelation to Mohammed. In the Koran, they are “laden with God’s anger,” destined to suffer forever “abasement and poverty,” and to be turned into “apes and swine” because they rejected Mohammed–– slurs incorporated into the genocidal Hamas’s foundational covenant. The latter slur about “apes and swine” is a favorite of contemporary Islamists. Sudanese dictator Omar al-Bashir, for example, in 2002 called for jihad against the Jews, “those apes, pigs, and worshippers of calves,” the latter phrase linking the exodus story about the golden calf to modern anti-Semitic stereotypes of Jews as greedy money-grubbers and masters of the global financial system.

    Long before the current scenes of thousands of migrants showing up in New Mexico or Arizona, the northward migration was fueled by a combination of Latin American instability and American greed for cheap labor going back over a century to the Mexican Revolution.

    Venezuela’s spectacular collapse may be dominating the news cycle now, but a Latin American country usually implodes in a spectacular fashion every few years. Even now, there is political chaos in Nicaragua, with major protests demanding the ouster of Sandinista leader Daniel Ortega, and brewing scandals in Argentina, Brazil and Peru that could expand and tear any or all of the three countries apart.

    Political instability, sharp swings from the far left to the far right, from Marxist terrorists to military warlords, are not a temporary aberration that can be fixed with our foreign aid or military intervention. They’re an enduring feature of political life that are as much a part of Latin America as the Declaration, the Constitution and the Founding Fathers are a part of the United States of America.

    Political and civic institutions in Latin America are sources of instability. What little stability there is comes from the legal economy of oligarchs and the shadow economy of organized crime. The oligarchs work national economies and provide opportunities for educated professionals and trained workers. The crime lords, cartels and gangs offer security and economic opportunity for those nearer to the bottom.

    America is not going to Americanize the countries south of the border. Instead America is being remade along a more Latin American model with radical politics, gang violence and a loss of civic confidence.

    President Trump sent the stock market tumbling on Monday after a weekend tweet threatening to levy more extensive tariffs on imported goods from China.

    President Trump threatened to raise the 10% tariffs on Chinese goods to 25% on Friday.The Republican president also threatened to tax an additional $325 billion in Chinese goods coming into the United States.

    EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: The Modi government claims, as have other Indian governments before it, that it has conducted surgical strikes against terror organizations in Pakistan. Whether or not these claims are true, terror activities have continued. If surgical strikes are to be effective, they must be properly targeted.

    Several of India’s leading politicians claim that New Delhi has conducted surgical strikes against terror outfits based in Pakistan. On December 1, 2018, for example, Congress party president Rahul Gandhi claimed that during his party’s government headed by PM Manmohan Singh, the Indian Army conducted three surgical strikes in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK).

    On March 4, 2019, Bharatiya Janata Party supreme leader and India’s current PM Narendra Modi said that India “has run out of patience with terrorism,” will “beat them (terrorists) in their own house,” and will not spare them “even if they hide in the bowels of the earth” or “on the other side of the border.” His government claims that India’s Air Force conducted a “preventive non-military strike” on a Jaish-e Muhammad (JeM) terrorist camp in Balakot across the Line of Control in Pakistan’s Khyber Pakthunkhwa province on February 26, 2019.

    “The Iraqi judiciary has tried and sentenced more than 500 foreigners since the start of 2018 for joining ISIS, the country’s Supreme Court announced on Wednesday.

    It said “514 verdicts were issued, for both men and women, while another 202 accused are still being interrogated and 44 are still being tried.”

    Another 11 were acquitted and released, it said.

    The statement referred to “different nationalities” but did not list any specific countries.

    It said interrogations were taking about six months for those simply accused of ISIS membership, but anyone accused of actively taking part in the extremist group’s operations could be questioned for up to a year.

    Iraq declared victory over ISIS in late 2017 and began trying foreigners accused of joining the militant group the following year.

    It has condemned many to life in prison, including 58-year-old Frenchman Lahcen Ammar Gueboudj and two other French nationals.

    It has also issued death sentences for other foreign ISIS members, although they have not yet been carried out.

    Among those awaiting trial in Baghdad are 12 accused French ISIS members, who were caught in Syria and transferred to Iraqi custody in February.

    Government sources have told AFP that Baghdad would be willing to try all foreigners currently held in Kurdish detention in northeast Syria for a price.

    Around 1,000 suspected foreign ISIS militants are in detention in northeast Syria, in addition to around 9,000 foreign women and children in camps there.

    Wednesday’s statement by the court “urged all trials of foreign terrorists to be moved to Baghdad, as most of the embassies are in the capital and so embassy representatives from the terrorists’ countries can attend the sessions.”

    Iraq has also already tried thousands of its own nationals arrested on home soil for joining ISIS, including women.

    It has begun trial proceedings for nearly 900 Iraqis repatriated from Syria and sentenced four to death last month under its counter-terrorism law. “

    The source, who requested anonymity, said the delay behind the arrival of housemaids before Ramadan was due to their training and qualification for a month on the house chores and the Saudi customs and traditions.

    The source said the Musanid computer program of the Saudi Ministry of Labor and Social Development was not properly activated in Ethiopia.

    “The Ethiopian ministry of labor is also keen that every housemaid should have a clean criminal sheet and have no health issues,” he said.

    The source expected the Ethiopian house helps to occupy about 50 percent of the recruitment sector because they are comparatively cheap and are hard workers.

    Under a contract signed between the labor ministries in the two countries, the monthly salary of an Ethiopian housemaid will be SR1,000 while the cost of her recruitment will rage between SR4,000 and SR7,000.

    Ibrahim Al-Majed, an owner of a recruitment office, said the measures being taken by the Ethiopian ministry of labor have delayed the arrival so far of the Ethiopian housemaids and he expected the first batch of about 9,000 of them to arrive during the coming few days.

    Under the contract, the Ethiopian housemaid should be well-trained on the Saudi customs and traditions, qualified on the house work and have a clean criminal record.”
