“For many years, the mainstream media has denied the existence of No Go Zones across various European countries. This is despite heavily migrant populated neighbourhoods turning into areas of high crime and danger for police and public alike.
This week, German Chancellor Angela Merkel shocked the world by admitting that even Germany, which has taken in well over a million migrants since the 2015 migrant crisis, has no-go zones.
Merkel, who was described as the “leader of the free world” by left-wing publication the Independent after the election of U.S. President Donald Trump, is only the latest European leader to recognize the problems within migrant enclaves.
Whether they are called no-go zones, vulnerable areas, as in Sweden, or sensitive urban areas (ZUS), as in France, their existence has become undeniable.
Here are three times the mainstream media has denied the very existence of any no-go areas across Europe:
1. CNN Slammed Republican Bobby Jindal for Mentioning No-Go Zones in 2015
In January 2015, then-Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal spoke out about the formation of no-go zones across the European continent, saying he had “heard from folks here that there are neighbourhoods where women don’t feel comfortable going in without veils … We all know that there are neighbourhoods where police are less likely to go into.”
CNN published attacks on Jindal including an article entitled, “Europeans use lawsuits, laughter to knock down ‘no go’ claims,” in which the network dismissed Jindal’s claims.
CNN’s Laura Akhoun said the Paris area of Belleville, where she grew up, was not a no-go zone.
She did not mention the migrant-populated suburbs of Seine-Saint-Denis famous for rioting and criminality to the point that the French publicly-owned courier Chronopost refuses to deliver to certain neighbourhoods in the area, for fear of employees being attacked.
CNN anchor Anderson Cooper later apologised for the fact CNN had reported for the two years prior that no-go zones did, in fact, exist.
2. Buzzfeed Denied No-Go Zones Exist in Sweden
In January 2017, left-wing website Buzzfeed released an article claiming that no-go zones in Sweden were “a myth”. The article claimed that while there are a number of “vulnerable areas” designated by police for their rampant criminality, no-go zones do not exist because they are not “Islamic no-go zones”.
Swedish police estimated there to be 61 no-go areas across the country. Despite Buzzfeed’s claim that the areas are not linked to mass migration, many of the no-go suburbs like Rinkeby, Husby, and Tensta in Stockholm and Rosengård in Malmö are well-known for a large number, if not a majority, of their residents having a “migration background”.
The issue of criminality in the migrant-heavy suburbs has become so bad that Swedish prime minister Stefan Löfven has not ruled out using the military to help police regain control.
Video has even emerged online showing police in no-go zones being attacked and insulted by residents of the areas.
3. CNN’s Andrew Kaczynski Attacked U.S. Ambassador to the Netherlands Pete Hoekstra For Mentioning No-Go Zones
In January of this year, host of CNN’s Kfile Andrew Kaczynski attacked freshly appointed U.S. ambassador to the Netherlands Pete Hoekstra for mentioning no-go zones in 2015. In an article on the broadcaster’s website, Kaczynski stated flat-out: “There is no evidence to support claims of so-called ‘no-go zones’ in Europe.”
Breitbart London was able to prove that the majority of the claims Hoekstra made were largely correct, including the fact that politicians have been threatened or even killed for having stances against Islamisation and mass migration.
Kaczynski’s claims were also ridiculed by Breitbart London editor-in-chief Raheem Kassam, who had previously written an entire book on the emergence of no-go zones across Europe and areas emerging in the United States.”

McCabe is Under Internal DOJ Probe for Allegedly Approving Leaks to Media
An internal investigation is launched against former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe after new reports suggests he authorized government leaks to the media.
According to the two reports released Friday, a Justice Department watchdog group will investigate allegations.
McCabe allegedly allowed FBI officials to speak to the media about ongoing investigations, including a probe into the Clinton Foundation prior to the 2016 election.
The classified information was then published in two Wall Street Journal articles.
McCabe allegedly misled watchdog investigators when they initially asked about the media disclosures
The DOJ inspector general is expected to release the reported finding in the coming weeks.

North Korea threatens to ‘counter’ U.S. over military drills
SEOUL (Reuters) – North Korea threatened on Saturday to “counter the U.S.” if the United States holds joint military exercises with South Korea, and said it would not beg for talks with Washington.
The United States is due to start joint exercises in early April, a South Korean presidential security adviser said this week according to Yonhap news agency – the latest in a series of drills that the north has regularly described as a threat.
“If the U.S. finally holds joint military exercises while keeping sanctions on the DPRK, the DPRK will counter the U.S. by its own mode of counteraction and the U.S. will be made to own all responsibilities for the ensuing consequences,” North Korea’s official KCNA news agency said in its commentary, saying the drills would harm reconciliation efforts on the peninsula.
The DPRK is the acronym of the country’s official name, the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea.
On Feb. 23, the United States said it was imposing its largest package of sanctions to pressure North Korea to give up its nuclear and missile programs. President Donald Trump warned of a“phase two” that could be “very, very unfortunate for the world” if the steps did not work.

As you read the articles about North Korea and what looks like an inevitable war between China and India remember that both are in the Northern Hemisphere and if war comes a lot of the fighting will occur in the Mountains. That means that it will probably not happen until warmer weather we fought a winter war in Korea once and would rather wait until warm weather to do anymore fighting.
We also want to keep the possibility of a war between India and China in mind when thinking about the possible reactions to our taking out Kim and his nuclear program. This would leave China facing a three front land war (if Nam decides to come into the war) and a multi front Naval war with two of their enemies having first class Navy’s. We also need to keep the way Xi is purging the Chinese government, communist party and military of people who aren’t loyal to him. This leaves China with a weakened military that hasn’t really faced a war in a long time fighting against two land armies (India and the US) that has combat experienced officers and NCO’s to lead their forces. China also has to consider what will happen to their artificial islands when the fighting starts. Do they spread their forces out in penny packets where they can be defeated in detail or do they let the people who are fighting against them take and possibly destroy their artificial islands.
China’s only possible allies are Pakistan and Russia and Russia is tied up in the Middle East. The last wars that India and Pakistan fought were easy wins for India and after the wars they pulled back into Indian territory but now they are talking about how it is time to bring West India (Pakistan) back under Indian control.

I pointed out that China would be facing a 3 front land war if Nam comes into the war. Take that idea further, does anyone think that if/when China is losing the war big time that the small nations Laos, Cambodia Thiland etc won’t join the alliance to grab some of the Chinese land that borders them? China is use to being the big bully in the school yard, now they are discovering that a bigger stronger nation is being forced to take in interest in their area. A nation that now has a leader that isn’t afraid of them and one that will stand up to them rather then blustering a lot and backing down. This is giving the smaller nations around China the leadership they want to stand up to China and possibly make a lot of moves against China. I also left the Taiwanese out of the analysis, they will move on China if they think the war is going to be fought to a full surrender of China.
China has been talking big and Xi is moving to consolidate total power in China, the big question is can he stay out of a war when we move on North Korea? The answer to this one will determine ho big the war in the far east will become, if he doesn’t I think a major lose for China is a given. Also consider the question of which nation is going to go bankrupt first, China or India? Also ask your self what China will look like after the bankruptcy of Communist China and its collapse.

Putin tells U.S. to send evidence of vote meddling
MOSCOW (Reuters) – Russian President Vladimir Putin told Washington to send him hard evidence that his citizens meddled in U.S. elections, mocking accusations to date as “yelling and hollering in the United States Congress”.
The office of U.S. Special Counsel Robert Mueller charged 13 Russians and three firms last month with interfering in the 2016 presidential vote as part of what it called a conspiracy to support Donald Trump and disparage Hillary Clinton.
“I have to see first what they’ve done. Give us materials, give us information,” Putin said in an interview with NBC TV aired late on Friday, according to an English voice-over of his words.
“We can not respond to that if they do not violate Russian laws,” Putin told NBC’s Megyn Kelly, when asked whether Moscow would take action against the named individuals.
Kelly listed some of the accusations of Russian interference made by Mueller’s office and other U.S. officials, including the spreading of false information online.
“With all due respect for you personally, with all due respect for Congress, you must have people with legal degrees, 100 percent you do,” Putin said smiling.

DOJ Inspector General: McCabe authorized leaks about Clinton probe, then misled investigators

The Department of Justice’s internal watchdog will criticize former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe for authorizing leaks to the media and giving misleading statements to investigators about doing so, according to two new reports.
McCabe, 49, authorized FBI officials to speak to the media for articles prior to the 2016 election, including one about an ongoing investigation into the Clinton Foundation, according to a report being prepared by Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz.
The FBI No. 2 also misled watchdog investigators when they initially asked about the media disclosures, according to The Washington Post.
The New York Times also reported details of Horowitz’s report, which is expected to be released in March or April.
McCabe stepped down as deputy director in January after FBI Director Christopher Wray was briefed on Horowitz’s findings. An Obama appointee, Horowitz has been investigating the FBI’s handling of the Clinton email investigation since Jan. 2017.

FBI denies secret Comey-Obama meeting, raises issues of integrity and public trust

The FBI states it will not expedite the release of documents about secret meetings between FBI Director James Comey and former President Barack Obama, according to a letter the bureau sent to The Daily Caller News Foundation.
Such information is not “a matter of widespread and exceptional media interest in which there exists possible questions about the government’s integrity which affects public confidence,” David Hardy, the Section Chief for the bureau’s Record/Information Dissemination Section, told TheDCNF in a Feb. 26 letter.
TheDCNF, under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), requested records of all meetings between Comey and Obama and sought an “expedited process” as provided under the act when issues are of great interest to the media and the records address issues pertaining to government integrity. TheDCNF FOIA request was filed Feb. 16, 2018.
The issue prompting the FOIA request was the disclosure that Comey held a secret Oval Office meeting with Obama on Jan. 5, 2017. Comey never divulged the meeting to Congress.

Secret Service confirms man shot himself outside White House
The Secret Service confirmed Saturday that an unidentified man shot himself outside of the White House along the north fence line.
The agency tweeted Saturday that medical personnel were responding to a male victim outside the north fence line who had suffered a self-inflicted gunshot wound. There was no immediate word on the victim’s condition.
President Trump, who is in Florida, was briefed shortly after the incident.
“We’re aware of the incident. The president has been briefed,” deputy press secretary Hogan Gidley told reporters.
The Secret Service said that no other injuries were reported at the scene, but that vehicular and pedestrian traffic were affected by the shooting.
WTOP reported that White House staff were instructed to shelter in place Saturday after the shooting.

Ex-CIA chief: Trump ‘unstable, inept, inexperienced, and also unethical’
Former CIA chief John Brennan on Friday predicted “rough waters ahead,” particularly on international issues, saying President Trump is “unstable, inept, inexperienced, and also unethical.”
In an interview with MSNBC’s “Deadline: White House,” Brennan told host Nicolle Wallace that the president was “ill prepared” to take on the duties of commander in chief, particularly growing military aggression from Russia and North Korea.
“It is no secret to anybody that Donald Trump was very ill prepared and unexperienced in terms of dealing with matters that a head of state needs to deal with, head of government, and I think this is now coming to roost,” Brennan said.
“Our country needs to have confidence that we’re going to be able to deal with [Russian President Vladimir] Putin, who is flexing his muscles once again on the military front, that we can deal with North Korea, that we can deal with these issues. And if we have somebody in the Oval Office who is unstable, inept, inexperienced, and also unethical — we really have rough waters ahead.”
The former CIA chief under President Obama went on to hit Trump for tweeting at actor Alec Baldwin over his “Saturday Night Live” impression of the president rather than responding to Putin, who announced the previous day the development of missiles he claimed would render defense systems “useless.”
“When I hear what Vladimir Putin was saying just yesterday about the nuclear capabilities he has, the president of the United States is tweeting about Alec Baldwin this morning, I mean, where is your sense of priorities?” Brennan asked.
“I think a lot of Americans are looking at what’s happening with a sense of — this is surreal.”
The Russian leader told lawmakers this week that new intercontinental ballistic missiles developed by the country could reach almost any target in the world.
“I want to tell all those who have fueled the arms race over the last 15 years, sought to win unilateral advantages over Russia, introduced unlawful sanctions aimed to contain our country’s development … you have failed to contain Russia,” he said.
White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders dismissed Putin’s comments in a statement to CNN.
“President Putin has confirmed what the United States government has known all along, which Russia has denied. Russia has been developing destabilizing weapons systems for over a decade, in direct violation of its treaty obligations.”

The media is intent on urgently reporting and discussing the importance of the temporarily reduced security clearance of Trump advisor and son-in-law Jared Kushner.
But when Obama Deputy National Security Advisor Ben Rhodes was actually denied security clearance in 2008, the media yawned. Actually, it never even reported something this newsworthy and, apparently, if the media doesn’t report it, it doesn’t happen.
Recall that Rhodes was not only a high-level advisor to Obama, but he was the architect of the now-infamous Iran nukes deal involving cases of cash flown on a plane to Tehran while creating a pathway for nukes to the repressive, terrorist, Islamist regime. Further, he was the one who misled Congress and the public on the terms of the agreement.
Yet it was not until January 2017, days before Obama was out of office, that the Washington Free Beacon reported:

Social media has reacted with outrage after a pregnant Frenchwoman was fined €60 (£54; $74) for walking the wrong way at a Paris metro station.
The ticket was issued when she tried to shorten her journey by walking counter to a one-way system at Concorde.

Three men have been charged with manslaughter and arson over an explosion in Leicester that left five people dead, say police.
Three members of the same family died when the shop and flat were destroyed last Sunday.
Five people were also taken to hospital after the blast, one of whom suffered critical injuries.
Arum Kurd, of Leicester, Hawkar Hassan, of Coventry, and Arkan Ali, of Oldham, are due in court on Monday.

Two undetonated explosive devices were found Thursday attached to a ferry at a popular Mexican tourist destination where several Americans were injured in a separate explosion last month.
Mexican officials said they are investigating the explosive founds in the ferry that runs between Playa del Carmen and Cozumel, while the U.S. embassy in Mexico issued a security alert.
“U.S. government employees are prohibited from using all tourist ferries on this route until further notice. Mexican and U.S. law enforcement continue to investigate,” the embassy said in the alert.

The House Committee on Science Space and Technology released a report on Thursday detailing how Russia has been using social media platforms to disrupt domestic energy markets and influence domestic energy policies.
The 21-page report includes Russian posts on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram, some with photographs and slogans.
“The committee began investigating Russian attempts to influence U.S. energy markets in the summer of 2017 when Chairman [Lamar] Smith wrote [to] the Secretary of Treasury regarding Russia’s intricate money-laundering scheme. Russian-sponsored agents funneled money to U.S. environmental organizations in an attempt to portray energy companies in a negative way and disrupt domestic energy markets,” the report states.

VoA-Afghan Forces Claim They Captured a German National Working for Taliban
WASHINGTON — The Afghan Ministry of Defense confirmed Thursday that a video circulating on social media of a captured foreign fighter in Afghanistan’s southern Helmand province is authentic and the suspect is a German national who has worked for the Taliban for more than eight years.
“Monday night, our commando forces arrested three suspected insurgents, two Afghans and one German national during a raid in Grishk district of southern Helmand province,” Defense spokesperson General Dawlat Waziri told VOA.
“They had weapons, ammunition and military gear in their possession,” Waziri added.
Suspected bomb-making compound
Helmand provincial police officials say the alleged German national, whose identity has yet to be revealed, was a Taliban adviser in southern Helmand province for the past year and was arrested during a raid on a suspected Taliban bomb-making compound.
“The German national was serving as an adviser to Taliban’s Red Unit [Taliban Commando] in southern Helmand province,” General Mohammad Dawood Tarakhil, an Afghan local police chief, told VOA.
Provincial officials said the suspect would be interrogated about how he ended up with the Taliban.
Omar Zwak, Helmand governor’s spokesperson, told VOA the suspect was transferred to Kandahar for further investigation.
An Afghan general from the 215 Corps told BBC that the suspect is in U.S military custody in southern Kandahar province.
However, Army Captain Tom Gresback, a spokesperson for NATO Resolute Support Headquarter in Kabul, said he could not confirm the suspect was being held in U.S. custody and directed further inquiry about the issue to Afghan authorities.
Neither the German government nor German forces serving under the U.S.-led NATO mission has commented on the news.
Foreign fighters
Afghan security officials claim foreign fighters are present in the ranks of the Taliban and Islamic State terror groups.
“We have long been stressing that foreign terrorists are helping Afghan militants wage war in Afghanistan,” Waziri said.
He said foreign militants fighting alongside the Taliban and IS in the country include Uighurs, Chechens, Tajiks, Pakistanis, Arabs, French and Algerians.
Afghan officials claim that most fighting in the ranks of the Islamic State in the country are foreign nationals.
Last month, General John Nicholson, commander of the U.S.-led mission in Afghanistan, told a press conference in Kabul that currently there are about 1,500 IS fighters in the country.
“We have cut their [IS] numbers in half over the last two years. We have killed their amirs’ (chiefs), we have reduced their territory, again, we have driven their fighters out of parts of the country,” Nicholson said, rejecting claims made by Russian officials that there are thousands of IS fighters in Afghanistan.
The American general added that IS militants are operating in parts of the eastern Afghan provinces of Nangarhar and Kunar and maintain a pocket in the northern Jowzjan province.

‘German Man’ Captured In Afghan Raid On Taliban Compound
Afghanistan’s security forces have captured a German man during a recent raid on a suspected Taliban bomb-making compound in the southern province of Helmand, Afghan officials say.
It appears to be a rare example of a European citizen fighting on the side of the insurgency in Afghanistan.
Omar Zwak, the provincial governor’s spokesman, said on February 28 that the man was carrying documents identifying him as a German citizen.
He said the man was taken on February 26 along with two other suspected insurgents to a compound in Gereshk district.
The initial investigation suggested that he was not a prisoner of the insurgents and had been participating in making roadside bombs, Zwak said.
Gereshk police chief Ismail Khplwak said the man was a “military adviser of Mullah Nasir,” commander of the commando-style Taliban Red Unit in Helmand.
The Afghan military showed photographs of a man in his 40s with a reddish-brown beard and wearing a black turban and traditional Afghan clothes.
An army statement said the man, who calls himself Abdul Wadood, was detained with other suspects in a joint operation by Afghan special forces and the country’s air force.
Germany’s authorities have not immediately commented.
But the German daily Die Welt reported that the man was a convert to Islam called “Thomas K” from Rhineland-Palatinate, near Frankfurt. The report said he had traveled to Afghanistan in 2013 to join the Taliban.
The Taliban, fighting to drive foreign forces out of Afghanistan and reimpose their vision of strict Islamic law, has not attracted thousands of foreign fighters from Europe like the Islamic State militant group once did in Syria and Iraq.
Fighters from neighboring countries such as Pakistan and Uzbekistan have been found battling alongside the Afghan Taliban. But U.S. commanders have said no significant numbers of militants from outside the region have been identified.
On February 24, General John Nicholson, the top U.S. commander in Afghanistan, told journalists that no more than a “smattering” of other foreigners have been seen with the local affiliate of Islamic State.
“A very small number. This is no comparison to what we saw in Iraq and Syria,” he said.

BERLIN (Reuters) – German authorities registered at least 950 attacks on Muslims and Muslim institutions such as mosques in 2017, the Neue Osnabrueckner Zeitung reported in Saturday editions, citing data provided to lawmakers by the Interior Ministry.
The ministry said 33 people were injured in the attacks, of which 60 were directed against mosques, some involving pig’s blood, the newspaper reported.
No data were available for comparisons since the ministry only began separately collecting data about anti-Islamic attacks – as opposed to anti-migrant attacks – in 2017.
Nearly all those responsible for the attacks were right-wing extremists, the data showed, according to the newspaper.

Last night I watched “Paper Heads,” a 1995 documentary about Communism in what was then Czechoslovakia. It mixed propaganda films from the regime with testimony from people who had been tortured in communist prisons, or whose relatives had been abused in some way by the state. It was a crude but very powerful film. All that talk about brotherhood and shared prosperity and justice concealed cruelty, injustice, and murder of those who stood between the Party and Paradise.
The most chilling part of the film, at least to me, were the clips of the 1950s show trials. The rhetoric from the judges and prosecutors, and the narration by the state media announcer, denounced the accused as traitors, parasites, enemies of the people, and so forth. And these poor people, dignified but clearly in terror, confessed to their “crimes” and received the death penalty. Only in this way could the worker’s paradise be built, or so it was claimed by the communists in the film.
Just now I read David Brooks’s column today about how progressives are winning the culture war. Brooks had recommended earlier a moderate approach to advancing gun control, beginning with treating gun owners with respect. He now concedes that he might have been wrong about that. Excerpt:
