  1. Duterte OKs bill creating Muslim autonomous region in south (abcnews, Jul 27, 2018)
    https://abcnews.go.com/International/wireStory/philippine-officials-duterte-oks-muslim-rebel-autonomy-deal-56839823

“Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte has signed legislation creating a new Muslim autonomous region aimed at settling nearly half a century of Muslim unrest in the south, where troops crushed an attempt last year by Islamic State group-linked militants to turn a city into a stronghold.

Presidential spokesman Harry Roque and another key aide, Bong Go, told reporters without elaborating late Thursday that Duterte signed the bill creating the region, to be called Bangsamoro. The autonomy deal, which has been negotiated for more than two decades under four presidents, was ratified earlier this week by both chambers of Congress.

“This is to announce that the president has just signed the BOL into law,” Roque said in a cellphone message, referring to the Bangsamoro organic law.

It’s the latest significant attempt by the government to end Muslim fighting that has left more than 120,000 people dead and hampered development in the country’s most destitute regions. The deal was negotiated with the Moro Islamic Liberation Front, the largest Muslim rebel group in the south, although about half a dozen smaller IS-linked radical groups remain a threat in the region, the homeland of minority Muslims in the largely Roman Catholic nation.

Al Haj Murad Ebrahim, chairman of the Moro rebel front, told a news conference Tuesday that 30,000 to 40,000 armed fighters would be “decommissioned” if the autonomy deal is fully enforced. The disarming would be done in batches based on compliance with the accord, with the final 40 percent of the guerrillas turning over their weapons once there is full compliance.

Murad added that six of the largest guerrilla camps in the south were already being converted into “productive civilian communities” to help the insurgents return to normal life.

Murad appealed to the international community to contribute to a trust fund to be used to finance the insurgents’ transition from decades of waging one of Asia’s longest rebellions.

“We will decommission our forces, the entire forces,” Murad said. He declined to immediately cite the number of weapons that “will be put beyond use.”

The military has estimated the Moro rebel group’s size at a much lower 11,000 fighters.

The Bangsamoro replaces an existing poverty- and conflict-wracked autonomous region and is to be larger, better-funded and more powerful. An annual grant, estimated at 60 billion to 70 billion pesos ($1.1 billion to $1.3 billion), is to be set aside to bolster development in the new region.

Murad’s guerrilla force is the second in the south to drop a demand for a separate Muslim state in exchange for autonomy. The Moro National Liberation Front forged a 1996 peace deal with the government that led to the current five-province Muslim autonomous region, which has largely been regarded as a failure.

Western governments have welcomed the autonomy pacts. They worry that small numbers of Islamic State group-linked militants from the Middle East and Southeast Asia could forge an alliance with Filipino insurgents and turn the south into a breeding ground for extremists.

Murad said it’s crucial for the peace agreement to be fully enforced, citing how earlier failed attempts prompted some guerrillas to break away and form more hard-line groups like the Abu Sayyaf, a brutal group listed by the United States and the Philippines as a terrorist organization.

Hundreds of militants, including those who broke off from Murad’s force, were among black flag-waving fighters who swore allegiance to the Islamic State group and laid siege to the southern Islamic city of Marawi last year. Troops backed by U.S. and Australian surveillance aircraft routed the militants after five months of airstrikes and ground assaults that left more than 1,200 people, mostly Islamic fighters, dead and the mosque-studded city in ruins.

“We can roughly conclude that all these splinter groups are a result of the frustration with the peace process,” Murad said.”

  2. Italy Slashes Asylum Seeker Benefit Payments (breitbart, Jul 27, 2018)
    https://www.breitbart.com/london/2018/07/27/salvini-orders-asylum-seeker-benefits-greatly-reduced/

“Populist Italian Interior Minister Matteo Salvini has ordered that benefits for asylum seekers be substantially reduced, saying the money saved will be given to police working overtime shifts instead.

The new policy will greatly reduce the amount of money asylum seekers receive but will also limit access to integration courses for those who have been approved for a residency permit, Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung reports.

“More controls and less spending. In the area of immigration, things are finally changing, as promised,” Salvini, who leads the populist League, said.

Currently, migrants receive between 35 to 45 euros per day from Italian taxpayers but Salvini’s new policy will see that amount reduced to around 20 euros per day, with migrants costing taxpayers a total of three billion euros per year.

Salvini also met Rome’s Five Star Movement (M5S) Mayor Virginia Raggi on Wednesday to discuss the issue of illegal Roma squatter camps in the Italian capital pledging to close the camps and return the public space back to the citizens of the city…”

  4. New EU Commission Needed With New Approach to Migration Policy – Hungarian PM (sputniknews, Jul 27, 2018)
    https://sputniknews.com/europe/201807271066725503-orban-new-eu-commission-new-migration-policy/

“Earlier, Hungary’s government warned of the possible consequences of immigration to Europe and continues to oppose Brussels’ migrant policy.

Hungary’s Prime Minister Viktor Orban spoke on the radio about the fact that a new European Commission is needed that will develop a new migration policy.

“We need a new Commission… with a new approach,” Orban told state radio.

Viktor Orban’s tough line towards migrants since the refugee crisis erupted in Europe in 2015 has caused a serious rift with Brussels over compulsory EU quotas for asylum seekers that member-states are required to accept.

After hundreds of thousands of migrants entered Hungary, Budapest built a border fence along its southern frontier to stop the influx.

Harsh anti-immigration measures were a major part of Viktor Orban’s election campaign and remain one of the main topics in his current political agenda.

European Parliamentary elections will be held next year.”

  6. Girl in Sweden Threatened with Rape Because She Was Not ‘Muslim Enough’ (breitbart, Jul 27, 2018)
    https://www.breitbart.com/london/2018/07/27/girl-sweden-threatened-rape-because-she-was-not-muslim-enough/

“A young girl who had her trousers pulled down and threatened with rape at a school in the heavily migrant-populated Swedish city of Malmö has received a £1,700 settlement from the city over their handling of the case.

The incident, which occurred in a Malmö public school in 2016, saw the unnamed girl sexually harassed by young male students who claimed she was not “Muslim enough”, Swedish broadcaster SVT reports.

The bullying became known after parents of students had informed Swedish newspaper Sydsvenskan that their children were facing sexual harassment and abuse in the Autumn of 2016.

“Boys threaten to rape her. Call her a whore. Ask what religion she is. They don’t think she’s Muslim enough,” the father of the young girl said.

Despite the complaints, no charges of sexual harassment were filed by the school which did not consider that the girl had actually been sexually harassed or abused.

The matter was investigated by the municipality, but shortcomings were found in the way the matter was looked at by the municipal Discrimination Ombudsman. The NGO Malmö Against Discrimination forced officials to admit it had not handled the case properly and the city paid out 20,000 Swedish Kronor (£1,700) in compensation.”

    • I hate to say this but a very large portion of what he is saying is correct, we are being forced back into racial tribalism and the real racists are going to come out of the shadows and they will be increasingly accepted. For one thing the over use of the charge of racist has immunized the west to that charge and it has lost most of its sting. For another some on our side are going to start saying that they have the name so they might as well have the game. The left (possibly deliberately) are creating the society that they claim to be fighting against. The reason I say it is possibly deliberately is that in a society of individualists their political message won’t sell itself to many voters but in a tribal society they can play divide and conquer with their identity politics. The problem for their side is that as they push the majority groups into the opposing political camps they face the problem of finding enough votes to win enough elections to have any power. Their solution to this problem is to try and create a straw man of white racism to fight against, but as they keep screaming white racism they push more people into that category.

      • All true. Even the public schools are teaching our kids to dislike the color of their White skin.

The ”White Privilege” discourse, I can’t handle it anymore especially that Whites are getting the short end of the stick to satisfy diversity criterion while competency is ignored.

        • This is what the real racists will use to gain recruits and power, it is going to be hard to balance the need for the whites to fight back against the whites become true racists and oppressing the other races. This is one reason the coming wars will be so long and so bloody.

          • It’s happening. Be on the alert for faltering canaries. That should sound a shriek alarm for everyone else.

            • Yes it is happening, so far the real racists are flocking to the left and not the right but that may change. What is more likely is that the left will throw off their pretense of hating racism and come out in favor of racism. This won’t happen quickly but as they start losing the war they will try to draw in more Whites and they think that will require racism.

  8. Donald Trump could be ready to order a strike against Iran, Australian Government figures say
Exclusive by political editor Andrew Probyn and defence reporter Andrew Greene

Senior figures in the Turnbull Government have told the ABC they believe the United States is prepared to bomb Iran’s nuclear facilities, perhaps as early as next month, and that Australia is poised to help identify possible targets.

It comes amid intense sabre-rattling by US President Donald Trump and his Iranian counterpart Hassan Rouhani.

The ABC has been told Australian defence facilities would likely play a role in identifying targets in Iran, as would British intelligence agencies.

But a senior security source emphasised there was a big difference between providing accurate intelligence and analysis on Iran’s facilities and being part of a “kinetic” mission.

“Developing a picture is very different to actually participating in a strike,” the source said.

“Providing intelligence and understanding as to what is happening on the ground so that the Government and allied governments are fully informed to make decisions is different to active targeting.”

Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull said this morning he had no reason to believe the US was preparing for a military confrontation.

    http://www.abc.net.au/news/2018-07-27/donald-trump-may-be-prepared-to-strike-iran-sources-say/10037728

    • Baring a more overt threat (attacking US or neutral nations ships) I doubt if we are going to bomb anytime soon. This isn’t the Clinton administration I doubt Trump is going to wag the dog like Clinton did.

    • Developing a picture is very different to actually participating in a strike,” the source said.

Try telling that to someone who’d gleefully kill young Israeli children as part of preventing them to become IDF recruits…

  9. America’s Adversaries Are Weaponizing Information, NSA Director Warns
U.S. needs a whole-of-government effort to counter foreign influence and cyber attacks

Foreign adversaries have stepped up the use of information warfare to control populations since 2011 and the operations are one of the new threats in the digital age, according to the director of the National Security Agency.

Army Gen. Paul Nakasone, who heads both NSA and Cyber Command, said in remarks last week that both the military and the nation as a whole are taking steps to counter foreign information warfare and to use information operations against adversaries.

The Arab Spring uprisings that began in April 2011 were fueled by social media and the internet and led to the unseating of several governments throughout the Middle East and North Africa.

“We looked at this as an indicator of how powerful a free and open internet can be in the world, and we looked at this from that lens,” Nakasone said in remarks to a security conference in Aspen, Colorado.

    • America’s Adversaries Are Weaponizing Information…

I regret to inform readers that this is old news…

From: A Look Back … George Washington: America’s First Military Intelligence Director

George Washington – who some call the “First DCI” (Director of Central Intelligence) – was a key practitioner of military intelligence during the Revolutionary War more than 230 years ago. In fact, General Washington was more deeply involved in intelligence operations than any American general-in-chief until Dwight Eisenhower during World War II. His skills in the “black arts” helped secure key victories, hastened the end of hostilities, and significantly contributed to the United States’ winning its independence from Great Britain.

      Manager of Military Intelligence

George Washington was a skilled military intelligence manager. He recruited and debriefed Tory and Patriot sources, developed espionage networks, interrogated prisoners and travelers, cleverly used deception and propaganda, and practiced sound tradecraft. He recognized the need for multiple sources so reports could be crosschecked, and so the compromise of one asset would not cut off intelligence from an important area.

During the war, he spent more than 10 percent of his military funds on intelligence operations. Military setbacks around New York early in the war convinced Washington that he needed an elite detachment dedicated to tactical reconnaissance that reported directly to him.

“Those who cannot learn from history …” plus all that stuff and nonsense.

      • If you don’t know where you have been how do you know where you are going?

Between the Revolution and WWII the US pretty much went out of the intelligence business, there were spies on both sides in the Civil War from what I have read weren’t that important to any of the victories of either side.

  10. Wisconsin ordered to pay for gender reassignment surgeries

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — A federal judge has ordered Wisconsin to pay for the gender reassignment surgery for two transgender Medicaid recipients.

Cody Flack, 30, and Sara Ann Makenzie, 41, filed a lawsuit in April, saying a state rule denying coverage for surgeries to treat gender dysphoria violates the Affordable Care Act and their right to equal protection, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported. The state rule that excludes coverage for undefined “transsexual surgery” was adopted in 1996.

U.S. District Judge William Conley granted a preliminary injunction Wednesday barring enforcement of the rule. He suggested the injunction could be expanded to include any transgender Medicaid patient whose doctor recommends the surgery.

“The likelihood of ongoing, irreparable harm facing these two individual plaintiffs outweighs any marginal impacts on the defendants’ stated concerns regarding public health or limiting costs,” Conley said in the 39-page order.

  11. Trump thanks Kim as North Korea transfers remains of missing U.S. soldiers

SEOUL/WASHINGTON (Reuters) – North Korea transferred 55 small, flag-draped cases carrying the suspected remains of U.S. soldiers killed in the Korean War on Friday, officials said, a first step in implementing an agreement reached in a landmark summit in June.

The repatriation of the remains missing in the 1950-53 conflict is seen as a modest diplomatic coup for U.S. President Donald Trump as it was one of the agreements reached during his meeting with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un in Singapore aimed primarily at securing the denuclearization of the North.

“After so many years, this will be a great moment for so many families. Thank you to Kim Jong Un,” Trump wrote on Twitter.

A White House statement earlier said: “We are encouraged by North Korea’s actions and the momentum for positive change.”

A U.S. military transport plane flew to an airfield in North Korea’s northeastern city of Wonsan to bring the remains to Osan air base in South Korea, the White House statement said.

Soldiers in dress uniforms with white gloves were seen slowly carrying 55 small cases covered with the blue-and-white U.N. insignia, placing them one by one into silver vans waiting on the tarmac in Osan.

Regardless of whatever “diplomatic coup” this may be, how was it that this particular chip never appeared on the bargaining table until well over a half-century later?

The degree of long-term “diplomatic competence” (an increasingly oxymoronic term) involved comes into question. All POW–MIA families are too well-justified in their outrage at this delinquency.

      • Is there any proof that these remains are those of American service personel? It seems to me that these boxes could contain any old bones that kim could find.

  12. Coming to your border if Dems get their way: 32 million ‘asylum seekers’ from Central America
By Ben Bowles July 27, 2018

As the Trump administration crackdown on illegal border crossers (read: future Democratic voters) has intensified, Democrats in Congress have increasingly become the child in the room. Many have foolishly equated the separation of children from adults (who may or may not be their parent) to the Holocaust, and one Democrat congressman has even called for paying illegals reparations.

With polling showing Democrats surging once again as midterm elections beckon, emboldened lawmakers are looking to overturn an administration policy that has made it tougher for people claiming to seek asylum to enter the country. If passed into law, this legislation would effectively extend the right to migrate to the U.S. to 32 million new Central Americans from Guatemala, Honduras, and El Salvador.

Breitbart’s John Binder has the details:

    https://libertyunyielding.com/2018/07/27/coming-to-your-border-next-if-dems-get-their-way-32-million-asylum-seekers-from-central-america/

    • Coming to your border if Dems get their way: 32 million ‘asylum seekers’ from Central America

  13. Voter registration is the cool new hip activity … for Democrats only
By Myra Adams July 27, 2018

Last week I was ignored. It happened while I was eating an organic salad on the patio outside my local Whole Foods situated in the second largest county in the nation’s most ferocious battleground state.

Why was I ignored by the white middle-aged woman carrying a clipboard wearing a “Register-to-Vote Here” T-shirt who was standing only six feet away?

Was I ignored because I am a white female over age 50? Was I ignored because I was wearing a cross? Those questions swirled around my brain as I observed the clipboard lady ask everyone who walked between us if they would like to register — except me. (At that time all who entered Whole Foods happened to be younger or had darker skin.)

As I was munching my arugula, several times we made eye contact, but she never bothered to ask.

After about 15 minutes, lunch was finished, and the silent political standoff ended. Walking to my car, I assumed that she thought I looked “Republican” and was already registered. Both assumptions would have been correct. However, as an American, I was troubled by her overt partisanship. But honestly, by her looks and hair, I assumed she was a Democrat and must still be lamenting Hillary’s 2016 loss and anticipating Elizabeth Warren in 2020.

    https://libertyunyielding.com/2018/07/27/voter-registration-is-the-cool-new-hip-activity-for-democrats-only/

    • But honestly, by her looks and hair, I assumed she was a Democrat and must still be lamenting Hillary’s 2016 loss and anticipating Elizabeth Warren in 2020.

If disfiguring these slowly coagulating remains is all that the Dems have to offer in 2020, then Trump’s reelection is, literally, ironclad.

As if running Hillary in 2016 wasn’t the Left’s conspicuously desperate “cry for help” (which no Liberal ever will admit without undergoing prolonged torture).

  14. Q: Is it disrespectful to shout questions at the president? A: It depends on who’s president
By Ben Bowles July 26, 2018

The White House is taking fire for banning a CNN reporter from covering the next event. The action was taken after Kaitlan Collins, channeling her CNN colleague Jim Acosta, began shouting out questions to President Trump during a press spray on Wednesday and refused to leave after being repeatedly asked to.

Collins was then informed “she was not welcome to participate in the next event,” press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said in a statement, emphasizing that that another journalist from the network would be permitted to attend.

Among the outlets criticizing the administration for its punitive actions is Fox News, whose Brett Baier weighed in on the kerfuffle on last night’s edition of “Special Report.” Others have followed suit, claiming that when Fox News was in Barack Obama’s cross hairs, other networks — including CNN — came to Fox’s defense.

  15. The triumph of censorship

Yesterday morning, we learned the cancellation of the show Kanata Robert Lepage, and this, just a few weeks after the censorship of his show SLAV.

We can play well with words, but the reality is simple: a frightening climate of censorship is settling in Quebec. It comes from a certain left. Politically correct extends its empire. Already very present in politics and at university, he now reigns in the world of the arts, which one would have preferred to imagine as the last refuge of the freedom of creation and expression.

    minorities

New power struggles are emerging: Radical activist groups, self-proclaimed community representatives, now have the power to cancel a show and set the beacons of freedom of expression when talking about what concerns them.

They may show a racialist fanaticism uninhibited, as we have seen with SLAV, or a honeyed authoritarianism, as was the case with Kanata, but each time, they appear in the manner of moral authorities claiming a veto over the creation of others.
When Sugar Sammy makes his next show, will he have to go to the Saint-Jean-Baptiste Society of Montreal to have his jokes approved?

We are entering a new era. Every real or imagined community makes its desire not to be symbolically struck down as a fundamental right.

In politics, more and more issues are left aside by our elected officials, who do not believe they are able to cope with the media storm. At university, it is now normal to demand the censorship of conferences whose point of view goes against the ideological preferences of far-left groups.

On television, as I wrote in the column the day before yesterday, we can ask for the cancellation of a TV series because we suspect, even before having watched, to wear a vision of the world that displeases us .

How far will we go in this delirium? Censorship came yesterday from the top. Now, it is imposed from below. Worse still: the fear of being labeled racist, xenophobic, sexist or homophobic creates a climate of self-censorship.

Everyone is silent, because everyone feels guarded by zealous ideologues ready to create a scandal and destroy your reputation as soon as something displeases them.

We would like to send a message to our politicians: where are you? What are you going to do if you are not able, in a controversy that touches on the principles of our society, to stand up for them? Where are you when we need you?

    politicians

Politicians are so dominated by the Western bad conscience that they no longer feel able to defend our civilization and are ready to submit as soon as a group claims to have a “minority” identity.

It will be necessary to remind them of their mission: to defend their people. It has long been said that democracy is nothing without respect for minorities. But we went from respect for minorities to the rule of tyrannical minorities. We will have to stand up to them. The people are fed up.

  18. Houthis to Saudi-Led Arab Coalition: ‘From Now On, Your Capitals No Longer Safe’ (sputniknews, Jul 27, 2018)
    https://sputniknews.com/middleeast/201807271066741601-houthi-warning-against-saudi-coalition/

“The Yemeni militia group has stepped up its attacks against Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates this week, targeting Saudi oil infrastructure, Abu Dhabi’s airport, and a Saudi oil tanker off Yemen’s coast amid UN efforts to restart peace talks.

A senior Houthi spokesman told Qatari news channel Al Jazeera that the coalition’s cities would be targeted in retaliation to its ongoing attacks against the war-torn country.

“The Yemeni Army is not after bombarding (other countries), but cannot also sit back. From now on, the capitals of the Arab coalition members will no longer be safe,” Houthi spokesman and negotiator Mohammed Abdelsalam told the broadcaster on Thursday, according to PressTV.

“We will not kill; we will not bombard, but will not also sit idly by,” he added.
The remarks follow an alleged Houthi attack on the international airport in the UAE capital of Abu Dhabi on Thursday. UAE officials denied that the attack took place and said that the airport was continuing operations as normal. Earlier, Yemen’s Al Masirah TV reported that the airport had been attacked by a drone. There have been no reports of damage or casualties, although airport officials did confirm “an incident involving a supply vehicle in Terminal 1.”

Earlier in the week, the Saudi-led coalition said that the Houthis targeted a Saudi oil tanker off its coast, causing “slight damage.” Before that, the militia claimed responsibility for a drone attack on an Aramco refinery in the Saudi capital of Riyadh, which caused a fire in its storage area.

Abdelsalam emphasized that the Houthis were prepared to hammer out peace agreements with other Yemeni groups, including Saudi-backed President Abdrabbuh Mansur Hadi, on the condition that it is done without foreign intervention. Abdelsalam met with Hadi in Muscat, Oman, last month for talks…”

Is it just me or is there a distinct sense of schadenfreude permeating the atmosphere?

      • Read the J.E. Dyer article I posted in the readers links on the 28th. It makes clear that this is probably Iran opening a new front and trying to cause massive disruption of the delivery of oil to Europe. This will make Europe more dependent on Russian oil and offset the loss of money from the LNG contract between the US and the EU. It will also send a lot more Saudi oil to the Far East.

I am not sure why but something tells me that this is more Chinese meddling then Russian but I could be wrong on that.

“Pledging to take in more refugees, three major German cities on Friday called on European authorities to resume sea rescue missions in the Mediterranean.

In an open letter to Chancellor Angela Merkel, the mayors of Bonn, Cologne and Dusseldorf offered to give shelter to some of the refugees saved in sea rescue operations.

“We want to send a signal to humanity, for the right to asylum and for the integration of refugees,” the mayors said.

They urged authorities to immediately resume rescue missions in the Mediterranean and accept refugees rescued in these operations.

The move is meant to convince Italy’s new right-wing government to continue allowing rescue ships to dock at its ports…”

“Tunisia has released a man two weeks after he was deported there from Germany on suspicion of being an Islamist militant who once served as Osama bin Laden’s bodyguard, a judiciary official said on Friday.

Tunis authorities had decided there was not enough evidence to keep holding Sami Aidoudi, but investigations would continue, said Sofian Sliti, spokesman of Tunisia’s anti-terrorist judiciary body.

German opposition and rights groups had criticised the decision to deport Aidoudi, saying he could face torture in his home country and citing a court decision that he should stay…”

  21. Ridicule, Not Reasoned Debate, Is the Best Medicine for Political Cults
Time to take off the gloves.
    July 27, 2018
    Bruce Thornton

U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley recently told a high school audience that conservatives shouldn’t delight in “owning the libs” –– i.e. triggering a progressive into a hysterical response that you proceed to make fun of. Instead, we should be “persuading” progs with reasoned argument and “bringing people around to your point of view,” as Haley said.

In that way, we make a convert rather than energize partisans into clinging more tightly to their beliefs and voting to empower them.

Having spent more than 40 years in the incubators of today’s leftist nonsense, universities, I am skeptical about the power of reasoned argument among today’s ill-educated students. Most of their teachers, like most progressives, are pretty much immune to reason, evidence, and coherent argument, little of which makes it into their courses. As the old gag goes, arguing with a leftist is like playing chess with a pigeon: It knocks over the pieces, craps on the board, then struts around like it won the game. Reasoned argument cuts no ice when confronted with the irrational caprices and gratifying passions of human beings.

In fact, the assumption behind Haley’s plea is the old Socratic one that virtue is knowledge, that if one knows the good, one will do the good––one of the foundational bad ideas of modernity. When people believe wrong or dangerous ideas, the paradigm goes, that’s because they’re deficient in knowledge. They just need to be better informed of the facts, and better trained to spot incoherent and fallacious arguments.

    • When people believe wrong or dangerous ideas, the paradigm goes, that’s because they’re deficient in knowledge. They just need to be better informed of the facts, and better trained to spot incoherent and fallacious arguments.

Such, once acceptable, arguments have worn more-than-a-little thin in this Internet age. WILLFUL IGNORANCE, one of history’s most prodigious evils, has taken the helm. Until right-thinking people remedy this psychosocial malignancy … expect the VERY worst.

      • She’s wrong, he’s right.
        Take it from Alinsky:
        • Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon.
There is no defense. It’s irrational. It’s infuriating. It also works as a key pressure point to force the enemy into concessions.

  22. I was approached today, or rather lept at, by a Pakistani muslim in a less-than 30% indigenous-White neighborhood, asking for money. He told me he needed the equivalent of $50 to buy something as he was insulin diabetic, (he produced an empty diabetic pen), showed me his free disabled travel pass, and repeating in a pleading voice that he needed this set amount of money. I informed him politely that I did not give out cash but would buy food. (This has benefitted me, in that sitting with them over a sandwich and coffee I hear their real story and then decide to give money or not – and the only one who ever came to share a meal with me that was honest enough to support to his misadventure I quite by accident bumped into a year later – he saw and shouted over to me – and there and then paid me back in full).

So, here I am listening to a grafter who took me for a fool. He tells me he has mental problems, and I start thinking, is he ripe enough for Jihad? And then he says, ‘whatever your religion you are, Christian or other, you will be paid back moreso!’
I said, ‘hold on, are you saying if I give to you, my God will give to me?’
    He said, “Yes!”
I replied, “that is the most wicked thing I ever heard,’ and promptly walked off. The look on his face was one of Muhammad being rumbled.

Moral of the story: Do not ever live or work around muslims. The more dependent in dhimmitude you will never find.

    • Halle-farking-lujah!!!

Finally, a creditable news-source like China Uncensored is making open mention of holding War Crimes trials against Sino-Communist apparatchiks and—we only can hope—Marxist commissars in general.

This is something I’ve openly advocated (and endured withering criticism over) for more than a DECADE.

Either we start stringing up these kleptomaniac blood ticks or see their persistent human rights violations fade into the same background noise of modern squeals about “Nazism”, “Racism”, “Islamophobia” and, “Fascism”.

Sure enough, the Nuremberg trials may not have been entirely convincing in their scope, yet, a sufficient quantity of genocidal, eugenicist, Antisemitic Hitlerian goons—because of determined and courageous individuals like Simon Wiesenthal—danced in the “Sheriff’s Ascot” (pour encouragé les autres).

Spandau Prison wasn’t remotely appropriate (even with all the wordless attendants), to “rehabilitate” people like Rudolf Hess or his Neo-Nazi drones.

This world needs several more rounds of such “housecleaning” before any meaningful opposition to these industrial-grade psychopaths begins to manifest…

  24. An African migrant attacked a neighbour’s child with a knife on Wednesday. The 11-year-old boy was seriously injured during the attack in the town of Vilshofen, Germany’s TAG24 reports.

The 11-year-old boy was taken to hospital with deep cuts and puncture wounds on his upper body, neck and leg, police said on Thursday.

Thanks to emergency surgery, the boy from Vilshofen (Passau district) is no longer in critical condition.

An immediate investigation by police led to the arrest of a 25-year-old suspect from Eritrea, and also retrieved the knife used in the attack.

  25. Kathleen McKinley, a conservative blogger and political commentator for a local Fox station in Houston, was surprised Friday to find an email from Twitter announcing her account had been suspended.

Twitter listed two tweets that it claimed violated rules against “hateful conduct,” emails that McKinley shared with The Daily Caller News Foundation show.

In the first tweet, McKinley stated her opposition to an Obama-era rule allowing transgender troops serving in the military, which she felt the Obama-era “was normalizing a mental disorder (gender dysphoria) (called ‘distress’ now) which has no place in our military. Certainly not our $$ for surgery.”

The belief that biological males who believe they’re women shouldn’t be cleared for military service is well within the conservative mainstream.

McKinley’s second tweet referred to “extreme Muslim beliefs” — rather than mainstream Muslim beliefs — “that condone honor killings.”

  26. A Pakistani migrant was arrested for trying to set fire near the military camp of Perama on Wednesday. The arrest has been confirmed by the local police.

Perama is an area with a high concentration of refugees. The migrant was arrested and interrogated after being charged and prosecuted with arson. Local police confirmed to our reporter that a Pakistani migrant has been arrested in the area.

The first information of the Local webpage epirus gate says that the perpetrator denies all charges and was just ‘working in the area’.

The heat of the Greek summer and the strong blowing winds could lead to a massive destruction as the military camp of Perama houses military equipment.

Civil Protection Minister Nikos Toskas told at a press conference that arson is a serious possibility. “We have serious indications and significant signs suggesting the criminal actions of arson,” he said.

  27. A dozen members of the Chinese community in the Parisian suburb of Créteil have begun to patrol the streets at night following a wave of aggressive robberies as they claim the police do not do enough.
The men, all aged between 40 and 50 years old, patrol the streets of the suburb after dark until around midnight to prevent attacks against members of their community, Le Parisien reports.

One of the men, a 43-year-old named Xu, said that members of the community were tired of seeing people robbed and attacked in the area.

“We are very angry. Women coming home from work late at night are having their bags stolen, with the money, the papers. Some fell, broke their hands. In April, a 75-year-old woman was attacked,” Xu said and added: “We work, we pay taxes. We are here, it’s clean, we do not want to leave.”

Xu said that the patrol was for the safety of the community and though they did often call the police during situations, he complained of their inaction saying they would stay in their cars.

At least one woman in the community said that the presence of the men reassured her and that she had not heard of many aggressive incidents since the patrols began in May.

  28. A young girl who had her trousers pulled down and threatened with rape at a school in the heavily migrant-populated Swedish city of Malmö has received a £1,700 settlement from the city over their handling of the case.

The NGO Malmö Against Discrimination forced officials to admit it had not handled the case properly and the city paid out 20,000 Swedish Kronor (£1,700) in compensation.

  29. The controversial imam who is popular with the far right (mee, Jul 27, 2018)
    http://www.middleeasteye.net/news/controversial-imam-popular-far-right-1477999567

“Mohammad Tawhidi spends his days telling his more than 200,000 followers on Twitter that immigration and diversity are dangerous

The popular pro-Trump Reddit page The_Donald is one of the corners of the internet where supporters of the far right congregate. It is a place where refugees are often called “rapefugees,” where liberalism is “a mental disorder,” where mass shootings are met with scepticism and where diversity is seen as a danger.

Muslims and Arabs are generally painted as terrorists trying to infiltrate and destroy the nations of the West- except for one: imam Mohammad Tawhidi, an Iranian-born religious scholar living in Australia.

That’s because he largely shares the same worldview that the far right does.

He spends his days telling his more than 200,000 followers on Twitter that immigration and diversity are dangerous. To the far right, he acts as a validator: a self-identified pious Muslim immigrant who says all of their views on immigration and Islam are correct.

Take, for example, this tweet from Thursday: “Multiculturalism is supposed to mean A remains A, and B remains B. Both A and B live in peace based on common values,” he wrote. “However, when A wants to convert B and B refuses to live like A, B is then raped and or killed. This sounds like what’s happening in your country, doesn’t it?”

And tweeting out an article about migrants crossing the Mediterranean to Europe last week, he wrote: “The ‘women and children’ refugees is – in most cases – fake…They want to kill you anyway.”

Tawhidi did not respond to a request for comment prior to publication.

Much of his rhetoric appeals to far-right anti-Islam figures in the US.

He denies that Islamophobia exists. He has expressed support for the Trump administration’s travel ban on citizens from some Muslim-majority countries and called for a temporary immigration ban on Muslims entering Australia. He says Muslims running for Congress in the US are part of a “soft jihad” aimed at taking over the nation. And he says that Hillary Clinton and Barrack Obama created and funded the Islamic State (IS) group.

By doing this, Tawhidi – who claims he was previously a fundamentalist Islamist who preached violence – has become popular among the far right, who see him as validating that their views on Muslims and immigration. Today, he stands as a rare Muslim friend of the anti-Islam movement.

    Far right, far reach
Tawhidi’s popularity among prominent far-right figures across three continents has given him a reach far beyond his Twitter followers.

“You have probably become the most famous imam in the world for people, I’d say, who are on our side of the circle,” said Tommy Robinson, founder of the anti-immigrant and anti-Muslim English Defence League, in a sit-down interview with Tawhidi uploaded to his YouTube channel. “You’ve become the first religious imam who has come out and said what I think, many of the times, needs to be said.”

Tawhidi’s Twitter followers represent a who’s who of the far-right and anti-Islam worlds.

He gets retweeted by Brigitte Gabriel, the founder of ACT! for America, the US’s largest anti-Muslim group, which is considered a hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center. He also gets shout-outs from Infowars’ Paul Joseph Watson, who has almost 900,000 followers on Twitter.

On Tuesday in Adelaide, he was the opening speaker for a talk given by Lauren Southern and Stefan Molyneux. Southern is a Canadian far-right supporter who is popular in the US and known for joining the European white nationalist movement Generation Identitaire in trying to block ships attempting to rescue migrants in the Mediterranean. Molyneux, also a Canadian, has propagated theories of scientific racism and eugenics, according to the Southern Poverty Law Center.

Tawhidi has been cited as an authoritative source on Islam and its dangers by far-right publications including Breitbart (which calls him “anti-extremist”) and Milo Yiannopoulos’s dangerous.com.

And a Fox News article last year characterised Tawhidi as “an Australian imam whose public opposition to radical Islam and attempts to impose sharia law has drawn criticism from other Muslim leaders in Australia”.

    ‘Very dangerous and very effective’
Todd Green, an associate professor of religion at Iowa’s Luther College and an expert on Islamophobia movements, said the use of Tawhidi by anti-Islam personalities enhances the effectiveness of their message to the public.

“It’s very dangerous and it’s very effective,” he said. “The average person in the United States or Europe or Australia actually knows very little about Islam – statistically they know very few Muslims…And then comes this guy in the media and on Twitter who says ‘well, I’ll be the Muslim that you know.’”

A 2014 Pew poll showed that just 38 percent of Americans knew at least one Muslim personally. A later Pew poll in 2017 showed that 41 percent of Americans believed that Islam encouraged violence more than other faiths, while 35 percent said that there was either a “great deal” or “fair amount” of extremism among American Muslims.

“For a scholar of Islamophobia, he [Tawhidi] jumps off the page as your classic native informant, the Muslim friend that most of us don’t have, who will tell us the truth about Islam, who will air its dirty laundry and pat us on the back and confirm our worst fears and worst anxieties,” Green said.

“So he’s reinforcing those dangerous stereotypes, which then reinforces an anti-Muslim worldview that can lead to anti-Muslim policies and can lead to more hate crimes.”

Still, back on The_Donald, where users often conflate Islam and terrorism, some remain sceptical of Tawhidi even though he advances their own worldview.

“His tweets check out, but I have a hard time trusting anyone who stays in that death cult,” one user wrote.

And ever the source of conspiracy theories, some users of The_Donald wrote that they wondered whether Tawhidi was lying in order to gain their trust as part of a shadowy plot.”
