Today Show and The Voice host Sonia Kruger has failed to have a racism complaint against her dismissed.
Kruger sparked outrage after saying Australian borders should be closed to Muslims.
The Civil and Administrative Tribunal rejected Channel Nine’s application to have the complaint dismissed without hearing, the Daily Telegraph reported.
Sam Ekermawi made the complaint saying Channel Nine had vilified ‘ethnic Muslim Australians’.
‘I mean, personally, I think Andrew Bolt has a point here, that there is a correlation between the number of people who are Muslim in a country and the number of terrorist attacks,’ she said.
‘Now I have a lot of very good friends who are Muslim, who are peace-loving who are beautiful people, but there are fanatics.
‘Personally, I would like to see it stopped now for Australia. Because I want to feel safe, as all of our citizens do when they go out to celebrate Australia Day.’
Mr Ekermawi wrote an email to the Anti-Discrimination Board of New South Wales saying Kruger had dehumanised Muslims.
The Nine Network applied to have Mr Ekermawi’s complaint dismissed, saying the segment discussed religion and not race.
They also said Mr Ekermawi’s history of making vilification complaints meant it would be an abuse of the tribunal’s processes to allow the complaint to proceed.
NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal deputy president Nancy Hennessy refused Channel Nine’s application.
The matter has now been listed for directions on June 19.

    • Notice the standard defensive posture: “Now I have a lot of very good friends who are Muslim, who are peace-loving who are beautiful people, but there are fanatics”. this is so common(and nauseating) but necessary to survive, and you can thank the Left for this as well as the presence of muslims. remember who the REAL enemy is: the Left.

      • Notice the standard defensive posture…

“Some of my best friends are Muslims … but that doesn’t necessarily mean I’d let my daughter marry one.”

Gotta love these disingenuous Multi-Culti Caucasians.

      • “Now I have a lot of very good friends who are shirk-believing Muslim, who are peace-loving who are beautiful people, but there are those who understand it”.

    • “Mr Ekermawi wrote an email to the Anti-Discrimination Board of New South Wales saying Kruger had dehumanised Muslims.”

Forced to pray five only times a day does that already.

      • a de-humanized muslim is tautological. islam is the most de-humanizing concept on the planet as it renders a once potential human into something closer to but still less than pond scum (algae do more for this world than every muslim)

    • Today Show and The Voice host Sonia Kruger has failed to have a racism complaint against her dismissed.

Kruger sparked outrage after saying Australian borders should be closed to Muslims.

More than anything else, this was Ms. Kruger’s golden opportunity to blast judges and prosecutors alike that ISLAM IS NOT A RACE. Why this, evidently, popular television personality isn’t shouting this from the (blue gum) treetops is utterly beyond me. Few people on earth will ever have a better media venue for this crucial argument.

    • I brought my own food, enjoyed their A/C & used their free wifi to order some… Black Rifle Coffee

Hilarious! Turnabout is more than fair play these days. In fact, it’s become mandatory. Leaving the Left unpunished is like not disciplining a pet for willfully defecating in the house. And eff knows, the Left is crapping all over America’s once-rather-pristine doorstep.

“Fouling the nest”, doesn’t even begin to describe this Politically Correct travesty.

    • This woman is the bravest person in Oz politics: the swine( both major parties, MSM, unions, multicultural traitors, greens etc) all combined and crucified her, gaoled her, embarrassed her, did their very damnedest to get rid of her and she came back. IF ONLY some the rest had her courage, determination, honesty and integrity. Many say that she could never be PM as she isn’t good enough (no silver spoon, no university and “so common”)but just look at the two rich boy alternatives (Turnbull (a blatant globalist) and Shorten( a socialist rapist). The problem is that her directness and her honesty scares off the other minor parties(Conservatives and ALA) and it is their very lack of courage that makes them so pointless.

    • Senator Hanson supports Tommy Robinson, wants to go to England and visit him in jail.

Pauline Hanson deserves endless support and praise for her willingness to give Tommy Robinson the “celebrity” Political Prisoner status that he, not only deserves, but desperately needs to survive. The more spotlights shone upon Incarcerated Tommy*, the better his odd of survival

      * Incarcerated Tommy ought to become a British meme, because Robinson’s gaol sentence is a prison term for all Caucasian British men who crave to speak openly about England’s horrific trajectory.

Senator Hanson is risking a lot of political capital by playing the upstart transported colonial who has taken it upon herself to meddle in the Home Office’s affairs. She is it be applauded for ensuring the “Streisand Effect” happens. Namely, obtaining just that much more Liberal media coverage of her supposedly controversial agenda.

When it comes to playing the MSM like a fiddle, Hanson would do well spending some time at the knee of Donald Trump. Fortunately, we now have a President who isn’t looking for any strangers to be in between his knees.

“What we call, in this country, “paedophilia”.

Such classic understatement! Pointing up the inability of Britain’s own legal system to “call a spade a spade”—especially when dealing with incredibly serious, high-felony crimes like recruiting, drugging, and pimping out adolescent young Caucasian girls for gang rapes—is a richly-deserved gobsmack (the most polite term I can come up with, without my lunch following it) for England’s entire judiciary.

There’s a lot to like about Senator Pauline Hanson. It’s difficult to describe my personal frustration that only another “protected species” minority-type (i.e., a woman), has any freedom or legal clearance to point at the naked emperor.

By removing the Caucasian Male Component™ from so many modern equations, Feminists (amongst the foremost culprits), along with media and the government, have disconnected a major political energy flywheel that could drive restoration and protection of genuine Constitutional Rights—not the twisted and wrenchingly pulled taffy that currently passes for America’s Constitution.

Much like how (whatever surviving) Muslims will, one day, learn to curse the name of Osama bin Laden; so shall Western Women learn to curse the Militant Feminists that led their once-nuclear families so far astray.

  2. Attack on Interior Ministry in Kabul Ended, Militants Killed – Police (sputniknews, May 30, 2018)

“The purported attack on the Afghan Interior Ministry building is the latest in a series of deadly attacks in Kabul this year.

A blast hit the building of the Afghan Interior Ministry in Kabul, 1TVNews reported on Wednesday citing a security source, adding that the blast was followed by gunfire.

The explosion was most likely triggered by a suicide attacker, Interior Ministry spokesman Najib Danish said as quoted by the broadcaster, adding that one person was injured in the incident.

Previously, 1TVNews reported a loud blast and gunfire has been heard in the Afghan capital of Kabul near the Interior Ministry.

Police and militants have reportedly been exchanging fire after the explosion had rocked the area.

The law enforcement officers, who have been inside the buildings, reportedly said they believed it was a militant attack on the ministry…”

    • A blast hit the building of the Afghan Interior Ministry in Kabul, 1TVNews reported on Wednesday citing a security source, adding that the blast was followed by gunfire.

Please keep in mind that we’re talking about Afghanistan’s capital city.

Can you imagine a Washington DC or London-based attack and gunfire siege upon a Department of the Interior building? Well … I’ll freely admit London may not have been my best pairing in this particular case.

Yet, the point remains. Few Westerners comprehend just how entirely OOC (Out Of Control) Muslim Majority countries (Yemen, anyone? Syria?) are … even as we speak. This planetary chaos will continue right up and until the very last moment when Islam’s global ummah is Properly Notified™.

Precisely what this Proper Notification™ consists of and how it’s “delivered” remains totally irrelevant. To appropriately qualify, this Note™ must necessarily be sufficiently puissant to Reach Out and Touch© almost two billion of this planet’s Muslims—and do so in an adequately compelling manner (i.e., convincingly and permanently way)—that it credibly, as in “Credible Deterrent”, dissuades the ummah from all further terrorist jihadism; be it planned or random.

I consider it safe to say that such a DOD (Demonstration Of Displeasurewhat a curious coincidence of acronyms!) will involve a lot of implicit unpleasantries and nigh-well irreversible consequences—in the exact same sort of way that Islam’s overclouding presence in our world has assured … for well-over a thousand years.

The only difference being, that any latter-day DOD may well resolve this centuries-old, festering, suppurating, chancre upon the Civilized World in a matter of days.

It’s only a matter of time. Full Stop.

Islam holds its entire future in its hands, and not—contrary to popular opinion—in the wombs of all those broodmares it constantly exports. A few year’s deadline makes all those sausage-making harems immaterial. What does it matter how many invader babies you breed if your perpetual antagonism of the West earns you internment, deportation, or (far) worse?

The only thing that can functionally alter this almost-inevitable and catastrophic outcome is by having Islam make voluntarily, dramatic changes in its doctrinally mandated, violent ways. Insert canned hysterical audience laughter, >here<.

Speaking for myself, I do not see this happening without one-or-more minor–major DODs "leading the way". Achieving these persuasive dramatic changes in any other manner, while infinitely preferable, appears entirely impossible. So be it, Islam. Pick your poison, Muslims. The Koran or radionuclides?

While entirely out of any personal control—something for which my critics have expressed infinite gratitude—Islam rapidly is running out of options (i.e., making too many enemies too fast). Saudi Arabia’s MbS seems to have gotten this memorandum. Unfortunately, most of the other MME (Muslim Middle East) nations both refuse to admit, or act openly upon, the Preliminary Notification™ that was intended by the Multinational rollovers in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Expecting America to interminably squander so much blood and treasure in the MME is a fool’s errand, at best. There comes a time when The Law of Diminishing Returns™ dictates more cost-effective measures.

Remember, for there to be any effective Counterjihad, we’re talking about how to Reach Out and Touch© almost two billion Muslims. This cannot, as in NEVER, be done on a one-bullet-at-a-time basis. The trillions of dollars incinerated during every last MME campaign is stark testimony to what eventual fate awaits the ummah.

When you stop to consider that Islam has spent the last fifty years “changing its ways” (over to even-more psychotically hidebound fundamentalism), whatever prospects there are that remain for this world’s global Muslim population aren’t exactly glistening.

Sadly, Islam’s own congenitally tranmitted, blood-borne, genocidal hatred will prevent any such “counter-reformation”. The simple fact that speculation about an Islamic pacification includes a term like, “counter-reformation” bodes not-at-all well.

You’d think that Muslims might eventually twig on such a glow-in-the-dark clue. Eh?

      An epitaph, p’raps?

  3. Daesh Launches ‘Major’ New Offensive in Direction of Palmyra – Reports (sputniknews, May 30, 2018)

“The terrorist group had already captured and then lost the ancient city in Homs province, central Syria on two occasions to Syrian forces backed by Russian air support in 2016 and 2017.

A Syrian military source in Homs told Al-Masdar News that Daesh (ISIS)* had launched a major offensive in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

According to the source, the terrorist group is trying to break out of a large pocket in the Badiya area, i.e. the Syrian steppe, and has attacked Syrian Army positions east of the T-3 Pumping Station, a major crude oil pumping station located near Palmyra. Militants have reportedly attacked Syrian positions in the Hamimah area, formerly Daesh’s stronghold in the Syrian steppe.

Daesh is reported to be continuing its offensive, although no territorial gains or losses by either side have been reported…”

  4. Exclusive: ‘Western Europe Is Consumed by Self Hate’ — German Populist Leader (breitbart, May 30, 2018)

“BERLIN, Germany: Co-leader of the populist Alternative for Germany (AfD) Alexander Gauland spoke exclusively to Breitbart London on the fallout of Germany’s welcome culture and the issue of Western “self-hatred”.

Mr. Gauland rarely grants foreign interviews. but agreed to sit down with Breitbart London at his office in central Berlin this week.

The AfD co-leader, who is well-known for his provocative statements, claiming he would “hunt” Angela Merkel following the party’s breakthrough performance in last year’s national elections, said he believes that much of the migrant crisis and the policies surrounding it are due to self-hatred in the West.

When asked about a recent speech by Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, in which he declared he would pursue a policy of Christian Democracy, Gauland said: “I’m not someone who can discuss internal Hungarian policy but in this speech you mentioned, he is right.

“He says, ‘We don’t accept that we have to take people from a strange culture and we don’t like to accept Muslims. We haven’t opened the border, Merkel has opened the border. That’s their problem and it’s not our problem.’”

“We have in Western Europe the problem of self-hate. That’s a problem of Germany because of National Socialism and the murder of six million Jews and in the rest of Western Europe, it is the problem of colonialism, Algeria, India, and all these problems,” he said.

“The eastern Europeans haven’t this problem because their identity has been unbroken because they had no colonies, they had no direct part in Hitler’s war, so the national identity of Poland and Slovakia and others is healthy and good. They say, “We don’t want these strange refugees, we don’t welcome them.’”

Germany has recently been rocked by a scandal involving the Bremen branch of the Federal Agency for Migration and Refugees (BAMF) in which it turned out that 1,200 asylum seekers were granted asylum despite not being eligible.

“It’s quite clear that some officials in the BAMF have said ‘all people are welcome’ and you have a lot of German politicians who say ‘all refugees have to be absorbed into our society,’” Gauland said and noted a Green party politician who labelled migrants as “gifts” to Germany.

“If you have a gift you don’t look very strictly, you accept this ‘gift’,” he said and added: “This outlook of parts of our society is the reason for this debacle in the BAMF.””

  5. Russian Journalist Arkady Babchenko Shot Dead in Kiev

A prominent Russian investigative journalist was shot dead on Tuesday in Ukraine’s capital, Kiev.

Arkady Babchenko died from his injuries on the way to the hospital after being shot in the back near the entrance to his Kiev apartment, Ukrainian law enforcement said on social media.

His wife phoned an ambulance saying she had found Babchenko covered in blood, police said, adding they suspected the murder was due to Babchenko’s professional activities.

Babchenko, a Chechen war veteran and a staunch critic of President Vladimir Putin, left Russia out of safety concerns after covering the conflict in Ukraine. His murder follows the earlier death of Ukranian-Belarussian journalist Pavel Sheremet by car bomb in central Kiev in 2016.

  6. EU Unveils Plans for ‘Drastic’ Funding Cuts to Patriotic Eastern Nations (breitbart, May 30, 2018)

“Patriotic Visegrád nations in the east will each see their regional funding from Brussels slashed by around a quarter under new European Union (EU) budget rules which reward the intake of third world migrants.

Presented by the European Commission on Tuesday, the draft budget for 2021-2027 proposed what New Europe describes as “drastic” cuts in cohesion funds to Central Europe, with Poland, Hungary, and the Czech Republic each set to see a reduction of just under 25 per cent.

The plans would see Brussels shift the criteria for allocating the €373 billion pot — which is aimed at boosting the economies of poorer nations — away from GDP per capita and towards so-called EU “values” including migration and environmental policy.

Polish Minister for European affairs Konrad Szyma?ski said the government would reject any attempts at “budgetary revolution”, telling Politico: “We are ready to seek a compromise, but Central Europe should be treated fairly.”

Countries which find themselves winners under the post-2020 budget plans include Italy, Greece, and Spain, which are each hosting huge numbers of immigrants who broke across the continent’s borders seeking a better life.

Senior EU figures have repeatedly insisted that every nation in Europe must agree to allow large numbers of third world migrants to settle within its borders, asserting this to be a core feature of belonging to the bloc.

Opponents of Eastern European hesitance to follow in the so-called multicultural footsteps of their Western neighbours, German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Emmanuel Macron, have both previously suggested the distribution of EU funds should be linked to the number of asylum seekers that countries host.

Just days prior to Italian President Sergio Mattarella’s shock rejection of a populist coalition government backed by voters, EU Migration Commissioner Dimitris Avramopoulos said he was confident Italy’s borders would remain open, despite the rejection of mass migration at the polls.

Disregarding the widespread anger felt by Italians at the continuing arrival of hundreds of thousands of Africans, he said that the country’s migration policy “will continue on the road travelled until now”, insisting Italy must continue playing its “very important role in Europe” as an entry point for the world’s migrants.”

  7. Report: Most Brits Say Immigration Has Divided Communities (breitbart, May 30, 2018)

“A strong majority of Brits think immigration has divided communities, particularly in areas most affected by mass arrivals, polling by a left-wing group has found.

The study, by the think tank Demos, also found that large numbers of people believe the government should be working to preserve traditional ways of life in a time of globalisation and deep economic change.

In one of the most unified responses to a question, 71 per cent said immigration has “made the communities where migrants have settled more divided”, with the number rising to 78 per cent in areas hit by large-scale migration in recent years.

The number was more than four-fifths, or 81 per cent, amongst Conservative voters.

From focus groups and their polling, authors concluded that most people thought immigration had had negative effects and “the nation’s cultures and traditions are not being sufficiently defended and promoted”.

A large number of Brits are also “particularly incensed by cultural pluralism, seen to be favoured over British values and traditions, and political correctness, regarded as taxing and repressive”.

According to their polling, more than half, 55 per cent, believe that jobs were more accessible in the past, 71 per cent believe their communities have been eroded in their lifetimes, and 63 per cent said that the UK’s world status has declined.

A further 63 per cent believe life was better when they were growing up, compared to 21 per cent who believe it is better now. Despite this, the British were less nostalgic and more optimistic than the French and Germans.

“Despite the widespread critiques of contemporary British society, and anxieties about the future, many citizens remain both resilient and begrudgingly optimistic – a point that sets them apart from participants in our French and German focus groups,” the report authors write.

In the face of change, around of half of the respondents said the government should balance protecting existing jobs and traditional ways of life with keeping business competitive and up-to-date with the times, the polling also revealed.

Overall, fractionally more regard immigration as bad than good, with 43 per cent calling its effects positive and 44 per cent believing it has been a negative development for the nation.

The authors add: “Only three issues appear to truly unite the nation – the belief that the country is in a state of decline and that further change lies on the horizon, feeling that immigration has negatively impacted British society, and believing the nation’s cultures and traditions are not being sufficiently defended and promoted.””

  8. Toughened Border Security Drives Plunge in Australia’s Migration Intake (breitbart, May 30, 2018)

“Australia’s annual migrant intake is continuing to fall as tougher border checks and visa security combine to slash the number of new arrivals.

A Home Affairs official told an Australian Senate Estimates hearing in Canberra that the intake for 2016-2017 had been 183,608 people, while the 2017-2018 number was down to 138,086 as of April 30. It means Australia’s most recent intake of foreign migrants will fall 20,000 short of the annual cap, SBS News reports.

The 138,086 number was made up of 91,302 in skilled migration, 44,193 family visas and 2,591 children.

Last year Australia announced plans to tighten its citizenship rules to require higher English language skills, longer residency and evidence of integration through consistent employment. It is also making migrants wait longer before they can access any government benefits or assistance after arrival while securing the country’s borders.

Operation Sovereign Borders, introduced by former Prime Minister Tony Abbott in 2013, sees smuggler-boats intercepted at sea and migrants either returned to where they came from or taken to offshore processing centres. Migrants found to be legitimate asylum seekers have been settled in third countries at Australia’s expense.

Department of Home Affairs head Michael Pezzullo acknowledged the latest drop, saying the numbers come as the government improved “checking mechanisms” for migrants by linking security databases. He said:

As we connect what were formerly standalone, isolated immigration integrity risk systems to intelligence databases … as you couple more databases onto your checking mechanism, you get more what are known as ‘hits’ in our trade. They have to be resolved.

Mr. Pezzullo confirmed the government is on track to achieve the lowest annual immigration intake for a decade, with 138,086 people being processed in the past 10 months.”

    • If you talk to those flooded with Somalis, Afghans, Syrians etc. this is absolute rubbish. Sure they stopped the illegals mostly but overstay of visas is a joke while the TRUE numbers of “legal’ muslim immigrants are never released. NEVER believe official statistics!

  9. Indonesian designer Anniesa Hasibuan jailed for fraud (BBC, May 30, 2018)

“A leading fashion designer, who made history at New York Fashion Week by having all her models wear headscarves, has been jailed for 18 years for fraud.

Indonesian designer Anniesa Hasibuan and her husband, Andika Surachman, were found guilty of running a scam through their travel agency, First Travel.

Prosecutors say they were paid over $60m (£45m) to organise mini pilgrimages to Mecca.

But they were accused of embezzling the money and the trips never took place.

Hasibuan has been described as a leader in Islamic fashion, due to her luxurious designs.

Her works have been shown at fashion events in London, Istanbul and Cannes…”

  10. Ukraine and Russia trade accusations over killing of dissident journalist

KIEV/MOSCOW (Reuters) – Ukraine and Russia traded accusations on Wednesday after a dissident Russian journalist and Kremlin critic was shot dead in Kiev, in a killing that sent shivers through the journalistic communities in both countries.

Arkady Babchenko, 41, died of his wounds in an ambulance on Tuesday after an unidentified gunman shot him in the back several times as he returned home after buying bread.

Babchenko, a critic of President Vladimir Putin and of Russian policy in Ukraine and Syria, had lived in exile in the Ukrainian capital after receiving threats at home for saying he did not mourn the victims of a Russian defense ministry plane crash in 2016.

Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman said in a social media posting late on Tuesday he was convinced that what he called “the Russian totalitarian machine” had not forgiven Babchenko for what Groysman called his honesty.

The Ukrainian president’s office referred reporters on Wednesday to comments by Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin, who said it was too early to draw conclusions but that there was “an astounding similarity to the methods Russia uses to provoke political destabilisation”.

  11. China leaned on Hong Kong not to hand fugitive to U.S., State Department says

HONG KONG (Reuters) – The U.S. State Department said Hong Kong’s leader, Carrie Lam, rejected a request last year to surrender a fugitive into the custody of the United States, at China’s behest.

In an annual report on the Asian financial hub this week, the State Department said last October’s rejection was the first such instance since the former British colony returned to Chinese rule in 1997.

Hong Kong has a formal extradition agreement with the United States but not with China, although the latter has handed over criminal suspects on an ad hoc basis through the years.

The refusal was “at the behest of the (Chinese) central government,” the State Department said, adding that the fugitive was later released into Chinese custody “on the basis that the central government was pursuing a separate criminal action”.

It added, “The central government has provided no information as to the disposition of its own case.”

  12. Almost Half of W Europeans Find Islam ‘Incompatible’ With Home Values – Poll (sputniknews, May 30, 2018)

“Research, conducted in Western Europe, has found that a large minority of respondents wouldn’t welcome a Muslim as well as a Jew into the family. Italy, the UK, Austria and Germany show the highest percentage of those against such an occurrence.

The recent survey, conducted in 15 Western European countries by the US-based non-partisan Pew Research Center, has revealed that people there have “mixed views on whether Islam is compatible with their country’s values and culture.”

The research showed that nearly a half (42%) of the respondents in these countries, describing themselves as churchgoing, non-practicing Christians or non-religious participants shared the point of view that “Islam is fundamentally incompatible with our values and culture.” While a quarter said immigrants from the Middle East are not honest, 38% voiced their support for reducing immigration.

Although majorities in the European countries claimed they wouldn’t mind accepting Muslims into their families and their neighborhoods, nearly a quarter of respondents rejected the idea of accepting a Muslim into their families. Italy with 43%, Britain with 36%, Austria (34 %) and Germany with 33% have the highest share.

The researchers state that “undercurrents of discomfort with multiculturalism are evident in Western European societies,” as most of the respondents voiced their support for restrictions on religious dress by Muslim women, many of whom fully cover their figures with burkas. Nearly a third of poll-participants in Italy, Belgium as well as a quarter of the Germans and Austrians surveyed, supported the prohibition of any Muslim clothing for women.

At the same time, nearly 17% of respondents said they are not willing to accept a Jew in their family. On this issue, Germany demonstrated the highest figures with 29%. Apart from this, the line-up is the same with Italy having 25%, while the UK and Austria show 23% and 21% respectively. Approximately 36% of Italians agreed that, “Jews always overstate how much they have suffered,” which is more than in any other country surveyed.

Sweden showed the lowest tolerance towards nationalist, anti-migrant and anti-minority sentiments.

The study, dedicated to religious beliefs on the continent where Protestantism originated and Catholicism has been based for centuries, was conducted from April-August 2017 as the Pew researchers surveyed almost 25,000 randomly selected adults who described themselves as either churchgoing, non-practicing Christians as well as religiously unaffiliated. Despite the assertion that Western Europe has become one of the world’s most secular regions, the Pew Researchers state that “the Christian identity in Europe remains a religious, social and cultural marker.”

European countries have been experiencing a migration crisis since 2015 due to the influx of thousands of migrants and refugees fleeing violence from their home countries in the Middle East and Northern Africa. In 2015 and 2016 alone, over 2.5 million people applied for asylum in the European Union. This triggered public discontent over the incumbent European authorities’ handling of the influx, while more and more people are now supporting politicians with a conservative and Eurosceptic agenda.

The Alternative for Germany party, advocating tougher stance on migration, secured a historic third place in the 2017 Parliamentary Elections in Germany, while the conservative Austrian People’s Party, led by Sebastian Kurz, won a parliamentary majority the same year. Just recently, the Eurosceptic Lega party performed better than expected during the Italian parliamentary elections within the coalition center-right Forza Italia and the Brothers of Italy movement, receiving 37% of votes, and received an opportunity to form a government in alliance with the Five Stars Movement (M5S), which garnered the best result in the elections with 32%.”

  13. France: Authorities begin eviction of Millennium migrant camp in Paris

At least 1,600 people lived in makeshift tents on the banks of the Canal Saint-Denis, in the north-east of the French capital. According to media reports, the camp’s inhabitants mostly came from countries in the Horn of Africa.

    • Just what Europe needs. Soros will be organizing its funding. The Chunnel has undermined totally the UK’s island status.

  14. George Soros: EU Should Deal With Refugee Crisis By Keeping Borders Open, Taking On Debt

Left-wing billionaire George Soros wants the European Union to deal with the continent’s refugee crisis by maintaining an open borders policy and running up the EU’s credit.

The EU should take on debt in order to help improve economics conditions in Africa, as part of its response to the ongoing refugee crisis, Soros argued in a speech at the European Council on Foreign Relations’s annual meeting on Tuesday.

    • He wants to ensure the collapse of Europe and speed the day that his left wing dictatorship can take over the world.

    • “Improve economic conditions in Africa?” What a joke! Has that moron ever lived there? Until Africa a finds some ethics, gets rid of islam and reduces the breeding, it will NEVER improve. The Asians laugh their heads off at them. With it all being the fault of the whites, Africans have free reign on victimhood with tribal loyalties being foremost make NO attempt to elect competent, honest politicians. Western politicians are almost honest by comparison (yes, I know…almost only).

      • Soros wants to increase the amount of EU debt to a level close to or exceeding the US debt, the EU isn’t collapsing fast enough to suit him so he wants to speed the collapse through massive borrowing. This will not only help destabilize Europe it will remove money that could be used by private industry from the borrowing market and reduce the amount available for the US to borrow.

With Soros and company never bother with what they are saying look at what the result of their actions would be.

THE HAGUE, Netherlands — Dutch police say they shot and wounded a man who was standing on the balcony of a residential apartment block and reportedly was waving an axe and shouting “Allahu akbar.”

In a series of tweets, Rotterdam police say the shooting happened early Wednesday afternoon in Schiedam when police tried unsuccessfully to calm the man. When an arrest team entered the apartment, the man attempted to attack them and injured a police dog.

Police say they are investigating the man’s background. His identity was not released.

The confrontation came a day after a man in Belgium attacked and killed two female police officers and fatally shot a passer-by.

  17. Golan Heights Recognition Thwarted By The Swamp
A move that would send a clear message to Iran.
    May 30, 2018
    Ari Lieberman

Last week, House Foreign Affairs Committee Member, Congressman Ron DeSantis (R.,-Fla.), proposed an amendment to the National Defense Authorization Act recognizing the Golan Heights as an integral part of Israel thereby validating Israel’s 1981 annexation of the territory. Though non-binding, the declarative resolution, which would have likely passed if brought to the House floor for a full vote, would have sent a strong message to the world, but chiefly Israel’s enemies, that after eight years of relentless hostility from the previous American administration, the US-Israel alliance is back on track and stronger than ever.

But for inexplicable reasons, the amendment didn’t pass muster with the House Rules Committee and consequently, never made it do the House floor for a full up or down vote. Sources close to the matter stated that the White House put pressure on Speaker Paul Ryan to kill the resolution and render it dead on arrival. The White House for its part denied playing any role in the shelving of the resolution claiming to have only recently become aware of its existence. When contacted by the Washington Free Beacon for comment on the matter, Speaker Ryan’s office remained uncharacteristically mute.

On the heels of President Donald Trump’s historic decision to recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital city and transfer the United States embassy there in compliance with U.S. law, a congressional resolution recognizing Israeli sovereignty over the Golan would have represented a powerful one-two combination. It would have signaled an end to past anachronistic foreign policies dictated by the swamp.

  18. Media Unhappy Trump Bragged About Killing 300 Russians
    May 30, 2018
    Daniel Greenfield

    Wait a minute.

I thought Trump was a secret Russian agent controlled by Moscow. And then the media suddenly pivots to its usual, “This Republican cowboy is upsetting our international enemies.” Maybe they’re the Russian traitors who should move to Moscow.

The details of the battle remain classified, but speaking to donors in midtown Manhattan last Wednesday, Trump said he was amazed by the performance of American F-18 pilots. He suggested that the strikes may have been as brief as “10 minutes” and taken out 100 to 300 Russians, according to a person briefed on the president’s remarks, which have not previously been reported.

How dare Trump offend Russia? Doesn’t he know that they rigged the election to help Hillary?

American officials have long feared that a clash with Russian forces in Syria would add tension to the already strained relationship between the two countries

5 seconds from now it’ll be calling him a traitor again.

  19. French magazine, president slam backlash evoked after putting Erdogan on its cover

French magazine Le Point said it had suffered harassment and intimidation by supporters of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan after it labelled him “The Dictator” on its front cover.

Police were deployed in the southern city of Avignon over the weekend after a group of pro-Erdo?an activists attempted to remove, then cover up advertisements for the magazine at newsstands, Agence France-Presse reported.

Another poster of the front cover—a portrait of Erdogan above the headline “The Dictator. How far will Erdogan go?”—was targeted at a newspaper kiosk in the town of Valence on May 27, Le Point said.

“After a week of harassment, insults, intimidation and anti-Semitic slurs and threats towards us on social media, now has come the moment when supporters of [Erdogan’s ruling] Justice and Development Party [AKP] are attacking symbols of freedom of expression and diversity in the press,” Le Point said on its website.

French President Emmanuel Macron rallied behind the magazine May 28 calling the harassment “totally unacceptable.”

“You cannot put a price on freedom of the press, without it, it’s dictatorship,” he tweeted.

The left-leaning weekly, one of France’s most popular news magazines, published an investigation into the Turkish strongman in its latest edition, which also included an editorial. “Is Erdogan a new Hitler?” it asked.

Turkish officials reacted almost immediately to the labeling of the top Turkish official.

“A French magazine called President Erdogan a ‘dictator,’” presidential spokesman Ibrahim Kalin wrote on his Twitter account on May 24.

“We know these attacks. We know what their purpose is. The nation and oppressed people see what is happening. The days that Turkey had taken instructions from you are over. You cannot bring them back by calling [Erdogan] a ‘dictator,’” he said.

Erdogan and the longtime ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP), which he co-founded in 2001, are seeking another mandate ahead of snap parliamentary and presidential polls on June 24.

The Turkish president imposed a state of emergency following an attempted coup in July 2016, which has sparked a crackdown affecting “hundreds of thousands of people,” including killings and torture, according to the United Nations rights office.

The report in March this year also warned about “a continued erosion of the rule of law and deterioration of the human rights situation,” including the arrests of hundreds of journalists and opposition members.

Ankara slammed the findings as “biased” and “unacceptable.”

Christophe Deloire, the head of media freedom group Reporters without Borders, said that the incidents in France were “isolated but have a strong symbolic resonance.”

One of the leading figures in France’s ruling Republic on the Move party, Richard Ferrand, called the protests in southern France an “unacceptable breach of the freedom of expression.”

“We are not going to tolerate in France that the front cover of a magazine be somehow censored under pressure,” he told the France 3 channel on May 27.

Many European countries are home to large Turkish-origin or migrant communities, but Germany, Austria and the Netherlands have barred Turkish politicians from electioneering in their countries.

Around three million expatriate Turks are allowed to vote in the elections next month, including 1.4 million in Germany.

A year ago Germany and other European countries also banned a series of planned Turkish campaign events for a referendum that extended Erdogan’s powers.

Erdogan at the time denounced Germany’s “Nazi practices” and accused it of harboring Kurdish “terrorists” and plotters of the failed coup against him.

  20. FACT CHECK: Yes, George Soros was a Nazi Collaborator
    May 29, 2018
    Daniel Greenfield

Since the media is once again insisting that Soros’ Nazi collaboration was a conspiracy theory, here’s George is in his own words on 60 Minutes.

KROFT: My understanding is that you went out with this protector of yours who swore that you were his adopted godson.

    Mr. SOROS: Yes. Yes.

KROFT: Went out, in fact, and helped in the confiscation of property from the Jews.

Mr. SOROS: Yes. That’s right. Yes.

KROFT: I mean, that’s — that sounds like an experience that would send lots of people to the psychiatric couch for many, many years. Was it difficult?

Mr. SOROS: Not — not at all. Not at all. Maybe as a child you don’t — you don’t see the connection. But it was — it created no — no problem at all.

    KROFT: No feeling of guilt?

    Mr. SOROS: No.

KROFT: For example that, ‘I’m Jewish and here I am, watching these people go. I could just as easily be there. I should be there.’ None of that?

Mr. SOROS: Well, of course I c — I could be on the other side or I could be the one from whom the thing is being taken away. But there was no sense that I shouldn’t be there, because that was — well, actually, in a funny way, it’s just like in markets — that if I weren’t there — of course, I wasn’t doing it, but somebody else would — would — would be taking it away anyhow. And it was the — whether I was there or not, I was only a spectator, the property was being taken away. So the — I had no role in taking away that property. So I had no sense of guilt.

Was Soros responsible for his actions at that age? He’s certainly responsible for his adult perceptions of them. And he’s been quite clear about that.

It’s not just that he felt no guilt over it. It was, in his own words, as, ” “the most exciting time of my life.”

    • Here is the attempt to whitewash Soros’ helping the Nazi’s, in my opinion a failed attempt.

  21. UK – London – Al quds day – June 10 2018 –

Protesters in London will not be barred from waving Hezbollah flags: police

Al Quds Day is an annual event held around the world in support of the Palestinian people

Protesters waving Hezbollah flags in London on June 10, which marks “Al Quds Day”, will not be banned from doing so, a statement from the police said on Wednesday.

Al Quds Day is an annual event held around the world during the period of Ramadan. Billed as a demonstration in support of the Palestinian people and against the existence of Israel, it began in 1979 when the Islamic Republic of Iran marked the day to express support for Palestinians and call for Israel’s demise.

The Jewish Chronicle reported that the police have sent a letter to British member of parliament, Louise Ellman, in which it says that Hezbollah’s political wing is legal in Britain.

Since the parliament has “consciously chosen” to outlaw Hezbollah’s armed wing and not the political, it can not bar protesters from waving a flag.

“Purely holding a flag does not necessarily incite religious or racial hatred. It is the words or actions of the person holding the flag that can cause incitement,” the letter added.

Ellman, who is also the deputy head of Labour Friends of Israel, responded by saying “We must remove this false and ludicrous distinction between Hezbollah’s political and military wings from UK law, and I would urge the new home secretary to take this action immediately. If we see the machine-gun adorned flag of an anti-Semitic terror group on London’s streets again this June it will be due to the inaction of the government – they must act now.”

In 2013 the EU decided to designate Hezbollah’s military wing as a terrorist entity but has since then refrained from including the political wing.

Earlier this year, 60 members of the EU parliament (MEP) urged High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Frederica Mogherini, to designate Hezbollah a terrorist organization in its entirety.

“It’s outrageous that the European Union still has not denounced Hezbollah in its entirety as a terrorist organization. Hezbollah’s growing arsenal and entanglement in regional conflicts severely destabilizes certain countries and the wider Middle East. It is high time to acknowledge that Islamist-inspired terrorism is not only a threat to the Middle East, but is also the top threat to Europe’s security,” co-signer of the letter and MEP Anders Vistisen said in March.

Joshua Boyle was quiet as he appeared for a bail hearing at an Ottawa courthouse on Monday. The former Taliban hostage faces 19 charges, including sexual assault and forcible confinement.

Boyle’s lawyers declined comment as they left court on Monday. The bail hearing will extend into Tuesday, when it is expected to conclude.

Boyle’s charges stem from alleged incidents that took place between Oct. 14, 2017 — shortly after Boyle and his family returned to Canada — and Dec. 30, 2017, when the charges were laid. He was arrested on Jan. 1.

Boyle’s parents were seen arriving at the courthouse to attend Monday’s hearing.

Inside the courtroom, Boyle quietly watched the proceedings and occasionally looked to people seated in the public gallery.

The question of Boyle’s mental fitness has already delayed the criminal proceeding against him on several occasions.

His lawyer, Lawrence Greenspon, has said Boyle received psychiatric treatment at a facility in Brockville, Ont., before he was returned to a detention centre. A doctor assessing Boyle had previously requested an extension to the 60-day period for a mental health assessment.

CTV legal analyst Ed Prutschi said it remains to be seen if Monday’s bail hearing will proceed.

“Assuming the answer to that is yes, we will then finally get to the issue of whether or not he should be released, and if so, under what conditions,” he told CTV News Channel on Monday.

“Very little information has actually come that can reveal to us what this is all about, where is it headed,” Prutschi added.

None of the charges have been proven in court.

Boyle appeared in court wearing a blue, long-sleeved buttoned shirt and a dark red vest and sporting the same short beard and hairstyle he has been photographed with since his return to Canada. He could be seen occasionally writing on a yellow notepad during the proceedings.

The hearing ran all day and hadn’t finished by 5 p.m. It is expected to resume Tuesday morning.

The details of the proceedings are under a publication ban.

  26. ‘You can’t wave English flag in the street!’ Demos director ATTACKS political correctness (express, May 30, 2018)

“ENGLISH people feel that they cannot wave the St George’s flag because of the connotations now attached to it, said a leading think tank director.

Sophie Gaston, the Deputy Director of Demos told TalkRADIO’s Chris Hollin that English people feel “that political correctness has made it difficult to be able to celebrate things that are important” including the English flag.

She said: “It is different for different people.

“In England, I do often have people in focus groups talking about the St. George’s flag feeling that perhaps there are now connotations around that flag.

“They feel they cannot be out waving that in the street. I think it can also be a sense of there being a dominant British culture – whatever that may be. Something that won’t change with the sands of time.

“Even as we become more diverse, there will be this very strong foundation and that might be, for example, less about Britain itself and more about ‘we are a Christian country’.

“So while we are welcoming these new faces and cultures, that we’re still able to say Merry Christmas.

“A lot of it comes down to the sense that political correctness has made it difficult to be able to really celebrate these things that are important to people.

“Nostalgia is a completely natural human condition and it has been very prominent in our politics and our society in waves over time.”

Earlier this year, Demos published research that found that in their focus groups, political correctness has “widely been seen to have been over-extended”.

The Demos report said: “It is now seen to be actively infringing on the foundations of the British society important to many citizens.

“Participants reported feeling that British politics and the media now focus too heavily on the rights and needs of minority groups.

“There is an absence of ‘fair exchange’ of tolerance between minority groups and dominant White British, Christian culture.””

  29. Bin Laden’s Return: Meet the Terrorist Threatening to Overthrow Saudi Monarchy (sputniknews, May 30, 2018)

“Hamza bin Laden, a son and heir to the infamous terrorist leader Osama bin Laden, has big plans for the future, including overthrowing the Saudi monarchy, capturing Islamic holy cities and taking revenge on the West for his father’s death. Speaking to Sputnik, Russian counterterrorism experts outline the dangers posed by the young jihadist.

Al-Qaeda* founder Osama bin Laden is known to have fathered at least 20 children, but is also known to have favored Hamza, who was born in 1989 to his wife Khairiah Sabar. Khairiah was one of bin Laden’s three wives at the Abbottabad compound in Pakistan where bin Laden senior was found and killed in May 2011 in a US special forces operation.

Valuing the religious fanaticism imbued in his son by his mother, bin Laden began using Hamza in al-Qaeda’s propaganda videos at an early age. In one video, a 9-year-old Hamza could be seen reading poetry about the “eternal struggle with the infidels.” After the US invasion of Afghanistan in 2001, the boy posed against coalition aircraft downed by the Taliban.

But it would be in the mid-2010s, after his father’s death and after Daesh (ISIS)* began taking over broad swathes of western Iraqi and eastern Syrian territory, that Hamza began what intelligence analysts suspect to be his rise to power in al-Qaeda’s ranks to the right hand of the terrorist group’s leader, Ayman al-Zawahiri. Hamza released his first audio message in 2015, calling on followers to wage jihad against Western capitals and Israel. In 2017, he released a video calling for improvised lone wolf attacks against Russians, Americans, Westerners and Jews alike.

But, according to intelligence experts, nowhere is concern with Hamza’s rise greater than in Saudi Arabia, where the young bin Laden has called for a tribal revolt against the monarchy. Riyadh’s recent efforts at moderate social reforms have further complicated the situation, with al-Qaeda taking advantage of conservative attitudes among some segments of Saudi society.

Speaking to Sputnik, Grigory Kosach, professor of Middle East studies at the Russian State University for the Humanities, pointed out that anytime Hamza bin Laden is mentioned in Saudi Arabia, it is always stressed that he is a terrorist and Saudi only by birth, not by citizenship, having been stripped of the latter in 2016 amid repeated denunciations of the monarchy. According to the expert, given the importance of the tribal structure and mentality of Saudi society, the al-Qaeda leader’s calls for an uprising against the monarchy, as dangerous as it is, is not without significance for Riyadh.

For his part, Alexei Makarkin, deputy director of the Center for Political Technologies and contributor at the Carnegie Moscow Center, told Sputnik that while Riyadh may indeed be faced with tribal rage at some point in the future, it’s unclear whether tribal leaders will want to listen to the young bin Laden…”

    • Non violent resistance can work as long as the Dictator doesn’t have people willing to kill large numbers of people for them. Don’t get the idea that no matter what non violent tactics are the only ones to use, they are the first ones to use and with luck you will never need anymore but if the government proves it has people who are willing to kill for it non violent resistance is not going to work.

      • Non violent resistance ONLY works in countries that have a claim and some actual proof to be democratic. In all other states it simply makes it easier to identify, round up and remove the opposition. Currently in the west there are very few truly democratic countries left and hence that video is idealistic nonsense. However I thank you for posting it as it is a classical example of intellectual idealism ignoring reality which actually defines the Left.
Pacifists are those who are willing to allow others to die to protect their right to remain pacifists. Hence they are primary parasites and can only exist in civilized states where a standing military protects them.
