The Christmas Eve statement reads in full:

Today, the United Nations agreed on a budget for the 2018-2019 fiscal year. ?Among a host of other successes, the United States negotiated a reduction of over $285 million off the 2016-2017 final budget. Hungarian Christmas Message: ‘We’ll Protect Christian Culture, Not Retreat Behind Concrete Blocks and Watch Our Women Harassed on New Year’s’

Viktor Orbán has used his annual Christmas message to call on Europeans to protect their Christian culture, and vowed Hungary will not “retreat behind concrete blocks” at Christmas and watched its women and daughters “harassed in the New Year’s Eve crowd” like its multicultural neighbours.

“Christianity is culture and civilization. We live in it. It is not about how many people go to church or how many pray honestly. Culture is the reality of everyday life… Christian culture defines our everyday morals,” wrote the Fidesz leader, in an article published in Magyar Id?k.

Orbán took aim at the enemies of his ‘country first’ policies, who say he cannot claim to be Christians if he will not allow “millions from other continents to settle into Europe” in accordance with the commandment to “love thy neighbour as thyself”.

Thank you all who are members of this community, which you all built wth your thoughts, your loyalty, your dedication and sense of fraternity with all others who, as JohnnyU pointed out, are not joiners. And therefore look for a place for healthy skepticism while avoiding unhealthy cynicism.

Thanks primarily to Donald Trump, but not to discount a large number of brave and very hard working people who also have been working for the restoration of classically liberal values, we have seen some, no, lots of fantastic news in 2017.

We have been a part of that process. It has been pointed out, sometimes subtly, and sometimes less so, that information from this site and its related channels has more reach and influence than we may think. Some of you have spotted the evidence of that from time to time.

And thus we enter the mid game. The time for slow, steady thoughtful pursuance of the goal. But the game is at least on and we have pieces on the board.

We must be careful not to celebrate what looks like victory however, when its really a gambit.

Those of us who wish the restoration of classical liberalism must demand the application of due process. This means when the leftists try to sacrifice a pawn like Al Franken and get the ‘Right’ to cheer because we don’t like him, its really opening up a path for checkmate. Because once we accept that an elected representative can be removed for unproven allegations then the game is theirs.

You can guess what they will demand next. And losing Franken is nothing to them. The victory would be short lived.

Due process, like freedom of speech, must be for all. Just as a healthy distinction between what is a law and order matter and what is an act of war is also needed to preserve our civilization.

And on that, I wish you all a very Merry Christmas and extend my thanks for the amazing efforts of so many of you to use this site to help inform us all.

And of course, all of those of you who have supported this site financially and myself in many ways.

Thank you again.

  1. This site is worth more than gold. Thank you everyone for your contributions, your effort and hard work.

Blessings to you all, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year .

Remember without the rule of law there can be no freedom, and without freedom there can be no civilization. We are fighting to save out freedom so we can rebuild the civilization that the left is destroying. As J.E. Dyer pointed out the world is moving into a new social paradigm, one that has never happened when humanity has weapons of the current destructive power. The US is about the only nations that is holding on to a large portion of the freedom we all took for granted for most of our lives. The question of will this move be for good or ill is still unanswered, for it to be good we all have to fight to preserve the rule of law. We have to do this even when it means we have to support pieces of slime like Franken and the other Dems who have been accused of crimes. We know that most of the people in Hollywood, Congress and the MSM are guilty of the crimes they are accused of committing. We also know that some aren’t, as Eeyore said the people being thrown to the wolves mean nothing to the left as long as they can destroy the rule of law. This is why Matt Damon is in so much troulbe (I can’t believe I am agreeing with him on anything) while both acts are a form of sexual assault there is a great difference between patting a womn on the butt and raping a woman. We must work to preserve that difference in our minds and in the law books.
