Trudeau government unravels due to principle, corruption with migrants, the usual: Links 1, March 4, 19

1. Trudeau Government In Total Chaos, Jane Philpott Resigns From Cabinet Saying “I Must Abide By My Core Values”.

(This situation reminds me of how I suspect it all went with Henry VIII who appointed a college drinking buddy to be Archbishop of Canterbury, never thinking for a moment that he would take the job seriously. Trudeau, who must have been sure he picked a bunch of people who would be compliant ‘yes men’ based on outwardly identity politics and inwardly people he figured would be too grateful to ask too many questions, seems not to have worked as planned.)

President of the Treasury Board and former Health and Indigenous Services Jane Philpott, one of the most highly-respect members of the federal cabinet, has resigned.

Philpott had been expressing support for her former cabinet colleague Jody Wilson-Raybould, and her resignation has thrown the Trudeau cabinet into total chaos.

Here’s what Philpott said in a statement:

2. Giorgia Meloni at CPAC this week (English)

3. Tweet by doctor who processes migrants in Athens. (Click translate tweet)

4. Another cabinet member surprises Trudeau by having principles.

5. “A person can renounce their US citizenship by their words and their actions”. And if people who leave the US to join an enemy army, burn their US passport, renounce their citizenship, swear to destroy the US hasn’t renounced their US citizenship, then the US has lost too much respect for itself to care.

Thank you all who contributed today.

More to come. It will be a slim fe days but please keep the Contributor’s Links as great as always. There are some matters that are keeping me busier than even usual for a few days.

  1. 5 – The only way she should be allowed back into the states is in handcuffs to stand trial for giving aid and comfort to the enemy during times of conflict. The penalties for this crime are either life in the pen with no parole or death.

  2. People who joined ISIS had all seen the propaganda videos and all knew that ISIS committed horrendous crimes against humanity on a regular basis, so there is no, “I was just following orders” defense possible. They all eagerly jumped at the chance to commit crimes against humanity. They are all serial killers – every last cursed one of them. Anybody who joined ISIS should be marched up the thirteen stairs, blindfolded, and then hanged by the neck until they are dead, then their mothers should be charged for the price of the rope.
Crimes against humanity must not be allowed to go unanswered. Meathooks, not French Villas…!

  3. _Pay_ the Kurds the costs of keeping this Western rubbish in their bin!
They’re dealing with huge numbers of DPs, trying to identify remains in mass graves, caring for the injured. And war isn’t over for them!

When PTrump visited Iraq, he saw the burden these jihadi tourists and their brats are for the Kurds. He asked for repatriation to alleviate the strain, that’s all.

I like Chris’s idea better: rope, meathooks.
