Jihadi Bride’ Shamima Begum Was a Member of Daesh Morality Police – Report (sputniknews, Apr 14, 2019)

“The young woman has denied any wrongdoing during her time with the terror group and claimed she was only a “housewife” to her jihadi husband.
Shamima Begum, the young woman who ran away from the UK to join Daesh when she was 15, was actually a member of Daesh’s so-called “hisba”, which acted as a morality police on terrorist-occupied territories, a report by The Sunday Telegraph reads.
An anti-Daesh activist from Deir Ez-Zor reportedly told the newspaper that Begum — who claimed she was only a “housewife” during her time with the terror group — had been seen wielding an automatic weapon and shouting at Syrian women for wearing brightly coloured shoes.
“Members of our group from Raqqa knew her well”, the activist, Aghiad al-Kheder, told the newspaper. “There were lots of young European women in the hisba. Some of them were very harsh and the local population became very scared”.
Al-Kheder, is the founder of an anti-Daesh collective that gathered and published first-hand information on Daesh crimes, according to The Independent.
After Daesh’s defeat north of the Euphrates River, Begum ended up in the SDF-controlled al-Hol detention camp in February. She applied for permission to return to the UK, but Home Secretary Sajid Javid denied her entry and reportedly stripped her of citizenship.
Begum’s lawyers are seeking to contest the decision, arguing that the woman is now effectively stateless.
Javid pledged to block all citizens suspected of joining Daesh from returning to the UK where possible, The Independent report reads.
In the meantime, the United Nations has issued a warning that the stereotypes that women only went to Daesh to become “jihadi bribes” causes female Daesh recruits to be dangerously underestimated by national security forces around the world.
The terror group reportedly assigned women important roles as recruiters, radicalisers, and “enablers of jihad”. Remarkably, Daesh, which adhered to most radical interpretations of Islam, officially permitted women to fight in defence of the self-proclaimed caliphate. As Daesh rapidly lost ground north of the Euphrates, women and children were repeatedly seen fighting against the advancing forces.
Begum was one of three teenagers known as the Bethnal Green Trio, who left the UK together to join Daesh in 2015. So far, Begum is the only one whose fate is known. The other two — Amira Abase and Kadiza Sultana are presumed dead, although Begum said she heard rumours that Abase could still be alive.”

“ISIS is still planning horrifying attacks in Europe despite the terror cell’s diminishing size, leaked documents reveal.
Details of plots to carry out assaults across the continent funded and controlled by ISIS leaders were found on a hard drive dropped by a terrorist in Syria earlier this year. ISIS was defeated in its final stronghold last month, but as the West was quick to claim victory the documents give insight into sinister plans including to recreate the Paris 2015 attacks.
Documents outline how the terror group still runs a sophisticated international network, moving fighters across borders and funding their operations from computer hacking to assassinations.
One letter obtained by The Sunday Times, signed by six ISIS leaders and addressed to the group’s “caliph” Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi,breaks down there international strategy into operations and borders.
The operations abroad will be directed by Abu Khabab al-Muhajir, who already controls one cell in Russia and two in Germany.
In order to fund the operations, the letter said: “Killing infidel venture capitalists, hacking banks through bank accounts, bank robberies or robberies of places that are pre-studied.
“After any operation of this kind, we will send the money as we procure it.”
It goes on to explain the attacks in Europe will only be carried out by ISIS members already living on the continent.
Fighters are sent in and out of Syria through Turkey – raising questions on how ISIS are able cross borders that are so highly policed.
The letters detailed attacks in Europe to be carried out within three weeks of when it was dated, which was the end of December.
Specific targets mentioned in the letter included a high-speed train in Germany and an oil pipeline near the Swiss city of Basel, bordering France.
One document further outlines the pledge the ISIS member already in Europe have taken.
It states: “We are your soldiers in Europe, we see what the enemies of Allah do to our Muslim brothers in the home of Islam by killing and bombardment and destruction of houses,.
“All this because they say that our God is Allah, so we have today come to lend the hand of obedience and to stand by the people.
“And we, oh Emir of Believers, are under your command and subject to your orders and your sword that which you strike with the enemies of Allah in Europe.””

European jihadists and their children returning to their home countries pose a threat that the security services are struggling to tackle.
The president of the German Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution (BfV), Thomas Haldenwang, has warned against underestimating the threat posed by Deash* after its military defeat, noting that the danger has “by now means” passed.
“I cannot give the all-clear with Daesh. We must further take into account that Daesh could launch an attack in Germany at any time”, he told the German outlet Die Welt am Sonntag, adding that the Daesh still exists, while Europe has become the scene of a “virtual cyber caliphate, which incites attacks and can still drive its supporters to strike”.
He also warned that there are still underground Daesh groups in Syria and Iraq, and that the security service keeps getting information about people planning attacks.
According to the security official, the number of people that his agency has red flagged as possibly dangerous radical Islamists grew by 300 people last year. 2,240 people are classified as potential terrorists who could carry out or support an attack at any time. Haldenwang noted that the authorities cannot constantly keep an eye on them.
“Keeping track of all these people around the clock is not possible. You would need up to 40 officers per person, so we could focus on those we consider particularly dangerous”, he told the outlet.
According to him, the agency is also paying special attention to the children of German Daesh* returnees coming back from the Middle East.
“We ask ourselves: is this a new generation of terrorists?” the top security official revealed, noting that jihadists’ children might return to Germany one day after witnessing the violence of Daesh, and could worship their dead fathers as heroes. Some of these children are already in the country.
According to him, attempted attacks in previous years have shown that adolescents can become attackers. Thus, Haldenwang pleaded for legal changes to allow monitoring children in individual cases.
“If we are allowed to record their data, then we can, for example, forward the information to the youth welfare office”, said Haldenwang, adding that the minors are victims themselves.
He also defended the plan to grant access to messenger services, saying that security services are able to monitor trivial banter for now, but chats are often hidden from them. Meanwhile, terrorists are said to be well aware of this loophole. He urged for the adaption of legislation that already allows monitoring telephone conversations under strict conditions to the modern world of communications.
“Extremists and terrorists know exactly how they can interact unnoticed. Their communication options have increased enormously through the Internet. Today, they communicate via messenger services such as WhatsApp, Facebook, or even chats of online video games”, he argued.
At the same time, the official spoke about right-wing conspirators as being isolated cases.
“I do not yet see a great threat or a large scale. It seems to me to be isolated cases that need to be investigated — but they are not beginning to gain the mass of a ‘shadow army’”, he said.

“There’s growing concern in northern Nigeria over the level of banditry and kidnapping in the state of Zamfara.
In a recent video, local journalist Kadaria Ahmed, has hit out at the government over what she claims to be a surge in killings there.
“Every day we bury between 30, 40 and 50 people,” she said in the video, first broadcast on television and then widely shared on social media.
She said there were more killings taking place than in Borno, Adamawa and Yobe states, areas in north-eastern Nigeria affected by Islamist militants Boko Haram.
So what’s going on in Zamfara, and are levels of violence increasing?
Zamfara has long faced problems with armed groups stealing cattle, kidnapping for ransom and attacking communities, which has in turn prompted some local people to form vigilante gangs.
More recently, there has been a growth in informal mining activity in this mineral-rich region, which has attracted people from outside the state, further fuelling instability.
At the beginning of April, the government responded to concerns over increasing levels of violence, suspended all mining activities in the state, and deploying additional troops to the area.
The Nigeria Security Tracker, produced by the Washington-based Council on Foreign Relations (CFR), monitors levels of violence by collating local media reports.
This highlights a significant upsurge in killings over the past few months.
According to these figures, from the beginning of 2019, there have been 262 civilian deaths. In the whole of 2018 there were 288 and for 2017, the figure is 52.
The CFR data also indicates a sharp rise in killings of members of armed groups – which would include bandits, vigilantes and others involved in criminal activities.
However, the number of deaths each day is not as high as the 30 to 50 claimed by Kadaria Ahmed.
With 262 civilian deaths in the first 100 or so days of this year, that’s between two and three deaths each day – although the CFR data does indicate that this number is rising…”

Though it is too early to assess the impact of President Donald Trump’s decision to harden US policy towards the Islamic Republic of Iran, one thing is already clear. Trump’s rhetoric and the reactivation of sanctions suspended by President Barack Obama, plus new measures against the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) are making it harder for the leadership in Tehran to pursue its forked-tongue diplomacy designed to hoodwink bleeding heart liberals in the West while fanning the fires of hatred in the global anti-West constituency.
The ventriloquist running that diplomacy used loudmouths like Dr. Hassan Abbasi (aka the Kissinger of Islam) to peddle a pseudo-Islamicized version of the anti-American narrative created by people like Noam Chomsky and Louis Farrakhan in the United States and Jean-Luc Mélenchon and Marine Le Pen in France.
At the other end of the spectrum, the ventriloquist used people like Muhammad Javad Zarif to deceive East Coast liberals and Europe’s “soft” anti-Americans. Zarif was the ideal dummy to play the role.
Having spent nearly half of his life in the United States, part of it as a student in a provincial college in the Wild West, he has mastered the vocabulary to reassure audiences in the Council on Foreign Relations branches from New York to Peoria, if such a branch exists. He knows how to use American clichés such as “give-and-take”, “win-win” “the roadmap” and “dialogue of civilizations”, whatever that means.
The Gatestone article has some interesting points about what is happening, some good and some possibly bad. The report about Iran and India building a trade port together is an example of one that is both. It hurts China and helps Iran.

Their company, Means TV, is an Internet-only web streaming service that, for a monthly $10 subscription, would offer entertainment programming with “pro-worker” and “anti-capitalist” viewpoints, including original TV shows, talk shows, comedy sketches, reality TV and on-the-ground reporting.
The service is the brainchild of filmmakers Naomi Burton, 29, and Nick Hayes, 22, a girlfriend-boyfriend duo who gained national attention last year for producing a campaign video for Ocasio-Cortez that went viral and helped to propel the formerly unknown candidate to an upset Democratic primary victory.
Means TV began releasing preview videos last month and Burton and Hayes are aiming to raise $500,000 through the website by May 30. That amount could finance an initial year of programming, which would roll out late this year or early 2020, they said.

David Hogg weighs in on war between Left and Right over Omar’s 9/11 remarks

The International Criminal Court (ICC) said Friday it will not pursue an investigation into possible war crimes committed during the war in Afghanistan.
After 18 months of debate, the ICC “rejected unanimously the request of the Prosecutor to proceed with an investigation for alleged crimes against humanity and war crimes, on the territory of in the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan,” according to a Friday statement.
The court’s chief prosecutor Fatou Bensouda requested authorization in November 2017 to start an investigation into alleged war crimes relating to the conflict in Afghanistan.

That was so last month.
LU contributor Hans Bader pointed out that when San Antonio, Texas banned Chick-fil-A from its major airport, the city was violating the chain owners’ First Amendment rights. San Antonio imposed the ban due to Chick-fil-A’s donations to groups like the Salvation Army and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
He noted the same thing about Buffalo, New York’s ban on the restaurant.

South China Sea WARNING: Philippines order Beijing to STOP endangering fishermen
THE Philippines government have ordered China to halt any acts which could endanger the lives of their fishermen.
President Salvador Panelo said doing so would “cause irritants” that threaten the currently positive relationship with Beijing. His comments follow an increased Chinese military presence around the Philippine island of Pag-asa. China previously warned “non-littoral states” that are in the disputed sea against “stirring up trouble”.
China’s warning follows the US’s naval ships participating in drills alongside the Philippines.
Both countries practised recapturing small islands seized by a hypothetical foreign military force.
In the exercises, the US also tested a new application for its amphibious assault ships.
The US Navy said in a statement: “US and Philippine forces will conduct amphibious operations, live-fire training, urban operations, aviation operations, and counterterrorism response.

Unterzeichnet wurde der Aufruf von Parlamentariern aller Fraktionen mit Ausnahme der AfD.
Solidarität mit ziviler Seenotrettung
Im Wesentlichen gebe es vier Forderungen, sagte Amtsberg: Zum einen müsse es Verständnis dafür geben, dass eine zivile Seenotrettung nötig sei. “Wenn ein Mensch in Seenot geraten ist, muss er gerettet werden”, betonte sie. Zum anderen werde die Bundesregierung aufgefordert, auf europäischer Ebene Koalitionen zur Aufnahme geretteter Menschen zu schmieden. Zudem müssten die Kommunen, die sich zur Aufnahme bereiterklären, vom Innenministerium besser unterstützt werden. Außerdem müssten sich die Regierungen in Europa mit der Situation in Libyen auseinandersetzen und versuchen, Flüchtlinge aus den libyschen Lagern zu befreien.
Ausgearbeitet wurde der Appell laut Amtsberg von der Parlamentsgruppe “Seenotrettung”. In der Gruppe arbeiteten seit November 2018 etwa zehn bis 20 Abgeordnete ständig mit, sagte die Grünen-Politikerin. Es handele sich aber um eine “offene Gruppe”. Die Gruppe setze sich für eine Versachlichung der Debatte im Parlament ein und werbe für ein breites Bekenntnis zur Seenotrettung.
“Humanitärer Imperativ”
Ärzte ohne Grenzen unterstützte den “Osterappell”: “Menschen vor dem Ertrinken zu retten ist ein humanitärer Imperativ und nicht verhandelbar.” Die Regierung müsse dringend für eine zügige Ausschiffung Geretteter in sichere Häfen sorgen.

Besondere Brisanz erhält der Appell vor dem Hintergrund aktueller Ereignisse auf dem Mittelmeer: Am Donnerstag musste eine schwangere Frau nach einem epileptischen Anfall von Bord des deutschen Rettungsschiffes “Alan Kurdi” evakuiert werden.
Die Crew der “Alan Kurdi” wartet seit neun Tagen mit inzwischen noch 62 Flüchtlingen an Bord vor der Küste Maltas auf eine politische und humanitäre Lösung. Mehrere europäische Staaten verweigerten dem Schiff das Einlaufen in einen sicheren Hafen. Die “Alan Kurdi” ist derzeit das einzig verbliebene private Rettungsschiff im Mittelmeer.

CHINA – Videos: New Mosque Destroyed for Being “Too Arabic”
On April 11, authorities ordered to forcibly demolish part of a newly-built mosque in a village of Gansu Province and later arrested people who shared the news.
According to the source who provided the videos, the construction of the mosque in Gazhuang village, under the jurisdiction of Zheqiao town, in Linxia Hui Autonomous Prefecture of Gansu Province, was completed less than a month ago. The authorities hired a large crane to destroy the mosque’s dome and minarets, as well as the doors, windows, and walls.
The video shows not only the scene of the forced demolition but also the protests of the local Muslims, a few of them weeping on the ground, distraught by the destruction.
A Muslim who was present at the scene recalled that the government officials claimed that the mosque was overhauled because its architectural style was “too Arabic.” However, the authorities have not consulted the local Muslim community before starting the demolition.
“There were no security measures implemented whatsoever; they just began the demolition. Falling debris smashed the roof of the second floor,” said one Muslim who was at the scene.
According to a Deutsche Welle Chinese report, the local government has ordered the public not to forward any videos or photos of the demolition. The police later arrested several residents who recorded videos and shared them.

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: Russia’s geopolitical projection has shifted over the past two decades. The country has tried to reverse its losses in Ukraine and the South Caucasus, but it is in Belarus that Moscow will most likely try to further extend its leverage to keep the EU and NATO at bay.
Russia has extended its geopolitical influence across three major vectors over the centuries: the western front (Eastern Europe, Ukraine, Belarus, the Baltic States); the South Caucasus; and the Central Asian region.
In the South Caucasus the Russians appear to have reached the limit of their influence. There is little more they can do to further increase their already extensive influence over Armenia’s and Georgia’s breakaway territories of Abkhazia and the Tskhinvali Region (so-called South Ossetia). Azerbaijan will likely manage to continue on its more or less independent foreign policy path.

QUINCY, MASS. (WHDH) – Two men are facing criminal charges after police say they poked fun at a pregnant woman who was vomiting outside of a post office building in Quincy before brutally attacking her earlier this week.
Tyrese D. Johnson-Nurse, 19, and David D. Russell, 18, were arraigned Thursday in Quincy District Court on charges including aggravated assault and battery on a pregnant woman and assault and battery.
The woman was walking along Washington Street with her boyfriend on Tuesday evening when she suddenly fell ill because of her pregnancy and started to throw up, according to police.
The couple was then approached by Johnson-Nurse and Russell, both of whom started to laugh at her, police said. The two men then allegedly “got up in her face” and spit on her and her boyfriend.
When the woman said, “excuse me,” the men started to repeatedly punch her in the face as she yelled, “I’m pregnant…I’m pregnant…I’m pregnant,” police said.
After the woman repeated about 10 times that she was pregnant, one of the suspects allegedly said,” I hope he dies. I will kill your kid.”

“Ireland’s fanatical repression of an open debate about “sustainable immigration” is harmful for the future of the nation and for public discourse more generally, David Quinn argues in the Sunday Times of April 14.
The knee-jerk reaction of labeling as a “racist” or “xenophobe” anyone promoting a reasoned discussion of immigration and its limits damages the ability of a democracy to function properly, and such imposed groupthink creates resentment and righteous indignation, suggests Quinn, who runs the Iona Institute for Religion and Society.
A case in point was the recent firestorm ignited by Irish politician Peadar Tóibín, who established the Aontu party, when he proposed a public debate about “sustainable immigration,” to include such considerations as the effect of immigration on the cost of housing.
In response to a question from reporters, Tóibín said it is important to insure “a sustainable, managed immigration policy that matches capacity and numbers.”
The reaction from the thought police was immediate and fierce. Timmy Dooley of Fianna Fail demanded that Tóibín’s “fringe party” be “confronted robustly” for his proposal, while Pearse Doherty of Sinn Fein accused Tóibín of adopting dangerous populist rhetoric.
Former justice minister Alan Shatter lashed out at Aontu, accusing the party of “dog-whistling a nativist, warped perspective on immigration to attract attention, stoke prejudice and generate votes,” Quinn notes.
And yet such commonsense assertions are necessary, Quinn insists, if people are to make informed decisions about issues like immigration that affect everyone.
“In practice, almost everyone supports sustainable immigration, even if they’re scared to say so, because almost no one favours open borders,” Quinn observes. “Who seriously wants no control on the numbers entering the country?”
There is considerable ignorance among the Irish regarding the nation’s immigration statistics, and making the topic taboo perpetuates this ignorance, Quinn asserts.
Thus, while many believe that immigration into Ireland is low compared to Germany or the UK, in point of fact, “the percentage of foreign-born residents living here is higher than either in the UK or Germany,” Quinn notes. Foreign-born residents in Germany in 2017 made up 11 percent of the population and in the UK foreigners accounted for 14 percent of the population. In Ireland, the figure was 17 percent.
In 2017, 25 percent of immigrants in Ireland came from countries outside the European Union. “How many more would we like to see arrive, and over what time period? How about 50,000 non-EU immigrants arriving next year? Or 100,000 or 500,000, for that matter?” Quinn asks.
All of this takes its toll on a nation’s citizens and it is unfair to rule out a debate on an issue that is so central to people’s existence, he contends.
Immigration has a real effect on the cost of housing, on jobs, schools, hospitals, and wages, Quinn observes.
In 2017, some 1,000 additional families sought emergency accommodation and of these, 21 percent were from outside the EU.
“Is it not putting a strain on the system? Are we allowed to ask whether Irish people at the bottom of society are being further disadvantaged as a result?” Quinn asks.
An honest debate will benefit everyone, Quinn concludes.
“Maybe it can be demonstrated that our current immigration levels are sustainable. Maybe no one is losing out. Maybe everyone is a winner,” he suggests.
But no one will know unless the subject can be addressed in a rational way without demonizing those who merely want to raise honest questions.”

A catalogue of those abuses can be found in recently released testimony that ex-FBI official Edward William Priestap provided to Congress in a closed-door interview last summer.
From the end of 2015 to the end of 2018, Bill Priestap was assistant director of the FBI’s Counterintelligence Division, which meant he oversaw the FBI’s global counterintelligence efforts. In that role, he managed both of the bureau’s most politically sensitive investigations: the inquiry into Hillary Clinton’s handling of classified information and the probe into whether Donald Trump or his campaign conspired with Russia to steal the 2016 presidential election. His testimony provides rare insight into the attitudes and thoughts of officials who launched the Russia probe and the probe of Special Counsel Robert Mueller, whose final report is expected to be released very soon.
More important, his testimony contains extensive indications of wrongdoing, including that the FBI and DoJ targeted Trump and did so with information it made no effort to verify. It paints a portrait of the Obama-era bureau as one that was unconcerned with political interference in investigations and was willing to enlist the help of close foreign allies to bring down its target. And, perhaps presaging a defense to Barr’s claim that American officials had spied on the Trump campaign, it showcases the euphemisms that can be used to disguise “spying.”

“Five members of a London gang have been handed jail sentences for the “extremely violent” kidnapping and torture of a 16-year-old.
Isaac Donkoh, 22, and his accomplices, aged fourteen and sixteen, were found guilty of offences including kidnap, grievous bodily harm (GBH), and false imprisonment at Snaresbrook Crown Court on Friday.
A “drill music” artist and gang member, Donkoh and his teenage cohorts, who were acquaintances of the victim, arranged to meet their 16-year-old victim on the night of August 2nd last year in Barking, east London.
A short time later, at the agreed meeting spot on Gordon Road, the defendants pulled up in a dark blue Ford Mondeo and threatened their victim with a machete, punched him in the head, and forced him to get into the car.
They then secured plastic bags over the 16-year-old’s head with an elastic band, before driving him to the home of one of the 14-year-old defendants, according to a police statement recounting the case.
“I thought they were probably gonna kill me,” the victim disclosed in evidence to the court, where jurors heard the 16-year-old had been held at the London address for around two hours, during which he was forced to strip naked and beaten with a metal pole.
The victim also had his hair forcibly cut, was made to swallow a joint of cannabis, and received punches and kicks to the head during the ordeal, in incidents which were filmed by Donkoh on his iPhone.
In addition, the 22-year-old reportedly caused “serious injury” to the victim’s feet, scalding them in the process of a failed attempt to pour boiling water on his head, before eventually allowing the teenager to escape once he made a phone call to his parents, in order to secure a £1,500 ransom fee.
Donkoh was sentenced to 12-and-a-half years while his accomplices were given sentences ranging from 30 to 42 months, according to local media — although it should be noted that it is typical for criminals in Britain to be released automatically at the halfway point or, more rarely, the two-thirds point in their sentences, serving the remainder of their time “on licence in the community”.
Detective Chief Inspector Jim McKee, who led the investigation, commented: “This was an extremely violent incident, which has had a profoundly distressing impact on the victim and his family.
“Whilst the physical scars of that night have started to heal, I believe the psychological impact on the victim has been lasting.
“Donkoh fronted drill music videos for his gang which goaded rivals and recruited boys as young as 14 to commit serious violence.
“I believe that removing Donkoh from the streets of Newham has done a great deal to reduce serious violence in the borough, as we identified a direct correlation between his drill videos which glorified violence and shootings and stabbings on the streets,” he added.”
A shooting in the Salmon Arm Church of Christ has been confirmed by a witness.
Two men were shot.

Ohr Repeatedly Thanked Steele for ‘Updates’ and Assures Steele he will ‘Pass this [Information] along to my Colleagues’
(Washington, DC) – Judicial Watch announced today it received 339 pages of heavily redacted records from the U.S. Department of Justice which reveal that former Associate Deputy Attorney General Bruce Ohr remained in regular contact with former British spy and Fusion GPS contractor Christopher Steele after Steele was terminated by the FBI in November 2016 for revealing to the media his position as an FBI confidential informant.
The records show that Ohr served as a go-between for Steele by passing along information to “his colleagues” on matters relating to Steele’s activities. Ohr also set up meetings with Steele, regularly talked to him on the telephone and provided him assistance in dealing with situations Steele was confronting with the media.
Judicial Watch obtained the records through a March 2018 Freedom of Information Act lawsuit filed after the Justice Department failed to respond a December 2017 request Judicial Watch v. U.S. Department of Justice (No. 1:18-cv-00490)). The lawsuit seeks:
All records of contact or communication, including but not limited to emails, text messages, and instant chats between Bruce Ohr and any of the following individuals/entities: former British intelligence officer Christopher Steele; owner of Fusion GPS Glenn Simpson; and any other employees or representatives of Fusion GPS.
All travel requests, authorizations and expense reports for Bruce Ohr.
All calendar entries for Bruce Ohr.
The timeframe for the requested records is January 1, 2015, to December 7, 2017.

Paludan after attack: Problematic, the police have no control over the situation at all
The racist-minded provocator is unharmed and says he later demonstrates in the area later today.
The police did not do enough to protect the right-wing debater and Islam critic Rasmus Paludan’s freedom of speech when he today demonstrated at Blågårds Plads at Nørrebro in Copenhagen.
He says this to DR News after, according to him, the police ordered him to leave the area, after his presence resulted in unrest.
At Blågårds Plads, Rasmus Paludan threw, among other things, with the Koran and after a very short time was attacked by what he himself considered a man of Somali descent.
– It happened that I was attacked by a Somali, and then the police arrested him and pulled me into a crew car. There I had been able to demonstrate for about two minutes, says Rasmus Paludan.
He did not get hurt by the attack, but got the jacket skinned open.
– Then I was in a crew car for quite some time – maybe a quarter of an hour. Then I was out demonstrating for five to seven minutes while firing fireworks and throwing stones. Then I was asked to get into the crew car again, and that was not a choice, because then I continued to demonstrate, he says.
– We were driven out of Nørrebro, and things were thrown on the crew car, and then I was banned from continuing the demonstration at Blågårds Plads, he says.

A small group of angry Democrats harrassed Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell at a restaurant Friday night, but were met with calls from other customers to leave the Kentucky Republican alone, Fox News reports.
Video obtained by TMZ shows at least one diner berating McConnell on issues such as Social Security at a restaurant in Louisville. The video starts with him yelling at McConnell and arguing with his wife,Transportation Secretary Elaine Chao. The outlet reported that four men first confronted McConnell.
“Oh yeh, why don’t you get out of here? Why don’t you leave our entire country,” the protester tells the couple.
As Chao argues with the protester, McConnell appears nonplussed and sips on a drink. But other diners begin yelling at the protester, telling him to “leave him alone” and making shoo-ing gestures.
“They’re going to come for Social Security,” he told the other diners, before appearing to be approached by staff.

As to “being fed advertisements by the algorithm”, that train left the station DECADES AGO. An excellent example is engineered “boy bands” (e.g., Backstreet Boys) with only age and photogenic appeal working for them.
