Daily Links Post graphic

Each day at just after midnight Eastern, a post like this one is created for contributors and readers of this site to upload news links and video links on the issues that concern this site. Most notably, Islam and its effects on Classical Civilization, and various forms of leftism from Soviet era communism, to postmodernism and all the flavours of galloping statism and totalitarianism such as Nazism and Fascism which are increasingly snuffing out the classical liberalism which created our near, miraculous civilization the West has been building since the time of Socrates.

This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

This is the new Samizdat. We must use it while we can.

  1. Muslims flee, Christians grieve in Sri Lankan town torn by violence (reuters, Apr 25, 2019)
    https://uk.reuters.com/article/uk-sri-lanka-blasts-muslim-refugees/muslims-flee-christians-grieve-in-sri-lankan-town-torn-by-violence-idUKKCN1S108N

“As mourners buried the remains of Christian worshippers killed by the Easter Sunday suicide bomb attacks in Sri Lanka, hundreds of Muslim refugees fled Negombo on the country’s west coast where communal tensions have flared in recent days.

At least 359 people perished in the coordinated series of blasts targeting churches and hotels. Church leaders believe the final toll from the attack on St Sebastian’s Church in Negombo could be close to 200, almost certainly making Negombo the deadliest of the six near-simultaneous attacks.

On Wednesday, hundreds of Pakistani Muslims fled the multi-ethnic port an hour north of the capital, Colombo. Crammed into buses organised by community leaders and police, they left fearing for their safety after threats of revenge from locals.

“Because of the bomb blasts and explosions that have taken place here, the local Sri Lankan people have attacked our houses,” Adnan Ali, a Pakistani Muslim, told Reuters as he prepared to board a bus. “Right now we don’t know where we will go.”

Islamic State has claimed responsibility for the attacks, yet despite Islamic State being a Sunni jihadist group, many of the Muslims fleeing Negombo belong to the Ahmadi community, who had been hounded out of Pakistan years ago after their sect was declared non-Muslim.

The fallout from Sunday’s attacks appears set to render them homeless once more.

Farah Jameel, a Pakistani Ahmadi, said she had been thrown out of her house by her landlord.

“She said ‘get out of here and go wherever you want to go, but don’t live here’,” she told Reuters, gathered with many others at the Ahmadiyya Mosque, waiting for buses to take them to a safe location.

    “I HAVE NOTHING NOW”
Sri Lanka’s government is in disarray over the failure to prevent the attacks, despite repeated warnings from intelligence sources.

Police have detained an unspecified number of people were detained in western Sri Lanka, the scene of anti-Muslim riots in 2014, in the wake of the attacks, and raids were carried out in neighbourhoods around St Sebastian’s Church.

Police played down the threats to the refugees, but said they have been inundated with calls from locals casting suspicion on Pakistanis in Negombo.

“We have to search houses if people suspect,” said Herath BSS Sisila Kumara, the officer in charge at Katara police station, where 35 of the Pakistanis that gathered at the mosque were taken into police custody for their own protection, before being sent to an undisclosed location.

“All the Pakistanis have been sent to safe houses,” he said. “Only they will decide when they come back.”….”

    • Just maybe someone there might have the courage to do is extremely necessary, but then I could not stand the western grovelling to muslims if they did so. IMO until we remove the traitors posing as leaders in the west nothing can happen.

      • You are right and given the political climate in Europe I don’t think they can be removed by being voted out of office.

    • muslims cant be fleeing. The Leaders of The West all said it had nothing to do with islam and only hotels, churches and Easter Worshippers got hurt. (And they won’t be coming back until next Easter anyway!).

      Is it a guilty conscience?

      *The Media are confusing me*

    • Muslims flee, Christians grieve
      It’s about time.
      Turnabout is fair play.
      (Though I don’t believe it’s happening.
At least not yet. We’d be treated to lavishly staged “Rohingya” -reruns.
      Reuters is Qatar.)

  2. On Notre Dame:

    https://www.gatestoneinstitute.org/14107/notre-dame-destruction-christian-europe

Normalcy bias is the reason denial runs through this burned monument. It is the reason left-minded people haven’t yet awoken to a dystopian present worthy of any fictitious future. Of this group, we know Jews are conspicuous for the preferred target they represent. Yesterday, for a tangential instance, my child’s highschool history teacher conflated Hitler with Churchill. The former was presented as an animal-loving, decorated war hero, the latter as nothing more than a violent drunk. When a teacher can twist truth like this there is no telling what else is in his head.

If the second coming of Christ occurred tomorrow, would anyone notice? Forget about whether you even believe in God.

Would MSM suppress news of him? Would social media giants scrub him? Through what demographic veins would his presence live or not live? Would Islam claim him for their prophesies? I’m sure the answers to these questions would surprise.

What if He roams Earth now, anonymously? Of course he is regarded as just another homeless lunatic. If he has a Youtube channel is he demonetized? If he runs a blog, how many subscribers does he have? Will he become discouraged because there is too much competition in this world for his message to resonate? To all of these questions the answers must be a resounding “No”, because such issues are of the mortal coil, not of His.

The truth is the truth is the deconstructionist’s plaything. Notre Dame cathedral’s loss is a monumental metaphor for a lot of things, but the second coming of Christ is probably the least of them.

Whatever rises to replace the cathedral’s fallen spire, it will represent the belief system of those who rebuild it.

My guess is that if J.C. showed up tomorrow there would be confusion and chaos like church bombings, fires and, even though the river of truth would run right through it all, the news would be more about the undesirables who jumped in to take a swim.

    • It is a very old novel theme. I must have read at least 3 or 4 such as a teenager (no idea of titles). All religious groups since the beginning have waged a war vs prophets (real ones that is) as any sign of superior ability whether god given or not, shows up their fallibility and that is what so many, if not all religions, burnt or stone witches et al. Difference, especially superior difference (and I do NOT mean an IQ of 200 or more but a REAL difference) terrifies religious zealots and now politicians. JoN would be lucky to reach 20 now and the chances are that he would have been a vegan, green, LBQTetc supporting. leftist atheist if born in the west who denied any abilities as they would be socially heretical. The ONLY chance he would have would be if he was born in a wilderness far from the west with only a primitive subsistence tribe near. There he could have obtained the might position of shaman (neither sarcasm nor a joke)

    • NR: This is why Bill Whittle is on my permanent shit list. In his little plea for tolerance and the usual suicidally palliative Leftist bullshit, the otherwise remarkably well-versed scientist managed to leave out the following:

      From the Gatestone link –

The fire that destroyed much of the Notre Dame Cathedral in the heart of Paris is a tragedy that is irreparable. Even if the cathedral is rebuilt, it will never be what it was before. Stained glass windows and major architectural elements have been severely damaged and the oak frame totally destroyed. The spire that rose from the cathedral was a unique piece of art. It was drawn by the architect who restored the edifice in the nineteenth century, Eugène Viollet-le-Duc, who had based his work on 12th century documents.

In addition to the fire, the water needed to extinguish the flames penetrated the limestone of the walls and façade, and weakened them, making them brittle. The roof is non-existent: the nave, the transept and the choir now lie in open air, vulnerable to bad weather. They cannot even be protected until the structure has been examined thoroughly, a task that will take weeks. Three major elements of the structure (the north transept pinion, the pinion located between the two towers and the vault) are also on the verge of collapse.

NR: I suppose that I should thank you, Johnnyu, for conforming what I already knew. Right now it’s pretty hard to feel thankful for anything except that the West has all the nukes and Islam DOES NOT. More on that later.

Even as the fires were barely extinguished in Ile de la Cité, gentle readers will recall that I compared the blazing roof’s burst of heat to a banshee that screamed through the entire structure.

I noted how the hulk would have to be braced with I-beams every five feet.

I used bonfires against a brick wall to point out how the mortar was trashed.

I compared the entire structure’s thermal excursion to a ceramic mug undergoing temperature shock as part of showing how the cathedral’s skeleton had been flexed like stressed Lego.

I introduced the Dresdner Frauenkirche rebuild to outline how grueling an authentic, reconstructive, restoration of a cathedral would be. Doing so, I insisted that the entire church would have to be dismantled stone by Parisian stone and laid anew with fresh mortar.

I have ZERO formal schooling in architecture or engineering but did my level best to prepare all of us for what I knew in my heart of hearts was coming. I did this long before anyone else was willing to talk about anything but the supposedly accidental cause of this obvious arson.

The soul of Notre Dame cathedral was torn by the roots from its burning body on April 15th and—for those with a pair of brain cells they can rub together—it’s all anyone needs to know in order to understand that one of Western Civilization’s greatest living architectural masterpieces was flambéd like an afterhours IHOP crepe.

Ever the overachievers, we Westerners must not abandon the field to these halfwit Saracens—smirking in their porkless sandblows. Secrets of the ancients are an open book to minds such as ours.

Lex talionis is ever the cruel taskmaster. The doctrine of Fair Play is not all hearts and flowers. Sometimes the Good Book reads like an open book:

And if any mischief follow, then thou shalt give life for life, Eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot, Burning for burning, wound for wound, stripe for stripe.

      — Exodus 21:23-25

For with Fair Play must come Substantial Justice or else what’s a courtroom for?

The fire at Notre Dame took place less than three years after a “commando unit” of jihadi women, later arrested, tried to destroy the cathedral by detonating cylinders of natural gas. Three days before last week’s fire, on April 12, the leader of the jihadis, Ines Madani, a young French convert to Islam, was sentenced to eight years in prison for creating a terrorist group affiliated with the Islamic State.

The message was clear. Only fools with fingers jammed in their ears failed to get it. The syllogism of fairness is followed by the Rule of Reciprocity:

Do not always take if you will not give in any measure.

Islam always has tried to take the lion’s share of respect without bothering to understand or even care about how such pride is exactly like love, honor, respect and, yes, even money. IT IS EARNED.

There is no other way to legitimately obtain any of them.

Unearned love too often is dispensed promiscuously with all its attendant ills.

Unearned honors are never much of a fireside for the soul.

Unearned respect cannot be anything but a source of overweening hubris.

Unearned wealth? With what verdict shall we pass that societal kidney stone? Along with its conjoined twin, unmerited fame, unearned wealth is one of the West’s most conspicuous failings.

Play the lottery, star on a tightly-scripted “reality” show, invent a pet rock, copy a browser, marry for money, be famous for being famous, lipsynch your way to a Grammy, and win a Nobel Peace Prize just for not being your predecessor.

They’ve printed so much paper currency that you can’t wipe your ass with it fast enough. Still, no one can seem to get too much of it. Go ahead and pander to Mexico with a presidential campaign based on borderless immigration that promises money for nothing and the spics for free.

Trust fund babies, double dippers, and coupon clippers are all along for the free ride until the going gets tough. Then the toughs get going, and going, and going, going, gone! To the flyest kidder…

It seems as though I may not be the only one who’s telling Islam to stick it. Some others have taken on an even sharper note. Encumbering surface wars will force a reluctant West to take a stab at cutting to the chase. Stroppy Muslims can’t help but twist the blade as they play scimitar-wielding mujaheddin to the hilt.

No rapier wit is needed point out how poorly honed Arab militaries are. Where things get dicey is fighting all that chop at the beachheads. No matter how thin you slice it, we’re still getting shanked.

Islam’s at the edge of massively disproportionate retaliation that will make Christchurch look like a game of mumblety-peg. Over in the UK, it’s all slit-and-run with June Cleaver and Dirk Pitt upstairs taking a jab at playing sword and sheath.

In Case no one noticed, we aren’t babies anymore, this isn’t Gerber, the Buck stops here, and the entire Swiss Army in stilettos couldn’t fix bayonets any faster than Bowie with a pigsticker.

Let it be bare bodkins then to dagger the Koran’s dogma. When the scales are balanced it will turn out that:

A Conservative is merely a Counterjihadist who hasn’t been knifed yet.

      What’s wrong with this picture?

      — Islam’s Nuclear Arsenal —
      • 100 warheads in Pakistan (150-160, but not all operational)

      — America’s Nuclear Arsenal —
      • 1600 in ICBMs
      • 2880 in SLBM in submarines
      • 1660 in strategic bombers (B52, B-2)
      • 1120 in dispersed non-strategic forces on tomahawk cruise missiles and for use with NATO and U.S. aircraft

MOABs are all that we need. All Islam needs to do is choose:

MECCA OR MEDINA ASSHOLES? PICK THE ONE YOU WANT TO KEEP.

Two week or six week notice. I could give a fuck. Let them cart off every stick of furniture along with anything else that isn’t nailed down.

Let them go ahead and try to take apart Al-Masjid al-?aram or Al-Masjid an-Nabawi stone by stone before we swing by and turn the place to gravel, then return to bounce it a few times.

After that, periodically seed the place with cluster munitions to render it uninhabitable for long enough so that the entire shithole dries up and blows away. If it dries away and blows up, that’s just fine, too.

Another 911 or Notre Dame-style Atrocity and Islam can kiss their other butt cheek goodbye. Whatever Paris left unsaid, Sri Lanka made perfectly clear.

Now we always won’t have Paris and the problems of three little Muslim shrines don’t amount to a hill of beans in this crazy world.

Soon enough, everything will go all pear-shaped to where there’s zero notice and the Muslims are slumbering blissfully unaware at home.

      • Soon enough, everything will go all pear-shaped to where there’s zero notice and the Muslims are slumbering blissfully unaware at home.

This is more likely then destroying an empty city as a warning.

        1) Giving that warning is not politically possible the left would raise enough hell that riots would tear us apart.

        2) You don’t give warning demonstrations to military enemies, they will take the warnings as a sign of weaknes.

When things go pear shaped enough for the US or Israel to launch on Islam they will not stop with one or two cities. The only way to do this would be to take out all Holy Cities (except Jerusalem) and the Capital cities of all nations that support (no matter how small the support) our enemies.

Hit hard, Hit fast, Use overwhelming force.

Don’t Pi$$ on them kick their A$$ as hard as you can. Of course it will take two to three years of real hard combat before the political climate will let us use nukes or MOABS and FOABS (Father) on civilians.

        • Spot on. But this would be totally impossible with the leftist politicians slumbering in all western parliaments not to mention the leftist scum undermining everything in the bureaucracy who will whistle blow on any attempt.

Removal of the left is the primary objective as with them there it is a Vietnam war all over again with leftist handcuffs tying military hands behind backs.

        • Fact is this won’t end until someone loses all patience and glasses Mecca, proving once and for all that Allah has no power on Earth and that the Caliphate is dead. Because otherwise, no matter how many times Islam gets its head kicked square, it’ll soon return with the same shit as it has for 1400 years.

Either Islam ends, or this never ends. _Choose._

          • Nuking Mecca won’t end Islam, it is unlikely that anything will destroy any religion, taking out all of the Capital cities and Holy cities may allow Islam to be changed. If you dig you will find that very few religions that we read about in history have been destroyed, there are still followers of all of the old religions.

          • Osama bin Laden argued for destroying Mecca. Salafists figure such reverence for _place_ is idolatrous.
An aspect of their theology that turns off Wahhabis, for whom the Hajj is their bread and camel-urine.

            • Osama bin Laden argued for destroying Mecca. Salafists figure such reverence for _place_ is idolatrous.

An excellent point that very few people remotely comprehend. Baron Bodissey was noting this back in 2006 but Notre Dame changed everything.

I, too, used to argue against flat out annihilating the shrines. However, now that Islam is destroying the West’s own temples it’s time to do precisely was was argued about at GoV back in 2006 and, now, Reziac so saliently points out how:

Muslims are among the world’s most superstitious people and irrefutable proof of Allah’s ultimate fallibility is now a measure-of-last-resort.

After being punished for their weakness and impurity, will this inspire some Muslims to “try harder”? OF COURSE!

Still, there’ll be ANOTHER BILLION MUSLIMS that’ll daily remember how one of Islam’s fangs was drawn for this dishonor to humanity and that they have but one left pull.

After that, it will be a diet of soft food for the “lone wolf”. [spit!]

At the risk of over-embellishing this, it’s not about tit-for-tat. At this juncture Islam must be unmistakably instructed as to the cost of promoting such destruction.

NOT doing anything is a simple incentive FOR THEM TO DO MORE.

Taking minor or “punitive action” is inadequate. It’s much like Machiavelli’s advice that, “If an injury has to be done to a man it should be so severe that his vengeance need not be feared.”

It is obligatory to reciprocate at this level or IT SIGNALS THAT THE WEST WILL TOLERATE WORSE.

Destroy Medina or experience another atrocity on the level of Notre Dame? That’s the only choice. I sincerely doubt that Turkey’s Little Sultan will demolish the Hagia Sophia to spite Christianity. He probably prongs its keyhole to get off. (Good fit, too.)

              • If anyone is going to nuke it somewhere will be those places with the greatest body count potential. otherwise it is a waste of time. If islam had nukes before the west had any, most of the west would be an irradiated dead zone. They would have no hesitation in using them..it all in the koran

      • Johnny-
When a teacher can twist truth like this there is no telling what else is in his head.

You’re homeschooling with a double load. Dismantle the structure of lies first, then build a foundation with substance. Plus you’ve got to be more convincing than the brainwashing professional. That’s heavy lifting.

NONE of my friends send their kids to public schools. Those who can’t afford private – all opt for parochial, and many of those are also toxic – go the homeschool route. They get help from volunteers, the big pool of retired baby-boomers.

The State is getting intrusive, though. Wants to make sure all kids are sufficiently impaired to serve as the peons of tomorrow. Now Christians and Orthodox Jews have stolen tardish lawfare tactics. We’ve banded together, a class action “faith community”, to keep the commies out.

  3. Germany: Threat against a commemoration remembering the Armenian genocide in the Ottoman Empire+++
Because of an anonymous threat against a commemoration ceremony remembering the genocide of the Armenians in the Ottoman Empire, yesterday Wednesday evening around 7 p.m. there was a large police operation in and around the Luther Church in Bad Cannstatt.”We were told by the police shortly before the event that we should leave the church because a warning about a bomb attack had been received,” parish priest Dr. Diradur Sardaryan told the press. At that time, around 7 p.m., parishioners and guests had already been in the church. Other guests who wanted to come to the commemoration were not allowed to come near. Those already in the church were brought to safety, according to official police reports about 60 of them. The church was evacuated. The police, with about 40 deployed police officers, closed off the area on a large scale and officially spoke of a “threat situation” and not explicitly of a “bomb threat”. Then we had to wait and see.Around 8.40 p.m. the police unblocked the large area, but from then on no one was allowed to enter the church. Special forces with dogs searched the building and the church area until late in the evening. Investigations into backgrounds and the whistleblower are continuing.

  4. Sri Lankan Police Detain Man With Ammunition, Parliament Passes – Reports (sputniknews, Apr 25, 2019)
    https://sputniknews.com/asia/201904251074451205-sri-lankan-police/

“Sri Lankan police detained on Thursday a young man after discovering ammunition and passes to the federal parliament while searching his apartment, Ada Derana news portal reported.

According to news portal, the suspect, 26, was arrested in the town of Balangoda. During the search, the police seized a tablet, several mobile phones, 13 SIM cards, bullets and a number of credit cards, Police also found an improvised map showing roads leading to the parliament building.

The suspect is reportedly expected to appear before a local court later in the day.

Sri Lanka remains on high alert after on Easter Sunday, the country was shaken by a series of coordinated attacks that left 359 people dead and over 500 injured nationwide. These attacks, which targeted churches and luxury hotels, were the worst the country has faced since the end of its 25-year-old civil war in 2009. Daesh* terrorist group reportedly claimed responsibility for the attacks on Tuesday.

Sri Lanka authorities launched a criminal investigation after the terrorist attacks, and have already arrested around 80 suspects.

*Daesh (also known as ISIS/ISIL/IS) is a terrorist group banned in Russia”

  5. US Backtracks on Sanctions on Iran’s Revolutionary Guards Days After Designation (sputniknews, Apr 25, 2019)
    https://sputniknews.com/world/201904251074452200-irgc-terrorism-exemptions/

“Earlier, the US formally designated Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) military unit a foreign terrorist organisation, with Tehran responding by placing first US Central Command and then the entire US military on its own list of terrorist groups.

The US State Department has waived a ban on US travel to government officials, businessmen, and workers of non-governmental organisations that have dealings with the IRGC, two notices outlined by Secretary of State Mike Pompeo on the Federal Register’s website have indicated.

Specifically, the exceptions allow individuals working with the US in Iraq and Lebanon to also maintain contacts with the IRGC without repercussions. Iran and the US each engage in diplomatic and military efforts in both countries, including in the fight against Daesh (Islamic State)* and other widely recognised terrorist groups.

Pompeo specified that the travel ban waivers were based in US national security and foreign policy interests.

In one of the two explanatory notes, the secretary of state noted the sanctions wouldn’t apply “to any business, organisation, or group, whether public or private, solely based on its provision of material support to any foreign government sub-entity that has been designated as a foreign terrorist organisation.” In the other, he indicated that the sanctions wouldn’t apply “to any ministry, department, agency, division or other group or subgroup within any foreign government” unless they were already covered by existing US restrictions.

The exemptions are significant and unusual, because under US law, foreigners believed to have provided “material support” to organisations designated as foreign “terrorist” groups are traditionally banned from entry into the country.

The notices confirm an earlier Reuters report, citing three officials familiar with the matter, which indicated that foreigners working with the IRGC wouldn’t necessarily face US travel restrictions…”

    • The US State Department has waived a ban on US travel to government officials, businessmen, and workers of non-governmental organisations that have dealings with the IRGC, two notices outlined by Secretary of State Mike Pompeo on the Federal Register’s website have indicated.

Someone at the White House has decided that it’s possible to be, “a little bit pregnant”. All of which is in perfect keeping with this country’s PoMo Prog-installed conviction that it is possible to pick up a turd by it’s clean end.

  6. Knife crime rises to record levels in England and Wales as homicides hit highest in a decade (telegraph, Apr 25, 2019)
    https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2019/04/25/knife-crime-rises-record-levels-england-wales-homicides-hit/

“Knife crime has risen to record levels in England and Wales with some areas seeing an increase of up to 35 per cent in a year, official figures show.

Police recorded 40,829 offences involving knives or sharp instruments in 2018, up six per cent on the year before and the highest level since records began in 2008/9.

Homicides were also up by 6.1 per cent to732 their highest for a decade with four in ten involving a knife or sharp instrument.

Violent crime recorded by police was up by 19.1 per cent from 1.35 million offences to 1.6m, its highest rate for more than a decade.

Robberies recorded by police were up by 11.3 per cent to 82,600, the highest level since 2008, while overall police recorded crime increased by seven per cent to 5.8m offences, its highest since 2004.

The continued rise in knife crime comes as police chiefs have secured an extra £100 million to mount a surge in the seven worst hit areas in an attempt to reverse the trend.

Earlier this month Theresa May and Sajid Javid, the Home Secretary, held a Downing Street summit to launch plans for a multi-agency “public health” approach to the crisis with a legal duty on doctors, teachers and police to report children at risk of being drawn into knife crime.

The Office for National Statistics (ONS) data showed three quarters of the police forces in England and Wales – 31 out of 43 – saw a rise in knife crime in the year to December 2018. The biggest rise was in Merseyside where it rose by 35 per cent to 1,231.

Knife or sharp instrument offences tended to be concentrated in metropolitan areas with 33 per cent in London, which had a rate of 167 offences per 100,000.

The highest rates after London were seen in Greater Manchester, West Yorkshire, and West Midlands (129 ,118 and 111 offences per 100,000 population respectively). This compares with an average of 76 offences per 100,000 population in England and Wales.

One glimmer of positive news is evidence that the rate of increase in knife crime appears to be slowing. Offences rose 9% in the 12 months to September 2018 and 13% in the 12 months to June 2018.

In London, where there has been targeted policing on knife crime hotspots with big increases in the use of stop and search, there was just a one per cent increase in the number of offences involving knives or sharp instruments.

This is smaller than the increases seen previously (22 per cent in the year ending March 2018, 15 per cent in the year ending June 2018 and eight per cent in the year ending September 2018).

While knife crime has increased, the number of police recorded offences involving firearms fell last year by two per cent..

There was an overall eight per cent rise in theft offences, which was mainly driven by a 23 per cent increase in theft from outside a dwelling. This includes the theft of items such as wheelie bins, For Sale signs and caravans.

Burglaries declined by three per cent but there was an increase in vehicle offences, due largely to a nine per cent rise in theft or unauthorised taking of a motor vehicle.”

  7. Austrian Asylum Centre Employees Receive Death Threats from Asylum Seekers (breitbart, Apr 25, 2019)
    https://www.breitbart.com/europe/2019/04/25/austrian-asylum-centre-employees-receive-death-threats-asylum-seekers/

“According to information from the Austrian Interior Ministry, asylum home employees face threats of murder from angry asylum seekers with at least 15 serious incidents occurring in the last year.

The information came in response to a question posed to populist Interior Minister Herbert Kickl from David Stögmüller of the Green party, Kronen Zeitung reports.

Many of the asylum seekers have specifically made threats to staff in order to be transferred to a different facility, according to the report. A case in the town of Maria Enzersdorf saw an asylum seeker threaten an employee with an iron bar because he wanted to be moved to another location.

Other incidents have seen quite different motivations for the death threats including in Salzburg where a migrant threatened to kill an employee over food and in Bergheim where two migrants became so angry at the lack of internet access that they threatened to kill one of the care workers.

Last year in Italy, a similar case occurred when a 26-year-old Senegalese asylum seeker physically attacked an asylum home worker because the home had not listened to his repeated requests to install wireless internet.

Some of the cases in Austrian asylum homes also turned physical with several employees claiming that migrants had tried to intimidate them by pushing their chests up to them and to security guards. At least one worker had been injured as a result of a conflict with a migrant.

While none of the attacks listed caused serious or life-threatening injuries, several asylum care workers in various European countries have been killed by migrants since the height of the migrant crisis in 2015…”

  8. UK Police ‘Screen out’ Nearly Half of Crime Reports While Every ‘Hate Incident’ Investigated (breitbart, Apr 25, 2019)
    https://www.breitbart.com/europe/2019/04/25/uk-police-ignore-crime-probing-hate/

“Police have been accused of “ignoring crimes which aren’t easy to solve” after figures showed a steep rise in the number of cases UK forces close or “screen out” within 24 hours.

Freedom of Information requests found that police across ten UK forces gave up investigating 431,000 reported crimes within a day — a figure which has more than doubled from the 194,500 recorded in 2014, the Sunday Telegraph revealed.

While most of the reported offences dropped related to thefts, the number of violent crime cases shut within 24 hours quadrupled from 11,927 to 44,548 in the same period between 2015 and 2018 while sex crimes ignored surged from 703 to 1,605 in this period.

The National Police Chiefs’ Council (NPCC) said: “Preventing and investigating violence and sexual offences is a priority for police forces. While there is an increase in sexual offences closed after initial investigation, it is less than one per cent of the total.”

“With more crimes and fewer officers on patrol it is taking longer to respond to incidents and there is increasing evidence that these delays hinder evidence collection, making it less likely that crimes will be solved,” it said.

While blaming a shortfall of staff for the rising number of crimes going uninvestigated, the NPCC last year defended figures showing officers wasted thousands of hours looking into almost 12,000 non-criminal ‘hate incidents’.

The law enforcement body praised as “vital”, protocol which sees forces required to proactively solicit reports of ‘hate’ from the public and to investigate every complaint with either phone interviews or sending officers out to make home visits.

Speaking to the BBC on Tuesday, chief constable Ian Hopkins from Greater Manchester Police (GMP) admitted the force was failing to properly investigate around 430 reported offences a day — 43 per cent of the total number.

Insufficient officer numbers and budget cuts have made “screening out” crimes on the basis of factors such as threat level and the likelihood of being able to solve the case a “necessary evil”, according to the UK force.

“If your life is in danger, you’ve been seriously hurt, we will still turn up,” Hopkins told BBC Radio Manchester.

“If there’s an immediate threat we will be there and we will be there in numbers.

“If your shed’s been broken into, your bike’s stolen, your vehicle’s broken into and there’s no witnesses, there’s no CCTV and there’s no opportunity for forensics, we’ll be screening that out really quickly.

“Your likelihood of a police officer turning up to deal with that is almost non-existent and that’s where the public have really started to feel it. That bit worries me.”

David Spencer, of the Centre for Crime Prevention think tank, slammed the figures, commenting: “The term screening out is clearly a PR phrase for ignoring any crimes that aren’t easy to solve, It is high time that the GMP and other forces gave a lot more focus to tackling these everyday crimes.”

GMP, which says that tackling the “abhorrent” phenomena of hate crimes and incidents “is a priority”, was highlighted as a shining example of how police should be dealing with the issue in a report last year from Her Majesty’s Inspectorate of Constabulary and Fire and Rescue Service (HMICFRS), which praised the force for its “positive and innovative practice” including the development of a “transgender toolkit”.”

    • The police have a shortage of personnel for pursuing serious crimes, but they have plenty of spares to send three at a time to arrest people for liking mean tweets.

As the old jape about the bobbies goes:

“Halt! or I’ll say halt again!”

    • In Clockwork Orange Burgess had the Brits turning criminals loose so they could jail political prisoners. Once again the left is taking dystopian novels as training manuals.

“A study has found that Germans are increasingly hostile toward asylum-seekers, whereas prejudices toward other minorities such as homeless or gay people have declined.

The Friedrich Ebert Foundation, which commissioned the survey, said Thursday that 54.1% of respondents expressed negative opinions about asylum-seekers, up from 49.5% in 2016 and 44% in 2014.

Germany saw a significant increase in migrant arrivals in 2016, with almost 746,000 people seeking asylum that year. Numbers have since declined again, with about 186,000 asylum requests last year.

The representative telephone survey, which is conducted every two years, involved 1,890 respondents and took place between September and February.

The study also examined for the first time how receptive Germans are to conspiracy theories. It found about that 46% of respondents believed secret organizations influence political decision-making.”

  10. Afghan official says Taliban ambush police convoy, kill 9 (abcnews, Apr 25, 2019)
    https://abcnews.go.com/International/wireStory/afghan-official-taliban-ambush-police-convoy-kills-62619706

“The Taliban ambushed a security convoy in western Afghanistan, killing nine policemen, and in Kabul, a would-be attacker died when a bomb he was trying to plant at a private university detonated prematurely, officials said Thursday.

According to a councilman in western Farah province, Abdul Samad Salehi, the ambush took place in Anardara district as the convoy was heading to defuse a roadside bomb on Wednesday afternoon.

Shortly after the attack, other Taliban insurgents targeted and briefly overran the district police headquarters, setting off hours-long clashes, Salehi said. Reinforcements arrived later and managed to wrest back control of the headquarters.

The resurgent Taliban, who have been active in the area and have launched large-scale attacks against Afghan security forces in Farah in the past, did not immediately comment on the attacks.

The insurgents have been staging near-daily attacks across Afghanistan even as they hold talks with a U.S. envoy tasked with finding a peaceful resolution to the 17-year war.

On Thursday in Kabul, a bomb meant to target the private Jahan University blew up apparently prematurely inside a campus bathroom, killing the suspected militant and wounding three students.

Basir Mujahid, spokesman for the Kabul police chief, said the blast took place around 10:30 a.m.

No group immediately claimed responsibility for the explosion but the Taliban and Islamic State militants — who both oppose women’s rights to education — have targeted schools and placed of education in the past.

Though the Taliban are holding meetings and negotiating with U.S. peace envoy Zalmay Khalilzad, they refuse to talk directly to the Afghan government.

Talks that were to start last week in Qatar between the Taliban and an array of prominent Afghans, including government officials and opposition representatives, were scuttled after a falling-out between the two sides over who should attend.”

    https://sputniknews.com/asia/201904251074454720-sri-lanka-bombing-christians/

“Sunday’s suicide bombings on churches and luxury hotels in Sri Lanka killed at least 359 people and injured roughly 500.

Sri Lankan Defence Secretary Hemasiri Fernando has stepped down, taking responsibility for the Easter deadly terror attacks on the country, Reuters reports.

According to the minister, Sri Lankan security agencies were actively responding to the advance warning they had received about the possibility of attacks. “We were working on that. All those agencies were working on that,” he was quoted as saying.

Sri Lanka’s President Maithripala Sirisena has earlier asked for the resignation of Hemasiri Fernando and Inspector General of Police Pujith Jayasundara.

The government conceded that there had been a “colossal failure in the communication of this intelligence” to the agencies who could have taken measures to prevent what happened.

“Spokesman of Sri Lanka’s Police Ruwan Gunasekara said police had found a warehouse with about 200 bomb detonators in the city of Nuwara Eliya in the central part of the country, Daily Mirror newspaper reported on Thursday.

According to Gunasekara quoted by Daily Mirror, police have also detained three people in the metropolitan area for storing 21 grenades. In addition, those detained possessed six bladed weapons and an improvised low-power explosive device.

The counter-terrorist operation in various parts of the country is still ongoing, online publication Ada Derana said.

On Monday, Sri Lankan police found at least 87 detonators at a bus station in the neighbourhood of Colombo, the country’s largest city by population.

Several days before Sri Lanka was shaken by a series of coordinated attacks that left 359 people dead and over 500 injured. The Islamic State terrorist organization (banned in Russia) reportedly claimed responsibility for the attacks on Tuesday. Sri Lanka launched a massive security operation in the wake of the tragedy.”

A New Jersey mayor is facing mounting backlash for telling a constituent to call the cops on Jewish people for going to the beach.

Brick Township Mayor John G. Ducey was responding to a flat-out anti-Semitic tweet by user @simms10471 Tuesday night asking: “Can we please do something about our parks and beaches. They are being invaded by the hasidic and orthodox jews and being ruined.”

“Our tax paying residents are being forced out while politicians sit and do nothing,” the user added.

Instead of condemning the tweet, Ducey, a Democrat, responded: “Just call police with any problems and they will send them out.”

After major backlash from other Twitter users throughout Tuesday night and into Wednesday, Ducey tried to back-peddle.

  15. Disaffected Venezuelan military tell of rising desertions to Brazil

PACARAIMA, Brazil, April 24 (Reuters) – Venezuelan military personnel are deserting to Colombia and Brazil in growing numbers, refusing to follow orders to repress protests against the government of President Nicolas Maduro, six of them told Reuters.

A lieutenant and five sergeants of the National Guard, the main force used by the Maduro government to suppress widespread demonstrations, said the bulk were going to Colombia, the most accessible border, but others like themselves had left for Brazil.

Colombian immigration authorities said some 1,400 Venezuelan military had deserted for Colombia this year, while the Brazilian Army said over 60 members of Venezuela’s armed forces had emigrated to Brazil since Maduro closed the border on Feb. 23 to block an opposition effort to get humanitarian aid into the country.

  16. As the gilets jaunes protests rage on, police attempt to straightjacket the press

The recent arrest of two journalists at a demonstration is symptomatic of the hostile climate facing journalists in Macron’s France.

Over the last months the gilets jaunes movement has shone a light on police violence. Some protesters have been mutilated for life by police weapons, and an elderly lady was left with a fractured skull after police knocked her over at a rally in Nice. Up until now, however, the French police have left the press relatively untouched. But on 20 April, which marked the 23rd consecutive weekend of protests by the gilets jaunes, police arrested two freelance journalists during a demonstration in Paris.

Gaspard Glanz, a reporter for Taranis News, and Alexis Kraland, a freelance journalist, were both filming the march. The police, however, cited their “participation [in] a group planning to commit violence or degradations” as the reason for their arrest. Kraland refused to hand in his camera and was detained for 8 hours; Glanz spent the weekend in jail for raising a middle finger to police officers after one of their grenades almost hit him during the protest.

Journalists and human rights groups keeping count of the alarming number of injuries now estimate that 76 journalists, photographers and videographers have been constrained by police since the first gilets jaunes protest. In Emmanuel Macron’s France, journalists are being arrested and detained for an unlawful time for covering demonstrations.

Unlike Kraland, who was released after a few hours and without sanctions, Glanz was held for 48 hours. This is twice the legal amount of time the police can detain someone without giving a reason. Police have since banned Glanz from covering protests in Paris, including the traditional International Workers’ Day march on 1 May, until his trial in October.

The armed forces present at each Saturday protest are there to “prevent violence and ensure the security of the protesters and journalists”, the French interior minister told Agence France-Presse. When journalists are arrested, “which can happen”, he said, it is not because of their status as press, but “because of [their] noted infractions”. Raising a finger to the authorities is puerile at best, as Glanz admitted, but a 48-hour long stay in jail and a ban from the capital’s protest is an officious punishment.

Glanz’s case also underlines the precarity that freelance journalists face when covering this type of demonstration. He was denied the status of journalist because he didn’t have a professional card to prove it – a card many independent journalists cannot get if at least half their revenue doesn’t come from a “recognised” media organisation.

Fewer journalists hold a press card each year in France, in part due to the profession’s casualisation, with short-term contracts and freelance work increasingly common. Glanz is a journalist nonetheless, but his lack of professional accreditation led to more trouble. It is easier for the authorities to ostensibly confuse reporters like Glanz with protesters “planning to commit violence or degradations”, and therefore to arrest them.

And because Glanz covers social conflicts and street protests, his name is on the French intelligence services’ “S record”, a watchlist supposedly reserved for terrorists but used by French authorities to keep an eye on radical activist networks. This, in turn, was used to paint him as an extreme left activist attending the protest out of his own political convictions rather than to report on the news.

Glanz’s case is symptomatic of an alarming situation for French journalists. Media unions and Reporters Without Borders, a non-profit organisation, are warning of “violations of the freedom of the press.” Catherine Monnet, deputy chief editor at Reporter Without Borders, told AFP that these arrests were “contrary to the right and the freedom of information”: “Journalists must be able to cover these protests freely, to report on them and on the acts of the protesters and the police”, she added. Since Glanz’s detainment, journalist societies – journalist unions – from Le Monde, Libération, France Télévision and Médiapart have spoken publicly in defence of Glanz, denouncing the “deafening silence of the ministry of information and communications, supposed to defend the freedom of the press”.

“We are starting to wonder whether there is a determined will to intimidate journalists, especially photographers, on the ground. We are under the impression that some are being targeted,” Vincent Lanier, from the media union SNJ, told Le Monde. “This is a very slippery slope for freedom of information. It is the freedom of the press that is endangered”, he added.

The independent news website StreetPress has called for a “boycott of government communication” in response to Glanz and Kraland’s arrests: “These are not isolated events. They are part of a global context of violation of the freedom of the press since the start of the current presidency.” Indeed, from deferential interviews to choosing which journalists can attend presidential visits to the closure of the Elysée press room, Macron’s presidency, which is not yet two years old, will not be remembered for its fierce defence of the press.

Shortly after his release, Glanz said he will cover the upcoming protests despite his ban. He warned that a “very serious point of no return” has been reached, assessing the changing relationship of a two-faced police towards the press: “When we were filming their units during the Strasbourg attacks, they were proud to show their shields to the camera, we were helping their promotion. But when we show police violence, the truth of what happens in Paris, then we’re banned from filming. Because we could show things that must not be seen.”

ARRESTATION DE GASPARD GLANZ LE 20 AVRIL 2019 À PARIS

  17. The Archbishop of Colombo, Cardinal Malcolm Ranjith, said April 23, that he would have cancelled Easter Masses had he been warned that the Churches might be targeted.
He called for the firing of Government officials for failing to act on information from the Indian Government that terrorists were planning to attack Churches over Easter. “because for me, the most important thing is human life” Human beings, they are our treasure.” “I would have cancelled even the holy week itself.” Ranjith told Radio Canada,
Warnings reportedly came from the Indian Government and from other intelligence sources, and said directly that churches could be targeted by Islamist terrorist attacks. Government officials have promised an inquiry into those reports.
“These kind of officials should be immediately sacked, removed from these positions. And human beings who have a feeling for the needs of others and for the people must be inserted into these positions,” Ranjith said.

  20. COLOMBO, Sri Lanka — Sri Lanka’s former navy chief says the father of two of the Easter suicide bombers has been arrested on suspicion of aiding his sons.

Jayanath Colombage, who now is a counter-terrorism expert at the Pathfinder Foundation, confirmed the arrest to The Associated Press on Thursday.

Sri Lankan police could not immediately be reached for comment.

Sunday’s coordinated suicide bombings targeted three churches and three hotels, killing at least 359 people and wounding 500 more. Authorities have blamed a local group, National Towheed Jamaat, for the attack. The group was previously only known for vandalizing Buddhist statues and for the extremist online sermons of its leader, alternately named Mohammed Zahran or Zahran Hashmi.

  21. Rising Conservative voice Antonia Okafor woke up today to find that YouTube has struck again.

This time, in YouTube’s non-stop efforts to harass and ban Conservatives, they demonetized Okafor’s entire channel which promotes second amendment protection and activism along with other Conservative topics.

Below you can see the message she received from YouTube:

Of course, for my fellow Conservatives this comes as nothing new, but that doesn’t make it any less dangerous and infuriating.

But what makes it so bad is that beyond Conservatives like Okafor herself, many small channels and new Conservative voices are silenced before they even have a chance to get out of the gate.

Somewhat luckily, Okafor has created a large enough platform for herself that news of YouTube targeting her channel was quickly picked up by news outlets such as Breitbart as well as personalities like Dave Rubin. Because of this, it is very possible she will have some leverage to possibly get her channel unblocked, and YouTube will claim once again it was a “mistake” despite this only happening to Conservatives. But at least she has a chance to reverse this.

Most of the jihadis who targeted Christians in Sri Lanka on Easter Sunday with a wave of suicide bombings that left hundreds dead and wounded at churches and high-end hotels are “well-educated people” from affluent families, the South Asian island nation’s deputy defense minister revealed on Wednesday.
Deputy Defence Minister Ruwan Wijewardene’s comments contradicted assertions by former U.S. President Barack Obama’s administration that a lack of economic opportunities is a top driver of Islamic terrorism.

“Most of [the suspected terrorists] are well-educated and come from upper middle class, and so they are financially independent,” the minister told reporters, according to BBC.

“Their thinking is that Islam can be the only religion in this country,” he also said, according to the Associated Press (AP), adding that at least one of the terrorists got a law degree and studied in the U.K. and Australia.

Without identifying him, Wijewardene noted that “one of the suicide bombers studied in the UK and then, later on, did his post-graduate [degree] in Australia before coming back to settle in Sri Lanka.”

  26. Giuliani knocks Clinton’s Trump indictment claims, says old DOJ policy of ‘you cannot indict a Clinton’ will change

President Trump’s attorney Rudy Giuliani turned the tables Wednesday on Hillary Clinton over her claims that President Trump would have been indicted by Robert Mueller if he weren’t in office, saying there used to be a policy of “you cannot indict a Clinton”, but that’s about to change.

“There is a woman who really obstructed justice,” Giuliani said of Clinton during an appearance on “Fox and Friends”. “The president didn’t delete 33,000 emails. He didn’t have somebody smash up telephones. And he didn’t have someone wipe out a server and bleach it, among the few things that she did. The president was innocent of the underlying crime.”

“Collusion delusion. No collusion. If you are innocent on the underlying crime, then everything they are talking about is an effort for him to defend himself. If I tell somebody that I’m innocent, please, testify on my behalf and say what happened, am I obstructing justice or am I defending myself and serving justice,” he added.

  27. The Operation Against General Flynn Started Long Before The Election
President Trump will hopefully do the right thing soon.
    April 25, 2019
    Michael Ledeen

Byron York seems baffled by the discovery in the Mueller report that the FBI was after General Michael Flynn long before the intercepts of his telephone conversations with Russian officials during the post-2016 election transition. By that time, Obama Administration higher-ups in the intelligence community were warning Trump that Flynn had suspicious intimate contacts with the Russians, possibly in violation of the Logan Act. As Byron writes:

Mueller strongly suggests something else was up. Obama administration intelligence officials “were surprised by Russia’s decision not to retaliate in response to the sanctions,” the report said. “When analyzing Russia’s response, they became aware of Flynn’s discussion of sanctions with Kislyak. Previously, the FBI had opened an investigation of Flynn based on his relationship with the Russian government. Flynn’s contacts with Kislyak became a key component of that investigation.

Mueller attributed the information, which is on page 26 of Volume II of the report, to interviews with former Justice Department official Mary McCord, who was deeply involved in the Flynn case, and fired FBI Director James Comey.

The FBI investigation of General Flynn goes back several years, perhaps as far back as 2015. This was undoubtedly because the intelligence community didn’t like Flynn, who had changed the way intelligence was collected and analyzed on the battlefields of Iraq and Afghanistan, taking it away from Washington military and intel officials and relocating it in theater. His methods worked well, but they greatly irritated the Washington-based intelligence crowd. When Flynn was the head of the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), it became known that he intended to audit decades of covert budgets, checking to see if the funding, especially for CIA, actually went to the intended recipients for the approved missions. If you ask me, the campaign against Flynn that so surprised Byron York is best explained by the intel community’s eagerness to lock him out of their system. It was reinforced when Flynn criticized Obama’s Afghanistan policy in sworn testimony to Congress.

  28. Right-wing populist attitudes have become “normal” in Germany’s mainstream, said authors of a new study presented by the left-wing Friedrich Ebert Foundation in Berlin on Thursday.

“The center is losing its footing and its democratic orientation,” researchers said.

The foundation has released reports on right-wing extremism since 2002. The latest study, conducted by a group of researchers from Bielefeld University, shows that a record 54.1% of the respondents across Germany now hold a negative view of asylum-seekers.

  29. Germany’s far right AfD party looks set for a huge election win in a bombshell vote that could force Angela Merkel out early.
The party stands a good chance of winning the most seats in the east of the country this autumn, which would be a serious blow to the German chancellor.
Although the AfD’s poll ratings remain in the low teens for Germany as a whole, it’s expected to seize control of dozens of councils in local elections next month, reports the Times.
In the 2017 general election, the nationalist opposition party came second to Merkel’s Christian Democrats (CDU) in the eastern states, with 22 percent of the vote.
Now the AfD is narrowly ahead, with 23 percent against 22 percent, a survey for the tabloid Bild am Sonntag has revealed.
The Left party, a successor to the SED that ruled East Germany’s one-party state, is in third place with 18 percent.
While The Greens have increased their share from 5 percent to 12 percent in 18 months.
Three of the five former East German states – Thuringia, Saxony and Brandenburg – will elect new parliaments in September.
And polls suggest that the AfD could win any of the three, which would bring the far right into government for the first time since 1945.

I kind of assumed he would be supporting @BernieSanders, since Bernie wants to give incarcerated criminals the right to vote…Unless maybe @JoeBiden secretly supports that too??? ??

  31. The police in Longueuil managed to dismantle a vast network of pimps, some of whom went so far as to sell a victim for a few thousand dollars.

During a major operation last week, seven suspects were arrested in connection with sexual exploitation activities.

On the spot, the police discovered the presence of three victims who were under the yoke of the network and who thus could be released. Two were 16 years old.

  32. (CNN)A Massachusetts state court judge and a former court officer who allegedly helped a twice-deported undocumented defendant elude immigration authorities were indicted Thursday on obstruction of justice and other federal charges.

Newton District Court Judge Shelley Richmond Joseph, 51, and former trial court officer Wesley MacGregor, 56, face charges of conspiracy to obstruct justice, obstruction of justice, obstruction of a federal proceeding — aiding and abetting and perjury, according to an indictment in US District Court in Boston.
“This case is about the rule of law,” US Attorney Andrew Lelling said in a statement. “We cannot pick and choose the federal laws we follow, or use our personal views to justify violating the law.”
Joseph and MacGregor were to appear in federal court in Boston on Thursday afternoon. It was not immediately clear whether they have legal representation.
“Everyone in the justice system — not just judges, but law enforcement officers, prosecutors and defense counsel — should be held to a higher standard,” Lelling said. “The people of Massachusetts expect that, just like they expect judges to be fair, impartial and to follow the law themselves.”

  33. Valerie Jarrett touts Obama admin’s clean record on spying. Sharyl Attkisson has something to say about that

Two weeks ago Attorney General William Barr testified to Congress that he believes the Obama administration had spied on President Donald Trump campaign during the 2016 presidential election.

This announcement triggered recriminations from congressional Democrats and their media allies, as the AG’s assertion stood in stark contrast to the claims of the Obama administration, which of course Democrats and their medias have invariably chosen to automatically believe.

In light of these claims, renowned investigative journalist Sharyl Attkisson decided this week to highlight to the public just how often the Obama administration lied and continues to lie.

She accomplished this by retweeting a post uploaded by Obama-era White House adviser Valerie Jarrett in 2017. In the post, Jarrett had proudly shared a quote from former President Barack Hussein Obama’s spokesperson, Kevin Lewis, and then cockily added in her own words, “Enough said.”

  34. Baltimore Democratic Mayor Catherine Pugh’s whereabouts are unknown as government officials raided her home and city hall Thursday.

Pugh’s spokesman James Bentley said he did not know where she was and had not talked to her, The Associated Press reported Thursday.

An anonymous source said Pugh left the state, according to CBS Baltimore. She was at her house when the FBI and IRS executed the search warrants, however.

The 69-year-old mayor is currently on an indefinite leave of absence due to pneumonia, according to a press statement on April 1. Pugh felt like she could not fulfill her job until she could “recuperate from this serious illness.” (RELATED: Larry Hogan Wants Catherine Pugh To Resign)

Pugh is under investigation by the Maryland Office of the State Prosecutor after allegedly selling her self-published kids’ book “Healthy Holly” to the University of Maryland Medical System (UMMS) for $500,000 while on the system’s board.

    • Yes I can, there are already signs that the establishment Dems are going to push the idea that Biden is destined by win easily. You know like they did with Hillary. I heard one man (can’t remember who) say that with this many people in the race there won’t be a clear winner and after the first ballot the super delegates come into play then. The super delegates are all establishment so once again the primaries are rigged to let the establishment pick the nominee.

  38. Czech Republic: Prague protesters greet Le Pen and Wilders at right-wing meet

National Rally leader Marine Le Pen held a press conference alongside the leader of the Dutch Party for Freedom’s Geert Wilders in Prague on Thursday, to support the Freedom and Direct Democracy Party’s Czech-Japanese leader Tomio Okamura ahead of the European Parliament elections.

Okamura branded European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker a ‘notorious alcoholic’ as both Le Pen and Wilders attacked multiculturalism and globalisation.

On the same day, Okamura’s party organised a protest against the European Union in the centre of Prague.

Pro-EU demonstrators staged a counter-protest under the reported name ‘Olympics of Noise’ which attempted to drown out the Okamura-Le Pen-Wilders meeting.

Counter-protesters were reportedly forced to leave Prague’s Wenceslas Square by police

  39. IT’S HAPPENING! Joe diGenova: “John Brennan Will Need 5 Attorneys… Report on James Comey Is Coming Out in Two Weeks – Criminal Referrals” (VIDEO)

Former US Attorney Joe diGenova joined former Governor Mike Huckabee and Trump Attorney Rudy Giuliani Wednesday night on The Ingraham Angle.
DiGenova told the panel a solo report on James Comey coming out in about two weeks. DiGenova says the report will contain criminal referrals.

DiGenova also said the only hero in all of the cabal is Admiral Mike Rogers who not only slipped into the Trump tower after the election, and told Trump the truth, but he’d gone to the FISA Court and told them who the culprits were and to stop the madness.

According to diGenova the FISA Court has already turned the information over to Attorney General Bill Barr.

  40. Note: because the REAL victims of the ‘Easter Worshippers’ massacre are – wait for it – Muslims. And we’re there…

Muslims flee, Christians grieve in Sri Lankan town torn by violence

    5 MIN READ

NEGOMBO, Sri Lanka (Reuters) – As mourners buried the remains of Christian worshippers killed by the Easter Sunday suicide bomb attacks in Sri Lanka, hundreds of Muslim refugees fled Negombo on the country’s west coast where communal tensions have flared in recent days.

Crammed into buses organized by community leaders and police, they left fearing for their safety after threats of revenge from locals.

“Because of the bomb blasts and explosions that have taken place here, the local Sri Lankan people have attacked our houses,” Adnan Ali, a Pakistani Muslim, told Reuters as he prepared to board a bus. “Right now we don’t know where we will go.”

    • Note: because the REAL victims of the ‘Easter Worshippers’ massacre are – wait for it – Muslims.

Real simple: If they are, then why aren’t they?

We all know that this is the height of unfairness. After all, how could the Muslims of Negombo possibly have known in advance about this atrocity when the terrorists were being housed, sheltered, and abetted by those pestilential Zoroastrians?

PS: This is why, ever since the Notre Dame Atrocity, those oh-so-peaceful Ahmadiyya, along with every other Islamic sect from Maliki mulligatawny soup to scroatless jihadi nuts, can piously spend five times a day cramming the Koran up their collective ass.

By the pricking of my thumbs, Something wicked this way comes. Open locks, Whoever knocks! How now, you secret, black, and midnight hags!

Something is definitely rotten in Denmark Columbo.

      • Things are going to get nasty and given the escalation in attacks on Christians they are going to get nasty in the near future.

  41. Justice Francesca Marzari, a British Columbia Supreme Court Justice, ruled last week that the father of a 14-year-old transgender boy (biological female) was guilty of “family violence” for refusing to affirm his daughter’s male gender identity.

The father, who is anonymously listed as “C.D.” throughout the court document to protect the identity of “A.B.,” his daughter, is also banned from discussing the ruling publicly in order to prevent A.B. from being “exposed” to hurtful writing or commentary that does not affirm her gender identity.

The ban applies for a one year period but may be extended by the court. It prevents C.D. from “directly, or indirectly through an agent or third party, publishing or sharing information or documentation relating to A.B.’s sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, mental or physical health, medical status or therapies.”
