  1. Venezuela: Further Protests as Country Begins Running Out of Water

Local residents in Venezuela staged further protests on Monday as the failed socialist country now appears to be running out of clean water. Multiple groups of demonstrators blocked highways around the capital of Caracas to protest the lack of clean water supplies.

On the Avenida Baralt in central Caracas, protesters complained that they had not received water for two days and, as a result, were forced to use stagnant water, exposing them to infectious diseases.

“At 7:05 am we are in Santa Teresa area of Glorieta protesting for water. #CaracasWantsWater,” wrote local councilor Jesús Armas on Twitter. “The residents of Santa Teresa are raising their voice and exercising their rights, the only way to pressure @HIDROCAPITALca to do their jobs is to activate as citizens.”

    • Venezuela: Further Protests as Country Begins Running Out of Water

Yet another soupçon of truth squeaks out about how this world can survive for millennia without gerdampfen oil but has a bare few weeks left to live without water.

Welcome to the Water Wars™, coming soon to a (military) theater near you!

PS: You don’t even want to know about concepts to control earth’s albedo (i.e., global insolation profile) via massive orbital reflectors – deflectors which could heavily influence where the Great Warmening™ impacts particular populations.

Well fü¢king duh! This is why people are supposed to think and vote independently instead of mindlessly voting the party line at whatever polling booth.

Reelect Angela Merkel if you want to see the net result of this ridiculously, politically polarized lunacy.

  2. Memo confirms DNC server disappearance

Over 40 offices in the House of Representatives may have fallen victim to an “IT security violation,” according to a secret memo from top congressional law enforcement to the Committee on House Administration.

The memo, written in part by Paul Irving, the House’s sergeant at arms, detailed the disappearance of a server for the House Democratic Caucus following its marking as evidence in a cybersecurity probe. Imran Awan, email server administrator to former DNC chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz, and members of his family had logged into the server more than 7,000 times between 2015 and 2016 without proper authorization.

Since then, the memo alleges, the caucus server holding emails from lawmakers has been replaced by a lookalike, but the original is gone.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch, years have gone by without a single incarceration.

      Go figure.

Journo and movie director Abdelkarim El-Fassi calls it “smart and progressive”

RTL isn’t even state-owned media, they’re very commercial so this is not ideology-driven. They’re probably trying to reach a new and younger audience, she has over 1.1 million followers on Instagram:

I’ve seen more of such hires lately, like newspaper AD publishing op-eds by a muslim girl. They never last more than a year, because they slip up and spout anti-semitic or racist, anti-dutch garbage.

The hijab isn’t a “lifestyle” issue (like piercings or tattoos), it’s more of a, “DO THIS OR DIE!” issue. Just, for whatever reasons, no one seems willing to discuss it in any degree of detail. Go figure…

  5. The Muslim Plot to Murder Children at a 4th of July Parade
An Islamic evil lurked in Cleveland possessed of a monstrous hate of innocence and freedom.
    July 3, 2018
    Daniel Greenfield

“The wicked Catholics, Jews all of them,” Abdur Raheem Rafeeq ranted, as he scouted downtown Cleveland.

Abdur had a worthless degree from a culinary school that had gone out of business, a criminal record encompassing everything from domestic violence to aggravated robbery, and a deep love of Allah.

Living on disability in what news reports describe as a Dayton, Ohio Job Corps facility, Abdur, who had formerly been known as Demetrius Nathaniel Pitts and would soon demand to be called Saladin Osama Waleed, after the two famous Muslim leaders he worshiped, loved Allah and hated America.

St. John’s Cathedral, whose bells can be heard throughout downtown, drew the Muslim’s ire. On the video, which would later be recovered from the terrorist’s phone, he spoke of taking it “off the map.”

But Abdur didn’t limit the scope of his plots to Catholics and Jews. He also considered hitting the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Other targets included the Coast Guard Station, the Anthony J. Celebreeze Federal Building, and Cleveland Harbor. The Muslim terrorist was having a good time narrating his terror plots in the traditional Al Qaeda style that had almost gone out of fashion. After years of impotently railing against America, he had finally found a helpful collaborator to help realize his terror dreams.

The plan for removing St. John’s or the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame from Cleveland’s map was detonating a bomb in a van. That plan, like the rest of Abdur’s horrific plotting, never came to fruition.

Quick! Name the GOP allied lobby that has the most influence, that the the left hates the most and has been utterly unable to defeat. Name the organization that the left has been obsessively targeting over its previous pet issue (before open borders).

Now by some stellar coincidence, Team Coup is targeting it too. Because of, you know, De Russkies. Just ask top experts like Rob Reiner, Maxine Waters, Cher or Ted Lieu.

  7. Richard: This one needs to be investigated, while it sounds implausible it also sounds like Obama. Did Obama Hand Out US Citizenship as Gifts to Iranian Officials?

While the media howls about Russia, Iranian collusion is the crime that keeps on giving.

We know already that Obama smuggled a fortune in foreign currency on unmarked planes to Iranian terrorists. That part isn’t even being denied anymore. The Iran Deal was the subject of countless lies by administration officials, from Obama on down, and a fake media echo chamber.

But Obama’s collusion with Iran’s terrorist regimes truly is the crime that keeps on giving.

The Obama administration granted citizenship to 2,500 Iranians, including family members of government officials, while negotiating the Iran nuclear deal, a senior cleric and member of parliament has claimed.

Hojjat al-Islam Mojtaba Zolnour, who is chairman of Iran’s parliamentary nuclear committee and a member of its national security and foreign affairs committee, made the allegations during an interview with the country’s Etemad newspaper, cited by the country’s Fars News agency.

He claimed it was done as a favor to senior Iranian officials linked to President Hassan Rouhani, and he alleged the move sparked a competition among Iranian officials over whose children would benefit from the scheme.

He claimed that the deal was made during negotiations for the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), which was reached in July 2015. President Trump announced in May that the U.S. would withdraw from the agreement.

“When Obama, during the negotiations about the JCPOA, decided to do a favor to these men, he granted citizenship to 2,500 Iranians and some officials started a competition over whose children could be part of these 2,500 Iranians,” he claimed.

    1. Foreign officials from China and a variety of other countries have become notorious for getting their kids American citizenship. It has all sorts of handy applications, not least that it protects if daddy gets overthrown. The brats from a dozen different dictatorships can be found hanging around New York and Los Angeles.

    2. Obama’s open borders preferences and general corruption would have made it a no-brainer to toss in citizenship to bring some of Rouhani’s allies to the table. And the Iranians run a corrupt Jihadist mafia state based on trading favors.

This allegation is another reminder that the Iranian scandal needs to be thoroughly investigated and all of the side deals and communications involving it must be declassified and released.

  8. Democrats Bow to the Left’s Demands to Abolish ICE
Is law enforcement against illegal immigrants really an act of terrorism?
    July 3, 2018
    Joseph Klein

Left wing open borders activists are demanding the dismantling or defunding of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), which was established in 2003 under the Department of Homeland Security to enforce federal laws governing border control, customs, trade and immigration. The whole purpose for establishing ICE was to promote a more coordinated approach to homeland security and public safety than had existed prior to the 9/11 terrorist attacks. The leftist base of the Democratic Party could not care less about Americans’ safety, however. They are pushing a radical anti-law enforcement agenda on immigration, mirroring the Black Lives Matter movement that reviled the police. The left’s rallying cry is “Abolish ICE.” It is reminiscent of the call by a Black Lives Matter activist during a Fox News interview two years ago to “abolish the police, period.”

The left’s rhetoric is becoming increasingly insane, as they live in a world where up is down and down is up. For example, according to Cynthia Nixon, the Sex and the City actress who is challenging Governor Andrew Cuomo in the New York gubernatorial primary this year, ICE, which was granted civil and criminal authority to better protect national security and public safety in response to the terrorist attacks on 9/11, is itself a “terrorist organization.” She launched her very own “Abolish ICE” petition.

    • Is law enforcement against illegal immigrants really an act of terrorism?

Only if the “immigrants” ever stop promoting anti-Western terrorism. Until then, they can just go ahead and take the collective piss. Eh?

  9. Assault on Learning in Academia
Hitting science, engineering and math at a campus near you.
    July 3, 2018
    Jack Kerwick

As I show in my latest book, Higher Miseducation: A Dissident’s Essays on the Attack Against Liberal Learning (Stairway Press), matters are not all that well in academia.

This is but another way of saying that at institutions of higher learning all across the country the left has substituted training in their political ideology for a classical liberal arts education. Nor should anyone be misled into thinking, as so many people continue to assume, that this is happening only within Humanities and Social Science departments.

STEM (Science/Technology/Engineering/Mathematics) has been infected as well.

At the University of Washington, a computer science professor, Stuart Reges, wrote an op-ed with the title, “Why Women Don’t Code.” Reges, who admits to having taught over the years hundreds of women on how to code, reveals the extent to which universities, like his own, have buckled under Politically Correct pressure when it comes to the issue of the gender imbalance that is found in STEM disciplines.

“Ever since Google fired James Damore [who wrote an internal memo delineating his views of gender differences while complaining that Google will not tolerate any deviations from leftist orthodoxy] for ‘advancing harmful gender stereotypes in our workplace,’ those of us working in tech have been trying to figure out what we can and cannot say on the subject of diversity.”

    • Professor Blames Mathematics For “Global Disparities In Wealth”

“First, Ernest asserts that “the nature of pure of mathematics itself leads to styles of thinking that can be damaging when applied beyond mathematics to social and human issues,” since math facilitates “detached” and “calculative” reasoning.

“Reasoning without meanings provides a training in ethics-free thought,” he writes, fretting that this “masculine” paradigm “valorises rules, abstraction, objectification, impersonality, unfeelingness, dispassionate reason, and analysis.”

Second, he argues that the “applications of mathematics in society can be deleterious to our humanity unless very carefully monitored and checked,” worrying particularly about how math facilitates transactions of money and finance.

“Money and thus mathematics is the tool for the distribution of wealth,” he states. “It can therefore be argued that as the key underpinning conceptual tool mathematics is implicated in the global disparities in wealth.”

Finally, Ernest worries of the personal impact math has on “less-successful students,” especially women, since math is often perceived as a “masculine” and “difficult” subject.

“One of the persistent myths of the twentieth century has been that females are ‘naturally’ less well equipped mathematically than males,” Ernest claims, albeit without acknowledging data that would complicate his theory.

“So two of the detrimental effects of images of mathematics that I shall foreground here are first the negative impact on female students following on from the masculine image of mathematics. Second, the negative impact of mathematics related experiences and images on the attitudes and self-esteem of a minority, including many girls and women,” he writes.”

    • STEM (Science/Technology/Engineering/Mathematics) has been infected as well.

Then we Caucasians are all well and truly fü¢ked.

Speaking as someone who has designed a revolutionary, affordable, readily teachable, industry-friendly, digitally compatible, easily produced, vocationally productive, internationally workable, multilingual, entrancing, Interactive STEM Textbook (but cannot get any financial traction due to how my name doesn’t have a PhD after it), if Western nations don’t instantly begin training children in the arts of innovation and creativity (not STEM, mind you), otherwise we may as well just turn on the stove gas and go to bed.

STEM is not the be-all and end-all of modern edumahcation or civilization. Nonetheless, technological fluency will be a massively determining factor in the careers of all future generations. As an example, just my (1978) ability to discuss integrated circuit (dielectric – insulation) passivation layers brought me into a Silicon Valley career that included work on early plasma deposition tools, the Space Shuttle Project, the B2 Stealth Bomber, and the SDI (Strategic Defense Initiative) “Star Wars” project.

Sidebar: For the intensely curious, in order:

Space Shuttle –Personally designed a lithographically deposited, physical layer deposition tantalum pentoxide microwave resistor network that met (contract-winning) Mil-Spec standards.

As a supposed high-school layman, imagine hearing the simultaneous sharp intake of breath as I described to a conference-room full of PhDs and four-year Semiconductor Engineers how to subtend an overly thermally sensitive (look up Temperature Coefficient of Resistance) device’s beam-lead that was contributing unwanted signal instability to the chip’s network.

We all know that I was fired a few weeks later. Eh?

B-2 Stealth Bomber – Applied adhesion-promotion coatings that permitted increased bonding structural strength from, essentially, glass-fiber embedded polymer skin layers which then enabled maximum stealth capabilities.

Star Wars Initiative – Inexpensively retooled a large-scale inert gas thin film sputter coating system to accept (in 1988) 3″ thick x 12″ diameter monocrystalline silicon “substrates” (light years ahead of existing semiconductor wafer fabrication standards at that time).

In my high-tech collection is a 3″ wafer coated with the diffractive “blaze” that this multi-megawatt free electron laser was going to use in sorting out beam-strength wavelengths needed to shoot down orbiting satellites from ground-based installations.

And you’d better believe that there isn’t enough money to make me reveal any of these processes to even another American. I dearly love my country and am unable to comprehend how so many others are able to detest this blessed nation.

Let’s have a showing of hands. Who in fü¢king hell thinks that any child alive today is going to make those sort of contributions with only a high-school diploma in tow?

As in: “If you can’t properly frame the question, how will you ever get the needed answer?!?

Sidebar: This is emblematic of most everything that’s wrong with modern Western Civilization. Political Correctness has stripped out so much meaning and objectivity from our language to where it’s more than a little difficult to obtain simple truth, Internet or not. There is no way to adequately describe the tragedy of this. Not ever.

Loss of language is the loss of mind, thought, and life.

Those who seek to impose these limitations are the eternal enemies of all humanity.

Please understand how every post and reply that I make at Vlad Tepes Blog is in the everlasting battle against this depletion of human brilliance.

      • PS: Please exsqueeze me … I left out how (after my personal contributions to that important program) the Challenger Space Shuttle exploded on my birthday. Hey, there’s a “gotcha” for you, eh?

Only upon black-bordered personal request will I go into mansplaining the gruesome details of how Ronald Reagan, essentially, ordered the Challenger crew to their needless (frozen O-Ring) deaths.

Please know that I routinely refuse to expose myself to mass media (be it via a morning dose of Internet, radio, or television). Then try to imagine my weird (uninformed) inability to realize why everyone at work (that day) was so grim-faced and dour until I realized what had actually happened.

Sidebar: We won’t even go into how my über-Liberal neighbors (directly) across the street experienced the terrible crib-death loss of their beautiful young son on my birthday and have (somewhat understandably) refused to help me celebrate my own life forever after.

My sole consolation is that—after the wee guy’s incessant pointing at and demanding of “Kitty!—I took up my skittish feral cat in my arms and brought him across the street for the little lad to pet and stroke to finally make physical (and endlessly happy) contact with.

Another few weeks and that priceless wee bairn was gone forever. Of course, my neighbors did not even have the courtesy to inform me that their young son had perished. I can only remain glad that my beautiful pet was brought into his loving arms right before that precious child departed this world.

Back to my interminable ranting: Do you know how many times I’ve had to endure brain-dead @ssholes trying to (jokingly) tease me about how my microwave communication circuit device might have contributed to the Challenger shuttle’s booster-caused disaster?

Do you know how often I have to smilingly withstand Mega-Alpha-Hotels calling this world’s technological engine, “Silicone Valley”???

        I’ll stop now…

        Thenk ewe.

  12. Man admits stabbing girl’s PARENTS to death with a 10-inch bread knife because she called him ‘ugly’

A 21-year-old man has pleaded guilty to stabbing the parents of a girl who called him ‘ugly’ at a party.

Zachary Machnikowski faces up to 60 years in prison on charges of attempted first-degree murder and home invasion.

Police say the man – from the Chicago suburb of Naperville, Illinois – believed a girl called him ‘ugly’ while the two were at the same party in March 2015.

Machnikowski became angry and left the party to sneak into the girl’s home, the Daily Herald reports.

He broke into the home at about 1.25am.

Once inside, he grabbed a 10-inch serrated bread knife and repeatedly stabbed the girl’s parents in the head, neck and body while they were lying in bed.

The couple survived after the father was able to knock the knife away.

  13. Socialist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Made Enemies At Work Over Greedy Behavior, Ex-Coworker Says

Socialist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez apparently made enemies while working at a bar in New York as a former co-worker claims that she was greedy and, in at least one instance, allegedly kept most of the tips for herself.

The New York Post’s Page Six reports that while many of the people who used to work with Ocasio-Cortez at Flats Fix liked her, at least one employee had negative things to say about her character.

One waitress at the street taco and tequila bar told Page Six that during a busy Cinco de Mayo celebration in 2017, Ocasio-Cortez allegedly did something shady when splitting up the tips. Page Six reports:

Illegal alien Buena Ventura Martin Godinez issued a warning on Sunday to other migrants looking to illegally enter the United States, telling them to find another country because the Trump administration’s policies were tough.

CBS News reports that Martin Godinez had been separated from her 7-year-old daughter for approximately two months after being caught illegally entering the U.S.

“I would advise people to find another country to seek refuge because here the law is very tough,” Martin Godinez said. “People don’t have a heart.”

Says an illegally “immigrating” vaginal-cavity that refuses to legally cooperate with the proper authorities.

As to how the American “People don’t have a heart”, let’s please take a not-so-brief “cocktail napkin moment” to examine the USA’s historical track record about “HEART”, (statistics available upon request):

Died by the thousands to defeat British Royalist colonial domination.

Died by the thousands to end Black slavery in the Civil War.

Died by the thousands to stop WWI German aggression.

Died by the thousands to defeat WWII Nazism.

Died by the thousands opposing Communist adventures in Korea and Vietnam.

Died by the thousands to “liberate” Afghanistan, Iraq, and Syria.

Died by the thousands after being exposed to the chemicals, radiative energy, hazardous materials, explosives, and radioactive elements or waste that enabled America, upon immediate command-level request, to readily open six-packs of canned sunshine upon any piece of ambulatory excrement that ever pretended to wish harm against the American people.

In the name of all those millions of “Greatest Generation” lives, I will hoist a straight shot (right clicking now) in remembrance of those who bravely went before us and never gave a backward glance with the slightest doubt of what those behind them would continue to achieve.

That there has been even a minor alteration to this timeless equation is, however difficult to admit, indicative of exactly where our world has gone off of the rails. How that “Greatest Generation” has been unfairly disappointed with such infuriatingly silence is symptomatic of the political mayhem that awaits these Antifa mute witnesses to Totalitarianism’s spread..

Sidebar: In my world it is now the Fourth of July. For over the past ten years, I have voluntarily dedicated thousands of hours to ensuring that my community has the finest imaginable Independence Day Parade. Our event (with +30,000 attendees lining the streets) has a particular focus on respecting America’s military veterans and I’ve happily spent countless hours seeking to ensure that they receive maximal exposure and the deeply deserved honor that should be shown to them for their service in the defense of America.

Any inability to do so on my part would be a source of irredeemable shame.

On this celebration of America’s birthday, please allow me to thank any member of the US military (in combat or not) who reads this, for their willingness to defend our nation’s core values.

There is nothing more vital to this country’s existence than such willing defense of its Constitution and my gratitude for such service cannot be adequately expressed in simple words.

Why our subsequent “generations” have so little grasp of this priceless legacy is, indisputably, one of the most worrisome issues confronting The United States of America.

Again, to all who’ve served in this nation’s military or worked in America’s defense industry, bless you all for keeping our country safe and strong.

May the Fourth Be With You!

NPR was forced to report: “Scott Schools, a top aide to the deputy attorney general, is planning to leave the Justice Department, according to two people familiar with his decision. The job title for Schools — associate deputy attorney general — belied his importance as a strategic counselor and repository of institutional memory and ethics at the DOJ. Schools has played a critical, if behind-the-scenes, role in some of the most important and sensitive issues in the building. This year, Schools recommended then-Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe be fired for a “lack of candor” in an internal investigation. Earlier, he advised former acting Attorney General Sally Yates about the boundaries of her congressional testimony in early 2016. And more recently, Schools has been photographed near the offices of Russia special counsel Robert Mueller, as one of a few top DOJ aides to get regular briefings on the status of that investigation.”

People who have connected third-party apps to their accounts may have unwittingly given human staff permission to read their messages.

One company told the Wall Street Journal that the practice was “common” and a “dirty secret”.

Google indicated that the practice was not against its policies.

One security expert said it was “surprising” that Google allowed it.

An assistant US attorney said Tuesday he would not prosecute Imran Awan, a former systems administrator for Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz and other Democrats, for any crimes on Capitol Hill in a plea agreement that had him plead guilty to one count of bank fraud.

Only one person sat at the prosecutors’ table: J.P. Coomey, who unsuccessfully prosecuted New Jersey Democrat Sen. Bob Menendez for corruption and was only added to the case Monday. There was no sign of Michael Marando, who had previously led the prosecution.

Coomey did not object to the removal of Awan’s GPS monitor, said he would not oppose a sentence of probation, and agreed to drop charges against his wife, fellow former systems administrative Hina Alvi. 25. Contemporary Muslim Fashions
    September 22, 2018 – January 6, 2019
Contemporary Muslim Fashions is the first major museum exhibition to explore the complex, diverse nature of Muslim dress codes worldwide. The exhibition examines how Muslim women—those who cover their heads and those who do not—have become arbiters of style within and beyond their communities, and in so doing have drawn mass media attention to contemporary Muslim life.

Spotlighting places, garments, and styles from around the world, this exhibition considers how Muslims define themselves—and are defined—by their dress, and how these sartorial choices can reflect the multifaceted nature of their identities. The exhibition traverses different religious interpretations and cultures, including high-end fashions, such as those by Malaysia-based Blancheur; street wear, such as modest designs from London-based Sarah Elenany; sportswear, such as the burkini; and commissioned garments from both emerging and established designers. Including social media as primary material, Muslim voices and personal narratives are framed by runway footage, news clips, and documentary and fashion photography.

      • Thank you, Dear yucki.

        – DOUBLE VOMIT –

What: “Muslim Fashions” represent to this world is nothing different from the slave chains and yokes of yesteryear. Far more disturbing is why this is such a mystery to “supposedly” modern people.

  26. Palestinians Beat Female Journalists; World “Sees No Evil”

    by Bassam Tawil
    July 3, 2018 at 5:00 am

Two female Palestinian journalists were beaten during protests in the West Bank in the past week. The two women, Lara Kan’an and Majdoleen Hassona, were assaulted by Palestinian Authority security officers while covering Palestinian demonstrations calling on President Mahmoud Abbas to lift the economic sanctions he imposed last year on the Gaza Strip.

The physical assaults on Kan’an and Hassona are seen by Palestinians as part of the Palestinian Authority’s continued effort to silence critics and intimidate journalists who fail to “toe the line.” The beatings, which took place separately in the West Bank cities of Nablus and Tulkarem, mark a new high in the Palestinian leadership’s crackdown on public freedoms: assaulting an Arab woman on the street is considered a humiliation of the highest order to her and her clan.

While such assaults spark protests among Palestinians, the international community and Western correspondents covering the Israeli-Palestinian conflict continue to play their game of “See No Evil.” When the perpetrators are Palestinians, they can get away with — literally, murder — from the perspective of International human rights organizations and groups ostensibly concerned about freedom of the media. What would have been the response on the part of the international community and press, one wonders, had the two Palestinian women even been roughed up by Israeli soldiers.

    • This will come back on the heads of those who refuse to see.
And they will watch as their parents, children, and grandchildren suffer for the decisions made today.

  27. the gateway pundit – Deep State Targets Conservative Favorite Jim Jordan With Vicious Smear Campaign After Announcing Speakership Plans

Rep. Jim Jordan has been hammering Rosenstein and the FBI over their corruption, Russia probe and Spygate.

The Ohio Congressman also just announced his House Speakership bid plans; he’s a Freedom Caucus founder and very popular with Trump supporters.

The swamp unleashed a smear campaign on Jordan Tuesday morning, accusing him of turning a blind eye to sexual abuse as Ohio State wrestling coach.

The law firm handling this case is none other than Perkins Coie; the same law firm that represented Hillary Clinton’s campaign and paid for the fake Russia dossier.

    NBC reported:

Rep. Jim Jordan, the powerful Republican congressman from Ohio, is being accused by former wrestlers he coached more than two decades ago at Ohio State University of failing to stop the team doctor from molesting them and other students.

The university announced in April that it was investigating accusations that Dr. Richard Strauss, who died in 2005, abused team members when he was the team doctor from the mid-1970s to late 1990s.

  28. Asdollah Assadi, Iran’s diplomat in Austria who ordered the terror attack, was arrested in Germany

A terrorist diplomat of the clerical regime by the name of Asdollah Assadi, who was the main planner of the terrorist plot against the great gathering of Iranians in Paris, was arrested in Germany. The terrorist diplomat, who is the station chief of the Ministry of Intelligence and Security (MOIS) in Vienna, has been stationed in Austria since August 2014.

The two arrested terrorists are Amir Sadoni and Nassim Nomeni and are residents of Antwerp.

Prior to Asadollah Assadi, an individual by the name of Mostafa Roudaki was the MOIS station chief in the regime’s embassy in Austria. Roudaki was transferred to Tehran and was subsequently dispatched to Albania in 2017 as the MOIS station chief there to plot against the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran.

The Iranian Resistance once again reiterates the need to shut down the Iranian regime’s embassies and representative offices in Europe as centers of espionage and terrorism and expel the agents of the Ministry of Intelligence and the terrorist Quds Force from European countries.
Austria to lift immunity of Iranian diplomat in bomb plot

Austria plans to revoke the legal immunity of an Iranian diplomat who is suspected of involvement in a plot to bomb an Iranian opposition rally in France, officials said Tuesday.

The Iranian government was notified that the man’s diplomatic status would be canceled within 48 hours unless Tehran does so first, Matthias Forenbacher, a spokesman for Austria’s foreign minister, told The Associated Press.

The diplomat, Assadollah Assadi, was detained Sunday near the German city of Aschaffenburg on a European arrest warrant after a couple with Iranian roots was stopped in Belgium and authorities reported finding powerful explosives in their car. The web site of the Austrian Foreign Ministry lists Assadi as a counselor at the Iranian Embassy in Vienna.

Iran’s ambassador was summoned to the ministry Monday and asked to “contribute to clarifying the situation,” Forenbacher said. Iranian President Hassan Rouhani is scheduled to travel to Austria on Wednesday for a long-planned visit.

Belgian authorities accuse Assadi of being part of an alleged plot to set off explosives at a rally of the Mujahedeen-e-Khalq group in neighboring France and want him extradited.

Munich prosecutors told the AP they are also investigating the diplomat in connection with the alleged plan.

Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif called the allegations of a foiled extremist plot a ploy Monday.

“How convenient: Just as we embark on a presidential visit to Europe, an alleged Iranian operation and its ‘plotters arrested,'” Zarif said in a Twitter message. “Iran unequivocally condemns all violence & terror anywhere.”

The Mujahedeen-e-Khalq, or MEK, is an exiled Iranian opposition group based largely in Paris and Albania. The formerly armed group was removed from European Union and U.S. terrorism lists several years ago after denouncing violence and getting western politicians to lobby on its behalf.

Diplomat arrested in Germany named by opposition as Assadollah Assadi

Austria is to strip an alleged Iranian spymaster of his diplomatic status after he was arrested in Germany over a suspected plot to bomb a mass meeting of opposition supporters in France.

The diplomat, 46, was held because of his contacts with a married couple intercepted in Belgium with half-a-kilogramme of homemade explosive and a detonator in their car, officials said.

Authorities named the diplomat only as Assadollah A, who was held in Germany on a Europe-wide arrest warrant and is wanted for questioning by Belgian authorities.

Assadollah Assadi – named by dissidents as the arrested man on Monday – is the only person who matches the name on Austrian government records.

Mr Assadi, one of 18 diplomats at Iran’s Vienna embassy, was listed as a low-ranking official but identified by dissidents as station chief of the Ministry of Intelligence and Security (MOIS) in Vienna since 2014.

One of the main responsibilities of the MOIS is to conduct covert operations against the opposition abroad and to “identify and eliminate its members,” according to a 2012 report for US Congress.

“The Iranian diplomat will be denied diplomatic status within 48 hours because of the existence of a European arrest warrant,” Austria’s Foreign Ministry said in a statement. The embassy did not respond to requests for comment.

The meeting went ahead on Saturday just north of Paris and attracted thousands of people opposed to clerical rule in Iran. The meeting was addressed by the former New York mayor Rudy Giuliani, Republican grandee Newt Gingrich, and other senior Western officials.

Iran has denied a plot to blow up the meeting of the Paris-based National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) and called the arrests a “false flag ploy” because of its timing just before a visit to Europe of President Hassan Rouhani.

The NCRI, an umbrella bloc of opposition groups in exile that seeks an end to clerical rule in Iran, is also known by its Farsi name Mujahideen-e-Khalq (MEK). The MEK was once listed as a terrorist organisation by the United States and the European Union and is seen by Tehran as a criminal network aimed at bringing down the government.

It has been described as cult-like with policies including public confessions of sexual fantasies and enforced divorce for some of its members, former members told the BBC. “One of the reasons why the [regime] haven’t gone all the way to get rid of the MEK is so that they can use them as bogey-figures,” said prominent UK-based activist Potkin Azarmehr.

The group emerged in the 1960s in opposition to the Shah of Iran and rebranded itself in opposition after the 1979 revolution. It has centred around Massoud Rajavi, the leader since 1972 who has not seen for 15 years, and his wife Maryam, the group’s public face, who spoke at the event on Saturday.

The US considers Iran to be the world’s biggest state sponsor of terrorism because of its links with a host of armed groups including Hezbollah and Hamas. Hezbollah has been blamed for a string of attacks on Western targets and operates closely with Iranian intelligence services.

The killings of four Kurdish leaders at the Mykonos restaurant in Berlin, Germany, in 1992, caused a major diplomatic incident after a German court implicated the highest levels of the Iranian regime in the killing.

The furore – and the temporary withdrawal of ambassadors by EU nations from Tehran – had led to a marked downturn in state-sponsored attacks outside of Iran.

“The situation in Iran is very bad and I think the government is trying to murder the Iranian opposition abroad,” one of the survivors of the Mykonos attack, Parviz Dastmalchi, told the National. “They have not learned from 1992 but the reason is because they are in danger.”

In 2012, Iranians were identified by Indian authorities as being behind an assassination plot on an Israeli diplomat that saw a hitman attach a magnetic bomb to an embassy car in New Delhi.

Opposition leaders also blamed Iran over the shooting dead in Istanbul in April last year of the head of a Persian-language media company. The Dubai-based founder of Gem TV, Saeed Karimian, had previously been tried in his absence in a Tehran court and sentenced to six years in prison for spreading propaganda against Iran. Mr Karimian was shot dead when his car was blocked off by another car and two masked men opened fire on his car. His business partner was also killed.

  29. Son of Islamic State ‘caliph’ killed in Syria (MEE,Jul 3, 2018)

“A son of Islamic State (IS) group leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi has been killed in the city of Homs in Syria, the group’s news channel reported on Tuesday.

“Hudayfah al-Badri … the son of the Caliph… was killed in an operation against the Nusayriyyah and the Russians at the thermal power station in Homs,” the statement said. The word Nusayriyyah is a derogatory term used by IS to refer to Syria’s Alawite community, the sect of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.

Pro-IS twitter accounts circulated a supposed photo of Badri, showing a male in his early teens holding a machine gun…”

  30. Tunisia: hotels block Burkini, authorities’ refuse to comment (memo, Jul 4, 2018)

“A number of Tunisian hotels are preventing women who wear the, so-called, ‘Burkini’ swimwear from accessing to private swimming pools, claiming that this swimwear is dangerous.

The Burkini is a type of swimwear designed by the Lebanese-born Australian fashion designer, Aheda Zanetti. It is a swimsuit that covers the entire body except the face, hands, and feet. It is rubbery enough to facilitate swimming and is popular among European Muslims.

Al-Khaleej Online contacted the Tunisian Ministry of Tourism. However, the Ministry did not provide any explanation.

Commenting on the ban, Imed Daïmi, Rapporteur of the Committee of Rights, Freedoms, and External Relations at the Tunisian Chamber of Deputies, described the decision of some hotels to ban veiled women’s dress as “unconstitutional” and “illegal”.

In an interview with Al-Khaleej Online, Daïmi said that this ban violates the freedom of foreign citizens and tourists. It is also a discrimination against female Tunisian citizens and female tourists from Arab countries, especially Algerian and Libyan tourists.

The Tunisian MP said that Algerian and Libyan tourists saved the previous tourist seasons, after the Europeans did not visit Tunisia.

He pointed out that this measure, taken after the return of European tourists is discriminatory against Arab tourists.

    Discrimination against veiled women

Tunisian blogger Fatma Al-Sharif posted on her Facebook page: “Today in Tunisia, veiled women are prevented from swimming, because their swimsuits pollute the pools!” Every year, the list of hotels that commit such a discriminatory act is expanding because women are silent about this injustice especially when customers pay the hotel fees without knowing about this ban in advance.”

Al-Sharif posted a short list of hotels that prevent veiled women from swimming (31 hotels) and commented by saying: “The freedom of dressing is for all and not for only one category. We have suffered oppression for 23 years and it is still being practiced in different ways.”…”
