Just when it seems that even “ludicrous” has hits its muslim limit you read blatant rubbish like this piece of islamic toxicity only notable for the morons who will actually look at it seriously.
A few days ago, the new president of Mexico, Andres Manuel Lopez Abrader, demanded that King Felipe VI ask for forgiveness for the conquest by Spain, and now a mosque in Seville is doing the same but for the Reconquista (the Reconquest, when the Muslim rulers were driven out of Andalusia-Spain).
The Ishbilia mosque has published a post on Facebook under the name of the Islamic Community itself and its president, Yihad Sarasua, in expressing “the sentiments among Spanish Muslims and those who for certain reasons, reside in Spain, for the lack of conciliation between the Crown and the heirs of the Andalusian legacy.”
“Sir, being the King of Spain, I believe that the historical moment has arrived to carry out the recognition of the vileness, plunder, displacement and murders carried out by orders of the Catholic kings and their most direct collaborators, which culminated with the surrender of Granada and the breach of everything subscribed to the Muslim community”, reads the letter.
Besides, he adds that the Muslims were subjected to a “constant persecution” that left “millions of dead”:
“Never has existed such a fierce persecution and eagerness to eliminate a religious community, as was carried out by the old Spanish royalty in the times of Felipe II, an extermination that culminated in the War of the Alpujarres subsequent to the Pragmatic Sanction of 1567.”
This is why King Felipe VI is asked by the mosque to apologise to the Muslim community.
“As a descendant of the aforementioned kings, what a formidable opportunity you would have to demonstrate to the Muslim community your respect and your discrepancy, with the Islamic theses, apologising to our community for so many atrocities and interceding for the recognition of Spanish nationality for the descendants of Al Andalus, as was done with the Sephardic Jewish community.”
Demonstrating respect with the middle finger would suffice.

“A SAVAGE north London knife attack has left a woman in her 40s with critical injuries, the Metropolitan Police said.

The measure will see councils, schools and agencies required to report any child they think are at risk of getting involved in knife crime, according to MailOnline.

Detectives are appealing for information and urging the public to stay vigilant following the series of stabbings in the Edmonton area.
One man has been arrested on suspicion of GBH at 10:53am in Fore Street.
Enquiries continue to establish if he is the individual behind these incidents.
A local cafe owner, 50, who checked his CCTV to see one of the victims limping down Park Avenue said: ‘It has all gone crazy. Last night there was a guy walking down here with a limp followed by a couple of others.’
Meanwhile, a 50-year-old hospital worker and PHD graduate who dialled 999 following the Brettenham Road attack said he was in his kitchen at 9.30am when he heard somebody shouting ‘oh my God’.
The resident said: ‘I was watching TV and I heard from outside my kitchen somebody shouting “oh my God, oh my God”.
‘The sound was moving around the front of the estate from the back and I called 999. When I came out, his attacker was gone and I heard the man speaking on the phone saying “why didn’t you come yet?”
‘I saw when police cut his clothes off his back. There was blood all around him, it was like a bloodbath.
‘It was horrifying. My son was inside, he is only 15 and he has been left traumatised. He said in that moment “dad please can we leave this place”.
‘I came out onto the main road and he was on the floor face down and then within a minute, the police arrived. They were excellent. The ambulance came four or five minutes later.’
Dozens of officers, riot vans and a police helicopter rushed to the scene in Edmonton, north London, at 9.35am this morning.
The resident said the estate is known for having gangs of between 15 and 20 men ‘hanging around in the car park day and night.’
DCI Stuart Smillie from North Area Command said: ‘The four victims are all from different backgrounds and appear to have been selected at random due to them being alone and vulnerable. There is nothing to suggest this incident is terror related.
‘We are working on the hypothesis that the single male suspect is acting alone and mental health issues may be a factor.
‘All of the people he has targeted have been walking alone and he has approached from behind without warning.’
He added: ‘Members of the public who have information about this suspect or have spotted someone acting suspiciously who matches his description are advised to call police on 999 and not to approach the man.
‘His description has been circulated to all officers in North Area who are carrying out patrols, CCTV footage enquiries and policing busy areas around where the incidents took place, particularly where he was last seen where police arrived four minutes after the call to police was made.’
The detective continued: ‘My advice to the public in the area where these incidents took place stay vigilant, be aware of your surroundings and call 999 if you see anyone matching the suspects description behaving suspiciously.’ “

Cities go dark for Earth Hour, bring light to climate change
Anyone who has performed equipment reliability studies knows that cycling power to any electrical device stresses it. This was proven way back in the 1960s at LRL (Lawrence Radiation Laboratory) when some floors of oscilloscopes were split into two test groups and one subset was left powered up continuously, while the other subset was turned off every night.
The extra amount of electricity consumed was a tiny fraction of what it cost to repair the power-cycled scopes. I’d wager that even the extra HVAC load from the scopes’ heat dissipation didn’t close the cost gap noticeably.
Due to something called thermal dissipation, material objects heat up and cool down depending upon their power consumption. Over time, the physical effects of TCE (Thermal Coefficient of Expansion) that drives expansion and contraction will cause solder joints to crack along with exacerbating other similar failure modes.
Leaving equipment on allows it to maintain a relatively stable temperature and remain dimensionally (i.e., mechanically) stable, if left in a controlled temperature ambient environment. Now, let’s start the billion-dollar-per-hour meter running while you please imagine:
• All of the permanently lit lamps that were cycled for the first time in a year (since the previous Earth Hour) and were weakened or blown out by that power shift.
• All of the residential light bulbs that were needlessly (except for the purposes of virtue signaling) cycled and damaged.
• All of the interior lighting of large buildings and surrounding landscape illumination getting powered cycled.
• All of the emergency lighting systems that were activated in response to system-wide power downs and now need testing, repair or placement.
• All of the staff needed to be on-site for that one special hour in order to cycle the energy for that building or group of structures (without crashing environmental controls, fire and intrusion alarms) and then linger afterwards to make sure everything restarts correctly.
• All of the man hours needed to coordinate ahead of time for these various power downs at all those different properties.
• All of the surge demand that stressed electrical grids when so many lights were turned back on all at once (look up the Superbowl break-time toilet flushing phenomenon).
NOW, clock in:
• All the manufacturing, packaging, supply-chain distribution, handling, ground transportation, and general diddling needed to order, purchase, and replace just the light bulbs that burned out prematurely. Not including switches, fuses, circuit breakers, fixtures, wiring, or other ancillary hardware that shorted out.
• All the hospitalization, treatment, EMS responses, healthcare billing cycles, and missed work hours by people who were injured or injured themselves due to poor lighting conditions.
• All the missed connections, interruptions of service or scheduling delays that rippled through mass transit systems around the world.
• All of the vehicle accidents which happened due to drivers being distracted by the sudden change in surrounding light levels.
• All of the LEO responses, incarceration expenses, court costs, bail bonds, mommies weeping about their little dindus, and every last thing related to opportunistic thugs interpreting lights out as the starter’s pistol for supermarket sweep.
• All of the feral cats that starved to death because fewer birds fell to the ground after slamming into light-reflecting windows during the power down period.
• All the disoriented and panicked house pets that jammed themselves into closet corners looking for a pair of Gucci loafers to crap in out of sheer terror (or vindictiveness).
• All of the incredibly polluting and very low efficiency light sources (e.g., candles, lanterns, tiki torches, oil lamps, Bic lighters, hibachis, fireplaces, and farts) that were lit off to provide alternative illumination instead of using electricity.
• All of the insanely polluting chemical luminescence glowsticks and ridiculously expensive flashlight batteries (and bulbs!) used in moronic, after-dark Earth Hour parades or just navigating in the dark without breaking a leg.
• All of the extra traffic congestion and concomitant pollution load generated by people congregating to participate in these self-congratulatory Earth Hour parades and then leaving for home all at once.
• All of the astronomically expensive repairs and charging power loads related to idiots using their cell phones as flashlights (quite possibly, the most expensive mass-produced lighting sources ever manufactured in all human history).
• All of the astronomically expensive repairs and recharging power loads related to idiots dropping their cell phones in the dark, and then driving them down to the repair shop, getting them fixed, and then wasting more hours synching them back up and data checking, and after that even more hours calling everybody in town to tell them all about the panic attacks resulted from being off line for a shorter period of time than it takes most people to pinch a loaf.
• All the years of therapy and remedial education required to reverse the harmful bulk programing that each Earth Hour’s mass hysteria inflicts on the dimwits who take part in these farces.
• All the extra online traffic caused by people having nothing better to do in the dark.
• All the maternity ward overtime needed nine months after the Earth Hour events caused by clever people having something better to do in the dark. (See: the 1977 NYC blackout.)
• All of the paper cuts, carpal tunnel syndrome, and repetitive stress injuries resulting from counting all that money fleeced from gullible Earth Defenders™.

“French churches are coming increasingly under attack with an average of nearly three churches per day targetted for vandalism alone over the past three years.
A report from the Central Criminal Intelligence Service (SCRC) of the gendarmerie noted that from 2016 to 2018 there had been thousands of cases of church vandalism, peaking in 2017 with 1,045 cases, Le Figaro reports.
According to the French Ministry of the Interior, when cemeteries and other sites are taken into consideration, the number of acts of vandalism rose to 1,063 in 2018.
Earlier this year, in one week alone France saw twelve churches vandalised, including attackers attempting to set fire to the church of Saint-Sulpice in Paris.
In Nimes, an even more heinous attack occurred, with vandals smearing faeces on the wall of the church of Notre-Dame des Enfants and stealing objects from the altar.
In March, the over 800-year-old Basilica of Saint-Denis in the now heavily migrant-populated suburbs of Paris was also vandalised, with the basilica’s organ being heavily damaged and stained glass windows were broken.
Thefts of religious objects have seen an increase since 2016, rising from 121 to 129 in 2018. According to the gendarmes, the thefts are mostly opportunistic, and in some rare cases are carried out by organised crime groups.
They added that churches are often an easy target for criminals due to the fact that many are left open to the public. “These thefts have no anti-Christian motivation but indeed a financial interest,” they claimed, and added that a chalice can be sold for 200 to 2,000 euros.
Last September, French authorities arrested a pair of Romanian migrants who were suspected to be behind a number of church thefts in both Paris and the suburbs of the city. The pair had allegedly stolen up to 70,000 euros worth of property.
Some have actively spoken out against the rise in anti-Christian acts in France, such as Cardinal Robert Sarah, who said: “They are the sad reflection of a sick civilisation that lets itself be swept away in the nets of evil. The bishops, priests, and the faithful must keep up their strength and courage.”

The controversial “red flag” bill aims to seize guns temporarily from people who are deemed to be a threat to themselves or others.
Colorado’s state Senate passed the bill Thursday by a single vote, without any Republican support, and the bill is expected to pass the House, possibly this week. With Democratic majorities in both chambers, state Republicans have too few votes to stand in the way.
But more than half of Colorado’s 64 counties officially oppose the bill. Many have even declared themselves Second Amendment “sanctuary” counties in protest.

When asked to comment on the Pakistani PM’s recent call to form an interim government in Afghanistan, Saleh claimed that Islamabad has repeatedly tried “either to install a puppet clerical regime in Kabul or keep it as weak as possible”.
The goal is “to derail the Afghan constitutional order. Contrary to their rhetoric the Pakistani establishment sees its interest in chaos in Afghanistan. The statement of PM Khan was just an outburst of a covert policy going on for years”, Saleh argued.
He called for “normal, good and friendly relations” between Afghanistan and Pakistan, warning Islamabad not to pursue a policy of the so-called “strategic depth” which Saleh claimed is “truly odd and won’t work” because it relies on “bloodshed, violence, terrorism and blackmail”.

Federal judge restores Obama-era Arctic drilling ban
A federal judge rules against President Trump’s executive order to allow offshore drilling along millions of acres around Alaska, citing its unlawfulness and invalidity.
District Court Judge Sharon Gleason made the decision on Saturday, saying the President exceeded his authority when overturning the ban.
President Trump reversed an Obama-era policy banning offshore drilling, primarily in the Arctic Ocean and parts of the Atlantic.
Gleason says when President Obama made imposed the rules in 2015 and 2016 they were intended to protect wildlife and native villages, and be extended indefinitely; Therefore, the orders could only be revoked by an act of congress, and not a unilateral executive action.

“Brunei has rejected growing global criticism of its implementation of Islamic laws that allow death by stoning for adultery and homosexuality.
The Muslim-majority East Asia state with a population of around 400,000, will implement the Sharia laws from April 3. They seek to punish anyone found guilty by a sharia court of sodomy, adultery, and rape with the death penalty, including by stoning. Those found guilty of theft may face amputation of a limb.
The penalties, which also apply to children, are outlined in new sections under Brunei’s Sharia Penal Code. The legal changes were announced in a discreet notice on the attorney general’s website, as Breitbart News reported.
Brunei first announced the measures in 2013, but implementation has been delayed as officials worked out the practical details, and in the face of opposition by rights groups. Some aspects of the laws will apply to non-Muslims.
The Prime Minister’s office said in a statement on Saturday that it still plans to proceed with the new legislation:

The Beverly Hills Hotel and the Hotel Bel-Air are two parts of the Dorchester Collection, owned by a wing of the Brunei government referred to as the Brunei Investment Agency. They own nine high-end hotels worldwide. The Sultan himself has an estimated net worth of $20billion.
Under secular laws, Brunei already prescribes caning as a penalty for crimes including immigration offenses, for which convicts can be flogged with a rattan cane.
In 2015 the Sultan banned the celebration of Christmas in any form, warning residents of his country that if they plan on celebrating the Christian festival, they could face up to five years in jail.”

“A 91-year-old Swedish man has been convicted of hate speech in the municipality of Bromölla after making disparaging comments about Islam and Muslims online.
The man, who may be one of the oldest Swedes on record to be convicted of hate speech, posted a number of comments in a Facebook group containing around 12,000 people in which he disparaged Muslims, Lokaltidningen reports.
Among the posts written included one in which the elderly man said, referring to Muslims, “You cannot, with the best will in the world, call these beings people. They seem to be inbred as they carry on.”
The Kristianstad district court convicted the man of hatred against an identifiable ethnic group, noting that the post reached a potential audience of 12,000 and had been up for nearly a year.
“The messages have content that is clearly abusive to Muslims and it, therefore, expresses such inaccuracy as is required to be held liable for the crimes against ethnic groups,” the court said.
While the normal penalty for the crime could include two months in prison, the 91-year-old was given a conditional sentence along with a 6,500 Swedish kronor (£535/$700) fine.
The case is just the latest to involve a Swedish pensioner convicted for hate speech made online. In 2017, a man in his 70s was convicted in Gothenburg for a similar post in which he referred to Muslims as “monkeys” on Facebook.
Earlier this year another pensioner, this time in Uddevalla, was convicted and fined 7,200 Swedish Kronor (£593/$775) for a Facebook post in which the 70-year-old claimed that Somali migrants were lazy and refused to work.
In the last several years, Sweden has seen a surge in reported hate speech crimes, with the social justice group Näthatsgranskaren taking credit last year for the increase, saying that they had made at least 800 reports to police in a single year.
The group also admitted that the average demographic of those they had reported tended to be older women over the age of 65.
Sweden is also expected to receive another 7.5 million Swedish Kronor (£618,375/$807,150) from the European Union this year to go towards hate crimes.”

Felicity’s leader, Temel Karamollaoglu, alleged a polling station volunteer and a party observer were shot by a relative of a ruling party candidate.
The killings weren’t caused by “simple animosity,” but happened when the volunteers tried to enforce the law requiring ballots to be marked in private voting booths instead of out in the open, Karamollaoglu alleged.
Speaking to reporters after he voted, Erdogan said he was sad about the deaths and did not want them to become a cause for “a questioning or a judgment between political parties.”

The returning veterans are threatened from multiple sides. They face arrest by security agencies that see them as traitors. Roughly 10,000 veterans of the brigade have returned to Afghanistan, says a senior official in Afghanistan’s Interior Ministry, who spoke on condition of anonymity.
The Afghan government and many experts believe Iran could mobilize these ex-fighters once more, especially if the country’s many armed factions turn on each other in escalated warfare after U.S. and NATO troops withdraw. Al-Shabab announced the killings on its Andalus radio station on Sunday, saying they were carried out by a firing squad in a public square in Kamsuma, a town in the Lower Jubba region.
The group’s spokesman said its recent spate of attacks on hotels in the capital, Mogadishu, have been part of its drive against Somali intelligence agents and other government officials who he said were staying at the hotels.
“We don’t attack every hotel in Mogadishu, but those specific ones (hotels) attacked by Mujahideen fighters have got specific features meriting them for attacks,” said Sheikh Ali Mohamud Rage, on the rebels’ radio station.
“A standard public hotel that civilians stay in is not protected by blast walls and soldiers. These apostates have got no distinct offices, and most of those men were killed at hotels they use as their offices,” he said, apparently referring to Somali government officials.
Mogadishu has seen series of attacks by al-Shabab in recent weeks, highlighting challenges facing the Somali government, which said recently that it is considering imposing a state of emergency in Mogadishu to try to contain the attacks.
Rage also said that the recent withdrawal of Kenyan forces, who are part of the multinational African Union forces in Somalia, from villages were made as result of increased attacks and deaths and budget constraints faced by the Kenyan government.

Despite losing territory in recent years, the extremist group continues to carry out deadly attacks in many parts of the country, especially in Mogadishu. Daniel Henninger this past week asked the right question in his entertaining, Terminator-themed meditation on the anti-Trump opposition that has “crawled across broken glass to terminate this presidency.”
It’s a question we’ve been over before in these pages, although rarely. There are always too many new details popping up in the endless Russiagate saga to zoom out and dwell on the big-picture questions. And up to now, we haven’t learned enough to be sure what direction the questions ought to take us.
Henninger’s central question marks a turning point, rather than a finish line. After pondering the broken glass, he poses this query:

Richard: read the entire article, it is well worth the time, she explores what has happened and is asking questions about why this scandal happened. She rapidly dismisses the Protect Hillary idea but avoids the Protect Obama idea, possibly waiting to see who else brings this up.
My take on this is that the Career Politicians and the Career Bureaucrats consider themselves to be the ruling class, they are willing to go along with the elections as long as those who run for office and are elected are members of the ruling class. To become a member of the ruling class you have to start at the bottom (local political office) and work your way up to Notional office. Doing it this way the politicians end up owing a lot of favors to various political donors and party bosses. Trump came out of nowhere spending his own money owing no favors to donors or party bosses, the ruling class can’t stand this it strikes at the center of their power. If this is not stopped others will get the idea that the voters are the rulers of the nation and not the members of the government. To stop this from happening they (the self proclaimed ruling class)have to destroy Trump and everyone around him as a warning to the rest not to try and stop the ruling class from ruling the nation.

In two unrelated cases, the United Kingdom denied asylum to persecuted Christians by bizarrely citing the Bible and Jesus. Both Christians, a man and a woman, are former Muslims who were separately seeking asylum from the Islamic Republic of Iran, the ninth-worst persecutor of Christians — particularly of those who were Muslims and converted to Christianity.
UK asylum worker Nathan Stevens recently shared their stories. In his rejection letter from the UK’s Home Office, which is in charge of immigration, the Iranian man was told that biblical passages were “inconsistent” with his claim to have converted to Christianity after discovering it was a “peaceful” faith. The letter cited several biblical excerpts, including from Exodus, Leviticus, and Matthew, presumably to show that the Bible is violent; it said Revelation was “filled with imagery of revenge, destruction, death and violence.” The governmental letter then concluded:

With the Brexit saga’s denouement still uncertain, the European Union would do well to re-examine its performance as a daring experience in socio-political engineering on a grand scale. Even if, as expected, the United Kingdom somehow manages to fudge Brexit and remain tied to the EU, the fact remains that millions of Brits and other Europeans are unhappy with aspects of the experience.
The first problem with the EU is that, though it is called a union, it isn’t really one. To be sure it has a flag, an anthem, a parliament, a council of ministers, and even pseudo-embassies in many countries, but despite such trappings of a state, the EU is essentially an economic club; not a state.
Even then, the EU is basically concerned with two branches of the economy: industry and agriculture, sectors that represent around 32 percent of the combined gross domestic product (GDP) of the 28 member states. In the case of Britain, which is primarily a service-based economy, industry and agriculture account for around 25 percent of GDP.
The EU’s annual budget accounts for around one percent of the total GDP of its 28 members. However, on average, the state in the 28 member countries controls the expenditure of around 50 percent of GDP.
Key aspects of the economy, including taxation, interest rates and, apart from members of the Eurozone, national currencies are not within the EU’s remit.

WASHINGTON — A major Greenland glacier that was one of the fastest shrinking ice and snow masses on Earth is growing again, a new NASA study finds.
The Jakobshavn glacier around 2012 was retreating about 1.8 miles and thinning nearly 130 feet annually. But it started growing again at about the same rate in the past two years, according to a study in Monday’s Nature Geoscience. Study authors and outside scientists think this is temporary.
“That was kind of a surprise. We kind of got used to a runaway system,” said Geological Survey of Denmark and Greenland ice and climate scientist Jason Box. “The good news is that it’s a reminder that it’s not necessarily going that fast. But it is going.”
Box, who wasn’t part of the study, said Jakobshavn is “arguably the most important Greenland glacier because it discharges the most ice in the northern hemisphere. For all of Greenland, it is king.”

BREITBART – Hungary Govt Says Suspected ISIS Beheader Had Pre-Paid Debit Card from EU
The Hungarian government claims a suspected Islamic State terrorist who entered Europe posing as a refugee was in possession of a pre-paid debit card from the European Union, and that the EU has issued 64,000 such cards to migrants.
“A Syrian national by the name of F. Hassan was detained in Budapest by the officers of the Counter-terrorism Centre (TEK) on suspicion of acts of terror, including involvement in explosive attacks and carrying out multiple executions in his homeland in 2016,” reported Dr Zoltán Kovács, Hungary’s Secretary of State for International Communications international spokesman for the Cabinet Office of Prime Minister Viktor Orbán.
“TEK collaborated with Europol and the secret services of several countries to investigate the alleged criminal activities and European network of the Syrian man, who is thought to have been a high-ranking IS leader,” Kovács continued, describing how the asylum seeker had claimed he was working for the Greek security services after being discovered and brought to court.
“[T]his story has a deeply disturbing side,” he went on, claiming that, after initial denials, “the [European] Commission finally admitted that the United Nations and the European Union have been distributing [pre-paid debit] cards to migrants who have reached the territory of the EU” — with some 64,000 of them allegedly distributed to migrants “in January alone”.
“And it gets worse,” Kovács added. “Reports say that [the suggested jihadist] received a monthly payment of 500 EUR on his debit card. That’s well over today’s gross minimum wage in Hungary.”
“The pro-immigration interests in Brussels are going too far. How many European citizens would knowingly support half-baked ideas like distributing to migrants pre-paid debit cards, charged up with EU taxpayer money? Not only will it do nothing to stop migration, but worse, this will put the safety of Europeans at risk,” he blasted.
Claims that the European Union, the United Nations, and billionaire open borders activist George Soros have been distributing anonymous, pre-paid debit cards to migrants, either in concert or through separate initiatives, have been a bone of contention between pro- and anti-mass migration commentators for some time.
Left-leaning fact-checkers such as AfricaCheck, which is part-funded by Soros’s Open Society NGO, have dismissed the claims as false, especially as they pertain to their donor — but the European Commission has now admitted that it uses the money it takes from EU member-states, including the United Kingdom, to fund “a programme run by the UNHCR for pre-paid debit cards for refugees and asylum seekers in Greece.”
The Commission claims the cards are limited to refugees and asylum seekers, not anonymous, and only valid in Greece — but the Hungarians have disputed their version of events.
“The EC… says that ‘there are no anonymous debit cards’. However, they themselves admit that the single form of identification regarding the bank cards is a number,” Kovács wrote in early March.
“Did you get that? While EU nationals are required to abide by strict regulations to hold bank cards, Brussels doesn’t expect the same from migrants whose identities are often impossible to establish,” he complained.
The Hungarian minister also claimed that issuing the cards to refugees and asylum seekers “blurs the lines between refugees and economic migrants.”
“Economic migrants may also submit asylum applications, but submission of an application does not in itself mean that the applicant is a refugee,” he pointed out.
“This not only creates another pull factor, it also raises serious security concerns. The citizens of Europe have a right to know.”

“Political prisoners in Saudi Arabia are said to be suffering from malnutrition, cuts, bruises and burns, according to leaked medical reports that are understood to have been prepared for the country’s ruler, King Salman.
The reports seem to provide the first documented evidence from within the heart of the royal court that political prisoners are facing severe physical abuse, despite the government’s denials that men and women in custody are being tortured.
The Guardian has been told the medical reports will be given to King Salman along with recommendations that are said to include a potential pardon for all the prisoners, or at least early release for those with serious health problems.
These options are part of a substantial internal review said to have been ordered by the king, who approved the commissioning of examinations of up to 60 prisoners, many of them women, for a report to be circulated around the royal court, a source said.
Some of the assessments were leaked to the paper, which asked the Saudi government to comment on the medical reports more than a week ago. A spokesman declined to discuss the issue, despite being given repeated opportunities to do so. Officials did not challenge the authenticity of the reports.
The Guardian has been able independently to verify the accuracy and contents of one of the examinations. The conditions of other individuals, as described in the documents, are consistent with reports that have emerged involving claims of torture.
Pressure on Saudi Arabia over the detention and treatment of political prisoners has been growing in recent months amid claims that some female activists have been subjected to electric shocks and lashings in custody.
With the kingdom also reeling from the aftermath of the murder of the dissident journalist Jamal Khashoggi, King Salman is said to have ordered a review of the decision to arrest and detain about 200 men and women in a crackdown ordered by his heir, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
According to a source with knowledge of the review, the royal court set aside objections from Prince Mohammed’s aides and sought brief medical examinations on a number of detainees to get a snapshot of their health.
The men believed to have been examined include Adel Ahmad Banaemah, Mohammed Saud Al Bisher, Fahad Abdullaziz Al-Sunaidi, Zuhair Kutbi, Abdullaziz Fawzan al-Fawzan and Yasser Abdullah al-Ayyaf.
The women include Samar Mohammad Badawi, Hatoon Ajwad al-Fassi and Abeer Adbdullatif Al Namankany.
The examinations took place in January and the medical reports, which are marked confidential, have been included in a detailed overview that includes three broad recommendations to the king about what to do next.
According to the medical reports, the comments about the detainees suggest many have been severely ill-treated and have a range of health problems.
In almost all cases, the reports demanded the prisoners be urgently transferred from solitary confinement to a medical centre.
The remarks on detainees include:
“The patient suffers from severe weight loss with continuous bloody vomiting. There are also a number of wounds and bruises scattered in several areas of the body”
“There are also a number of visible injuries in the chest and lower back”
“The patient must be transferred from solitary confinement to the specialized clinic for immediate treatment and further medical examinations”
“The patient has difficulty walking because of a number of bruises visible on the legs area. A number of injuries are also visible on the forearm and lower back area. Malnutrition and obvious dryness on the skin”
“The patient suffers from a number of bruises visible on the body, especially in the areas of back, abdomen and thighs. It also appears to be malnourished due to lack of eating and facial pallor and general weakness in the body”
“The patient cannot move at all due to wounds in both legs as well as severe weakness in the body due to malnutrition and lack of fluids”
“The patient suffers from severe burns throughout the body. Old wounds were not completely healed because of medical negligence”
“The patient suffers from difficulty in movement due to severe malnutrition and general lack of fluids. There are also a number of bruises, wounds and sores throughout the body”
The recommendations from some advisers to the king include a pardon for all political prisoners, the release of individuals jailed from 2017, and the release of prisoners deemed to have health problems.
On Thursday, Saudi Arabia released pending a full trial three women, believed to be Aziza al-Youssef, Eman Al Nafjan, and Dr Rokaya Mohareb.
The British paper approached Saudi authorities on 21 March for comment. A spokesman said he would respond, but has not provided a comment.
In previous media reports, a spokesman for the Saudi embassy in Washington said the kingdom had signed the convention against torture and prohibits its use. He said Saudi Arabia “takes any and all allegations of ill-treatment of defendants awaiting trial or prisoners serving their sentences very seriously”.
The daily was warned by several human rights experts during the course of its reporting that trying to contact family members of people in detention would pose serious risks to the family members living in Saudi Arabia. Rights organizations and activists who track detentions confirmed the nine individuals named in the medical reports were in custody in January.
The reasons for their arrests vary, and in some cases, their alleged offenses have not been published.
Human Rights Watch called for Saudi Arabia to “immediately release all jailed human rights activists and peaceful dissidents, and invite international monitors to conduct a comprehensive and transparent investigation into their treatment”.
A spokesperson added: “Saudi detainees including women activists have alleged that authorities mistreated them with unspeakable cruelty, including electric shocks, whippings and sexual harassment, and new revelations of medical reports appear to confirm what they have said for months.”
One rights activist, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, said the descriptions contained in the reports, including that individuals were being held in solitary confinement, were consistent with evidence that had been collected by activists.
The person said the only way to verify the reports fully would be to give independent monitors access to the individuals who had been identified and make their assessments public.
The activist said female prisoners had been electrocuted, tied to chairs and beaten around their thighs, backs and buttocks with an agal, a cord that men use to keep their headdresses in place.

“A mob of around twenty migrants in an asylum reception centre in Spain are said to have brutally beaten two security guards with sticks and rocks while threatening to kill them.
The attack occurred at a reception centre for unaccompanied underage migrants in Hortaleza, a district of the Spanish capital of Madrid. The violence occurred after the two guards refused to allow two “troubled boys” access to other areas of the building, El Mundo reports.
The two males then proceeded to attempt to force their way through the guards and used their feet and fists to start beating them. The guards chased after the males after they managed to get by them, and were then attacked again.
Another guard arrived to see the pair being viciously beaten by around twenty migrant youths. Another sixty or more were prevented from joining the attack.
The two original migrants then armed themselves with rocks and sticks and threatened to kill both of the guards, making gestures of cutting their necks.
Two of the three guards were sent to local hospitals, one with injuries to his face and torso and the other for injuries to his finger and neck.
The incident is not the first case of violence in one of the centres for migrants claiming to be underage. Earlier this week, the SATSE Madrid Nursing Union requested additional security measures following an attack at the same centre.
“It is no longer time for good words or to pass the ball between the different regional or national administrations, this problem must be solved, since we cannot allow acts like this to happen again,” the union said.
Incidents of violence directed toward staff at asylum homes and reception centres have been prevalent since the height of the migrant crisis in 2015.
One of the most well-known cases occurred in 2016 in Sweden, when a Somalian migrant pretending to be underage stabbed worker Alexandra Mezher to death.
Earlier this year in the German town of Guben, a 20-year-old Syrian asylum seeker went on a rampage, going after employees of an asylum home armed with a hatchet.”
