  1. 5 Indian forces, 5 rebels killed in Kashmir fighting (abcnews, Mar 21, 2018)
    http://abcnews.go.com/International/wireStory/indian-forces-rebels-killed-kashmir-fighting-53901529

“A fierce gunbattle has killed five Indian government forces and five suspected militants in disputed Kashmir, officials said Wednesday.

The fighting erupted after government forces cordoned off a remote forested village in the mountains of northwestern Kupwara region on Tuesday following a tip that insurgents were hiding there, Kashmir police chief S.P. Vaid said.

Vaid said at least three insurgents were killed overnight and two others were killed Wednesday. Officials said they were continuing to search the area but the exchange of gunfire had stopped.

The government fatalities occurred on Wednesday. They consisted of two counterinsurgency police and three army soldiers. At least three police officials and a soldier were also wounded.

No rebel group immediately issued any statement about the fighting…”

  2. Turkey: Dozens held during Kurdish spring festival (abcnews, Mar 21, 2018)
    http://abcnews.go.com/International/wireStory/turkey-dozens-held-kurdish-spring-festival-53905378

“Police in Turkey have detained dozens of people for chanting slogans or unfurling banners in support of outlawed Kurdish rebels during celebrations marking the start of spring.

Festivities were held Wednesday in Istanbul, in the mainly Kurdish city of Diyarbakir and in several other towns and cities across Turkey, under tight security. Kurds traditionally use the March 21 festival, known as Newroz, to assert their ethnic identity and demand greater rights.

The state-run Anadolu Agency said 22 demonstrators were detained in Istanbul for alleged “propaganda” supporting the rebels and a Kurdish faction in Syria that Ankara also considers as terrorists.

At least 26 others were detained in Izmir and Adana, the agency reported. Police also broke up an unauthorized demonstration in the mainly Kurdish city of Batman.”

  3. 40 tons of chemical weapons left by militants found in Syria – Russian MoD (RT, Mar 21, 2018)
    https://www.rt.com/news/421919-chemical-weapons-militants-syria/

“Chemical weapon production facilities have been discovered in the areas liberated from militants in Syria, the Russian Defense Ministry says.

More than 40 tons of chemical weapons were abandoned by retreating militants in the war-ravaged country, the ministry said on Wednesday. “The Syrian Foreign Ministry pointed out that more than 40 tons of poisonous substances were found on the territories, liberated from terrorists,” Igor Kirillov, the commander of Russia’s Nuclear, Biological and Chemical Protection Forces, said on Wednesday.

The official was speaking at a press conference in Moscow concerning the poisoning of former Russian double agent Sergei Skripal. London and some of its Western allies blame the incident on Moscow, saying it has used a Russian-made nerve agent.

Kirillov said the West won’t back off and is prepared to use any means necessary to discredit Russia. The official recalled the example of Syria’s Khan Shaykhun.

The commander also criticized the international bodies for their refusal to work with Damascus in investigating the alleged chemical attacks in the country.

In late February, the Russian Reconciliation Center in Syria said it had obtained information that militants in the Damascus suburb of Eastern Ghouta had been “preparing a provocation with the use of poisonous substances in order to blame the government forces of using chemical weapons against civilians.”

The release of this data “has foiled the plans of the US-led coalition to strike key Syrian military targets in order to change the balance of power in favor of the so-called ‘moderate opposition,” he said.

“The shift in focus of the 87th session of the OPCW (Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons) Executive Council from the Syrian chemical dossier to the unsubstantiated accusations against Russia over the chemical attack in Salisbury and the violation of the Chemical Weapons Convention only confirms the conclusion that the coalition’s goals have been thwarted,” Kirillov noted.

The alleged chemical attack in Khan Shaykhun in the Idlib Governorate took place on April 4, 2017 in an area controlled by Al-Nusra Front terrorist group. Up to 100 civilians were said to have been killed by sarin gas, released in an airstrike by Syrian government forces. Washington immediately rushed to blame Damascus for the attack and fired 59 Tomahawk cruise missiles at the Shayrat Airbase, claiming it was the very compound from which jets allegedly armed with the chemical took off.

Syria, which was confirmed to have destroyed its sarin stockpiles under a deal brokered between Russia and the US in 2013, has denied the American accusations. Russia also pointed out that thorough impartial investigation of the incident never took place, with OPCW experts refusing to visit Khan Shaykhun. It has argued that the attack could have been staged.”

  4. As Facebook faces a crisis related to a user data scandal and the 2016 election, it seems appropriate to reflect on Facebook’s COO Sheryl Sandberg telling Clinton campaign manager John Podesta that she wanted Hillary to “win badly.”
In a May 2015 email thread, Hillary Clinton’s campaign manager John Podesta offered his condolences for the sudden death of Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg’s husband, Dave Goldberg. Sandberg thanked Podesta for his kind words, then affirmed her desire to “help” Clinton win the 2016 election. She mentioned a home visit where Clinton interacted with her children. “I still want HRC [Hillary Rodham Clinton] to win badly,” she wrote. “I am still here to help as I can. She came over and was magical with my kids.”

Previous batches of leaked emails revealed that Sandberg offered to put Podesta in contact with Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg, stating that Zuckerberg was interested in influencing policies relating to “social oriented objectives (like immigration, education or basic scientific research).” Podesta appears to have at least arranged that meeting; his assistant emailed him in August 2015 with directions to Zuckerberg’s office.Further emails showed a meeting between Sandberg and Podesta was organized to “step through the research on gender and leadership by women.”

    http://www.breitbart.com/tech/2018/03/20/flashback-facebook-coo-wanted-to-help-john-podesta-elect-hillary-clinton/

    • … Facebook’s COO Sheryl Sandberg telling Clinton campaign manager John Podesta that she wanted Hillary to “win badly.

Sandberg should be ecstatic. After all, Hillary went on to “win badly”. If fact, she won so “badly” that she didn’t win at all.

There is a supreme irony in Hillary convincing herself that she could coast to victory, resting on 0bama’s and Bill’s laurels. Doing so (just as with Sandberg’s own admission) required substantial amounts of Magical Thinking™. Not that this brand of self-delusion is any stranger to the Left.

Just Hillary’s nomination by the DNC—amidst some of the most pervasive political corruption America has seen in this past century—demonstrated sufficient amounts of Magical Thinking to where everyone involved should have applied the brakes and performed a complete fact-based reassessment.

Instead, everyone in this band of shysters, footpads, and snake oil sellers managed to persuade themselves that things were just ducky, all the way right up to election night.

Wishing that things were a particular way, does not make them so. Worst of all is how Hillary’s mindset isn’t just the usual wishful thinking, it is Social Engineering based on outright fantasy“. Should anyone need proof of this, merely examine how Hillary has yet to accept even a scintilla of blame for her election loss.

      • It’s all so very strange.

  5. More Than Half a Million Foreign Citizens Entitled to Vote in Sweden (sputniknews, Mar 21, 2018)
    https://sputniknews.com/europe/201803211062753025-sweden-voting-foreign-citizens/

“The percentage of foreign nationals eligible for voting is rising in Sweden, having recently surpassed 7 percent of the population. Although the voter turnout among those born abroad tends to be low, they are a force that can affect the outcome of the election.

About 578,000 foreign nationals are entitled to vote in upcoming municipal and county elections in Sweden, a nation of 10 million, figures from Statistics Sweden (SCB) have shown. This is 123,000 more than in the previous election, held in 2014.

Haparanda municipality in northern Sweden is in the lead; 27 percent of the population eligible to vote are foreign nationals. On the other end of the scale is Öckerö municipality in Västra Götaland County in western Sweden, with only 2 percent. The national average, however, is 7.4 percent.

According to Swedish law, foreign citizens are entitled to vote in elections to municipal and county councils. To qualify for the voting process, one must have been registered in Sweden for at least three consecutive years before the election. However, many foreign nationals have forfeited this opportunity so far.

“Generally speaking, voting among foreigners is significantly lower than among ethnic Swedes,” Mehrdad Darvishpour, assistant professor in social work at Mälardalen University, explained, as quoted by the 24Helsingborg news outlet.

According to Darvishpour, the low turnout depends on a number of factors, including whether they hail from a democratic society or a dictatorship, how long they have lived in the country, as well as their socio-economic conditions. Even such aspects as whether the person feels at home in Swedish society should be considered.

“A combination of spreading more knowledge, a clear inclusive anti-discrimination message and promoting more people with foreign descent as role models could increase the motivation among foreign-born voters,” Darvishpour argued.

The Swedish government has previously declared measures to increase voter turnout among the foreign-born, targeting, above all, blighted areas with a high percentage of immigrants. Earlier in March, about 20 organizations across the Nordic country were granted a total of SEK 8.5 million ($1.1 million) in a nationwide effort to persuade disaffected voters to cast their ballots in the upcoming election in September. Likewise, special effort will be invested to bring more women to polling stations, as it was previously found that they are often prevented from voting by their “patriarchal” surroundings.

Previous experience showed that immigrant-dominated areas tend to vote predominantly for the left-wing parties, such as the ruling red-green coalition of the Social Democrats and the Greens and the Left.

“The socialists are doubling down to get more immigrants to vote in the 2018 election. Looking at the results from Tensta [a blighted migrant-dense area in Greater Stockholm], you understand why,” Conservative politician Zagros Hama, whose motto is “Make Sweden Powerful Again,” tweeted.”

  6. ‘We Need Your Help, America’: New Swedish Right-Wing Party Issues Call for Help (sputniknews, Mar 21, 2018)
    https://sputniknews.com/europe/201803211062747518-sweden-usa-help/

“A fresh fundraising video by the newly-founded Alternative for Sweden, which models itself as a “repatriation party,” is specifically aimed at the US and the millions of American voters who put Donald Trump in the White House.

Alternative for Sweden (AfS), the newly-founded right-wing party, has launched an international fund-raising campaign to help finance its election campaign, directed at like-minded movements across the world, its press-release has said.

AfS leader Gustav Kasselstrand described his party as an “up-and-comer in Swedish politics,” which is why it was only natural for it to finance its election campaign using “new innovative ways.”

“Meanwhile, the state-funded establishment parties collect billions of taxpayers’ money each year in a rigged system that effectively aims to exclude new political parties,” Kasselstrand said.

He described the international fundraising campaign as a “call to action for patriots all over the world” to help AfS save “their beloved country” from the brink of complete chaos.

The first video of the fundraising campaign targets the US, where millions of American voters, referred to as “the silent majority,” “changed the course of the nation” by putting Donald Trump in charge. American votes for Trump are credited in the video with the victory over “a corrupt establishment” (with an image of Hillary Clinton superimposed).

“Donald Trump was right when, during a joint press conference with the Swedish Prime Minister, he said that ‘immigration has certainly caused problems in Sweden,'” Kasselstrand said in the press-release, stressing his confidence that people all over the world will contribute to AfS’s campaign and help enable its entry into the Swedish parliament in September 2018…”

  7. Terrorism Threat Level in Finland Remains ‘Elevated’ Due to Daesh Activity (sputniknews, Mar 21, 2018)
    https://sputniknews.com/europe/201803211062759303-terrorism-threat-level-finland-daesh/

“HELSINKI (Sputnik) – The terrorism threat level in Finland has remained “elevated” since last summer due to the activity of the Daesh terrorist group, which continues to attempt recruiting new members in the country, Director of the Finnish Security Intelligence Service (Supo) said on Wednesday.

“The IS [Daesh*] is still capable of promoting [its ideology] and of recruiting new members in an effective manner and with the use of modern means, though, it has become much weaker. Since summer 2017, Finland has been subject to IS propaganda in Finnish, to propaganda that was adapted to the Finnish environment,” Antti Pelttari said on the sidelines of a conference devoted to problems with Finland’s national security.

Pelttari added that a total of 370 individuals, who posed a potential terrorist threat, remained under police surveillance.

He further indicated that it had registered several attempts by foreign countries to carry out cyberattacks on Finnish companies in 2017.

“Foreign states seek to steal information, including information about critical infrastructure in Finland and the latest developments [in the fields of science and industry],” Pelttari added.

In June 2017, Supo raised its terrorism threat level from “low” to “elevated.” Commenting on the issue, the agency said that the greatest threat to the country’s national security was the activity of individuals and groups motivated by radical Islamist propaganda.”

A smiling baby with a thick head of black hair, Ingrid Ronan Johnson was born to a Miccosukee mother and a white father, inside Baptist Hospital in Kendall.

Two days later, police detectives arrived at the hospital acting on a court order to remove the baby from the new parents.

The order was not signed by a Florida judge, but by a tribal court judge on a reservation 32 miles away in the heart of the Everglades. The cops were from the Miccosukee police force, a department whose jurisdiction covers mainly the reservation and properties owned by the tribe.

The hospital on Sunday allowed the baby to be taken away.

The parents, Rebecca Sanders and Justin Johnson, are now heartbroken and outraged — filing complaints with Miami-Dade police, state prosecutors and the U.S. Bureau of Indian Affairs. On Tuesday, they told the Miami Herald that the tribal court order was a sham, concocted by the baby’s vengeful maternal grandmother, Betty Osceola, who simply did not want a white father to be a part of the child’s life.

  9. A Russian foreign ministry official said on Wednesday that Britain may have “orchestrated an attack” on Russian citizen Yulia Skripal, the daughter of Russian former spy Sergei Skripal.
“Logic suggests that there are only two possible things,” Vladimir Yermakov, head of the ministry’s non-proliferation and arms control department, told a meeting with foreign ambassadors based in Moscow.

“Either the British authorities are not able to provide protection from such a, let’s say, terrorist attack on their soil, or they, whether directly or indirectly, I am not accusing anyone, have orchestrated an attack on a Russian citizen”, Yermakov said.

  10. London Police Edit ‘Thought Crime’ Threat After Ridicule Online (breitbart, Mar 21, 2018)
    http://www.breitbart.com/london/2018/03/20/london-police-edit-thought-crime-threat-ridicule-online/

“People can be “charged” with an “offence” if their actions are within the law but their “reasons for doing it” are perceived as illegal hate by others, London police have said, before withdrawing the claim.

Social media users began drawing attention to the Metropolitan force’s new, and highly unusual, definition of a ‘hate crime’ on the 16th of this month. It remained like that until the 18th, according to Google cache, before the police edited it again on Monday.

The definition did not match that given by the College of Policing or Crown Prosecution Service, and critics online claimed it could be read as a threat against “thought crimes”….”

  11. Dutch Tourists ‘Drugged, Gang Raped’ by ‘African Descent’ Men on Trip to Belgium (breitbart, Mar 21, 2018)
    http://www.breitbart.com/london/2018/03/21/dutch-tourists-gang-raped-belgium/

“Four men “of African descent” have been arrested on suspicion of subjecting two Dutch tourists to a “horrifying” three-hour gang rape ordeal, local media reports.

Investigators believe the alleged victims were drugged while on a night out at discotheque Roxy in Antwerp on Friday night before the attack took place.

The women, aged 21 and 22 from Leiden, told police the last thing they remember from the evening is being at the nightclub, describing “just one black hole” in place of where memories should be.

Four men in their twenties described in reports as being of African descent were subsequently arrested on suspicion of rape, one of whom — named in local media as Mohamed S. — was picked up by police when he returned to the hotel in the evening and was stopped by the manager.

“My client let himself get carried away by his friends”, his lawyer Luc Verheyen told Het Laatste Nieuws. “He immediately regretted his actions Saturday. That is why he returned to that hotel. To talk with the victims.”

The 22-year-old confessed when questioned by police, according to Verheyen, who said: “At the start of the interrogation he burst into tears. The police confronted him with the victims’ terrible story.

“What these young women had to go through for three hours is simply horrific.”

Mohamed S. said that he and a friend had entered the room of the alleged victims after giving them a lift to their hotel at around 5am, and other friends of the men later joined them.

“One thing led to another”, according to the Antwerp resident, who told police that he and all the men ended up raping the women despite them saying “stop”.

“They did not really struggle too much, as they kept falling asleep while we were busy,” he said, stating that the women were in a deep sleep when he and his friends left the hotel.

The other three suspects under arrest, whose names were handed to police by Mohamed S., deny assaulting the women. Meanwhile, a spokesman for the Public Prosecution Service said it is in the interests of the investigation not to comment on reports there were five men involved in the gang rape.

Around 200 women each year report having been gang-raped in Belgium to police, but almost half of cases are dropped — usually due to insufficient evidence, according to Het Laatste Nieuws.”

  12. ‘Islam Makes Little Contribution to Identity of Europe’: Merkel Party Ally (breitbart, Mar 21, 2018)
    http://www.breitbart.com/london/2018/03/21/merkel-party-ally-islam-little-contribution-identity-europe/

“A senior politician in German Chancellor Angela Merkel’s Union has said that Islam “makes little contribution” to the foundation of Europe and that Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán “holds the key” to solving the EU’s migrant problems.

“Islam belongs just as little to Europe as it belongs to Germany,” Christian Social Union (CSU) of Bavaria Vice-Chairman Manfred Weber told German newspaper Die Welt.

“Of course, today Muslims are part of Europe. On the positive side, there is a debate about the leading culture in Germany. Europe needs this debate too. We must defend our European lifestyle globally,” he added.

The vice-president of the ally party of the Chancellor’s Christian Democratic Union (CDU) made the comments after Merkel’s staunch insistence that Islam “belongs to Germany”.

Merkel’s pronounce came directly after CSU leader Horst Seehofer told media that “Islam does not belong to Germany. Germany has been shaped by Christianity” on Friday.

Mr. Weber made the point that religious freedom is a “cornerstone” of German society, but that “Islam makes little contribution to the foundations and identity of this continent”.

When asked by Die Welt what has contributed to the foundations and identity of the continent, Weber identified Christianity amongst other classical liberal values.

“These include fundamental Christian values and education, equal rights for men and women, freedom of the media, democracy and the rule of law, and the social and ecological market economy.

“These basic principles are applied throughout Europe. In the majority of Muslim states, they are not part of the reality of life,” the Bavarian party member observed…”

But its struggle offers valuable lessons for Canada’s own battle to liberate itself from colonial laws, Justice Minister Jody Wilson-Raybould says.

The minister, who finished a week-long visit to South Africa on the weekend, is leading a working group of federal ministers to decolonize Canada’s laws and policies on Indigenous people. And she says the postapartheid journey in South Africa offers “many important insights” and “parallels” for Canada to study.

“For many Indigenous peoples, celebrating our country’s 150th birthday has its challenges,” said Ms. Wilson-Raybould, herself a long-time aboriginal leader in British Columbia.

  18. GoV – Poor Jordan Peterson

    by Dymphna

He truly believes in the myth of the soi-disant “moderate” Muslim.

Perhaps our Canadian readers can take up a collection to buy for Dr. Peterson the definitive book on Sharia law:

    Reliance of the Traveller

    […]

I’d say that the Koran is not the first thing to read, but rather the endpoint of any scholar’s study. Unless one understands how abrogation works, the mish-mash of the Koran is confusing.

Dr. Peterson will no doubt understand that concept (if he learns of it) since his scholarly digging into the early stories of the Bible (the Creation stories, Cain and Abel, et al) allowed him to understand their distillation as oral traditions long before they came to be written down. One thing my Scripture studies taught me was how fraught the process of textual codification must needs always be. By the time the threads of oral tradition have been woven into a luminous tapestry, the more unlikely or unverified strands have been removed.

Thus, while some people wanted The Gospel of Thomas codified as “the fifth gospel”, it didn’t make the final cut. For more information on this book, see here.

At any rate, Dr. Peterson has so far proved to be a man who follows the path of truth as far as any scholar I know. On the other hand, how will he learn about taqiyyah if he’s going to listen only to “moderate” Muslims? We can appreciate how very difficult it is to let go of that hope, since the Baron and I held onto it at first. Jesus said the truth will set you free; he forgot to add that on first learning it, the truth can make you darn miserable.

We will continue to hope that some Canadian can find a way to get a copy of “Traveller” to JBP. Sooner rather than later. Here’s the Canadian Amazon link.

  20. Loose Canons
    Putin’s Death Squads

We all know why he gets away with it.

Murder is a common tool of dictators and despots. They order people to be killed to suppress dissent, to punish opponents, and sometimes for sport. But we know of only two — North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un and Russian president-for-life Vladimir Putin — who have used chemical weapons to assassinate individuals.

The only difference between the acts of Kim and Putin and the mass killings using poison gas we’ve seen in the Middle East — by Saddam in Iraq and by Bashar Assad in Syria — is the number of people killed.

Putin’s history of using chemical and radioactive weapons to kill goes back at least to 2003 when Yuri Shchekochikhin was poisoned with Polonium 210 in Moscow. He was a Putin opponent. In November 2006, Alexander Litvinenko, a former Russian intelligence agent and dissident, was poisoned by someone slipping Polonium 210 into his food in a London restaurant.

It’s only when such assassinations (and assassination attempts) happen among us — in Western nations — that we pay attention, and then only for the briefest of periods. The most recent happened on March 4 when Sergei Skripal and his daughter, Yulia, were found on a park bench in Salisbury, England. Skripal was a former GRU colonel who acted as a double agent, supplying Russian secrets to the Brits (and us) for years. After he was caught, the Putin regime exchanged him and three others in 2010 for a four-person spy ring caught operating in the United States.

  23. TERROR WARNING: 30,000 people in Europe may be in terrorist networks, Europol chief warns (express, Mar 21, 2018)
    https://www.express.co.uk/news/world/935206/terror-warning-europe-europol-isis-westminster-attack-anniversary

“TENS of thousands of people living in Europe could be part of terrorist networks, the European Union’s law enforcement boss has warned on the eve of the one-year anniversary of the Westminster terror attack.

Up to 30,000 people have been radicalised and are part of terror cells or communities which could be inspired by groups such as Islamic State (ISIS), Europol director Rob Wainwright said.

In an interview with Bulgarian television, the Briton warned of an “explosion of terrorist activity in recent years”, adding there is “very complex” range of threats facing the EU.

Sofia-based news agency Novinite quoted Mr Wainwright as saying: “About 30,000 people in Europe are potentially part of terrorist communities.

“Things are not that clear. These people are inspired, but are not subordinate to an ‘Islamic state’.”

Mr Wainwright also warned Europe was facing a new generation of threats, including cyber attacks and danger posed by “many groups that resemble mafias in many countries”…”

  24. The Media’s Facebook Hysteria and Double Standards
When the Left hailed the genius of Obama for exploiting the data of millions.
    March 21, 2018
    Joseph Klein

Facebook is grappling with the fallout from its alleged role in permitting the London-based data firm Cambridge Analytica to gain access to data from profiles of more than 50 million Facebook users for political purposes. The Facebook data reportedly was mined for data by an app called “thisisyourdigitallife,” presumably for an academic research project. The app was created by Aleksandr Kogan, a Russian-American academic at Cambridge University, and his company Global Science Research. The data was then transferred by the researcher to Cambridge Analytica, which worked for the Trump presidential campaign and was backed by Steve Bannon and the conservative billionaire Robert Mercer. Cambridge Analytica claims that the Facebook data it gathered from the app was not used for the 2016 Trump presidential election campaign. Facebook claims that its user profile data was provided to Cambridge Analytica without its knowledge. Facebook also claims that it shut the app down in 2015.

There are reports the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) is investigating whether Facebook violated terms of a 2011 consent decree in connection with the transfer of user data to Cambridge Analytica. A spokesperson for the FTC would neither confirm nor deny whether it was launching such an investigation.

Members of Congress and United Kingdom lawmakers have called on Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg to explain Facebook’s actions and his company’s connections with Cambridge Analytica. The hit to Facebook’s reputation and the potential for increased government regulation on both sides of the Atlantic are taking its toll. Facebook’s stock value has taken a nosedive as a result.

  25. Nation of Islam Member Shouting, “Allahu Akbar” Attacked Family, as, “White Demons”
    March 21, 2018
    Daniel Greenfield

That’s the Nation of Islam, the racist hate group whose leader had met with Obama and the Congressional Black Caucus, and who had been praised by Women’s March leaders. I’m guessing they don’t have much to say about this.

A Florida man allegedly shouted “Allah Akbar” repeatedly as police arrested him for shooting his wife, stabbing his two children, and setting his house ablaze.

Police arrested Ronnie Oneal, who identifies as a member of The Nation of Islam, at the house of his partner Kenyatta Barron, in Riverview, Fla., in response to a 911 call from Barron claiming that she had been shot, according to Tampa Bay Times.

Officers found Barron dying of a gunshot wound in the front yard of a neighboring house. Firefighters were responding to a fire set in Barron’s house and found Barron and Oneal’s 9-year-old son, Ronnie Oneal IV, alive but suffering from burns and stab wounds and the couple’s 11-year-old daughter dead from stab wounds.

The dispatcher who answered Barron’s call allegedly said she could hear a male yelling “Allah Akbar” in the background, according to Fox13. Minutes after Barron’s call, Oneal called police, saying, “I’ve just been attacked by some white demons. Her name is Ke-Ke and she tried to kill me and I just killed her.”

  26. Bernie Sides with Iran’s Mullahs
The Left’s romance with the Islamic Republic ensues.
    March 21, 2018
    Kenneth R. Timmerman

The Senate debated on Tuesday a resolution introduced by Vermont Socialist Bernie Sanders that would require the withdrawal of U.S. troops from Yemen.

The surprising support the resolution won from 44 U.S. Senators handed a big win to Iran, which is engaged in a hot war with Saudi Arabia on the Arabian Peninsula. And it was a huge slap in the face to Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman, who was meeting with President Trump in the White House as the Senate debated the motion on the floor.

It also showed the extreme damage recent scandals involving NSA snooping and political bias at the FBI have done to the credibility of the United States government, which lobbied heavily against the resolution.

Let there be no doubt: the only reason the United States has any interest in the civil war that has been raging in Yemen since 2012 is because of the Iranian regime support for the Houthi rebels.

The Houthis have fired Iranian-supplied missiles at the Saudi capital, Riyadh. They have targeted civilian airports, as well as royal palaces. As I wrote earlier this year, imagine for an instant if a hostile regional power were to stir up a civil war in Mexico or Canada, with the ultimate aim of destabilizing the U.S.?

  27. Who’s Really Behind March for Our Lives?
Instead of March for Our Lives, maybe it’s time to March for the Truth?
    March 21, 2018
    Daniel Greenfield

    Follow the money.

It’s a strange political fact, but nearly every major anti-gun group has been a front group. The NRA is maligned 24/7 and yet it’s completely obvious whom it represents. Despite the efforts to tie it to everyone from firearms manufacturers to the Russians (if you can’t tie any random Republican thing to the Russians these days, you won’t be working at the Washington Post or CNN for very long), it represents its five million members. Anti-gun groups tend to represent shadowy networks.

Take Everytown, the noisiest and most dishonest anti-gun group on the scene. The one consistent thing about anti-gun groups is that that they are usually the opposite of what their name says they are.

Everytown for Gun Safety was formed out of two other groups: Moms Demand Action and Mayors Against Illegal Guns. Both are actually front groups for Michael Bloomberg, the lefty billionaire and former boss of the Big Apple, who used New York City resources to host at least one of its websites.

So Everytown is really New York City.

The activist wing of the Green party, Greenpeace, has failed again to renew its charity status.

Greenpeace’s application to be registered as a charity has been declined.

The independent Charities Registration Board says they came to the decision because Greenpeace “does not advance exclusively charitable purposes”.

“The Board considers that Greenpeace has an independent purpose to promote its own particular views about the environment and other issues,” it said in a statement.

It says Greenpeace does not advance a public benefit in a way that has been previously deemed charitable by the courts.

  29. Virginia Delegate Supports Code of Ethics to Rein In Teachers’ Political Activism
Protecting American school children from being indoctrinated instead of educated.
    March 21, 2018
    Penny Starr

Before thousands of school children poured out of schools across the country last week to demand “gun control,” the resolution introduced by Republican member of the Virginia House of Delegates Dave LaRock might not have gained a lot of attention.

The National School Walkout on Wednesday was organized by left-wing groups, including the Women’s March and Planned Parenthood, and was meant to “honor” the 17 people who died last month after a former student with mental health issues went on a shooting spree at a Florida high school.

In many places, including Washington, DC, the walkout turned into protests where young students threatened lawmakers and demanded the gun control agenda of those left-wing groups who organized them.

But now the resolution LaRock introduced in January seems like an idea that is desperately needed to protect American school children from being indoctrinated instead of educated.

LaRock explained in an interview on Breitbart News Saturday with Washington Deputy Political Editor Amanda House on SiriusXM Patriot 125 that his resolution asks the Board of Education to come up with a code of ethics for teachers in grades K-12.

    • Upon hearing this news, my high school kid asked, “Is that like when my history teacher tells the class that Republicans are racist? ” Son’s dad asks if he’d like us to intervene. NO! I ask how that statement made him or his classmates feel. Response: No one really cares what the teacher says and besides most of the class are from families that aren’t legally allowed to register to vote.

  31. Cops Investigate Mother for Having Negative Opinion of Teen’s Sex Reassignment Surgery

03/13/2018 Source: Christian Post by: Brandon Showalter

Police in England interrogated a stay-at-home mom for tweeting her disapproval of sex reassignment surgery for a minor, a move some say indicates alarming governmental censorship of free speech, especially speech related to transgenderism.

Kellie-Jay Keen-Minshull, a self-described feminist and mother of four, was contacted by police in early February because Susie Green, CEO of Mermaids, a U.K.-based charity that supports transgender persons, had reported her to them in July. Twitter supplied Keen-Minshull’s details to the police and the officer told her she was a “test case” in a new “human rights” fight they were undertaking.

This “test case” came as a result of comments Keen-Minshull made on social media. Specifically at issue were tweets critical of transgenderism, postings where she referenced how Green had taken her son to Thailand to have his genitals removed when he was 16. He was reportedly the youngest person in the world to undergo sex reassignment surgery. Green’s son is said to have been prescribed puberty blockers by a doctor in Boston at age 12, and Jackie Green — who was born Jack — told the Daily Mail in 2012 that he has always been and never doubted he was a girl.

  32. Now-fired former FBI deputy director Andrew McCabe oversaw a federal criminal investigation into whether Attorney General Jeff Sessions lacked candor when testifying before Congress last year about his contacts with Russian officials, a source familiar with the investigation tells CBS News’ Paula Reid. Sessions fired McCabe late Friday, at the recommendation of FBI officials.

The investigation was opened before special counsel Robert Mueller was appointed, Reid reports. A Justice Department official says Sessions was not aware of this investigation until he found out about it from reports.

ABC News first reported that McCabe had been in charge of the investigation into Sessions. Sessions’ testimony raised alarm bells, but this is the first time it has been reported that there was actually a criminal probe of Sessions’ actions.
