Just one of the things that makes America one of the greatest nations to have ever blessed this planet, is the peaceful transition of power according to the honest will of the people every couple of years.

I would like to take this opportunity to to wish for my fellow patriots and all who live in the United States, and all who live in Canada and other western nations who, for one reason or another, have taken it upon themselves to find the outcome of tomorrow’s election in the US to be of great personal importance, to honour the Western tradition of a peaceful transition of power with the understanding that all things being equal. whoever wins gets a 2 year shot at power, and if they do a bad job, will answer for it at the next opportunity.

I think I know how it will work out but so does everyone else. And at least half of us will be wrong, and many of us will be profoundly disappointed.

But those who are elected must get a shot at power, and fairly.

They will be elected to do a job and they must do it within the confines of the US constitution. Should they go outside those guidelines, the situation changes. But till then, showing the world that the US still has the metal to accept democratic choice, that would be a great sign for the future of the West.

  1. Caravan Jihad?
Jihadis among the migrant caravan is not as ridiculous as CNN would have you believe.
    October 24, 2018
    Robert Spencer

CNN on Monday once again posed as the intrepid and impartial fact checker, correcting the falsehoods spread by our ridiculous and hateful President, with the headline: “Trump seizes on right-wing media reports to suggest migrant caravan has been infiltrated by ‘unknown Middle Easterners.’” And as usual, the President is in reality far closer to the mark than CNN ever is. CNN has once again proven itself to be, as Trump has so aptly and indelibly put it, very fake news.

CNN noted that “In a tweet, the President warned that ‘criminals and unknown Middle Easterners are mixed in’ the caravan of thousands of Central American migrants fleeing poverty and violence.” Note CNN’s thumb on the scale in its framing of the story: the hordes advancing toward the border are “Central American migrants fleeing poverty and violence,” not “A large cadre of military-age males being transported to the American border to flout immigration laws and create provocations designed to discredit Trump before the midterm elections.”

After that bit of legerdemain, CNN informs the Leftist marks who still take it seriously that Trump is, as expected, all wrong and going off half-cocked yet again: “The President did not support his claim with any evidence. Sarah Sanders, the White House press secretary, told reporters on Monday afternoon that Trump ‘absolutely’ had evidence to indicate there are Middle Easterners in the caravan. Sanders, however, did not provide specific information on the matter and it was still not clear what evidence Trump had to indicate the presence of such individuals in the caravan.”

October 1. So-called “cutters” are being flown into Britain to perform female genital mutilation (FGM) on young girls, according to The Independent. “The practicing community talk together, saying, ‘My girl needs to be cut,’ and pay the cutters to come into the UK and cut the girls here,” said Hoda Ali, an FGM activist who works in West London. She added: “The reality is we need to open our eyes. We don’t need to think just about faraway countries because right now we have girls who are in their late teens or even early twenties who were cut in this country. They are British girls who were born here and they were cut here.”

October 2. Women and girls who are coerced into marriage by their families will be allowed to give evidence in secret so they can object to their foreign spouses’ visas without fear of repercussions, according to legal changes announced by Home Secretary Sajid Javid. The changes come two months after The Times revealed that the Home Office was issuing visas to known abusers in forced marriage cases.

October 3. Zakaria Mohammed, a 21-year-old drug dealer from Aston, Birmingham, was sentenced to 14 years in prison after admitting to charges of modern slavery. Mohammed groomed his victims — a 14-year-old girl and two runaway 15-year-old boys — before making them sell class-A drugs from squalid flats a hundred miles from their homes. The teens, who were transported from Birmingham to Lincoln to work as “expendable workhorses” in drug dens, were found by police in a drug-infested apartment in Lincoln. The Telegraph reported it was the first time in British legal history that a drug-dealer has been convicted for breaching the Modern Slavery Act by trafficking children.

Germany: Merkel Throws in the Towel

    by Stefan Frank
    November 6, 2018 at 4:00 am

German Chancellor Angela Merkel on October 29, 2018, announced her resignation, a day after her party, the Christian Democrats (CDU), suffered yet another crushing election defeat. Merkel said she would step down as leader of her party in December and would not seek re-election in 2021.

In the state election in Hesse, Germany’s two biggest parties received their worst results in more than half a century. The CDU dropped from 38% to 27%, the Social-Democrats (SPD) from 30% to less than 20%. Both parties continue a losing streak that shows no sign of reversal. Rather, the downturn seems to be accelerating. In last year’s general elections, Merkel’s party and its ally, the Social Democrats, recorded their worst results up to then in the history of the Federal Republic of Germany. Throughout much of Germany’s postwar history, the CDU and SPD each used to achieve about 40% of the votes. In last autumn’s general elections, the CDU and SPD combined barely managed to surpass the 50% threshold to form a government. Recent polls see them combined at barely 40% (24% for the CDU and 15% for the SPD).

“The time has come to open a new chapter,” Merkel said. In a letter to the party, Merkel admitted mistakes that her government may have made “in recent weeks and months”. According to Merkel, the voters did not acknowledge the current government’s “decent” achievements due to the latter’s wrong “work culture” that “doesn’t meet” Merkel’s “personal standards” — apparently referring to the public feud between her and the CDU’s Bavarian sister-party CSU over immigration policy.

In a video posted on the group’s Facebook page on Saturday, members of the group can be seen marching through the West End neighborhood of Atlanta in support of Abrams’s gubernatorial campaign. As they march, they carry assault rifles and continually shout slogans such as “black power” and “power to the people.” The video shows the members marching for nearly 30 minutes until they enter a local radio station.

  10. Can Organized Jewry in Germany Behave “Normally?”

BESA Center Perspectives Paper No. 998, November 6, 2018

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: Recently, about 20 Jews created a Jewish section in Germany’s right-wing populist and anti-Islam AfD party, prompting a dramatic reaction among the German Jewish community. Seventeen Jewish organizations came out against the Jewish AfD group. Yet the greatest threat to the Jewish community’s future in the country resides not with AfD but with the mainstream parties, the CDU and the SPD. Their joint governments have let in millions of immigrants, many of whom are anti-Semitic Muslims.

Jews fulfill many functions and roles in European societies. For many centuries they served as scapegoats for majority populations, and anti-Semitism has long been an integral part of European culture. The Jews’ symbolic role as quintessential stranger has declined since the massive influx of Arabs and Africans into Europe, as has their characterization as somehow “exotic.”

Jews are often early indicators of societal problems. Regular verbal and physical attacks on Jews by Muslims have drawn attention to several of the many problems brought into Europe by significant segments of these immigrant groups. In the wake of the Holocaust, new roles have emerged. These include the Jew as the typical victim and Jews as the benchmark of society’s morality on some issues.

  11. 19-year-old Muslim migrant ‘RAPES TEACHER at Swedish high school after threatening to kidnap her family if she did not have sex with him’

Of course, his devout family defended the 19-year-old rapist, claiming that the rape “may have been a misunderstanding between her and him.” Yes she obviously hadn’t read the Quran — the seizure of Infidel girls and their use as sex slaves is sanctioned in the Qur’an. According to Islamic law, Muslim men can take “captives of the right hand” (Qur’an 4:3, 4:24, 33:50). The Qur’an says: “O Prophet! Lo! We have made lawful unto thee thy wives unto whom thou hast paid their dowries, and those whom thy right hand possesseth of those whom Allah hath given thee as spoils of war” (33:50). 4:3 and 4:24 extend this privilege to Muslim men in general. The Qur’an says that a man may have sex with his wives and with these slave girls: “The believers must (eventually) win through, those who humble themselves in their prayers; who avoid vain talk; who are active in deeds of charity; who abstain from sex, except with those joined to them in the marriage bond, or (the captives) whom their right hands possess, for (in their case) they are free from blame.” (Qur’an 23:1-6)

FBI clears Michael Flynn in probe linking him to Russia

The FBI has reviewed intercepted phone calls between national security adviser Michael Flynn and the Russian ambassador to the US and has found no evidence of wrongdoing, it was revealed Monday.

The calls were made in late December and picked up as part of routine electronic surveillance of Russian officials. They did not reveal any illicit ties between Flynn and Russia, according to the Washington Post.

The review of the calls was part of a wider probe into Russia’s interference in the presidential election and hacking of the Democratic National Committee.

From Russian Twitter bot armies to your everyday “cat fishing” scheme, the internet itself can be a scary and dangerous place.

In this exclusive interview with The New American, Representative Matt Shea exposed the emergence of Marxist and Islamist “counter states” in the United States. Both operations are working to bring down America, freedom, and Christian civilization. Rep. Shea, who leads the GOP Caucus in the Washington House of Represenatives, praised The New American as the “premier intelligence digest in America.” He even uses it in committee hearings to question witnesses, he said. Finally, the lawmaker and liberty movement leader called on Americans to reclaim their heritage as a Christian nation.

  17. I am going to sign off for the night and get depressed by watching the libs at FOX chuckle about the Repubs losing, hope most of their calls for the Dems are wrong.

        • I have a long day tomorrow so I am going to bed early but first some impressions of what I see happening in the election. FOX is saying that the Repubs gain seats in the Senate but lose the House. The lose in the house isn’t assured and if we do lose it it won’t be by many seats.

What I am seeing is the Repubs who are winning are those who support Trump and those who are losing are the moderates who ran away from Trump. If we lose the House it means two years of radical leftists in the House trying to re-establish the Obama socialist government and the Senate voting to tear down more of the Obama legacy. Under normal conditions I would be happy with a government that can’t get together to do much but this isn’t normal times so we are going to have major problems on the Border with the Dems trying to let everyone who wants to come in come in.

While the loss of the House (and it may not happen, we only have projections now so reality may be different) is going to hurt us in the short run it will probably help in the long run because the elected officials are all supporting Trump. The Repubs are officially the party of Trump and if anyone wants to run as a Repub they will have to fall in line and campaign on the things Trump consideres important.

Keeping control of the Senate means that we will get more conservative strict constructionist Judges possibly including one or two more seats on the Supreme Court. Never underestimate the effect these Judges will have on the direction the nation will go or on how the conservative Judges can help reduce the size of government.

It looks like the Dems are going to pick up a few new Governors so we will face new states with the Congressional Districts shaped so the vast majority of them will be Dem. Trouble but not insurmountable trouble.

This election does mean that Trump will have to use part of the military budget to work on the wall for the next two years but the Caravans and the violence they are bringing will probably help in the 2020 election.

Given what I know of the way the Dem leaders think they are probably going to decide that they lost because of two reasons:
          1) They will say they lost becasue they didn’t go far enough to the left.
          2) They will say they lost because they weren’t violent enough and will turn their militias loose to raise hell.
They are going to try and replay the 1960s and 1970s with the far left winning the fight this time. The violence won’t build quickly but over the next months it will grow in intensity and part of this will be to attack Repub supporters and put them in the hospital. They will also go after Repub politicians and talking heads. Remember the groups on Twitter and Facebook who were openly talking about targeted assassinations.

Granted I look at worse case scenarios and tend to think that events will move faster then they do, if I am wrong about anything it is how fast the events will occur.

  18. US cuts trade ties with Mauritania over ‘slavery’ claims (memo, Nov 6, 2018)

“US President Donald Trump will end Mauritania’s trade benefits under the African Growth and Opportunity Act (AGOA) at the start of next year, the US trade representative’s office has announced.

The measure comes as pressure mounts on Mauritania to abolish slavery. In January, the African Union ruled that Mauritania has not adequately enforced its anti-slavery laws and also hands out lenient sentences to slave owners.

The African Growth and Opportunity Act (AGOA) allows duty-free trade for certain goods.

The said that “The American decision to prevent our country from the advantages of AGOA is trivial and meaningless.”

“We are the government that fought slavery with its own efforts without the slightest American support,” said the Mauritanian Minister of Culture and government spokesman Sidi Mohamed Ould Mohamed yesterday.

“When was the US administration interested in fighting slavery even within America itself?” he went on to ask.

“Would Trump have taken this decision if he had expected a deal of $110 billion?” he added, in reference to America’s refusal to severe trade ties with Saudi Arabia in spite of the killing of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi in the kingdom’s consulate in Istanbul, Turkey, on 2 October.”

  19. Soldier who joined militants killed in security raid (gulfnews, Nov 6, 2018)

“Two militants, including a deserter from the Indian army who had later joined militant outfit Hizbul Mujahideen (HM), were on Tuesday killed in an encounter with security forces in Jammu & Kashmir’s Shopian district.

The deserter Idrees Sultan, also known as Chota Abrar, was a resident of Shopian and had become the poster boy of militancy in Kashmir Valley. He was in his early 20s.

Sultan deserted the Jammu & Kashmir Light Infantry regiment and joined Hizbul Mujahideen in April this year. The other slain militant, Amir Hussain Rather, is also from Shopian.

Three youths from Shopian, including Sultan, had become militants after the April 1 gunfight in the district in which 12 militants and four civilians were killed.

Early on Tuesday morning, security forces launched a pre-dawn cordon and search operation after getting “specific inputs” about the presence of Sultan in Zainapora village in Shopian…”

  20. ‘Help me, I’m innocent’: Aafia Siddiqui’s plea to PM Imran (tribune, Nov 7, 2018)

“Dr Aafia Siddiqui has penned a letter addressed to Prime Minister Imran Khan pleading her innocence and calling for him to help in her release, Express News reported late Tuesday night.

Siddiqui has been behind bars since 2010 on charges of attempted murder and mounting an assault on US military personnel and is serving an 86-year sentence at the Federal Medical Centre, Carswell, Fort Worth in Texas.

Foreign office sources confirmed that Siddiqui gave the letter to Pakistan’s Consul General in Houston Aisha Farooqui when she had come to visit her at the correctional facility in October. “You [Imran] have always lent your support to my release in the past, You have also always remained by hero,” the letter states.

She adds that she is being held unlawfully in the US, adding that “I was kidnapped and handed over to US authorities”. Siddiqui implores the country’s premier to help in her release.

In the letter, Aafia also cautions Imran to be careful of the ‘hypocrites’ around him. In June this year, a confidential report prepared by Pakistan’s consul general in Houston of her visit to Aafia had claimed that she had been subjected to physical and sexual abuse during her ongoing detention.

Farooqui had visited Aafia at the Federal Medical Center in Carswell, Texas. The report had recommended diplomatic authorities to take up the case at the highest levels to find a way for her repatriation so that she can serve her remaining sentence in Pakistan, where her modesty and privacy would not be interfered with.”

  21. First two Muslim women elected to US Congress (AA, Nov 7, 2018)

“Michigan’s Rashida Tlaib and Minnesota’s Ilhan Omar both made history Tuesday by winning their elections and becoming the first Muslim women to be elected to the U.S. Congress.

Tlaib won the congressional seat for Michigan’s 13th district after former Representative John Conyers abruptly stepped down following sexual harassment allegations, leaving the seat vacant.

The Palestinian-American Muslim ran under the Democratic Party, having previously served six years in the state legislature.

With no Republican opponent, Tlaib defeated Etta Wilcoxon of the Green Party and Sam Johnson of the Working Class Party.

“Why am I running? Because this is about electing the jury to impeach @POTUS and I will make a heck of juror,” Tlaib said in a tweet aimed at U.S. President Donald Trump…”

  22. Court upholds guilty verdict for Swiss border guard who failed to help pregnant refugee (thelocal, Nov 6, 2018)

“An appeals court has upheld the guilty verdict of a Swiss border guard who was found guilty in 2017 of causing bodily harm through negligence, attempting to terminate a pregnancy and repeatedly failing in his duties.

On Tuesday afternoon, the military appeals court in Zurich agreed with a Bern military court verdict of last year for the 58-year-old border guard, Swiss news agency SDA reported.

However, the appeals court rejected military prosecutors’ calls for the sergeant to be found guilty of attempted murder. The court also found no evidence the border guard had attempted to terminate a pregnancy.

The border guard’s sentence was also reduced with the military appeals court dropping a suspended sentence of seven months.

However, a suspended fine handed down by the military court last year was increased from 9,000 Swiss francs (€7,850) to €22,000 francs.

The case dates back to July 2014 when a group of Syrian refugees were attempting to travel to France from Italy on a train through Switzerland.

Among the group was a 22-year-old woman who was seven months pregnant and accompanied by her husband and two-year-old son.

After being stopped at a French-Swiss border point, they were loaded into buses by border guards and ordered back to Italy. On the return journey, the woman began to bleed, but despite repeated calls for help, Swiss authorities did not respond, according to the woman’s husband.

He claimed they and their two-year-old son were then detained in a “cell” at Brig station for four hours with no medical assistance, Swiss media reported at the time.

They were subsequently put on a train from Brig to the Italian border town of Domodossola, where the woman was hospitalized, but her baby was later stillborn.

Military prosecutors had initially called for the border guard to be sentenced to seven years in prison while the defence team asked for all charges to be dropped.”
