  1. Obama used executive powers to benefit close friends’ private investment firms: Book

President Obama used his executive powers to attack industries to lower the value of certain companies, allowing his friends in the private sector to swoop in and buy them up at reduced prices, according to Peter Schweizer’s new book Secret Empires: How Our Politicians Hide Corruption and Enrich Their Families and Friends.

The book, released Tuesday, said Obama and his administration would deem industries either destructive to the environment or exploitative for the financial and professional gain of his friends, including industries such as coal mining, offshore drilling, cash advance companies, and for-profit colleges.

The book highlighted Marty Nesbitt and Harreld Kirkpatrick III, both former basketball players and close friends of the Obamas, who launched their private equity investment firm Vistria in sync with Obama’s re-election in 2012.

Unlike other investment funds that avoid highly regulated industries, Vistria was specifically focused on the fields that Obama was busy regulating.

“A curious pattern began to emerge,” Schweizer said in his book. “Obama and his administration would attack industries with government power, which led to substantially lower valuations for these companies. Nesbitt and Vistria, or others close to Obama, could then acquire those assets for pennies on the dollar.”

  3. Omnibus Bill Blocks Penalties for Illegal-Immigrant ‘Sanctuary Cities’

The draft 2018 omnibus bill denies President Donald Trump explicit authority to withhold federal grants from the Democratic-dominated “sanctuary cities” which are trying to secede from the nation’s immigration laws, say Hill sources.
There is “nothing in the omnibus bill to stop funding for the sanctuary cities,” said a source. “It will just be a continuation of the status quo” because Democrats threatened to torpedo the funding bill if it included new rules allowing administration officials to block federal funding to the cities which shield illegals from deportation, the source said.

Federal funding cuts would be “a huge financial hit for Democratic strongholds … [and] I just think that [GOP leaders] don’t want to have the fight,” said Rosemary Jenks, policy director at NumbersUSA.

The pending rejection comes even though Trump took time on Tuesday to denounce sanctuary cities, presaging a likely midterm election theme. “We’re going to win it, it should be easy, but it’s not,” Trump said to his deputies in a media event. “It’s so basic, it’s called law and order and safety and we’re going to have it in our country.”

  4. Germany: Migrant Rape Crisis Still Sowing Terror and Destruction
Women and children sacrificed on the altar of political correctness

The director of the Criminal Police Association, André Schulz, estimates that up to 90% of the sex crimes committed in Germany do not appear in the official statistics.

“There is a strict order by the authorities to not report on crimes committed by refugees,” a high-ranking police official in Frankfurt told Bild. “Only specific requests from media representatives about such acts are to be answered.”

Germany’s migrant sex-crime problem is being exacerbated by its lenient legal system, in which offenders receive relatively light sentences, even for serious crimes. In many instances, individuals who are arrested for sex crimes are released after questioning from police. This practice allows suspects to continue committing crimes with virtual impunity.

Free State farm manager stabbed to death, wife allegedly raped

Bloemfontein – Two men stabbed a 40-year-old farm manager to death and allegedly raped his wife at their home on a farm outside Ladybrand in the Free State, police said on Tuesday.

The couple had returned home when the two men pounced and attacked them, before using twine to tie them to a fence, spokesperson Warrant Officer Loraine Earle said.

They demanded money and the keys to the couple’s vehicle.

“Both husband and wife had already sustained stab wounds by this time and the husband said the wife should give them what they want. The suspects took her to the house.

    • White S African Farmers Claim ‘Brutal’ Attacks Amid Motion on Land Confiscation (sputniknews, Mar 21, 2018)
      https://sputniknews.com/africa/201803211062764375-south-africa-white-farmers-attacks/

“With a planned confiscation of white-owned land without compensation already on the South African parliament’s table, reports claim that at least one white farmer has been killed every five days in the country this year.

White farmers in South Africa have claimed that they are being targeted in an increasing spate of “brutal” attacks which are being denied by the country’s government, according to The Independent.

The UK newspaper cited activists as saying that 2018 has already seen 90 such attacks and that at least one white South African farmer currently dies in these assaults every five days, a figure that has never officially been confirmed.

Separately, the Independent singled out 35-year-old Gabriel Stols, one of the victims of these attacks, whose younger brother was killed by four unknown assailants in South Africa’s judicial capital of Bloemfontein in October 2017.

“What is happening to us is torture, it is slaughter, it is brutal – it is revenge. The world doesn’t know what is happening in South Africa,” Stols pointed out.

His remarks came after the South African parliament approved a motion by the opposition party, the Economic Freedom Fighters, to change the country’s constitution in order to pave the way for a planned confiscation of white-owned land without compensation.

Supported by the ruling African National Congress and President Cyril Ramaphosa, the motion prompted white farmers in South Africa to cry foul.

This fell on the deaf ears of the government, which claims that murders of white farmers are simply one aspect of the crime-related problems the country is currently facing.
Confiscating land from whites became a key point in Ramaphosa’s program after his predecessor Jacob Zuma was toppled in February, 2018. When introducing the motion, the head of the Economic Freedom Fighters party Julius Malema, for his part, described the law as mere retribution targeting the “criminals who stole our land.”

According to the South African government audit, the country’s white minority currently owns 72 percent of the nation’s farmland.”

  13. University of Wisconsin campus proposes elimination of majors such as English, history
By Rebecca Savransky – 03/21/18 07:55 AM EDT

The University of Wisconsin at Stevens Point is reportedly discussing a plan to eliminate 13 majors including English, philosophy, history and Spanish.

The campus — one of 11 campuses in the University of Wisconsin system — would instead focus on programs that have “clear career pathways,” The Washington Post reported.

Under the proposal, the school would expand areas such as marketing, management, graphic design and computer information systems — areas that “have demonstrated value and demand in the region,” according to the school.

The school’s administration is framing the idea as a way to increase its declining enrollment and to deal with a multimillion-dollar deficit, according to the Post.

  15. The world is descending into tyranny

It wasn’t supposed to happen this way. After the Soviet Union’s collapse in 1991, democracy was supposed to be irresistible. While some of us were more skeptical than others, even cynics allowed that freedom seemed to have the upper hand.

Instead, barely a quarter-century along, democracy and political freedoms are newly embattled, as one society after another defaults to reborn tyranny, striding behind religious extremism, xenophobic nationalism — or both.

On Sunday, Vladimir Putin was re-elected as Russia’s president with almost 77 percent of the vote. With his relentlessly propagandized image at home, Putin would have won a free election, but that wouldn’t have been enough: He feels the need of an unassailable mandate, of recognition as his country’s savior. So serious opposition candidates were excluded (and one murdered), while ballot box

    https://nypost.com/2018/03/20/the-world-is-descending-into-tyranny/

    • He is right in all he is saying although I think China and Iran are higher ranking threats then Russia (who is a threat). He also ignores the threat of tyranny from out home grown leftists who (unlike Putin and Xi) do what to control all aspects of our lives and thoughts.

They are stripping all freedom from the citizens of the Western Nations and are replacing it with a Stalinist/Maoist type government. They have been semi patient in their goal and have quietly taken control of our educational systems and the corporate news sources. Technology has advanced to the point that the latter are rapidly becoming irreverent in our new high tech world and the left is seeking to take control of the net to shut down the alternate news sources.

What the left didn’t count on is Donald Trump and a few other politicians who are 1) appealing to so many people the Deep State in the Western Nations are unable to fix the elections without being as obvious as Putin was in the recent Russian Election. 2)are using social media against the left.

The latter is causing the left to have public breakdowns since they thought that with the election of Barrack Obama (who used social media) they would have a monopoly on the use of social media to inform people on the pending problems and possible solutions. Because Trump has proved to be a master of this communication medium they are seeking to establish government control of the social media so they can silence him and others who disagree with them.

Lt. Col. Peters is a brilliant man who is correctly worried about Putin and Russia, unfortunately he is also a never Trumper who is letting his dislike for Trump color his thoughts and actions. He also makes one mistake about Putin, he says Putin can’t be trusted, on the contrary Putin can be trusted to do what he considers to be in the best interest of Russia, which in his mind means what is in the best interest of Putin. Recognizing this fact and recognizing that he wants to rebuild the Czarist Russian Empire not the USSR but the Czarist Russian Empire makes him semi predictable. Another thing about him is that he (like about 99% of all leftists) thinks life and business is a zero sum game where one side has to lose makes him more dangerous but also more predictable. The inability to see that there can be win/win situations is a major weakness of the left that we have to learn how to exploit.

      • Another thing about him is that he (like about 99% of all leftists) thinks life and business is a zero sum game where one side has to lose makes him more dangerous but also more predictable.

Anyone who subscribes to the Zero-Sum Game is a commie at heart. Humanity would never have gotten this far if all life was based on win-lose situations. Long ago, people learned to find mutually beneficial outcomes.

One specific reason the USSR collapsed was due to its reliance on the Zero-Sum Equation. It appears as though (through adoption of Free Market economics) Communist China is just narrowly missing the same sort of economic disintegration. Only time will tell, as Beijing continues to create and expand an already bloated, top-heavy bureaucracy that still could kill Red China.

The inability to see that there can be win/win situations is a major weakness of the left that we have to learn how to exploit.

Again, this over-dependency upon ensuring that there always will be losers in the sociopolitical process represents a golden opportunity for some strategic jujitsu. I envision forcing the Left into making either–or choices that routinely DO NOT work out.

In this manner, Liberals will not only provide numerous object lessons about the superiority of win–win solutions, even as they thoroughly discredit themselves. Talk about a win–win!!!

  17. Identical twins and ‘carousels’: Russia’s fairground election

UST-DJEGUTA, Russia (Reuters) – Ludmila Sklyarevskaya, a Russian hospital administrator, voted on Sunday in an election that gave Vladimir Putin another term as Russia’s president.

Then she went to another polling station and voted again, according to Reuters reporters who witnessed her movements.

Sklyarevskaya, who denied any wrongdoing, was among 17 people who were photographed by Reuters apparently casting ballots at more than one polling station Sunday in the town of Ust-Djeguta, southern Russia.

Many appeared to be state employees, and some showed up in groups and in mini buses bearing the names of state-provided services.

An employee at the hospital where Sklyarevskaya worked confirmed the woman captured in photos at the two polling stations was Sklyarevskaya and identified her as the hospital’s deputy director of health and safety.

  18. Israel admits bombing suspected Syrian nuclear reactor in 2007, warns Iran

JERUSALEM (Reuters) – Israel for the first time admitted that it bombed a suspected Syrian nuclear reactor in 2007 and said on Wednesday the strike should be a warning to Iran that it would not be allowed to develop nuclear weapons.

The Israeli military released previously classified cockpit footage, photographs and intelligence documents about its Sept. 6, 2007, air strike on the Al-Kubar facility near Deir al-Zor in eastern Syria.

It said the reactor was being built with help from North Korea and the facility had been months away from activation. Reuters has been unable to immediately verify the Israeli material.

Israel’s decision to go public comes after repeated calls in recent months by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for the United States and international community to take tougher action on Iran, Syria’s ally.

Israel’s intelligence minister, Israel Katz, said on Twitter: “The (2007) operation and its success made clear that Israel will never allow nuclear weaponry to be in the hands of those who threaten its existence – Syria then, and Iran today.”

  19. Dog-paddling behind a bomber in Austin
    By J.E. Dyer March 21, 2018

The police may well know more than they’re letting on, if they are as certain as they sound that the latest ka-blam-involved injury event in Austin is not related to the previous bomb attacks.

I put it in those silly terms for a reason. The police haven’t said in plain English what the dang thing was that went blooey and hurt a “man in his 30s,” who apparently handled the blooey-going item at a Goodwill in southwest Austin. The Austin police came out after the initial report of an explosion and said it wasn’t an explosion. The man was injured by an “incendiary device.”

  20. McCain hammers Trump for congratulating Putin, was mum when Obama did same thing in 2012
By Joe Newby March 21, 2018

On Tuesday, John McCain, the senator from Arizona who campaigns as a Republican but otherwise acts as a liberal Democrat, slammed President Trump for congratulating Russian President Vladimir Putin on his election victory.

“An American president does not lead the Free World by congratulating dictators on winning sham elections,” he said in a statement posted to his official site.

“And by doing so with Vladimir Putin, President Trump insulted every Russian citizen who was denied the right to vote in a free and fair election to determine their country’s future, including the countless Russian patriots who have risked so much to protest and resist Putin’s regime,” he added.

It’s interesting to note that Trump’s predecessor, Barack Obama, also congratulated Putin when he won his election in 2012, even though that election was called into question.

According to a 2012 post at Foreign Policy:

  21. Gold and silver are money. But most governments treat precious metals like a commodity. They don’t accept it as payment. Worse than that, they tax it. Think about the absurdity of this policy. You don’t tax money!

Fortunately, we’re beginning to see a shift. Many states are repealing taxes on gold and silver, and treating precious metals more like money. Wyoming is the latest state to reform its laws.

These policies not only ease the burden on investors, it opens the door to use gold and silver in everyday transactions, a foundational step for the people to undermine the Federal Reserve’s monopoly on money.

Last week, a Wyoming bill that defines gold and silver specie as legal tender and eliminates all taxes levied on it became law without the governor’s signature.

    https://schiffgold.com/key-gold-news/new-wyoming-legal-tender-law-recognizes-gold-and-silver-as-money/

    • Now we have to repeal the law that Jimmy Carter got passed that says all commercial transactions using gold must be down at the $50.00 per ounce valuation. The left took us off the precious metal standards and outlawed the use of precious metals to establish that monopoly, we are going to have a hard time getting that monopoly broken.

    • What a brilliant and outspoken young woman! All that the West needs is several thousand million more like her.

  22. Kabul Bombing Kills 31 in Holiday Crowd, Officials Say

KABUL, Afghanistan — A suicide bomber killed at least 31 people among a crowd in Kabul celebrating the Persian New Year on Wednesday, according to Afghan government officials.

Nasrat Rahimi, the deputy spokesman for the Ministry of Interior, initially said that a suicide bomber on foot detonated his explosives in front of the Ali Abad Hospital, in the Kart-e Sakhi area of western Kabul. Wahid Majrooh, the spokesman for the Ministry of Public Health, put the death toll at 31, with 65 wounded.

There were reports that the bomber had tried but failed to reach an even bigger crowd celebrating the Persian New Year, known as Nowruz, in front of a nearby Shiite shrine in Kart-e Sakhi.

Author and the Centre for Inquiry planning free ebook versions of his books in Arabic, Urdu, Farsi and Indonesian following a ‘stirring towards atheism’ in some Islamic countries

Richard Dawkins is responding to what he called the “stirring towards atheism” in some Islamic countries with a programme to make free downloads of his books available in Arabic, Urdu, Farsi and Indonesian.

The scientist and atheist said he was “greatly encouraged” to learn that the unofficial Arabic pdf of the book had been downloaded 13m times. Dawkins writes in The God Delusion about his wish that the “open-minded people” who read it will “break free of the vice of religion altogether”. It has sold 3.3m copies worldwide since it was published in 2006 – far fewer than the number of Arabic copies that Dawkins believes to have been downloaded illegally.

  25. Iraq holding more than 19,000 because of IS, militant ties (abcnews, Mar 21, 2018)
    http://abcnews.go.com/International/wireStory/iraq-holds-19000-islamic-state-militant-links-53896339

“Iraq has detained or imprisoned at least 19,000 people accused of connections to the Islamic State group or other terror-related offenses, and sentenced more than 3,000 of them to death, according to an analysis by The Associated Press.

The mass incarceration and speed of guilty verdicts raise concerns over potential miscarriages of justice — and worries that jailed militants are recruiting within the general prison population to build new extremist networks.

The AP count is based partially on an analysis of a spreadsheet listing all 27,849 people imprisoned in Iraq as of late January, provided by an official who requested anonymity because he was not authorized to speak to the media. Thousands more also are believed to be held in detention by other bodies, including the Federal Police, military intelligence and Kurdish forces. Those exact figures could not be immediately obtained.

The AP determined that 8,861 of the prisoners listed in the spreadsheet were convicted of terrorism-related charges since the beginning of 2013 — arrests overwhelmingly likely to be linked to the Islamic State group, according to an intelligence figure in Baghdad.

In addition, another 11,000 people currently are being detained by the intelligence branch of the Interior Ministry, undergoing interrogation or awaiting trial, a second intelligence official said. Both intelligence officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to brief the press.

“There’s been great overcrowding … Iraq needs a large number of investigators and judges to resolve this issue,” Fadhel al-Gharwari, a member of Iraqi’s parliament-appointed human rights commission, told the AP.

Al-Gharwari said many legal proceedings have been delayed because the country lacks the resources to respond to the spike in incarcerations.

Large numbers of Iraqis were detained during the 2000s, when the U.S. and Iraqi governments were battling Sunni militants, including al-Qaida, and Shiite militias. In 2007, at the height of the fighting, the U.S. military held 25,000 detainees. The spreadsheet obtained by the AP showed that about 6,000 people arrested on terror charges before 2013 still are serving those sentences.

But the current wave of detentions has hit the Iraqi justice system much harder because past arrests were spread out over a much longer period and the largest numbers of detainees were held by the American military, with only a portion sent to Iraqi courts and the rest released.

Human Rights Watch warned in November that the broad use of terrorism laws meant those with minimal connections to the Islamic State group are caught up in prosecutions alongside those behind the worst abuses. The group estimated a similar number of detainees and prisoners — about 20,000 in all.

“Based on all my meetings with senior government officials, I get the sense that no one — perhaps not even the prime minster himself — knows the full number of detainees,” said Belkis Wille, the organization’s senior Iraq researcher.

Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi, who is running to retain his position in national elections slated for May, has repeatedly called for accelerated death sentences for those charged with terrorism…”

  28. Germany: Frankfurt station hosts terror drills as police stay alert

Armed police units and emergency service personnel took part in a series of training drills for potential terror attacks in Frankfurt’s main railway station during the early hours of Wednesday.

Among the exercises included pulling citizens to safety, treating injuries at the scene and nullifying terrorist threats.

Germany remains a prime target for terror activity and governments from around the world offer their citizens advice when travelling following a series of attacks in recent years.

  29. The newspaper’s online report about CISO Alex Stamos originally referred to COO Sheryl Sandberg, but was ‘quietly’ altered.

In the dustup over Facebook Chief Information Security Officer Alex Stamos’ “reassignment” within the social media giant’s hierarchy, The New York Times originally reported his efforts for greater transparency involving Russian “meddling” in the 2016 election were rebuffed by higher-ups in the company, including Chief Operating Officer Sheryl Sandberg.

But, “quietly,” that reference was removed—as a number of media observers noted—without a correction notice, driving speculation Facebook may have forced “The Gray Lady” to alter its coverage of the story. Now the Law&Crime blog has confirmed those suspicions:

“Three reporters worked on the New York Times story regarding Stamos’ eventual ouster: Nicole Perlroth, Sheera Frenkel and Scott Shane … Neither Frenkel nor Shane responded to repeat requests for comment.

“Perlroth, however, confirmed that the change occurred after Facebook’s public relations team reached out to the New York Times—some time after the story was published.

    • CBC – Service Canada moves away from calling Canadians Mr., Mrs., or Ms.

Front-line workers asked to use gender-neutral term ‘parent’ instead of mother or father

Service Canada employees who interact with the public are being asked to stay away from terms like Mr., Mrs., father and mother, and to use gender-neutral terms in their place, CBC News has learned.

According to documents obtained by Radio Canada, the French-language arm of CBC, front-line staff must now “use gender-neutral language or gender-inclusive language.”

“This avoids portraying a perceived bias toward a particular sex or gender,” says a copy of speaking notes prepared for managers and team leaders.

“It is important that Service Canada, as an organization, reflects Canada’s diverse population and ensures that the views and interests of Canadians are taken into account when we develop policies, programs, services and initiatives,” says the directive.

The new guidelines also rule out using terms such as mother and father because they are “gender specific” and say the neutral word “parent” should be used instead.

The same goes for honorifics such as Mr., Mrs., and Ms., and in both languages. Instead, employees are being directed to address customers by their full names or ask them what they want to be called.

Social Development Minister Jean-Yves Duclos, whose department oversees Service Canada, took to Twitter Wednesday to clarify that agents can still call people Mr. or Ms. if that’s what the caller prefers.

“We are only confirming how people want to be addressed as a matter of respect,” he said.

Service Canada helps Canadians connect with a variety of government programs, including Employment Insurance, the Canada Pension Plan and Old Age Security.

      Updating government forms

According to an official — who asked to remain anonymous because they are not authorized to speak on the issue — the new directive is already in place and has led to some difficult situations for civil servants.

“It happens that we talk to people and we ask, ‘What is the name of parent number one?’ People do not understand,” said the official.

Helen Kennedy, executive director of the LGBT rights group Egale Canada, said her group is “very pleased” to hear about the changes. She said people who don’t fit into “neat boxes” often have uncomfortable and negative experiences accessing government programs.

She also urged the government to provide staff with training on why it’s important to properly gender people.

“Otherwise there will be a state of CONFUSION,” she said.

Conservative MP and Treasury Board critic Gérard Deltell said there are more important issues for the government to concentrate on right now.

“Maybe one day this government will decide to cancel each and every Mother’s Day or a Father’s Day,” he said.

In addition to the changes in how staff interact with the public, the directive indicates that Service Canada is also in the process of amending some service forms, including the Social Insurance Number application form.

Canadians are already able to identify as gender ‘X’ on their passports.

The new directive also includes a warning that AGENCY EMPLOYEES WILL BE OSERVED TO ENSURE THEY ARE FOLLOWING THE PROTOCOLS

“Going forward, the proper use of gender-neutral language will also be added to the observations in the In-Person Quality Monitoring Program,” the directive said.

Earlier this year, a same-sex couple from Nova Scotia called for Service Canada to update its forms so men don’t have to declare a “maiden name” in order to get social insurance numbers for their children.

Nick Bonnar and Graham MacDonnell said they ran into a roadblock when an agent told them they had to provide a maiden name to complete and process the electronic form.

Last summer, the Liberal government passed a law enshrining protections for transgender Canadians. The bill updates the Canadian Human Rights Act and the Criminal Code to include the terms “gender identity” and “gender expression.”

  31. The majority of the 110 Nigerian schoolgirls kidnapped by militants in the town of Dapchi last month have been returned, the government says.

A presidential aide said 101 schoolgirls were dropped back in the town in the early hours of Wednesday.

The government said the army allowed the militants through, so “lives were not lost”, but denied paying a ransom.

However, reports suggest at least five girls died during their kidnapping, and that a Christian girl remains captive.

One of the freed girls, in a phone conversation with a relative, said the five had been crushed to death as they were herded into vehicles and driven away.

The girl said they were taken into the bush, to an “enclosed place”. When asked whether they were well fed, she said they had to cook their own food.

The government did not make any mention of deaths.

  32. (Washington, DC) – Judicial Watch today announced that Justice Department refuses to release the proposed budget of Robert Mueller’s Special Counsel Office. Judicial Watch is seeking the information through a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit.

Judicial Watch sought “the copy of the budget prepared or submitted” by Special Counsel Robert Mueller. But, on Friday, January 19, the Justice Department notified Judicial Watch that it refuses to turn over documents, stating: “seven pages were located that contain records responsive to your … request. We have determined that this material should be withheld in full because it is protected from disclosure under the FOIA.” The Justice Department asserts the Mueller budget information cannot be released because its release could interfere with “law enforcement proceedings” and the material is protected from disclosure by the “deliberative process privilege.”

  33. Europe is full, which means that its borders must be protected, Prime Minister Viktor Orban told reporters in Parliament on Tuesday after talks with Manfred Weber, group leader of the European People’s Party.

Because of this, the Hungarian government will only back new regulations on migration that guarantee the protection of Europe’s borders, Orban said.

This position is reflected in the proposals Hungary has submitted to the EU in connection with the amendment of the bloc’s asylum regulations, he said. Orban added that the current regulations were centred more on the distribution of migrants.

  34. A study of 32 gang rape cases committed by 43 offenders, shows that almost all of them have a migrant background, Swedish newspaper Expressen reports.

The newspaper researched cases of the years 2016-2017, during which 43 offenders were sentenced. Statistics showed that 32 of the group were born in another country. Ten were born in Sweden with one or both parents born abroad and only one was born in Sweden with two parents who were also born in Sweden.

According to Expressen, 42 out of 43 sentenced offenders have a migrant background and 13 of them had not even reached the age of 18 at the time of the crime. Perpetrators of gang rape were on average 21 years old and 32 per cent were previously sentenced for other crimes in Sweden.

    • When the commentator was talking he talked about the wars in ancient times, what isn’t taught anymore is that throughout all of history war is the norm. The only reason we know peace is possible is that there are periodic breaks in the wars so both sides can catch their breaths, rebuild their military and build new weapons. The long period of peace that nuclear weapons brought is coming to an end, it won’t be long before everyone in the US who loves the US will be wishing that the US government had kept funding the research into missile defense and that all of the defenses that were planned for the SDI were in place.

I don’t know what classified weapons the military has managed to build but I pray we have enough of them to protect the US during the coming decades of war.

The new set of traffic lights were unveiled on Monday and see Marx lit up in green and red.

“Trier is showing its colours for Marx,” Mayor Wolfram Leibe said.
